Stella needed some time away from everything. As a new person at Hircine, it was hard enough to try and find where she belonged. as the day went on, her hopes began to trickle little by little. as she went to her classes, majority of the people there weren't paying attention. there was even a case when 3 students caused a fight. i don't fit in. i thought i didn't fit in at my old school. here, i feel even further away. at her old school, where the rich and snotty attended, Stella caused the smallest fight possible and she was expelled. here, fights that she could never even dream of causing were happening everyday. before, she was an outcast for being too wild. now, she was an outcast for being too goody.
the day was only halfway done when it felt like 3 days should be over with. Stella trudged along unwanting to deal with another class of being quiet in the back of the room again. it was driving her crazy. so, she went in search for solitude, at least for a while.
Stella was curious for the school's format and planning. she kind of just entered doors and if it were a classroom, she'd just say "sorry, trying to find my ____ class". she was getting so desperate, she would've taken a closet for some peace. however, she didn't need a closet.
one of the rooms she happened to encounter wasn't really a room. it led to a stairway, which intregued Stella. there was no way it led to a class, and with that in mind, she went up without hesitation. it took several flights, but finally, she found her way to the roof of Hircine High School.
Stella looked down. Then she looked around. no one. solitude. above her head was a clear sky that looked more than happy to welcome Stella to a sanctuary for the moment. Leaning against one of the sides of the roof, Stella sat down and opened her bookbag and grabbed a murder mystery book she was reading. opening to the page she last left off at, she began reading the words. after one page, she looked around. she didn't see anyone. in a way, she was happy. but she felt lonesome. at least in her old school, people talked to her. here at a new school that didn't know she existed, she was alone. it wasn't that comforting.
