OOC(( Hoping to meet up with current school Capitan. Open to anyone else along the way))
Well now, for paragon being full of the most violent children out of both institutes, the students here sure did look upset by his presence.
Damien walked up the front entrance to the main school building, Many Hircine students gathering around and glaring at him as he walked up the front steps. He thought it funny that not long ago he had been going to this school. He hadn't made much of an impact, so his hircine students forgetfulness was to be expected. Nobody remembers you and you show up from a rival school, they don't greet you warmly.
Truth be told Damien didn't much care how they greeted him. He was here only to show that not every paragonian was a violent thug, incapable of anything but pointless brutality. He had, temporarily, taken a short fly below the radar in paragon, since he viewed it as pointless to continue trying to establish himself and his goals while everyone was busy tearing themselves apart. He wasn't shy about stating that he planned to be School Capitan, but he hadn't made as much of a showing of himself as some others. In a school where your anger and muscles ruled, there wasn't much need for people like him.
At least, not at this point in time.
Damien stopped, students standing in front of him, barring his path. He looked around at all the cold stares, the cracking of necks and knuckles, and the removing of coats and shirts. He took out a stick of gum, chewing on it as his preferred habit to smoking. He had the patch on his arm, but sometimes, he just needed a substitute that was more concrete. He cracked his neck as well, staring at the student in front of him.
"Listen fellas, i ain't lookin' for trouble."
He didn't understand why paragon was called the worse of the two schools. These students were obviously doing the same thing the students at paragon were. Then again, Hircine still had they're walls in tact, and there weren't any other brawling students except for the ones he could see who were preparing to tear him limb for limb.
'Welcome back to Hircine High' he thought to himself. He sighed, then prepared himself for the obvious, unavoidable fight that was about to take place.

"Oy but boy, do you know how to fall right into it eh?"
The burned boy would be smirking like mad, and the mood of the larger men blocking the Paragonian student would visibly change. Where there was almost certainly an anger and a confidence, now there was a tinge of anxiety. Dirk was a fading memory but he still held a small bit of power and the guys knew it. The worst part was he was just as like to help them as he was the paragonian.
"Tell you what, we'll play a game. It's called You tell me what you're doing here and I'll decide if we should hurt you. Not much of a title but it makes sure I don't have to explain rules."
There would be a small chuckle from the leader of the last remnants of his Genaht splinter. His left hand reaching up and absentmindedly picking at a scab that was on the side of his head. Obviously a fresh burn wound and just as obviously self inflicted from the looks of the man. He was menacing in his own right, if for nothing else than he was scary as shit to look at.

Damien raised an eyebrow at the fellow who stepped forward. While he didn't look to be the friendliest of sorts, Damien figured you couldn't judge a book by its cover. Then he spoke, and Damien knew.
This guy wasn't the friendliest of sorts.
Damien cracked his neck. Now, while such a position would usually cause someone to have a slightly more revealing disposition, Damien wasn't one to give in to abject threats and posturing of a hard earned fear. He knew that the situation would probably end violently for him if he didn't reveal his plans, but he had absolutely no intention of telling this power-hungry wanna-be anything. So he decided on a simple truth that revealed very little but answered the boys question.
"I'm here to take a look around and see whats changed in the past few weeks that would cause this place to be hated by so many in Paragon. I was trying my best to avoid trouble, though by the looks of things I'm not doing to well."
Damien kept his eyes on the kid who had spoken, the fellows around him waiting patiently for a response from this man who was now absently picking at an obviously self-inflicted wound. Damien took his hands from his pockets and left them at his side should they be needed as he waited for a reply.

(OOC: Wow, feelin' terrible for missing this. PM me next time you want me in a thread.)
"Oh Dirk, it's all fun and games til someone loses an eye, right? Oh wait, wrong gang. That was Dean. I guess a more relevant quip would be something along the lines of 'keep your mouth shut', but that would just be rude."
Since becomming School Captain, Hircine High had very little problems. Scratch that, no problems whatsoever. As much as Kyukaku would like to acredit himself to that, he had to admit he had really done a thing. It seemed with Paragon around things at Hircine High were at an all time quiet, perhaps dating back to pre-Varron Darren Captainship. While Kyu wasn't one to complain about not having someone after his neck for once he couldn't help but feel...unsatisfied.
Kyukaku didn't become School Captain because he wanted a fancy title, political power, or a more colorful resume. No, Kyu thought of the job as a public service. The all time goal of a School Captain should be to create an environment where there doesn't need to be a School Captain. However, the fact Kyu had done little to nil to accomplish this haven made him feel somewhat useless. If Hircine High didn't need his help, it was damned sure that there was somewhere else in dire need of it.
After letting his sense of humor soak in towards Dirk for a moment, Kyukaku turned his gaze to the student who was unfamiliar to him, though that was no surprise. Kyukaku couldn't remember all the faces in the school. How some students could pinpoint between a Paragon student and Hircine one boggled the mind sometimes.
"Don't worry, there shouldn't be trouble of any kind. I'd like to think Hircine is a little more welcoming than Paragon. Right, Dirkster?"

