The starry sky, vast in its scope and endless in its boundaries. Stars flicker here and there, fading into or from Existence. The stars are nice, they are a Illusion, they make it seem as though things last forever, that lives are longer than just mere moments.
Auroth sat there, on the school roof, staring out into the starry night sky. He was leaning up against a wall, his azure eyes anointed toward the Heavens. The moonlight softly shinned down upon his form, illuminating him and his surroundings. From here, everything looked beautiful, everything looked so serene. He did not know what compelled him to travel to the school at night, climb to the roof and sit staring at the stares.... but it felt so right doing it. For a while now, Auroth had been uneasy.... His world was crumbling, or rather that the crumbling was speeding up. He felt it as well... the darkness in his body grow. At school he feels his wrathful aspect take command, reacting to the atmospheric tension of Hircine. But here, along and at night, he could be himself. He no longer felt his inner demons acting up, nor the fear that he could break out into Frenzy.
It was a marvelous feeling.... One that the blonde knew was transient and truly fleeting.
He felt it then, he felt it.... the cold rush of fear mixed anger in hsi system. Sweat now dripped from his brow, as he got up... trying to negate his inner omens. He breathed in and out deeply, trying to maintain control.... yet, yet.. he knew it was too late. A strain then appeared in his chest, and his palm clutched his sternum. Pain was rushing in now, as he felt the world around him distort... His senses began to go on the fritz... A thousand claps appeared in his left ear, while dead silence in his right. At first he smelled blood, yet his mouth reacted as though it tasted sugar. Everything was distorting, changing... as he felt the pain in his chest continue. The pain... it felt... transcendent. It was a pain that was not there so to speak. He knew the pain was not real, and yet it felt oh so real. Gasping for air, he slumped against the wall once more.... trying to regain his footing...
And then suddenly, everything went white....
Orbs appeared then.... Orbs bearing the light of God. They spoke to him too, telling him that he must dance.
"Dance?" He asked. The orbs all said yes...
Then appearing in the white, a mirror image of Auroth appeared, bearing a dark smile. Extending his hand out, Dark Auroth asked for Auroth to dance with him. Accepting warily, Auroth took Dark Auroth's hand. Music began to flood now, as strings and piano filled the Endless Blankness of this world. The Angels had told him to dance with his inner evil... and what could he do? Following the beat of the music, he danced with his darkness in an endless waltz..... Moving back and forth between the lines of sanity and madness....
In the real world, Auroth was dancing by himself. He was dancing as though he was caught in a waltz, his feet moving in a three step beat all across the roof. The moonlight struck him ever so perfectly, illuminating his erratic movements. His hands twitched and shook, as if he was going through withdrawal. His eyes snapped back and froth between open and closed, as his head shook furiously and wildly. He was lost now... lost to the beat of the dance... lost to the beat of the strings and piano...
Trapped in an Eternal Waltz till the end of Time.
