( OOC: I ask that no character be present on the roof (unless they have a good reason (and aren't going to shut it down before it begins)) as my character sets up and lights the display. Please? *Flutters eyes* CHANGED: This is to be taken place AFTER Stern's event.
As well: I've edited the only part that REALLY needs to be edited: the fact that 'tecnically', she can't buy certain types of fireworks in the state of California... I've done my research and I've done it well. )
It was nearing July. July meant the fourth of July. The forth of July meant celebrations. Celebrations meant...fireworks. Throw a teenage girl who constantly looks for amusing things to do into the mix, and you have one hell of an idea. There was something missing from the equation...some vital piece that was vital to the plan.
The place.
She knew what she was going to do, and not even Will was let in on her precious plan. It just added to the surprise when it happened...that, and he wouldn't get caught up if there was a mess afterwards and she was picked out for being the instigator of the whole fiasco. It had been easy to sneak the fireworks from a store in Nevada after a trip the previous weekend in her bag to the dorms. She had left on Friday after school - and taking a small amount of time to pack the essentials - and had arrived back mid-afternoon on Sunday. It had been just as easy moving them the same way to her locker and a small set of bushes just outside the main exit to the courtyard in the center of the school the previous evening campus the day before she planned for her sneaky little 'event' to go down.
She had quite the assortment, from five rockets, four mini missiles, two shriekers, a fountain, and a small pack of six with the fuses together loaded with random effects to be put off as a finale.
Grinning as she pulled her hair into a makeshift, messy bun at the end of first class, Aryn sat on the balcony as she waited for those students who had class at this point to get to them, going so far as to wait half the class through for good measure. Walking calmly to her locker with a grin to match the Cheshire cat, Aryn grabbed her bag and set her plan into motion. Her lights had to be near enough so they would go off almost simultaneously. Retreating outside, she began humming Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture as she snuck the rockets from their hiding place and set them in the ground quickly. She had two very small remote detonators - the things you can learn when your daddy's in the military - one for the five rockets outside, and another for the two missiles she would be sending down opposite halls on the second floor that would alert pretty much everyone in the schools.
She'd done her research, though. Lockers lined the two halls; she didn't want to start any fires. And the missiles were silent enough that they would not make too much noise going down the halls...until they exploded in a mid-sized burst of colours and noise. They were raised off the floor a few inches so they wouldn't skid into another hall and were aimed carefully.
Her first aim was to create a bit of confusion on the second floor. Her green eyes glittering in the low light in her excitement, Aryn knew that even with the remote detonators decreasing the time she would need to spend running around, she still had to get up onto the roof to set up and set off her remaining fireworks...and then either get down the stairs again, or hide and mill about in the crowd that was sure to appear on the roof. The missiles were set on the second floor, ready to go.
As Aryn sprinted passed the closed classroom doors towards the stairwell to the roof, she pressed the button 'M', the song now playing in her mind as she heard the hiss of the fuse lighting. Willing her legs faster as she entered the stairwell, she took them running, covering two and then three steps at a time before taking them two at a time. It wasn't long before she heard the crackle of her miniature missiles. Bursting out on the roof, she would give the staff and students two minutes before she set off the rockets.
By that time, she had set up all of her little displays as she flicked the button for the five short-fuse rockets, watching with glee as they shot up into the sky. Two mini lighters in hand, Aryn gave the school another two minutes before she let the shriekers loose, the fountain in the middle, the two remaining mini rockets following and shooting up into the sky to burst in a brilliant fizzle.
Of course, she lit the fuse for the last display of 'random rockets', letting the joined fuses burn off as she grabbed up her bag. Lighters jammed into her pockets, the brown-haired girl belted around to hide behind the sloping doorway, settling herself upon it and leaning there, not yet peering over the top.
Yes, it was only a matter of time.
'This should be talked about for weeks to come.' She thought with a half snicker, watching the finale screech to an end, the noise outside - though slightly faint - alerting her to the fact that there were students in the courtyard below. Undoubtedly, some or most, were now heading upstairs despite the teachers trying to bar the way. She only had to bide her time until there was a crowd large enough that she could slip into and not be...noticed.

