The day was a dull and cold one as a somewhat familiar face walked toward the courtyard of Hircine High. This person was had been thought to be dead on more than one occasion, but once again he returned from his so called 'Grave'. There probably weren't many people in Hircine that actually knew about him because the little time that he spent there in the past he never really stood out too much. It really didn't matter to him, though, because the only people that actually mattered to him were the few friends that he had made in Varron, and most of them had probably forgotten him over time. He had caused quite a stir in his few months at Varron, helping out both Legion and The Hand of Fate, and even being involved in the infamous fire bombing of the Edge.
That was all in the past now, along with the person that he once was. He has destroyed the many demons that he had within him at one point in time, and he is now a completely different person. This young man's name is Drake Moldune, the last survivor of his immediate family. He had killed his own brother who, though he wanted to kill Drake himself, had respect for the true son of their parents. Now Drake had gone through many changes over his six months away from the place that had caused him so many problems. He dyed his hair a dark green color, and he even grew a few inches taller over his time away. Whether or not his old friends would recognize him, or even believe that he is actually alive, he would soon find out.
He continued his walk through the courtyard with a few people whispering to each other and asking who he was. No one seemed to have a clue, which made Drake feel a little better about himself. He hadn't yet made an impression on the general public of Hircine, and so they didn't know about his past. Not that he cared if they knew about him anyway, but it was nice to know that people didn't think he was himself. He knew that words of both him and his brother's death had went around the school like wildfire, but without a body how could they even believe such a story? It didn't matter. Whether or not people believed that he was dead meant little now that he had returned and he knew it. It was just a matter of time before everyone knew that truth.
Drake walked around the school so that he could get to the back courtyard. The school had its very own beach and a good view of the Golden Gate Bridge. He had never taken the time to look at the scenery around the school since his life was very confusing when he first came to Hircine. He sat in the grass and let his hair blow freely in the brisk wind that went around him. To think that his return was almost the exact opposite of his first time in San Francisco. It was raining the night that he arrived there six months ago. He never would have predicted everything that would happen after that day to lead up to now, but the fact is that it happened. There is no way to change what has happened in the past, and Drake was one person that knew that. Everything happens for a reason, and so the fact that he's still alive must have a reason behind it as well.
He could see some female students in a group pointing at him and giggling, and he let out a long sigh. To Drake woman were nothing more than children. They play with the males like a child would play with a brand new toy, and than once they get bored or lose that said toy they go and get another one. Drake simply stared at them as they continued to giggle and whisper with each other. This school didn't seem to be any different from Varron accept for the fact that there was something called the 'Pillar System'. Drake didn't know exactly what it was, but he knew that it was some sort of authority in the halls of Hircine High. He didn't care about it just yet, but if it became a problem he may have to look into it. Drake than stood up and looked over his shoulder. 'Someone's coming my way...'

Kyukaku cursed himself for wishing his life to be a bit more eventful.
It was that wish that caused him to end up in Varron, where life was anything but uneventful. From showdowns in the forest to attempts on his life in his own home, Kyukaku never had time to breathe. Framed for rape and sent to jail, he was cleared of charges just in time to pack up and move to Hircine shortly after the other Varron transfers. Not that anything slowed down. He had been buried alive, beaten down by Watchers, and now the target of yet another frame up and blackmail.
In his best efforts to clear his mind, Kyukaku found himself walking through the courtyard of the school. It was a nice day out at least, though the sound of teenage girls chattering broke him away from his thoughts for a moment. As a result of spacing out, Kyukaku bumped into another students back as he stood up to look over his shoulder. Neither of them lost balance, but it was still a rather hard collision. He turned his head over his own shoulder as he looked at the green-haired boy.
"Sorry about that, guy."

