She was swimming in something that seemed to be ink, or at least it HAD to be ink, it was too dark to be water and too liquid to be oil??? Whatever, it surely was ink.
The sun was shinning over her head and everything seem to be ok, except for the ink sea, but really, who cared about it? She kept swimming, the shore was near now and she could see an enormous shell standing on some kind of pillar. On the shell was a black pearl, nacreous as all the pearls should be. She was close to reach it, just a little bit more now, a few inches...
"Araxie!!! You are already late!!!"
-Aaaaahhh!!!!
The girl fell from her bed and her mother just stood there, watching at her daughter laying on the floor now, trying hard not to laugh.
"Ah... yes... uhm... hunny... you are late..."
Araxie looked at her from the floor while she took a hand up to her head.
-Yes mother... thank you very much for the information... auch...
Finally, she managed to get up. Her mother had already left the room. The girl looked at the clock: 7:20.
-What the hell!!!
She ran outside her room and almost threw her brother to the floor. Tim was already dressed and ready to go down to finish his breakfast, but with his little sister running through the hall and having his orange juice spilled all over his new shirt, he had to go inside his room again to change
"Watch it you spider!!!"
Araxie just frowned and got into the bathroom. The steam began to fill the room, which meant she had already got into the shower.
After 20 minutes, she got out from the shower and ran again into her room. Inside, she grabbed the first thing she found in the closet, which was her old denim's, a black shirt with some pink letters in the front. She put them on and ran downstairs, almost falling again in her attempt of grabbing her shoes on her way down to the kitchen.
Sitting there, calmly, finishing his toast was her brother. Her mother was having a great fight with the pan and her father was just reading the newspaper.
"Already late hun... I'll drive you kids down to the school"
Araxie just nodded and tried not to die from sofocation as she just grabbed one of the toasts left on the table and almost swallowed it instead of actually chewing it. Her brother chuckled and got up from the table
"Come on spider... we are going to be late because of you... as always... Good bye mom!"
The girl ran to give her mother a kiss and then followed her brother and father outside to the car.
Tim and Michael were on the front, Araxie in the back, just looking around her new neighborhood as they drove through the streets and to Hircine High
"Dad, is it true they have a corporal punishment system?"
Araxie now turned to see her brother and then turned to her father, waiting for the answer. She had heard about that system but had never really seen or experienced it.
"Yes Tim... they actually do... but I don't see why you guys should... experience it, right?"
Tim blinked and remained silent, then just turned to look away and sighed
"Yeah... you are right"
Araxie raised a brow. What was wrong with her brother? They definetely had nothing to worry about... did they? She sighed too and placed her back completely against the seat and looked outside the window, just like Tim.
After a somewhat short trip, the siblings came out from the red van. Their father wished them a good day and drove off from the school door. Araxie looked around and as she had thought before, there were many other boys and girl about her age, after all, it was a high school.
"Come on spider... we have to get our schedules"
Time grabbed his sister by the shoulder and pushed her to the front. Araxie walked to were he pointed her and after walking through the halls they didn't know, they finally found the principals office. There, the secretary would give them their sheets. They thanked her and then proceed to their respective classes... or at least Tim did, as Araxie's teacher seemed to be missing by some strange reason.
"Alright spidey... I'll see you right here at 3 o'clock, k?... Ta ta"
He was already walking away to his class, so he last phrase was more like a yell. Araxie watched her brother walking away and sighed.
-Oh well... now what?
She walked through the now empty halls and outside to the school grounds. Not many students remained there now. The girl sighed again as she looked around. There was an empty bench she could sit on until her next period began.
Araxie left her bag on the ground, took the mp3 player out and was ready to watch people walk by as she sat there, just waiting

Ein had made it a habit to make sure his classes were spaced apart, empty periods inbetween. The counsler didn't seem to like the idea, perhaps even less so looking over his transfer file but Ein had convinced her that it wasn't too bad. More importantly with the rumors that he was to be a pillar soon floating around.
Still the day had been a dull one, there were afew that had almost started a fight not much earlier, but Ein's prescence and harsh words soon deterred them from it, atleast for that given moment. The school was indeed much peaceful than Varron was and overall it left Ein wanting.....
His mind took over, spinning through thought as the tall black tower of a man continued his rounds. The halls were empty and even the outer grounds seemed almost utterly devoid of any humanoid life untill the eyes passed over a single female. Ein's eyes would pass over her twice before he blinked and came out of thought to recognize who it was.
There was a soft frown, but the girl didn't seem the type to fight. In which case there was a small need to give warning. The heavy boots thudded on the lush grass as Ein took shortcuts between the walkways. He would stand infront of her quietly and wait until she removed her headphones to speak.
"I would not reccomend staying out between periods further, unless you are capable of handling yourself..."