ooc: The 1812 Overture? Very nice taste in music!
ic: After a long hot day outside, Sakura decided that it was time to cool off and simply stay in the shade of the courtyard umbrellas with a cool drink in hand. She walked over to the library, picked up a study book and sat down at the closest table. Sakura sat in the courtyard reading the book, getting ready for an academy test that was to come up soon and sighed at the silence of the area. After finishing her book, Sakura decided to head back into the library for some more books, but was interrupted by a loud, screeching sound. Accompanying the screeching sound is was a firecracker that flew over Sakura's head and into the courtyard, where it simply flailed around, hitting and knocking over multiple furniture, ending by exploding into bright lights, then dying out.
Sakura dashed over to maintinence elevator and took it to the upper floor, opening it to see a rocket explode into bright lights nearby, making her fall into the elevator. She then took it back to the bottom and as that door opened, Sakura immediately went outside to see if there were any "shows" occuring on the outside. She continued to walked until she was outside and sat down on a bench near the school entrance, waiting for any thing else to happen outside, seeing as how the mischeif maker had already gone far as setting them off in the school.

Another boring day. (OOC: Notice how often that's used to describe school days?)
It had been a LONG while since August Velway had ever enjoyed his time in a classroom, and that had been in Science of Mechanics courses back in the start of Secondary school, when he still lived in Australia. Since coming to America, Velway had come to enjoy many great things that had famously defined the "Land of the Free," but it was no surprise when its one dirty detail lacked in giving any luster to the young man's life.
Drifting between sleep and gray-world consciousness, August laid his head against his plain beige desk, large arms both supporting and blocking the view of his eyes, gold-brown hair lopping his forehead. The Sun let rays warm his flesh, and since it was mid-morning, its light was not irritating him from the window's angle. His teacher was mumbling information that he considered worthless, and fortunately they had yet to take interest in a transfer student sleeping in their classroom. August could not help but groan to himself, Bloody hell, this class still has twenty minutes left!
Everything was fine, nothing odd or unique in the world, and Velway sensed that his teacher was beginning to grow aggravated with his attitude. Soon enough, he'd come over and attack him, and he'd have to stand up and beat him back.
It'll give me something to do, I guess.
Velway wasn't looking forward to it... but here he came, that bastard teacher of his...
"Velway, stand up." the forty-some year old man said, the white at his temples not furrowed by frustration; Mr. Thompson, an Algebra expert, was a veteran of the education system. He was certainly no advocate of the CPS method, but he didn't have any qualms with it, and have the experience and physique to exercise it. He was used to people with attitudes like August, and knew the best way to get their attention was to keep them focused; if he failed at that, he knew he'd need to earn their respect by beating the hell out of them, and it almost always worked.
And August knew that eventually, it'd work on him too. He had no protests either, so long as he came to that choice himself, and not by being forced to it.
Grunting in response as his legs pushed him upward, Velway stood at attention, staring at his teacher's eyes without a neutral recognition. He wasn't sure whether he respected the guy or not. It was still in the air.
"What were you dreaming? I hope it was counting sheep." Mr. Thompson responded, face stern.
Some of his classmates laughed lightly, but August grinned back, "Well, is their algebra involved in thinking of a naughty gal?"
The classroom's atmosphere grew more intense, as one of more of the other guys whistled, the girls giggled or scoffed, and another group merely added in the classic 'Ooooo.'
"I'm sure there could be, if you paid attention." Mr. Thompson responded, placing down his book, seeing what was necessary to continue class.
"If you just posted some play girls on the overhead rack, maybe I would!" August claimed, with a grin to the class' laughter. He was ready for the hit; he knew he deserved it.
Mr. Thompson cracked his knuckles, prepared to reel back his fist...
And suddenly, without warning, a screech filled the room, the hall, the world itself, and with instant reaction, every soul in the classroom ducked for cover, including August; he was used to this sort of sound, it reminded him of gunfire.
"What's going on?!" someone yelled incoherently, others responding or joining in their surprise, some in fear, some in confusion, some merely unsure what to do. August caught on relatively quickly that the noise in the halls weren't from a gun, but rather, a chain reaction of fireworks. The flashes and shrills were similar, but definitely different.
Standing up, steadfast with curiosity, Velway reached the door and opened wide to find an enormous of show of light and explosion, fireworks blazing across the halls in various sparkles and colors, reflecting from the light of the ceiling or the shimmer of the floor. The scene was spectacular, and in pure sense of adrenaline and excitement, Velway grinned and yelled, "Hell YEAH!!!"
Finally, the show ended with smoke and debris, but Velway was not finished with his rush. Charing out of the classroom with everyone else interested, his own mind worked to think that, more than likely, the best place to look for whatever source that needed discovery would be outside the school itself. Hearing more fireworks above him, Velway exited the building to look above his head, to catch the sight of a truly amazing sight of reds, whites, and blues. It was definitely something to wake someone from a slumber, and it had succeeded.
"Whoever thought this up was a genius!" August yelled in the crowd, hooting and clapping with the rest, curious of exactly why it had been done, but too preoccupied by its awesome effects, and the chatter that was already picking up.
Whoever pulled this off, I'm gonna find 'um, and buy them a drink. That was really a nice pick up, that's for sure.

