*SLAM!*
The door of the music room was slammed shut by Shuya Katsumoto as the co-principal’s face expressed his disgust with how his conversation had gone. He had hoped that Kyukaku would be the one that would undoubtedly agree on taking down Trent Davis, but apparently Shuya had been wrong. Once more Kyukaku showed that his stubbornness and cockiness was enough to ruin even the most perfect of deals. There would’ve been enough to gain, for both of them, but it seemed that Kyukaku thought it to be an insult to work directly with Shuya. He would probably feel threatened by Shuya in some way… Whatever the case, Kyukaku was challenging Shuya… He probably thought that Shuya was all words and no show, but he would be mistaking greatly. Shuya would keep his word… Kyukaku would be transferred out of Hircine High by tomorrow. Shuya would ensure that the young captain would…
Returning to his office, he didn’t return the greeting he got from his assistant. She would know something was wrong and as always, she knew her place in that as well. She would ask him no questions related to that. In fact, she would’ve probably charmed and cheered him up with her too short skirt… if it wasn’t for Shuya’s colleague. As he entered his office, he noticed Victoria sitting in her chair, working on some paper works. He greeted her with a small nod before he took a seat behind his own desk. Annoyed about the current situation, he opened up his web browser and started checking out the internet, finding out everything he could about the student transferring laws without Victoria noticing. If she spoke, he would respond to her, but for now he wouldn’t be the one to take the initiative in starting a conversation.
It wouldn’t take him long to find out what he had already guessed. The papers for transferring a student would have to be signed by all leading figures at a school. This would obviously mean that Victoria would have to sign the papers as well… And since Kyukaku had been a tremendous student and captain, Shuya was convinced that she would never sign such a paper… There was nothing to it… he would be forced to somehow copy her signature and get it on the transfer papers. A task that wasn’t too hard… Slowly, Shuya reached to the side of his desk where a bundle of papers were stacked. Scanning through them quickly, he finally found the one he needed. One of the teachers had applied for a raise… and luckily for Shuya, a confirmation of something like that needed the signature of both principals as well. With a not really caring look on his face, Shuya signed his part of the letter before he tossed the piece of paper to the other side.
“Can’t remember how long that has been lying around… We both agreed on giving him a raise, right? I guess he deserved it… after all, he did educate the classes with the highest test results and lowest criminal activities involvements…”
Shuya waited for Victoria to sign the letter before checked the clock. He couldn’t have timed it more perfect. Victoria’s assistant was always on her break around this time, leaving Shuya’s assistant in charge of any filled paperwork to be processed. He called her through the intercom to pick up the filled paperwork of today. Within seconds she stood in their office with her ever lingering smile on her face, picking up the paperwork before leaving once more. After a minute or so, Shuya took out a cigarette and walked out of his office. Victoria knew Shuya occasionally left for a smoke… today was no different.
As he left his office and arrived in the entrance room where their assistants were stationed, his assistant had just finished piling up all the paperwork and was about to take some of it to administration.
“Wait a second, my dear…” Shuya said as he smiled kindly again. “I need you to do me a little favor… I want you to make me a copy of that salary raise letter… and while you’re at it, I need you to get me a student transfer form. Just keep it to yourself… and if you could, please come by my apartment tonight around… let’s say 8pm.?”
She smiled back at him before saying she’d get on it. With a content feeling, Shuya walked outside for his smoke before getting back in his office and work until 5pm…
8pm.
“Claire… please come in… I hope everything went alright?”
Shuya was once more amazed at how beautiful his assistant truly was. She had outdone herself once more as she appeared in front of his apartment wearing a beautiful black dress that ended above her knees.
”Of course, mister Katsumoto. Here’s the copy you requested and the transfer papers. I know it’s none of my business, but might I ask who’ll get transferred?”