Araxie had her eyes closed by now and was just moving her feet with the music as she sang along the tune
-...everyday I love you less and less...
She was very into her music until she noticed something or someone was covering her from the sun. Araxie opened her eyes and saw this tall guy all dressed in black standing right in front of her.
She couldn't properly see his face, as the sunlight was coming right from behind him and even if she could, there was no way for her to recognize who he was, but if he was standing there it was because he obviously had a good reason to do so, therefore, she removed the headphones from her ears.
-Hi...
"I would not reccomend staying out between periods further, unless you are capable of handling yourself..."
Araxie raised a brow. It definetely was the weirdest welcome she had had in all her life.
The girl narrowed her eyes a bit and tried to get a glimpse of his face: white skin, long brown hair and what seemed to be green eyes behind the hair... Yup, definitely she had no idea of who he was.
-Ah... thanx... I'll keep it in mind... ah... sorry, what's your name?
She wanted to thank him properly, but as he didn't know his name, she couldn't do that.
-I'm Araxie, by the way
Araxie smiled at him and hoped he would introduce himself too. She had no idea of how people behave here, and maybe he could get a little bit angry with her question but maybe he would get a lot more angry when he heard what she was just about to say
-Are you busy right now?... if not... would you mind if I asked you to keep me company?... I mean, just until my next class begins...
She twitched her lips and waited, really really wishing for him not to get too mad at her

OOC:Sorry for the delay. Completely my fault.
"I would be Ein."
Ein's eyes held the female student's harshly. It was obvious he wasn't the most typical of people and more so that he wasn't an entirely kind individual. Still there must be something decent within him for him to give such a warning.
Ein would stand quietly as she announced her name and asked if he would stay. Mentally he sighed, it wasn't the purpose he had originally stood before her for, but considering what he had said he was obligated. Such a harsh warning deserved some reinforcing action.
"Very well, though I apologize for startling you. I would imagine you are new otherwise you wouldn't have seemed so confused at my words. There is simply a rivalry between the old students and new transfers from Varron. More often than not, all new transfers are labelled Varronites. It isn't a pleasant thing."
Ein would move as he spoke. His body standing next to the girl on the bench instead of infront of her. He was placing himself in a position where he could watch the grounds around him, to keep an eye on the few students that would be walking from place to place. Ein was near paranoid in his caution, but it had a valid root.

OOC: Don't worry, I understand that immediate response is not always possible
Araxie really didn't care much about if he was being just diplomatic with her, but the thing she really didn't like was to make people do things they didn't want or feel like doing.
-You don't have anything to apologize for, it was actually very polite of you to give such a warning... I indeed don't want to get into trouble, so thank you. I will keep your advise in mind for the future, even when I can handle myself...
She smiled at him and then got up from the bench, standing just right in front of him, turning around to give a better look to the grounds.
- And yes, I am new, this are my first... minutes here, actually. My brother went to his class, as it seems his teacher is not missing, like mine. Is that a usual thing here?
She kept looking around for a few seconds and then completely stared at him, looking straight into his eyes, but not in a threatening way. She didn't even wait for him to answer her last question.
-You don't have to stay. If you had some others plans, please don't let me be a distraction...
Araxie smiled. She really meant what she was saying.

"I haven't had an issues with the..."
Ein's word were soon cut off by Araxie's and he frowned slightly. He would have liked to finish what he was saying, but decided that he would let the minor infraction on courtesy pass. It was hardly something to get angered about reguardless.
The words she spoke seemed somewhat misplaced. His eyes would stare back into hers, not with any sort of malice, but they did hold some type of well calculated viciousness. It would be a discomforting look to say the least, but not overly threatening.
"I have no where else I need to be and if I did I beleive I could take the small amount of time out reguardless.

Araxie smiled slightly and turned her eyes to the ground for a few seconds, his glare was not very friendly. She understood she had being rude with him not waiting for him to answer to her first question. The girl sighed and then looked up again.
-Sorry Ein... I didn't mean to interrupt you like that...
Araxie smiled just as before. She had understood by now that he was not very warm towards people, maybe just strangers, but it was just the same right now. Anyway, she didn't care, she thought people could behave anyway they wanted and that wouldn't make her change her ways
-Maybe you would prefer to walk instead of just standing here?
She had bent down now to grab her backpack and was now placing it over her shoulder and now really waited until he answered.

"If you wish."
Ein was truely content with either standing or walking. Perhaps if he truely thought about it he might determine there would be a slight preference towards standing. That knowledge was irrelevant as it wouldn't matter enough for him to make a decision one way or the other. Atleast not in this situation.
Ein would wait patiently as Araxie grabbed her bag and stood again. Waiting for her to move or stand as she wished. It seemed more likely that she would walk however and Ein was slightly more prepared for that.

