There was a wide smirk on Dirk's face. He had convinced a group of almost punker Varronites that some Hircine were insulting their Political standings. Personally, Dirk didn't like their idea's either, but his own conflicts were irrelevant when he could get other's into Conflict.
It wasn't long before the Varronites were arguing with the Hircine. Only afew more seconds later the Varronites were resorting to persausion via the fist. The fight would be only a small brawl, just about three on three, without Dirk of course. Still it was only so long before he could feel the Pain of the fight pulling him in. It was like a fire, it was almost as if his brandings were burning to be thrown into the conflict.
Dirk only could resist afew moments longer before throwing himself into the fray. Fighting Hircine and Varronite alike while they both were completely confused by his intervention. A swift forearm to the nose of one Hircine launched him backwards and fell him quickly. Dirk's fist quickly slammed into the wrist of a Varronite, then the other struck the Transfer across the face hard. He went down with a grunt and a yell of pain.
Dirk went on in such a fashion untill the lead Varronite was the only one standing besides himself. Dirk wore an evergrowing and highly irksome grin while the Varronite had a confused look.
The Transfer screamed, "I THOUGHT YOU WERE ON OUR SIDE! WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
Dirk only chuckled and spoke back quickly, with a delightful hint of malice in his voice. "I'm only on the side of fight. I don't much care for either side. I only want them to hate eachother and fight constantly. Lets tear the world asunder, Conflict and Pain are required!"
The punker was obviously confused but still highly irrated. He rushed at Dirk and threw a punch. To his astonishment the lithe boy didn't move, he only slid his leg down deflected the blow around his back with his left hand and threw his right forearm into the face of the charging boy.
Dirk would stumble back from the momentum, just about falling but catching himself at the last second. The punker would fall back on his arse, his nose bleeding profusely and his mind swimming in a haze.
Dirk wasn't finished, he would kick the downed student over, grab his right arm and begin to push it upwards with one of his boots on the other's back. He knew the arm could only go up from this position so far, before popping rather painfully from the socket. Dirk pushed and pushed with all his might untill that loud and sickening pop occured. He'd then walk over the boy's back and survey his carnage.
"My, what a grand bit of Conflict. Now if I can keep this up I'll have them at each other's throats....oh yes. There will be so much pain it will be wonderous."

(If this is open or not please tell me)
He calculated, And dated everytime that Hircine and Varronite feuds would increase. He knew, because the gears of war were beginning to slowly turn. This day particularly, felt different then the others. Deep inside something was going to happen this day. Walking down the narrow and unfriendly halls of Hircine High, he heard sounds of a scuffle. His walking pace increased as soon as the sounds grew closer. His walking then became running. As soon as he was closing to a stairwell, he immediatly jumped and ignored the steps and landed safely onto the ground. He repeated this with the last flight of stairs. Soon he was on the ground floor of Hircine high. Then, the sounds of fighting grew louder. He ran down the last hall and found the fight. It was a group of Varronites and Hircinians exchanging fists with each other. However, this seemed odd. The fighting seemed to be more intense then before. But then he noticed an individual in the middle of it all. Was he the ring leader? HE would get answers right now. However one of the three hircinians were coming toward him. "I have no time for you..." He said, Making his foot connect with the Hircinians Chin. The stunned Hircinnian grabbed his chin and yelled. "Goddamn it!" The student yelled. Raphael decided to make his suffering end. HE lifted himself into a jump and spinned at 180 degree's, performing a spin kick, which connected with the Hircinians left cheek. And he simply watched him spin to the ground, and hearing him moan. Now it was simply three on two, plus one. Raphael stopped in front of them and simply spoke these words. "Who started it?"

Why Raphael thought he would get an answer in the middle of a fight was anyone's guess and soon the end result was the same. With Dirk standing and all other's excluding Raphael, on the ground writhing in pain. Dirk wore a very happy smirk, one that was almost so joyous as to be irritating.
Dirk figured he would give the boy his answer, since he seemed like he still wanted it. There was certainly something wrong about Dirk as he moved casually to the other boy, obsessively tightening the buckles on his sleeves and chest. The wind would flare soon after, lifting much of his hair and revealing the twisting self induced brands on his neck and the sides of his head.
"Well if you wait for them to get up, one side will tell you the other started it and the other will tell you the one side started it. So I should think both parties are at fault, but that's generally how Conflict works..."

His eyes were focused more on Dirk, before he heard the call of the watchen known as Kai. His head looked into the general direct of where he was walking to. He saw the wave, and returned it to. When he heard the request to get the wounded out of here, he was worried. "Are you sure you can handle this guy alone?" He said to Kai as he walked closely to him. But he stopped to think, and then nodded to Kai. "I understand..." He said. He then began to group up the injured. The two sides were to injured and in pain to fight about what they were by. He then orderd them to quickly move toward the right hall and head for the infirmary. He was behind them ushering them, He even had one hunched over his Shoulder. He stopped and looked back at Kai and spoke. "Becareful...This kid is different then the others..." He said and turned back and ran back to leading the wounded to the infirmary. That Dirk...there...is something dark about him...