Drake had attempted to get a good look at who was coming in his direction, but his turn was interrupted as the student bumped into his back. He barely moved at all after the hit, but he did turn around to see just who it was that bumped into him. The slightly shorter student apologized to Drake, and after hearing his voice Drake got a slight shiver down his spine. This voice was one that he knew all too well. The voice of a person who had been both a good friend and a terrible enemy. This person had done so much for Drake, but all because of a mistake he made this guy thought of Drake as nothing more than a traitor. Once Drake had turned completely around he quickly looked the student up and down to make sure that his assumptions were correct. 'There's no doubt about it...'
It was none other than Tyler Scott himself, but to most people he was know simply as Kyukaku. The last time that Drake had seen Tyler face to face was about eight months ago in the hellish flames that consumed the Edge. Tyler had fought against Jackal, Drake's inner rage incarnate, in the building as it was on fire. Maybe it was really just Drake wanting to prove himself to Tyler maybe it wasn't, but either way the end result was inevitable. Drake had left his mark on Tyler, but he also lost the fight and supposedly his life. He was trapped underneath debris from the ceiling and Tyler was left with no choice but to leave him there. Somehow Drake had managed to escape, but maybe it would have been better for him if he stayed and died in the flames that seemed so ironic to him at the time.
A large gust of wind blew by the two and moved Drake's hair so that it wasn't blocking half of his face anymore. Whether or not Tyler would recognize him or not, Drake didn't know, but one thing was for sure. He wasn't going to let this fated meeting go without meaning. Drake rubbed his back a little to show that he felt the hit, and than he looked directly at Tyler's only visible eye because he was simply looking over his shoulder. The girls by the school were now giggling even more because their were now two guys right in front o their eyes, and Drake let out another deep sigh. His gaze never wandered from Tyler as he placed his hands in his pant pockets. "No problem at all. Things like that happen all the time." He than looked slightly to his right and closed his eyes. "So how have you been... Kyu?..."
His eyes opening right as he stated the name, the jade irises staring Tyler down with the slight hint of red around the pupil standing out. These eyes were unlike any other, and Drake knew that. If letting Tyler know that he knew who he was and the sight of Drake's eyes didn't jog his memory, than there was little else that he could do that wasn't subtle. He continued to look at Tyler with his piercing eyes, not glaring just looking directly at him with intensity. The wind continued to blow and so did Drake's dyed green hair. It may have been eight months since they last saw each other, but Drake was not the type of person to forgot things very easily. 'To see someone after you thought that they were dead... I truly wonder what that's like...

(OOC: This is the third time I've had t9 read your post, because you keep editing! I hope you're happy!)
Do I know this guy...?
Kyukaku was preparing to continue on his way as his apology was accepted, though the end was added with a question about Kyu himself. From there, things seemed to move in slow motion. Kyukaku turned on his heels, facing the green haired boy as his eyes took in his features. The face was unmistakable, only reinforced by the unique features of the eyes. In what seemed like minutes to Kyu, but had only beeen a few seconds, Kyukaku rushed forward.
He'd suddenly grip Drake's lapel with his left hand as he smacked his hip into Drake's. Shaking the balance, Kyukaku's left leg would sweep Drake's feet out from behind him as Kyu pushed forward. He'd follow Drake to the ground, kneeling at his side as he slammed him down into the grass. He tightened his grip on Drake as he brought his right fist up, ready to bring it down if necessary.
"Drake! How are you alive!?" He'd demand, never taking his eyes off Drake. He jerked his hand, shaking Drake's fallen body as he repeated himself. "How!?"
He's alive...
Despite the aggression he showed, Kyukaku was relieved beyond belief. It was true that Drake had snapped at one point, betraying Kyukaku to join up with Kvist. He assisted in the firebomb attack on The Edge, something Kyukaku had been late to arriving. He had scar on his thigh, matching the half dozen scars on his torso and the one on his hand from Trent's blades. He tried to awaken Drake to his senses, but was sadly only able to knock them from him. The roof began to collapse, and Kyukaku was seperated from the fallen Drake. He tried to go back in to save him, only to be restrained from Taiku as the building collapsed into ash.