OOC((my apologies))
Ah, now here was the man he wanted to meet.
He looked around at all the people who gave looks of deeper respect for the man who just approached, then smiled as they backed away. No doubt about it. This was the Capitan of Hircine High. Damien placed his hands in his pockets once more, staring at the "SC" with the small smile still on his face. He didn't bother waiting for "Dirkster" To continue, but instead he just went right on as though the boy didn't exist.
"Well, i was hoping so too. Then again, with recent events, i cant really blame the students here for being a little on edge." He stepped foreword till he was within arms distance of the guy, then offered his hand for a shake.
"Names Damien Blaze." He grinned. "I'm the soon-to-be School Capitan of Paragon." Well, now, this would get one of three reactions from the people. Raised eyebrows and wonder at such a claim, or laughs and disbelief, especially since the word around paragon was that another student almost had the title clinched.
The third would be aggression, since taking down someone who planned on becoming the capitan of a rival school could possibly help the current school settle down on problems with them, though nothing could be further from the truth.
'Lets see how this goes.' He thought warily.
He hated school politics.

"You, Captain of Paragon?"
Dirk couldn't help but laugh at this point, this scared little rabbit claiming he'd be able to withstand such a post? Was Vince actually doing a job? No, that couldn't be, he knew exactly what he was up to, he was in the same boat as Dirk.
"So does the Hey, fellas, I'm not looking for trouble routine actually fly there? Or are you just trying to get on Kachu's good side? Because boy, you don't have the mind nor the strength and without both you wont be holding a damned thing."
Dirk was hardly impressed with this claimant to the Paragon throne, hell if Tyler wasn't already here he was sure he'd be on the way to beating the fool boy, but he wasn't fool enough to do so yet.
The phone in the boys pocket would conveniently let out a loud vibration, a moment later it was pulled out, afew buttons clacking as they were pushed and it was back into his pocket. A leader needed constant communication with those he lead after all.
Especially if there was something he wanted done.

Kyukaku returned the gesture, extending his right hand as Damien Blaze introduced himself. Raising an eyebrow at the ambitious claim of Paragon Captain, Kyu hesitated in introducing himself. Luckily, Damien already knew who he was, for Dirk cut back in before Kyu had a chance to do so. While Kyu himself had some doubts about the claim, Dirk seemed to rush in that direction, flat out shutting him down.
"I'm sorry Dirk," Kyukaku said, tilting his head in Dirk's direction with a puzzled look on his face.
"Have you known this guy long? You must, cause I thought Genaht had a thing about making early assumptions. Although-" Kyu turned his head towards Damien before continuing.
"He does have a valid point. You can't really hold Captainship by being passive. You'll have your work cut out for you cause hell, I'm sure it'll be a lot harder than it is here."