Dirk took a quick step back from Raphael and set his eyes upon the burned man at the top of the stairs as he spoke. For all the malice and righteousness in his voice and movements, Dirk only focused on the burns. He found them intersting and with a certain beauty. It was Fire's Mark in a raw and unbridledly harsh form. Dirk loved it, only breifly listening to the threats and not caring even slightly about the many flashes of the ring as if it were some badge.
He listened a little more intently as the man came closer and spoke directly to me. Did he honestly beleive the act of dislocating the arm was fun? The exertion certainly wasn't pleasing but what it represented. Perhaps that wasn't apparant.
"I didn't care to pop his arm, but it was something I was simply Burning to do."
Dirk smirked slightly, the burns were something these two shared. Though while Dirk was loving of his, perhaps Kai was self concious. Perhaps he would take the small quip as an aggression.
"But honestly, I didn't much care to hurt them. I only wanted them to be hurt. Perhaps that makes sense to you. After all you try to stop conflict by creating Conflict. But enough about that, I must ask about the burns. How did they get there? Was it a bitter or sweet experience? Should you like more? I'm always adding to mine...."
Dirk loosened a buckle on his sleeve and pulled up the material to reveal the twisting and almost writhing designs burned into his flesh. It might be disturbing to Kai to find someone that did to himself what had happened through misfortune to him.

"Sweet Jesus, you like to bitch don't you?"
Kurtz arrived at the scene, an inevitable possibility for any fight on school grounds. He was thought by the size of it it may be an actual threat, but no, it was just some teen-aged punk who couldn't get his act together. After his meeting with Kvist, he was starting to think most of dangerous students were like this. This one just particularly annoyed him though. He was the kind of person that caused everyone Kurtz's age to get slack, the idiot so immature they can't even deal with the world around them, always causing everyone who actually does have thier act together trouble.
"Let me guess, it's something along the lines of "Look at me, I'm a tortured soul, a inflict physical pain on others and myself to mask the source of it as mental anguish rather than the fact it's just my own personal insecurities. I'll then put on a farce of intellectual thought so people think I'm intelligent while I do it."
Kurtz danced with light movements as he spoke, clearly disrespecting Dirk in the most socially embarrassing way possible. He quickly straightened up though, as much as one a laid back as Kurtz could get, before pointing back at him again.
"Seriously though, the students at Hircine tend to do their homework. Your not fooling anyone, the only thing that happened here was one dumbass got another bunch of dumbasses excited and caused a bunch of trouble. This "conflict" your F-ed up mind is hoping for isn't going to happen....well, at least not with you at the reigns."
Kurtz then advanced, and slowly pulled down on his jackets zipper. He pulled at his collars as he did so, giving his neck room to breath freely. He didn't remove the much farther than to do this though....he didn't need his best maneuverability in this situation. He then turned to the wanna be hero of the situation. Kurtz knew his intentions were honest enough, but the only person who gave orders in Hircine were the Pillars, and this one looked knew to him.
"You shouldn't really try and talk sense to somebody as dumb as bricks, it's about as easy a yelling down a brick wall."
Kurtz stopped as he got closer to the child now, effectively getting closer than the hero, just so he knew how this would work. Kurtz would have it easier doing this alone....it would actually be easier if the kid switched sides, so he would know that the kids actions would be limited to getting his ass kicked. Sometimes knowing a bad thing was better than ignorance. He turned back to the instigator now, as whatever was going to happen would happen very soon.
"OK, I'm giving you a choice. You can go to the consoler and whine about your feeling there, who will pretty much tell you to get over your bitch angst and grow up, or I could beat it into you right here. If you have any brains you'll have an answer in about two seconds."

