It is not Varron, but I guess it will have to do...
I smirked and walked through the double doors leading into the school grounds. I felt it was a beautiful day to go back to school. And beautiful it was indeed, the sun was shining brightly in the heavens above, students were sitting in the green grass enjoying themselves, having a laughter during lunch break. Yes; I was late in showing up, very late, I had to take care of some stuff related to my recent change of behavior. First of all, getting a dorm room for the last half the year was not easy to arrange, but it had been done and I had a piece of paper somewhere in my backpack with my dorm room.
For this special occasion of my return to school, I wore a simple pair of black shorts with a matching black t-shirt and a pair of sandals. I turned away from the asphalt road and walked out on the grass and I felt some grass softly touch my feet. I had no real destination. But as I walked, I had a feeling that this day might become something extra.

Rena poked her head into the school grounds. She was overwhelmed with amazement, this was going to be her new school. Wherever she looked however, everyone was bigger then her! It was so unfair for her to be grounded so lowly in the world. The thought never really depressed her unless she really thought about it. Putting her smile back on, she rushed straight towards the entrance. As she took her first step, her feet slipped and she fell over head first onto the dirt. A small cloud of dust ruptured from the force of the fall. Getting up she began to cough. It tasted horrible, the dust had gotten into her mouth.
It didn't stop her and she quickly jumped back up! Making another run, she ended up hitting something this time. Staggering back, this time she landed on her butt. Looking straight up, it was a pretty tall looking guy. She shivered in fear at his presence, well probably from the fact that he was bigger then her.
"Sorry, Mister." she squealed.

I barely moved when something bumped into me. It was first when I had noticed what it was that had hit me, that I stepped back. Either to prepare for a football kick that would send this kid flying through the air like a football. But, I restrained myself from doing so, it took considerable effort not to kick her. Especially when I saw her small size. Something about looking weak made me want to kick things. Weak things. Just a habit of mine. My mind began processing this information, calculating if I could gain anything from befriending this girl. Physical combat or meat shield was pretty much out of the question. A spy could be a good thing to have ... I would have to figure out something later. I had hesitated for a moment before I smiled to the girl, a friendly smile and I reached down with my right hand for her to grab. If I had guessed her weight class right, then I could lift her in one arm. But if she grabbed my hand, I might pull her up a bit too fast. Underestimating my own strength compared to her body weight.
”Don’t mention it kiddo. Are you alright? It looked like you took quite the fall.”

Rena looked up wide-eyed from the shock that the guy wasn't as bad as she thought. Rubbing her left eye she tried to grasp a better look at him. He was indeed taller then her by a feet at the very least. For a few seconds she could only examine the man and wonder if he was a student here as well. Well it wouldn't really surprise her since she was extremely small and didn't look her age at all.
Gently grasping the guy's hand with her own small sized one, she lifted herself up. Another thought came to her from somewhere else in her mind. Perhaps the guy was acting nice, but want to do something her. Sometimes she didn't know how crazy random thoughts came out from her mind. Often times the thoughts were things she herself never thought of. She shook her head not believing her own mind.
"I'm terribly sorry." she said bowing repeatedly from a force of habit.

What do you say to the person you had just had knocked over by accident. What did you say when she started bowing to you? ... repeatedly... I was not certain. But I did act by reaching out and grabbing her left shoulder so she couldn't bow anymore. Or well, if she dislocated her shoulder she could, but that didn't seem like a very logical thing to do, in my mind.
"Hahah, cute, but please, stop it. It's sort of embarrassing."
I took a glance around and noticed some people were staring, like I would be staring at her right eye, or rather, the patch covering her right eye. I was stunned for a second, in all of her movement, I hadn't noticed the eye patch. Now that I had noticed, it was quite hard not to look at it, mostly because when I talked to people, it was their right eye I focused on. Instead of my usual smiling appearance, I wondered if this was an injury I had caused in the past. But I couldn't recall her face, at all.
"You... Ehm, what is wrong with your right eye?"
I did not notice that my hand was still holding her shoulder.

Post by Neuro Vladimirovich Faustin on Sept 16, 2008 5:49:56 GMT 1
The first day at the new school. Neuro had hand picked this place, because it had the most interesting history he had ever heard... Just how long WOULD it take before he encountered some of the fighters he had heard so much about? Little did he know that just this morning, he would be meeting one of the worst students to ever grace the school... Even if nobody knew it...
As he passed through the gates, he caught the scene before him. An unusually small girl, bowing incessantly to an average sized boy. She seemed intimidated by their height difference, and Neuro saw a situation he just could not help but take advantage of...
He very slowly walked in their direction, listening to their exchange. There was something strange about the way the boy was acting... Almost... Unnatural? Perhaps he was just another mindless drone who didn't know how to handle people. The boy would see Neuro's approach, but he hoped that he would not immediately alert the girl, as Neuro tried to look as though he were just going to pass by harmlessly. What she might have noticed, was his shadow, as it slowly crept over her... And past her... And over the boy in front of her... If she were to turn around now, she would come face to stomach with another student... One who stood almost 3 full feet taller than her, at 7 foot nothing.
“Hello there...” He said, his voice without even the slightest trace of his Russian accent. “I'm new to this school... And I wondered if perhaps you might help...” His face displayed a happy smile and gave the feeling that he was a nice boy who would help old lady's cross the road in his free time... A facade of course... But only the most adapt at reading people would see through his carefully practiced emotion... He looked down at the two, not even trying to compensate for his height, however his expression made him seem more naive to it than doing so maliciously.