. o O ( (XD Like the thought bubbles for the OOC?) Right, let's continue on...and hope that more join, considering...you know, the noise, the whole sparkly lights and all... =\ )
She only had to wait a few minutes before there was a crowd large enough for her to slip into. Still, she had to be careful with the way she did it. A siren wailing in the distance told her that someone - whether it was someone living nearby or someone in the school - had called the police. Still, she doubted there would be more than two cars coming. If more showed up...well, then she'd have to be very good at disappearing into the crowd.
Slipping backwards, Aryn shimmied down the slant of concrete, moving to the side nearest the edge of the roof before shuffling forwards slightly. She peered into the gloom of the doorway to assure herself nobody was coming. It was a bit hard, considering the noise from about thirty to forty students eliminated the noise coming from the stairwell. Taking her chance, she swerved out in front of the door and walked towards the crowd, putting a look of curiosity on her face.
She milled around amongst them, commenting once on "Wonder who did this..." before shrugging and moving back into the stairwell to move down the flights of stairs to take her to the main floor of the building. The teachers had seemed to give up on preventing students from going up to the roof, and now seemed content to merely make sure things weren't getting out of hand; their attempts at making the students return to their classes seeming to not be successful, though a few did.
That annoying tune had managed to lodge itself in her mind, and the music played over and over again. When there was nobody else within hearing range, she hummed it quietly as she moved quickly down the hall, opening one of the doors that led into the courtyard behind the school. There was quite the crowd gathered, Aryn noted as her eyes swivelled around, taking note of everything she could. A girl on a bench popped into view as someone moved from the spot they were standing at. But, she moved into the main crowd, slipping her other arm into the strap on her bag to let it hang comfortably on two shoulders.
Squirming through the crowd, Aryn wedged herself between a couple people. Turning to one, she nudged the girl lightly.
"Anybody have a clue as to who did this yet?"
"No, but we wish we did! The light show was pretty cool."
She nodded, shrugging mentally. Pushing ahead a little, she wound up just a few people from the edge of the mass of students. Her eyes glinted as she let herself have the pleasure of a satisfied smirk, before a rather energetic student jostled her into another. Stumbling lightly but righting herself quickly, she apologised quickly before grinning at the student...who, unknowingly enough, was an acquaintance with Will.
"Sorry about that. Everyone's really rowdy..." She said, flashing a quick grin. She tried to be noticeable, and yet, when she would move away, she also hoped, just this once, she'd be forgettable as well. Of course, it didn't mean she couldn't be a bit shameless. "Looks like whoever thought this out caught all of us on a boring day."