She twist her lips and sort of chuckled. It was one of those gestures that could be considered a smile but at the same time it was something hard to decypher.
-Sweet... maybe you could show me around, if you don't mind of course...
Araxie began walking slowly to the other side of from where Ein had come, looking around somewhat curiously but not much, just like someone who's trying to recognize the new place he or she is in. Anyway, it didn't seem to be very different from any other school she had been to, but that was something that she could not really accept as truth due to the warning Ein had gave her.
-So, then I guess staying here is not very easy, isn't t? Fights all around?... did you attend Varron or are have you always attended this school?
She was looking at him. There was not much danger as they were walking slowly and there didn't seem to be many stones on the ground.

"It would be best for you to find your own way about, unless you require specific direction somewhere."
Ein spoke simply as he walked. It was in his nature not to give more than was absolutely required to much of anyone. All he gave were clues on what could be done and even then it might not neccessarily be the right thing to do.
"I came from Varron. There is alot of resentment, but I am gathering authority quickly."
That thought put abit of pleasure into Ein's mind. He had only been in afew fights but people were already starting to fear and avoid him. His armor of fear was quickly growing stronger and soon it would be like it was at Varron. With only the strong, the stupid and the many challenging him. With fewer threats to deal with it made his life that much easier.

OOC: I hope you don't mind I kinda godmod your char... If you do, please pm me to change it immediately
IC: Araxie chuckled with his answer. Alright, he definetely was not very friendly at all, but at the same time, he was right. It was better for her to find out things on her own.
-Yeah... I guess you are right... I'll get lost around the school later...
He then answered her second question, and the girl could only smile in almost an imperceptible way. "Gathering authority quickly", that phrase sounded somewhat dangerous to her.
-I'll remember not to make you mad... I don't want to get in trouble, specially with someone that would blow me away with just one punch...
The kept walking for a while in complete silence and while they did, Araxie turned to her right and saw a little group sitting on the grass, talking and laughing just like anyother group of friends, but when they saw Ein, they all acquired a dark look.
-Uhm... Interesting... so... are there any groups I should stay away from?
She shrugged and just kept walking

OOC: I don't see anywhere that you moded my character at all. So I guess you're fine.
"I doubt you'll have to worry about angering me. Not that I am quick to it in anycase."
Ein wondered why Araxie asked such a question. He knew that he was certainly intimidating and not entirely friendly, but he hadn't been overly threatening yet. Then again, not everyone reacted as favorably as he might as wished.
"I don't think there are too many groups to be afraid of here. Though if you find any such groups inform a Pillar or the Captain. It will be sorted shortly afterwards."
Ein's eyes fell over the group that suddenly glared as he passed. The resentment wasn't anything new, however the restraint was. Ein had the small measure of authority allotted to him as a new Pillar that could keep the Hircine in line now. All he had to do is work with the Varronites...

Araxie smiled when he said he was not quick to get anger. Many said that, but in fact it was just a few you actually didn't get mad easily. He seemed to be one of the few. In fact, to her, he seemed to be one of those people who are kind of hard to reach, who are rather feared or respected, but really known to a selected few.
-Alright... I'll try not to, anyway.
She didn't turn to see the sitting group again, but instead was a lot more interested trying to figure out who the captain and the pillars were. The thing was to get to know them...
-And who would those people be? I mean, the Captain and Pillars...
Knowing this would be very important for her survival in this school

"I would be one Pillar. The most current and certainly the most resented at this point."
Ein mused the last sentence mostly to himself. To him it was amusing that they would find him so horrid when they had Tiao that seemed to fight anything at the drop of the hat and Kurtz who could likely verbally beat most anyone in short order, and did so for fun at times.
"The two others are Tiao Lei Shen and Kurtz O'Neil. Both are rather respectable but have very different traits. Something easily found out if you ask around."
Ein wondered what he knew about the Captain. All in all it seemed very little to him yet the man certainly seemed to hold much of the same thought that Ein himself had developed. An odd thing, yet something immensely respected.
"The Captain is Darren Blayne. I don't know how much you'll hear of him. I can't say I know much of him either, but he is certainly one that thinks and thinks well."

As they kept walking and Araxie would almost only ask questien and then just listen to Ein. She raised both brows when he said he was the most recent pillar and then talked about the other 3 importan guys on school
-Ah, I see... I guess I should try to remember those names... and stay away from them...
She had muttered that last statement, as it had been more like a thought out spoken. Then she turned again to see him.
-May I ask how is it that you became a pillar?... and do you like it?
She couldn't really of something else about what she could talk to him. He seemed to be kind of closed and not knowing him made things a lot harder. She sighed at this thought, someone people where just not easy to reach.
While waiting for her answer, she turned her head just by chance and saw the same group that was sitting before now walking behind them, still not with a friendly look. She twitched her lips and sighed again.
-You think they are after you?... or after me, just because I'm walking with you?
The girl didn't turn to see them again, just kept walking like if nothing happened. She thought that as long as they kept watching they would become more of a threat, besides, it would be giving some people the importance they didn't have
-Anyway... that's how people behave... fearing what they don't know...