Post by nedzad on Mar 13, 2007 2:51:21 GMT 1
The day was passing by slowly... very slowly in fact. Classes passed on, students found excuses to escape their teachers, and cliques found reason to haunt the hallsways. Nedzad Ivo Advic, however, had a "legitimate" excuse to be outside the classroom: a "bathroom" break.
It wasn't necessarily to answer the call of nature; it was, on the contrary, to answer curiosity. Commotion had been hurt from the sidewalks outdoors, and of course the latest rise to power from an old employee demanded that Advic investigate.
Passing by no one special in particular on his way to the outside exits, Nedzad began to hear the sounds of a minor spar grow louder, and louder, as yells of betrayal and confusion roared forward, and soon a crack that vibrated through the halls. Finding a side door that led outside, Nedzad slowly examined the tiny rectangle window that allowed for limited view, and witnessed the signs of a three-way battle, with the two larger sides both on the earth in pain.
Interesting. Nedzad pondered curiously, his own mental processes slowly mediating his own soul's voice. The bodies were the same to Advic, probably a mix of Hircinans and Varronites, arching their torsos and limbs to excrete the agony from their minds, the pain... the pain...
Finally, another student arrived and seemed to hover at the edge of the minor skirmish, and the surviving assailant - a strange, dark form of red and worn flesh, buckles and grins - began to toy with him. Soon another figure arrived, this one with a strange aura of false power, and seemed to object a glistening metal band about his finger as if it carried the power of Kings. Words were shared between the two arrivals, and the first collected the wounded and led them as shepards toward the door Nedzad stood behind, while the second remained behind.
Hiding behind a nearby corner, Advic waited for the first student and his convoy to pass down the opposing hall, before returning to the door and exiting out toward the two confronting figures. The only words that had been traded that Nedzad heard were referenced to this second arrival's supposed influence due to his following of the school's Student Dean - a former Varronite who now served the school that oppressed them. His ego was a bit amusing, and his attitude seemed to make it clear that he thought himself superior to the assailant.
Yet upon Nedzad's arrival a new figure arose - a dangerous and truly powerful one, a student that, unlike the second arrival, actually had influence in the school. It seemed to be none other than Kurtz, one of the school's Pillars.
Pah! Wonderful, now I can't get to the assailant myself! This ruins my chance to test him! Advic thought to himself, standing at the edge of the door, glaring at the back of the local authority with frustration. Nedzad knew nothing of either of the three men, but he knew the poser of power and the true holder of power were already slaves of other masters; this third one was a rogue, a man of conflict, and such an ally could prove useful in a school that Shamino Warhen oversaw with potential.
I'll need to buy that student some time.
Strolling forward, Nedzad grinned at the thought of what this Pillar intended to follow toward, as his words were clearly attempting to break down the man of conflict; the only option to truly distract him was a moralistic one.
Stepping beside the Pillar and waiting quickly tapping his shoulder, Advic waited for the Pillar's attention - if given at all; Nedzad expected some sort of arrogant reply - and pointed toward the door. "Mr. Kurtz sir, I'm not sure you can trust that other person to keep those six in line. How could someone such as he prevent six Hircinians and Varronites with friends and allies to keep their peace? Surely six aggressors is a more dangerous threat than one man?"
Why am I helping this fool again? Oh yes, for Warhen... in the end, it's 'always' for Warhen.

More and more decided to join his little conflict. It was surprising the amount of response he got from one rather small fight, there was so much resistance. It was obvious Dirk wasn't likely to win, but that was such a minor thing. The more people that gathered the more likely they were to have differences, differences that in this heated situation could very well turn to aggression.
"If I don't create a large conflict, which I don't imagine I'm entirely able to do, that is of little consquence. From what I can tell however, it would be you Kurtz that might stir up the school with some scheme. Though I suppose it isn't my place to suggest such a thing."
Dirk's grin widened as he took a step back. He knew he was in a losing position. It seemed likely that one or both of the "peacemakers" was going to strike soon and he didn't want to be in very close range for either. His booted feet would come to rest almost entirely on their balls, he knew there would be a strike coming soon and was ready to avoid it.
"As for the choice you are giving, I will let you make the decision as I've no intent on seeing some type of psychiatrist that will only perscribe me some pill to numb thought."
Of course, by the time he was saying this another student was jumping in and speaking. Dirk would listen slightly, keeping most of his attention on the pair of aggressors infront of him, but what he heard was surprising. This man almost seemed to be buying him time. An ally appearing at an odd yet beneficial time. The catalysts seemed to be in place, it was just a matter of waiting for the reaction at this point.

"See, right there, that's the kind of bitching I was talking about!"
Kurtz continued to try and talk some sort of benefit to the aggressor. He batted aside that tapped his shoulder, as whoever it was obviously wasn't important. Important people didn't have to make physical contact to get attention from others, they merely announced their presence once and got all the eyes on the room on them.. Since no one seemed particularly worried about whoever it was, neither should he.
"It's the school consoler, not some bureaucrat down at the loony bin. They can't even prescribe pills, and their days are so busy with telling have to student body how to get into college and the other half's parents that their child gets bad grades because they're lazy idiots that anyone talking to them at all is a welcome break. That response wasn't even cynical, it was just depressing."
~Maybe he should see someone who can give out pills though, as someone who has this much trouble paying attention has to have ADD.~
Kurtz bit his tongue to keep the sarcasm contained. He really disliked this sort of person...they were just depressing. Not thought provoking, not insightful, not enlightening, just outright depressing. For someone who always considered a bad position a challenge, such pessimistic thinking just didn't make sense. Instead of becoming angry like most defiant students eventually got him, he just kept getting frustrated. He just wanted this over.
"OK, never mind, you not going to seek help, at least not with that attitude. Tell you what, I'll let it slide this time if you just cheer the hell up for a few days.
Kurtz brought the hand that dismissed the tapping and brought it back to his face. He squeezed the top of his nose and rubbed, his brow almost frowning with the headache he was getting.
~Why did I have to be the nearest one....I hate dealing with this sort of thing....it's so much funnier when it's Darren who has to put up with it.~

Cheer up?
Dirk seemed he was perfectly amused at this moment, perhaps the wide grin wasn't cheery enough for the Pillar. It was an odd thing that the other man gave up so easily, and without too much reason. Still he wasn't about to scoff at the offer, after all the odds weren't in his favor.
"Then it slides..."
Dirk couldn't help but give a slightly laugh and take a few steps back. He wasn't going to stay, that much was certain. He knew better than to hang around, he just wanted to leave somewhat slowly and still be in earshot for some things that were going to be said.