The knife slipped from Gerrard's hand, hitting the grass with a dull thump. Such a thing was the least of his worries, as the knight knew the demon in front of him would not be satisfied with disarming him, but rather-
Absorbed in his novel as he was, Cain literally dropped his book in surprise at the sound of twin explosions in the hallway. Cursing the culprit for not only surprising him, but causing him to actually lose his page, Cain rushed to the courtyard as most of his class had already done, watching the light show unfold. Unlike most of those present, there was no joy in Cain's face, but rather, a mixture of annoyance and disappointment. He could never understand the mentality of breaking the rules merely for fun, how someone could get joy out of undermining someone's authority was beyond him.
Regardless, it appeared that whoever had performed the deed had done a very good job at remaining discreet, which left Cain very little to work with. Of course, he wouldn't rule out the possibility of there being more than one culprit, but at the moment, searching for one was much easier than searching for many. He made his way through the crowd, reaching the ones who were the furthest from the school, and therefore, the first to exit the building, before grasping one boy's shoulder and starting his inquiry.
"Nice show. You know who started it?"
"No idea, man, but I wanna thank whoever it was. English is horrible..."
Disappointed, Cain turned from the boy and continued walking, not wanting to hear the rest of that sentence. English had always been his favourite subject, and in a situation like this, there was no time for a debate over the values of studying the English language. Amongst the generally thrilled mass, he caught sight of a student proclaiming how such an act was genius, or something along those lines. The noise made it difficult to pick out more than a few words, and on a whim, Cain decided to head closer to that particular student. After all, perhaps the ones behind it would make themselves known to their admirers in order to gain some sort of glory. As such, Cain would remain a good distance away, perhaps two or three people in between him and the student, who was currently engaged in conversation with another, listening to their words in case there were any hints he could pick up.

(I finally posted Amazing! And since I'm so unimaginative lately, I appologies for the...crappiness. Or if I messed something up =P ) 'Look what Mommy made Daddy do Mae-Lim...' POW! Mae-Lim awoke in a shock, gasping so deeply she began to choke. She was thrown into a coughing fit, tossing herself back down into a lying position and turninng to her side, hugging herself strongly. It had passed, and she could finally take notice of what was going on. She wiped the tears from her eyes, whether it was from her memory/nightmare or from choking she wasn't sure. Her eyes lowered partially and she curiously looked towards the school from the courtyard, where she had been more or less alone on her Spare period. Wait...did she have a spare? Or had she been told to NOT attend this class today by her behaviourist due to the...misshap of the day before? Probably the second. She admired the lightshow she saw from within the school through the windows until one firework came crashing out. With a series of blinks she pondered about wether she was indeed sleeping still or not. She pinched her arm, her gaze never shifting other then from the tiny wince of the pain. 'Nope. Still awake.' That's when all the Students came running out into the courtyard from..wherever and began to make a fuss over the fireworks. Mae-Lim stood up, yawned, stretched and casually made her way into the crowd. Her eyes became wide again, looking more up towards the roof where more fireworks were launched, colouring the sky with bright flashes and sparkles. Her jaw sort of dropped, her lips curving into a curious 'O'. "Wow!" she exclaimed, feeling a strange boost of energy. "Didn't expect that to ever happen." Mae-Lim pushed through the crowd rather bluntly, shoving others aside in order to get through. Of course it was rude, but Mae-Lim cared little for their fussing and just kept shoving along before stopping somewhere she felt was better for one reason or another. Mae-Lim looked around herself, the people near her and such, and the only who seemed any bit interesting was the girl who bumped into the guy after being shoved into him. "It's quite spectacular." Mae-Lim threw out, turning to look at August and Aryn with a smirk. "Whoever did this has rather unique ideas, I applaud them." She let her smirk disappear then, hoping she wasn't being an annoyance to the other two whom she had never met. You never knew these days. Mae-Lim herself often got testy with people who randomly joined into whatever conversation she was having. However the situation here was much more different then the situations Mae-Lim remembered, in fact she wouldn't of minded a little interaction with people. You know? Discuss what was happening/happened and blah blah blah.

"Hell, they're a mind reader then," August mentioned, quickly looking down at the new arrival next to him and attempting to subside his wild grin, practically failing. "Don't worry about it, I'd much rather have a girl bump into me than some big fat asshole."
August began to turn his eyes about him, scaning the local crowd for anyone he knew. Since he was still new at the school, all he came to see were unfamiliar seas of faces. Still, it seemed the event was lessening, and the aftermath would be the enjoyable, plenty of gossiping and joking and laughing and... well, flirting, of course. What else was there to do in a swarm of hormone driven teenagers?
A few moments later, another girl came into sight of August and his new acquaitance, talking about the fireworks' success. Realizing he was now in an actual conversation, the junior took a moment to look over his companions - one girl that appeared a tad roguish, and at his own age, and the other who appeared to be of Asian descent, and wearing brighter clothing (sorry, having to base it off of your appearance link; correct me if I'm wrong). Definitely not a bad set of company, to say the least.
"Hell, why applaud when you can yell, 'THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!', you know? Clapping is so cliche, best to YELL when the emotion COMES TO YA!!" August remarked, grinning in pride and joy; it was good to get out of school, to be a part of a crowd, and to be surrounded by good people. In the end, it was definitely a scene to be a part of.