Damien turned his head and stared at dirk as Kyu spoke, watching the boy with an amused smile on your face. He was no coward, he was just honest-he wasn't looking for trouble. Just because you went to a school where violence reigned supreme didn't mean you had to partake in it, or let it consume you. No, Damien was not fool, he knew the risks of what he planned. Neither of these two had any idea of who he was, what he was capable of. Because he went to paragon, everyone seemed to just "assume" you had to be aggressive, and because he claimed to be the Capitan of said school soon, he was questioned because he wasn't violent.
He spoke, deciding that, since the fool who had first approached him understood very little of him and made very quick assumptions to his abilities, he would simply show no regard for what he had said. He shook his head and turned to look back at Kyu.
"I never claimed that i was Capitan. I simply said i would be Capitan soon." He placed his hands in his pockets and stared at the Hircine leader. Truth be told, he had never seen the guy fight, but in order to reign supreme over the student body at this place as well as be the tournament champion, you had to be good. The other boy was nothing. While he was aggressive and quick to judge, Damien didn't still underestimate his ability in combat. Thats what separated him from the kid.
"And as for being passive, I'm far from. I'm smart, and i pick my battles." It was true, as of late. Damien had done more fighting then he intended, since that what people reacted to. He was living in relative peace as of late, however, since he had decided to lay low and fly under the radar. That time, however, was coming to a quick close.
He liked this Capitan. He was smarter than the other boy by far, and knew never to make quick, false accusations or assumptions. He could grow to like him. He looked over his shoulder, then back to Kyu. "Care to take a walk?" He flicked his gaze to the other boy before returning it to Kyu. "Preferably alone." The things he intended were for no other ears but his and the Capitan's, and this kid was certainly not invited. Kyu would find it worth his time, should he accept. Should he decline, Damien would smile, then nod as he gave his goodbye, turning and walking through the crowd and out the doors.
He hoped for a solid answer, and also hoped that Kyu had the foresight to see that, even if he didn't end up Capitan, his friendship may prove valuable in the future.
He looked down at his watch.
He had wasted far too much time here already.

"Hmmm let me see."
Dirk would run his fingers over his lips, then pull up his sleeves as much as possible, obviously checking two things a different person had at one point of time. It would be painfully obvious to Tyler, though perhaps not so to Damien.
"Nope, not Ein, So I'm free to think what I wish and not be tormented in half by two different thoughts."
The cruel eyes would turn back to Damien, a mischievous grin running over his face as he did. The boy was a fool, you couldn't claim you would be captain soon when you had no decent handling and even less so without backers.
"You're less likely than old Vincey boy, and I hear he gets his arse kicked all around. You'll be something soon I'm sure, but it won't be Captain of all Paragon. Maybe it's shower room though." Dirk would smile more and shrug, turning to Tyler and nodding. His mind working behind the veil of arrogance and haste. Who was more dangerous, the man that acted rashly, or the one that made it appear so?
"Well, your call, M'lord. But you go trying to conspire with every nothing that comes wandering into your halls from Paragon wanting some power and you'll be working with lots and lots of different people."
Dirk would laugh abit then turn to make his leave. His voice ringing out harshly once more, just after he took the first step.
"Well I'll leave you alone with Captain of the Dropped Soap Showers, he seems like he wants it abit much."

Damien listened to every word he said, nothing but calm on his face. The boy sure did talk big with thirty at his back. He didn't think the kid could do more than spout off at the mouth. He seemed to think to spur Damien into rash actions with pathetic taunts and insults, but truth be told, it was nothing his slightly younger brother hadn't said out of anger or jealousy, and he just gave the same reaction he would have given him- He laughed.
"Man, you are desperate for attention. I'll tell you what, while you go find someone else to throw your rather feeble insults at, I'm going to go ahead and talk with the obviously-just-disrespected school captain here. But don't worry, boy-" He gave a small grin. "-I'll be seeing you again soon." He half expected the kid to turn around and offer some flippant gay joke again. In which case Damien would only stare and keep the small grin.
He was going to find this kid, when it would be just the two of them, and break him.
He tucked the now memorized face of the boy away.
On to serious matters.
"Well, i hold no bearing as to what you choose. For all his talking he was right about one thing- you cant go conspiring with every nothing that comes to you for attention. I guess you'll just have to use your own judgment as to whether I'm worth you time. Either way, doesn't matter to me. I just figured things would be made easier and less...complicated, this way." He tucked his hands, which he had taken out to crack the knuckles of, back into his pockets and waited for the verdict as the crowd dispersed.

(OOC: Sorry for the late reply, my laptops been a bitch lately.)
The new School Captain watched as Dirk ran his fingers over his lips and pulled up his sleeve. Unknown to Damien most likely, he distinguished the two most noticeable things about former student Ein Gilsin. The three burn marks signalling Genaht and the infamous, and ever creepy, stitched lips. Soon after, he turned his attention back to Damien as he continued speaking.
...I know...I never said you already claimed to be captain...
Kyukaku cocked his eyebrow, briefly wondering where that altercation had come from. He kept the response to himself, however, finding it unnecessary to correct him. Instead, he was about to open his mouth in response to the boy's request, had he not been interrupted by Dirk.
Had Kyu not already had an answer in mind, Dirk's input wouldn't have held any worth over the decision as it was. Even if what Dirk said was true and Damien was a nothing, didn't mean it would stay that way. When first starting at Varron, and quite some time after, Kyukaku rarely made the radar himself. Idealistic and outspoken yes, but didn't register to the bigger names at the time. The Stern Masons, Ein Gilsins, and Taiku Akimotos; none of them thought much of Kyukaku...at first. For one reason or another, that all has changed.
"Thanks, but I'm capable of making a decision on my own." Kyukaku stated with a hint of aggravation, leaving his gaze on Dirk a moment, but briefly turning it towards Damien as well.
"I always hear everyone out. What do you want to say?"