(OOC: Sorry about that. Most of my edits were small until the last one. But yes I am happy!)
The wind around them continued to blow the cool breeze that seemed to send shivers down people's spines. The girls that were watching and giggling moved inside, but still kept their eyes on the two males from inside. Drake continued to look at Tyler, waiting for any sign that he had recognized him, and than finally it happened. Drake could see the slight change in Tyler's eyes right before he rushed forward on the offensive. 'Does this mean that he still thinks of me as an enemy?... I wonder...' Tyler grabbed onto Drake's shoulder and quickly sent his hip directly into Drake's, causing him to lose the balance that he had established. Inside Drake was smiling at just how familiar this was to him. In the past there was almost never a time where the two weren't fighting, even if it was simply sparring with each other.
Drake could have easily dodged the incoming attack, but he wanted to see where Tyler was going with it. There had to have been a deeper reason for him attacking right on the spot than just to cause Drake harm, and so far there was no pain anyway. As Drake's balance was shaken Tyler sent his leg behind Drake's in a sweep move and tripped him so that he could bring Drake down to the ground. He brought Drake down forcefully with his left hand that still had a grip on his shoulder, but as Drake slammed into the grass he still didn't feel like this was an actual fight. All of Tyler's moves had simply been done to subdue him and put him in a situation where he had little choice but to talk. Tyler than brought his right hand up in a fist and held it up, ready to attack if he needed to.
Instead of bringing it down right away he kept it up and stared down at Drake, most likely looking for some sign of aggression. There was none at all, in fact Drake just laid calmly in the grass as he continued to look at Tyler's face. Tyler than starting yelling at Drake, asking him how he was still alive, and shaking his body with his left hand. Drake simply laid there and watched as Tyler continued to ask him how he lived through the fire bombing incident. Drake now know that no matter how pissed of Tyler seemed he had to have been relieved to see him alive and well, and the fact that Drake wasn't going berserk had to be an added plus. After awhile Tyler stopped shaking his body, but he still held his fist high ready to attack at any time.
Drake let out yet another sigh as he looked to the side and saw that the girls inside were going crazy at what was going on outside. As he brought his attention back to Tyler he a slight smirk could be seen on the right corner of his lips. "Well this sure seems like a large dose of deja vu now doesn't it?" He didn't know if Tyler had the same feeling, but Drake remembered that he was almost always on the receiving end of every attack. "You really haven't changed a bit since I've disappeared. That's a relief. I don't think I'd be able to handle you with if you had changed. But anyway, you wanted to know why I'm still alive, right? Well that's a really good question. I don't remember how I got out of the Edge that day, but when I woke up I was outside in between two garbage cans."
Drake stopped to let out a single laugh at how ironic that was. "I guess that someone must have been taking out the trash or something." He stopped as another brisk gust of wind went by the two of them. Whether or not Tyler would continue his interrogation with Drake was unknown, but even if he did Drake would act the same way through it all. Drake then moved his body a little and looked up at Tyler with a slightly annoyed look on his face. "Now that I've answered your question will you please get off of me? Than maybe we can have a regular conversation." Drake would than wait on the ground for Tyler to either get up off of him, or refuse and continue to scream at Drake. 'I guess that I should have expected something like this from you, Tyler.'

(OOC: Sorry about length, I just wanted to get this up before I go home life I said.)
Though Kyu made no moves to express it, the deja vu was very apparent. From Drake's first day of school, going berserk on students only to be subdued by Kyu, to becomming his student in Isshin Ryu Karate, to his betrayal, and eventual 'demise.' The result had always been the same, Kyukaku would control the situation, whether it included subduing Drake to keep him from hurting others or himself, to knocking him unconcious, there was no denying the amount of times they had come to situations quite similiar to this one.
He remained quiet as Drake spoke up yet again. It was a complicated question of whether Kyukaku had changed or not. To most, he was the same idealistic fighter who always stood up for what he believed. What many didn't know was the darker side to the student, brought out by Trent Rydell, all too familiar with Drake's 'Jackal" counterpart. With life's tensions at yet another peak, Kyukaku found himself dangerously close to drifting from those ideals, and whether Drake hadn't meant to, he was reminding Kyu exactly who he was.
As for Drake's ressurection, it seemed either he was unknowing or unwilling to share. In the end, it didn't matter. Drake was alive, and that's what counted. Despite their differences, Kyukaku now found himself unable to contain a soft smile as he took a breath of fresh air in through his nostrils, closing his eyes. Slowly, he would get up, extending his right hand down to help Dylan up if he chose.
"You know, you did try to kill me."