Alasdair had began his walk towards the school his Ipod on hearing Kamelot as finnaly he was in distance and gazed up noticing the fireworks, he stopped and admired the show, he wasnt the one to be breaking the rules yet he always loved a good show and this had lifted a little of his thoughts from Kalina, after all his mind was on her all the time and for whatever the show was for had given him a little peace of mind.
The tall half Irish and half Scottish had arrived at the school that was surrounded by the police being how he was he walked in without a problem after all he was used to be invicible and it worked for him, the last thing he wanted is for people to look at him and investigate his past, after all the New Jearsey event and his new nickname "The Crimson King" had given him little fame yet he hopped it hadnt reached this school, as he walked noticed that most of the people weren't in their classrooms or on the surroundings so he went towards where the noise was coming from, as he looked at the backyard, a big crowd was there as he looked at it and only looked at his surroundings with his serious and cold face as he almost muttered to himself "Bloody Hell....They sure know how to entertain around here...dont they...." he said in his strange Irish-Scottish accent, as he took out his headphones to hear what was happening, the music was excellent as he closed his eyes and letted himself inspire by it, as he finally opened them and looked at the crowd, he had to move unless he wanted to drag any attention or anything within the matter, as the tall Irish-Scottish ladd began to walk among the crowd in silence invicible to all, even as tall as he was and the so strange red gigantic garb he carried he was almost unoticiable, his black spiky hair and the small amount of black beard he had helped him from time to time to go in icognito yet this time he was wearing such color that he will drag attention needless to say he didnt want to create so much, trouble as he was finally leaving the crowd when he bumped into a girl, the girl wasnt even his height yet he felt the little bump as he looked at her and offered a hand, thought his face continued to look serious and cold "My most sincere aplogiese Miss....I didnt see ye due to all this ruckus.....yet let me lend ye a helping hand...." he said offering his hand to the girl, people had began to notice Alasdair reddish color, as he began to feel the eyes on him <Bloody Hell...now that's was happens when ye bring yer best blistering garb to school....> he thought, as he awaited the girl to take his hand...

. o O ( Sorry for the wait, guys. xx; And, Mae-Lim, YAAAAY! =D Cain, I figured I'd try and bring you in a bit, if you'd like. Hope you don't mind. )
Aryn grinned momentarily at August's remark before tilting her head, a smirk visible on her lips. "And what if I was some big, fat asshole? Does it cancel your annoyance out because I'm also a girl?"
"It's quite spectacular. Whoever did this has rather unique ideas, I applaud them."
Grinning, Aryn turned to the new-comer and nodded, the grin slipping to a softer smile. Reaching up, she shook her fingers through her hair thoughtfully as August made his loud and proud remarks. It caused the grin to flare up again for a moment, and she looked back towards their female companion.
"Aryn. And the two of you?"
After they introduced themselves, Aryn took a moment to look around. Everyone around them were milling about, generally chatting and ignoring the few teachers that had already come out to attempt to get them back inside and in class. Shrugging lightly, she turned back to the two she'd been talking with, to comment nonchalantly.
"And what would the two of you think if I said it was me that did it?" She was so offhand about the question, they more than likely wouldn't take her seriously. She started to grin before she was knocked back by...someone in red. Stumbling back, she bumped against two other people, who also stumbled back as she fell, landing on her behind.
Aryn grumbled to herself, before making her disgruntled thoughts loud and clear. "Bloody fucking hell, that's the second time that's happened to me in a matter of ten minutes!" Unknowingly, the two she'd stumbled into bumped into someone else, a certain Cain Princeton, but Aryn paid no heed to anyone behind her for the moment as she took the offered hand, neatly hoisting herself up, using the guy only as leverage. "Thanks for the hand up, though."
Brushing herself off, she now took the time to look back at the people behind her, shrugging her shoulders lightly with a "Sorry guys." before turning her attention back to Mae-Lim and August. Their new little 'friend' in red had an accent, a really familiar one at that, despite the fact that Will's was more...well, she didn't know how to describe it, except to say it was a bit more 'defined'. Speaking of her friend...
"I wonder where the heck Will is..." She'd tilted her head thoughtfully, before shrugging. She wasn't all that loud with her little thoughts out loud, but at least the people she'd been conversing with could hear; she needed to take away from her little question she'd asked before she was bumped into. "Would have thought he'd come outside with the rest of us...maybe he's here somewhere."