Damien nodded with his head for Kyu to follow him, intent on making his way out the front doors. After exiting, he would stand outside, the walkway they were at completely empty. He turned to Kyu and gave a nod and an easy breath.
"Thanks for hearing me out." He placed his hands in his pockets.
"Okay, to the heart of things. I plan on being School Capitan. Ive not been in the thick of things, since Ive been opting to stay out of the conflicts until real threats arose that could take hold of the title i seek. Now that the time has come, I'm ready to bring myself out of hiding and make it known that the title is mine. How i plan to do this will be kept to myself. The reason i wish to speak with you is this. I would like to make a secret pact between me and you. Captain and Captain. Our schools hate one another. I don't have much of a following, and, lets face it, neither do you. While your well liked, i know that there are...certain people in your school who don't approve, and have the value of numbers. It's the same in my school. Eventually, those students in both schools will go to war with one another. Without a stable following, neither of us is going to get very far."
He smiled.
"While its true that you have no reason to stake your name to such a pact, i plan on meeting with you again to prove my ability, and my sincerity. Should the Captains of Paragon and Hircine unite, i think we can stem the tide of the war that is sure to come. While you both said, in simple terms, that i have no backbone, and that I'm passive, i disagree. I have the ability and the intelligence to run the student body of Paragon Institute. Whether you believe that to be true or not will be proven soon enough."
"Here is my offer. Should i become Captain of Paragon, would you be willing to have a peace, a pact, between us. Should you agree, you wont see me again until the title is mine. Should you never see me again, then you will know that i have failed, and any such pact would then be void. It will be kept with me, spoken to no others, as it should be with you." His face was expressionless, offering nothing other than the words he spoke.
"You do not need to accept now. You may think on it, and, as i said, we will speak again when i become Capitan. Think well! This opportunity and offer will only come once, and the benefits will be great! Should you decline, i will leave you to your own workings, and we can try our best on our own."
He frowned.
"Should you turn against me...Well, we wont go down that unpleasant road." It wasn't a threat, more like a thought, a notice that it wouldn't be pretty for either side should his offer be turned against him.
"We can help each other, Kyukaku. We can end this war before it even begins. What do you say?"
His offer finished, he went silent, eyes intently staring at the Hircine Captain. He was dead serious in all his offers, and was not trying to pull any strings, or slip through any loopholes. The only reason he had gone to Paragon was to help reform the students there, to make it a better place. To do that, he would need the help of this man. It would save bloodshed, as well and harm from each other.
He wondered if his offer was rejected, what he would do then. He had a plan, but it wasn't one he liked. He would just have to put faith in the stories of the man before him. If they proved false, then it wouldn't matter if he liked the other way or not.
War between the schools was close.
Their time was short.

"Not to burst your bubble, but the fact Seth Calloway has a following as well doesn't diminish the one I have, even if its overshadowed. Which I assume was what you were referring."
Besides the one interruption, Kyukaku remained quiet as Damien spoke. It was more of a monologue than the conversation, and it wasn't hard for Kyu to predict most of the words before they rolled off Damien's tongue. The more he spoke, the more it seemed that he was trying to sell the Hircine Captain on an idea that he was already partial to. Regardless, Kyu let the boy finished, not speaking until Damien offered the final question.
"I never insinuated you had no backbone. I have no knowledge of your capabilities, and I didn't assume them either. Not to be cold, but I make no assumptions are your abilities to become Captain, either. However, this is what makes your idea very doable." Kyukaku paused, nodding his head slightly.
"Even though I don't know you very well, I'd like to help you as much as I could. But as the Captain of this school now I have to keep focused on Hircine first and foremost, especially with Calloway breathing down my neck. If I stretch myself to thin too early, it could be the end for both of us. Attain Paragon Captainship though...and you got yourself an alliance."
