OKay, so my compy recently died and got fixed. It had Windows SP2 before, but my uncle, when fixing it, installed SP3. I don't know if SP3 is the source of the problems. But anyway, the problems are... -Firefox can't access sites such as Yahoo!, Google, OneManga, or Facebook. Occasionally, these sites might come up, but clicking stuff or typing forms in takes "forever" to load (meaning it doesn't load). -IE can't use these sites at all. -My Automatic Updates always reads "off," but when I go to Control Panel, Systems, and look for it manually, it always says "on." Also, I can't turn it "on" in the main menu. -Crazy pop-ups. I didn't have ANY pop-ups before. So yeah, anyone have solutions?

It doesn't sound like it's SP3 that's causing the problem if you actually have weird pop ups now... that sounds more like spam that got into your computer. I don't know what kind of virus scanner you have and what kind of other protection, but I suggest you download some free spam killers and the likes and scan your computer... otherwise god has blessed us with the format all option...

Maybe you should reconsider reformatting the computer? It might just be that something didn't install right from the beginning, and your computer needs to reboot.
I wish I could be of better help. I'm not much of an expert in the IT field.