Fireworks. Classrooms. Calm.
Needless to say, three words that, as a whole, rarely fit together in the same sentence. However, as it stood, there was a particularly large Irishman who began to stroll through the bodies with calm, slow steps, making a conscious effort not to collide with anyone where possible, as he watched the murmurs of assent with the situation they'd been faced with. As it stood, most of the members of his class had gathered at windows, with the teacher making rather wasted effort to return them to their seats, offering him a cushy opportunity to up and walk out.
Fact was, he was already on a lookout, because he knew only a handful of people who would willingly take a risk like this after Sterns efforts were shot to the ground a month or so before. The Principality at Hircine had quickly adapted a policy not unlike that of many militant states, and any such crap would be dealt with rather firmly, and harshly. That in mind, one name just wouldn't stop making him smirk as he palmed people aside quietly as his lumbering form made its way to the group at the front.
'If she's here, she'll be lapping this up from the very front o' the crowd. It's jus' like her.'
Had he been looking up or even listening, he would have heard them talking long before he even spotted her, flanked and followed by a few other students whose opinions seemed to match her own. It was doubtful anyone would expect him to react as he did, but considering that he recognised August and he doubted the other girl was about to remark on anything, the reaction would likely draw a smirk or two. In an effortless display, his hands quickly found both sides of her jeans, gripping the material firmly and hoisting her up before he 'spun' her a half-turn around and set her back down, as if adjusting her position like a mannequin. Standing nearly an entire foot over her, a light breeze conveniently keeping his hair blown away from his face, he shook his head with a roll of his eyes.
"I dinnae suppose ye've anythin' t'dae wi' this, Aryn? After a', who'd want tae incur MacMillans wrath right now efter that shite last month...?"
It was blatantly obvious to anyone that he knew, after all, he made a habit of ending up tied in with Aryn and her shenanigans, however instead of waiting immediately for his answer, he gave a short nod to August.
"Cannae say I'm shocked t'see you here, though."
Sharp and simple, but it was unlikely the Australian would see any offence in Wills simple, straighforward demeanour...Besides, it would do well for them not to draw too much attention their way.

So obnoxious. I hope he steps out of line, so I can make sure he does not open that mouth of his again...
To say Cain was annoyed would be an understatement, as he listened to August carry on, no doubt in an attempt to impress the females he was currently engaged in conversation with. The fact that moments later, the students he was taking cover behind were thrust towards him, in turn sending him stumbling back, though thankfully, the space behind him was empty. With his cover more or less blown, and his temper flaring, Cain took a deep breath, then began to walk around the growing crowd, bringing himself a few feet behind and to the left of Mae-Lim, choosing to stand in this particular area as she seemed the least violent at the moment.
From their attitudes, I doubt the rest are particularly keen on being "good" students.
After a moment, Cain simply shrugged. In the end, it didn't particularly matter, as regardless of their intentions, Cain intended on finding out as much as he possibly could. Finally, he heard a pause in the conversation, one that seemed appropriate for him to interject in, finally.
"Who indeed? And yet, here we are, all drawn out of class by the same lights and sounds, serving some unknown purpose."
It was doubtful that any of the students gathered shared Cain's sentiments. Regardless, the sophomore cared very little, as he was simply attempting to steer the conversation in a different direction, one that would possibly give him the information he sought. Should any of those gathered respond, he would look at the speaker, otherwise, his gaze would simply travel from person to person, gauging their reactions as best he could.
"Still, it seems that despite however I look at it, there's no real purpose behind these fireworks. It's almost as if they were done simply for the sake of being done..."