“Please Claire… let’s not talk business in the precious hours we spent together away from Hircine… And unfortunately, it seems I still have some work to do. But please, make yourself comfortable…”
Graciously, Claire moved over towards his red sofa and took a seat there. There were already two large glasses of red wine standing on the table in front of the sofa. The tv was on some random channel and Claire looked playfully at Shuya once more.
“I’m sorry I have to do this Claire, but it shouldn’t take too long. Watch some tv, have some wine, I’ll try to hurry up.”
He winked before he walked out of the living room and into his study. He closed the door behind him and walked over to a closet filled with books. With little ease he pushed the shelf to the side and revealed a room behind it. Continuing on, he entered his true work space. Some high tech machines filled the room, along with one of the fastest computers on the market. He started some machines before he placed the copy on his scanner. The image was quickly scanned and he cut out the piece that contained the white background of the paper and the blue color of Victoria’s ink. Using a color recognizing program, he cut out the signature perfectly. After that, he loaded up one of the machines attached to his computer. The device contained a soft sponge like substance in the middle and detailed compressors all around it. With the right indication, they would form the sponge into the shape the creator needs. In this case, the signature would be perfectly and neatly cut from the sponge and after making some modification, a large block would be attached on the backside. He pushed the start button and the machine started doing his bidding.
It was clear now in what kind of environment Shuya had been working before he became the co-principal of an academy and in fact, he had never stopped doing his other work. He enjoyed it. Framing, conning, killing, whatever he wanted, just to get a kick out of it… and of course money. The machine however would take some time to make the sponge he wanted so he returned to his living room, only to find that his assistant had already finished her glass of wine. With a smile on his face, Shuya filled her glass once more and joined her on the couch where the two drank more wine, talked, watched some tv and enjoyed each other’s company… thermally.
10 pm.
Shuya left the living room once more as he returned to his workspace. The machine had already created the shape and had cooled the substance down to make it more solid. Shuya took out the stamp and moved over to a free desk. There he took a seat and read the transfer papers. They would be effective from the moment they were signed. Shuya had also looked up how long the procedure of undoing this would be. The database of the Educational Office of the United States of America had hinted that to reverse this process, at least two to three weeks would pass. So even if Victoria wanted to undo all of Shuya’s work, it would take some time. Hopefully enough time… Shuya filled in Tyler Scott’s information and placed his own signature in the lower left corner. After that he dipped the stamp he had just forged himself in a blue ink and placed it in the lower right corner.
“Perfect…” he whispered. It appeared as a completely normal signature… Since transfer papers weren’t put to a validity test heavily, Shuya was certain that the paper would get through. By tomorrow, Kyukaku would be forced to leave Hircine and take residence in Paragon Institute.
Shuya left his workspace and placed the bookshelf back in front of the passageway. As he moved to leave his study, the door suddenly opened and his assistance came walking in… however, her dress seemed to have gone missing somewhere along the way from the living room to his study.
”I don’t think I can drive home safely any more, mister Katsumoto… but I doubt it would be a problem if I stayed over, hm?”
As she turned around and left the study for his bedroom, Shuya smirked once more. ‘And on top of a perfect day at the office, it might become an interesting night as well…’
The following day.
The signed papers had been sent to the companies that needed them and the one that was kept at Hircine was already filed by Claire. All there was to it was handing Kyukaku a copy of the papers that notified him of the fact that he was being transferred, signed by both principals. Shuya had noticed Kyukaku sitting at the captain’s table outside, in front of his darkened windows. He had called one of the students close to Kyukaku to his office. When the student arrived, Shuya handed him the sealed letter and told him to give it to Kyukaku right away.
“And remember… I’ll know when you’ve opened it before he has… and trust me, you don’t want to know what effect that will have on your future… life…”
With that, Shuya stared out his office window, watching Kyukaku as the student finally arrived outside and handed him the letter. When Victoria found out, she would probably get upset… but what was more interesting was how Kyukaku would react to this news… Probably in his tough non-caring way… but Shuya knew that even for Kyukaku, this was an important change of events…