"Thus spoke Zarathustra," came the voice from behind Cain, clearly mocking his articulate observations of the preceeding events, though her tone was not entirely unfriendly.
Charlotte Anders, her limp almost completely vanished, though still sporting the cane, moved in from behind the sophmore and stood beside him, scanning the motley assembly briefly from behind her glasses.
"Someone so articulate and seemingly well versed in all things poetic as you must know that the secret to reaping the greatest enjoyment in life is to live dangerously," she said in an effort to lighten Cain's seemingly displeased observation - a bit of fun and tomfoolery is fun now and again, especially when involving colorful lightshows.
As an afterthought: "I think we met once in a hallway. You were carrying unconscious people."
The Junior took a step back then - not too noticeable a step, but one significant enough to remove herself from the center of discussion; she had only sought to add a sudden answer to Cain's rhetoric - his being the only face in the crowd that she vaguely recognised.
The impromptu fireworks, it seemed, had drawn out a fair number of students wanting to witness the spectacle and hullaballoo firsthand. Charlotte herself had skipped the last half of her class (a very un-Charlottey thing to do) along with many of the students present in the room. With a ninety-five percent average in the course, she reasoned, missing half of one class was certainly no proverbial skin off her again proverbial teeth.
Real teeth don't have skin covering them. That's just silly.
Idioms aside, Charlotte supposed her newfound affinity for offering occasional quips and conversation outside telling people less-than-kindly to stop bothering her - usually in a vague way only alluded to through sarcastic note of the offending individual's actions - was the product of her time spent with Leon Loire. His ability to act as an outgoing public speaker was beginning to rub off on her, and she found that she did not mind in the least. As such, she did little else, other than allow her eyes to take in the surrounding persons and her ears set to "extreme-listen".

Alasdair looked at Aryn and helped her out and heard her speak, as he took her hand and got her up "Indeed it is bloody hell....ye aint sure about the fu'k.....ye know....." he said seriously, as he noticed another tall Irish man besides him, he didnt mind an Irish here in fact he was glad he wasnt the only one with a crazy looking accent around yet he knew if this Irish knew who exactly where his racial features well he will probably end up hatting as all those bloody blistering basta'rds back in Dublin, as he only nooded towards the tall Irish man and the women "Well if ye bo'th ain't mind....I'll be on my way.....this whole ruck's is yust too bloody much for my first day of classes ye know......so if ye Sir and Miss an't mind....I will be on my way....b'y d'e way if any of ye happen to see the perpertruator of this even't....congratula'te him for will ye.....so Miss and Sir once again....I take my leave......" as he began to walk outside the crowd faster, incrementing speed, didnt knew if this was even wise or not yet he wanted ot get out of here as soon as possible chaos and violence where on it's way, he could feel it, if what he heard the Irishman heard the last thing he wanted was to be in another crowd, he didnt knew the details yet the half Irish half Scottish colossus wanted to get the hell out of there the soon as possible........

Mae-Lim gave a silent chuckle at August's words, shrugging a little. "Guess yelling isn't my style." she said softly. Her eyes shifted towards Aryn as she introduced herself, giving a nod towards her to indicate she had heard and saying simply "Mae-Lim." Her eyes began to wander about the crowd however at every direction it was the same; excited teens and moving bodies.
When Aryn asked her question, Mae-Lim's attention was brought back to her. Unfortunately, the question slipped her mind as Aryn was knocked over by someone yet again. She looked at the girl with a troubled face as she openly stated her displeasure of being bumped in before accepting the helping hand offered to her. She appologised to them and Mae-Lim only shook her head softly in a manner of saying 'don't worry about it.'
Mae looked towards the one who picked up Aryn, taking in who he was before turning her gaze elsewhere. He had a notable accent, this would be an easy way for her to recognise him, whoever he was, should she cross paths with him again. It seemed to her that he knew both Aryn and August, so she felt a tad bit out of place. No matter, she'd just keep to herself mostly lest she be spoken to or something.
She paid little mind to the other boy with a similar accent as he left the scene, however when a voice to her left caught her ear. She looked back towards Cain in the corner of her eye, before slowly turning her head to take a better look at him. Her face gave off a rather apathetic expression at what he said. Right as he was finished speaking, yet another new voice emerged, though this one turning Mae-Lim's apathetic expression to one of amusement. She took a look at the girl quickly, just to see who she was before shifting her gaze back elsewhere as she usually did, although keeping her attention on the people around her.
So far there was little she felt she could comment on so she remained quiet. Not that it was bad, she was usually more of a listener then anything else anyway.

"Well..." August playfully pondered, satirically rubbing his right hand across his chin, "It certainly would, considering you're a girl, specifically a sharp tongued, soft eyed woman..."
His lips released a grin, and when Aryn introduced herself and asked for names in return, the junior calmly and naturally replied with a shrug, "August Velway, your local bike-toting badass."
Inserting his fingers into his jean pockets, allowing the thumbs to remain exposed and hooked around their respective belt loops, Velway felt a frown pass over him as Aryn threw out the joking idea of her own genius causing the fireworks, and with a pleasant smirk, August threw out his own opinion, "I'd likely toss you up there with the fireworks and let ya hover around them, before catchin' ya on my shoulders and letting you feel tall for it! Mighty good reward for such a show, I'd think."
Velway turned his attention away from the small, crowded group for a moment, keeping his eyes set on the final little sparks and fireworks, before returning his sight down the group, catching the forms of not one, but two Irishmen near each other, one a complete stranger, the other being none other than William Fletcher. The nod returned with a smirk to Will's flip of Aryn, he allowed another shrug to pass over him with his acquaintance's comment, "Yeah, you'd think I'd have taken this as a chance to fuck with old man Harley's office, but I couldn't help but come enjoy the gorgeous view, now could I?"
Yet the remarks that came from the two new strangers left August staggering in reply; the man was acting rather hostile for no real reason, and the girl was tossing in words that honestly confused Velway a bit. He wasn't sure whether to be offended by them or simply laugh, but at that moment, he merely told himself to sweat it off and forget about them. The girl seemed to merely be tossing in her own opinion, anyway.
"I wonder what the good Principal thinks of our little fun...." Velway whispered for his companions to hear, smirking lightly.

Aryn offered a slight smile to Mae as she introduced herself, too, coupling it with a small nod. She had grinned at August as he introduced himself as a bike-toting badass, and couldn't help but make note of it, and by the way she grinned, August would know it was something she liked.
However, her attention was soon drawn to the male student that stepped forwards not long after she'd been knocked down. His words were cool, insinuating insult to be sure. Aryn could have bristled as she very well wanted to do. Instead, she returned the cool stare before hearing a girl from somewhere behind their new 'friend'. She showed a sort of superior intelligence when faced with the boy, and Aryn could only silently applaud the girl as she not only put his words down, but complimented the fact that life was meant to be more exciting, and if it wasn't...then it wasn't life at all. Aryn was a bit disappointed that she'd taken a step back, but nodded to her anyway...
Still, Aryn's intended purpose had been met. It broke the monotony of the school days and gave the students something to enjoy and talk about freely. It was something to ruffle feathers and be noticed, even if the creator wasn't. Still, it held another purpose that Aryn wasn't aware of - or perhaps she was, but she was sure not to like it.
When she felt the hands upon her jeans, Aryn naturally tensed, almost assuming it could have been one of the 'Men in Black' that the Big Bad Wolf had hired, but when she was raised in the air and spun around, she let out a laugh of delight before smirking up at the big Irishman as she was set down. To his question, her smirk settled into a smile that looked harmless enough, but the truth was in her eyes.
Still, she merely shrugged her shoulders, not wanting to necessarily give away that she was indeed the one that set them off. The quips exchanged between Will and August had her grinning quickly, turning with a raised eyebrow to look at the latter.
"I'm sure I could make the view better." It was a flirting and rather cocky statement, but Aryn couldn't resist the opportunity to put her own brand of style into the conversation. She didn't bat her eyes at August, but the grin that faded to a whisper of a smirk would be more than enough to convey her point.
Still, his last point was something she should consider very carefully how to answer, though she did indirectly admit to being the cause of the fireworks. "He probably detests it. I'm still happy, though, it turned out well. This has been the first real 'event' since Stern's...I doubt he's going to be happy as a clam. ...but, of course, I could be wrong..."
She was, of course, thinking of the 'Watchers' as they were known so far. They hadn't really had much action at all, everyone preferring to either obey or keep whatever they were doing extremely quiet.
