This time we're using a perennial favorite, you're all fighting in a refurbished gym owned by Dain himself for the sole purpose of this league, in a twist on the ol' Cage-Match idea.
Two domed steel cages, connected together by a path just seven feet high and three and a half feet wide, just big enough to allow the largest contest to pass comfortably. The crowd's all around the cage watching and cheering you on. The acoustics of the place are ridiculous, however, and it's going to get loud. Hope you can concentrate.
Have fun.

OOC: Sorry for taking so long to post, I’ll be more frequent during the thread hopefully. And sorry if the post is a bit crappy, I feel rusty IC: Dante jogged in place as he was in front of the building where his next fight would be, he was wearing a tight black T-shirt and black sweatpants with tennis shoes. Okay, so maybe his choice of clothing for fighting wasn’t extremely fashionable, but he was still extremely excited about this next match, he felt he’d gotten a bit rusty since his last fight, and this unknown fighter could be just the thing he needed. Dante was now back to his over-optimistic self after his fight with Sedrix, and while he still missed Rebecca very much, he learned that he could let the loss of her take over his life. He ran into the building, as he saw Hank Mathews, his agent, there to meet him, “So,” Dante smirked as he took off his shoes and socks, while this would make his kicks slightly less painful, this would also give Dante more traction and would help him move around the ring more easily, “you still gonna watch my matches?” “Dammit, Dante,” Hank smiled in a relaxed way, strange for someone as uptight as him, “what’s with you and being late to these matches? You’re just lucky that your opponent hasn’t arrived yet, or I’d be really pissed. Now get your ass in there…” Dante chuckled and handed Hank his shoes and socks, “Alright, keep a hold of these till’ the match ends, alright?” He squeezed through the audience and looked at the ring. Hmm… Dante thought, Well, at least they continue to keep this interesting… Dante had never fought in a cage match before, and since this was probably an uncommon place for people to fight, Dante could only assume that his opponent wouldn’t be too experienced in this area. Dante got into the arena, awaiting his opponent. Over the phone, Dante’s agent told him that this guy’s name was Vincent, and since Dante had never met, much less fought the guy, he would just have to analyze the opponent when he came. He took another look at his surroundings, this could be a good thing for him, it was a closed space, which meant that he could run circles around his opponent and it would probably be harder for him to be caught, but it also meant that it would be harder to jump back from an attack without crashing into the cage. It looked like this arena could be promising or it could be the cause of Dante’s loss…

So the last fight didn't go so well, it only stung his prides slightly.
After all, there were only afew that expected to him and a little guy losing to a huge one isn't an uncommon thing in and of itself. No real loss there, atleast nothing spectacular. Still something was eating at him. Genaht was crumbling under Ein's order, and the thought was disturbing. The group acted so much like the Leader at times and it was then a revelation hit him.
The Mouth's mind was spinning as he entered the cage. Noting it's make and model with fervor, it's very design didn't allow for subtly or for counter attack. There would be no circling or testing blows. It was then that the idea snapped into place. The wonderment flashing in the man's eyes for a moment before a mischievous and vindictive grin grew on his face.
Ein wasn't letting Genaht crumble, he was shredding it. Ripping the pieces apart, Genaht was a Tapestry of Minds and to shred it was a sort of insanity, unless you knew someone would pick up the cloth and sew it back into something new. Something needed.
"Genaht...We are made to be destroyed, if only to be pulled back together again."
Vince would charge full stride through the tunnel towards the man on the other side. What better way to show his understanding than to crash against an opponent? To fling yourself like a glass bottle at a wall, not knowing if you'll shatter or bounce off, yet strangely hoping to shatter.
Still, Dante would easily have time to react as Vince charged down the tunnel. How he would react to the strangely at peace looking man that was flinging himself full force at an opponent he didn't even care to know.

As Vince ran down the small tunnel connecting the two slightly large caged domes, Dante was surprised. Not angry or startled, just a bit surprised. Dante was more used to the opponent that would constantly exchange formalities before a fight or spar. This was a nice change of pace anyway.
While Vince was charging, for a split-second he noticed something different about this opponent, nothing like the bloodlust or insanity of Auroth. But still, there seemed to be something a bit off about him. Maybe the fact that he was so aggressive he didn’t even bother to introduce himself to Dante? Maybe it was the fact that Vince had such a calm looking face while charging at Dante? Maybe both? But now it didn’t matter, what mattered was that they were in a fight, and Dante needed to get his head in the game.
Dante got into a quick position by putting his right foot in front of his left and hopping from foot to foot quickly, and when Vince was a tiny bit farther than striking distance, and had been too close, had gained to much momentum to simply stop or dodge, Dante would quickly sidestep to the right, and by then, Vince would most likely be within striking distance, and definitely be too close to make it extremely difficult to dodge or stop, unless he was superhuman.
Now, Dante would put his weight on his right foot and push forward, making him lean forward, at the same time, he would reach forward with his left hand and grab the back of Vince’s right shoulder, pushing Vince towards him quickly, and with his free left leg, Dante would slam his left knee into Vince’s stomach. If it hit, Vince would be disoriented, and probably be bent over as Dante would let go of him and land on the ground as he would try to slam his elbow down on Vince’s back. If this next series of attacks worked, it would basically insure Dante’s victory.

There's only two problems with dodging to the right and still maintaining striking range on an opponent that's charging you.
One, he's charging you so he's obviously not there just to have a good time.
Two, If you're in striking range, so is he.
Vince was charging with no real handed preference. The small calm grin on his face misleading as the eyes watched his opponent carefully, he only needed to know which direction the guy would dodge as it was obvious he wasn't going to be stupid enough to stand there and get run over.
The steps were closing the distance, each pat of the foot against the mat signaling the shrinking buffer zone between the two. Five more steps, three more, two more. At the last moment his opponent moved his right, Vince's left fist struck out.
It wouldn't counteract the fact that his opponents left leg would be shooting forwards. But it would limit his ability to get a grip on the man and bring him full force into that knee. The result would be Vince tripping up slightly and slamming abit harshly into the chain link fence that made up the Cage, but more than likely would send his foe to the ground as well.

OOC: I’m going to assume you hit me in the chest, since you didn’t specify. But if you were supposed to hit me somewhere else, just say so and we can just say that I was hit there instead.
Well, Dante’s attack hit that was a good thing. He caused his opponent to slam up against the wall of the cage they were fighting in, but the bad thing was that as a result of his attack, he was hit with Vince’s left hand, which not only hurt Dante some, it also lessened the effect of Dante’s knee attack.
Though the effect of Vince’s attack was probably less than his opponent would’ve expected, because though he was punched, and it did hurt Dante, it wouldn’t knock him down, because though the fist lessened the effect of Dante’s grip and push on Vince’s shoulder, giving him enough forward momentum to stay standing up. But the punch still left an ache on Dante’s chest.
But he ignored the small, throbbing pain and whirled around, facing Vince. This time, it would be his turn to attack. He leapt forward, attempting to make a grab at Vince’s shirt collar when he was within striking distance and pull Vince towards him, whether he was successful or not in that attack, Dante would then attempt to slam his fist into Vince’s face. It would be hard to block, since he just tripped and crashed into the fence, it would be unlikely that his hands would be in front of his face. If it connected, then Vince would probably be disoriented, giving Dante the chance to pull his fist back yet again and try to slam it into Vince’s stomach in an uppercut motion.
If both those attacks, it would damage Vince greatly, giving quite a large advantage to Dante in this fight.

OOC: IDTHS?
The crowd roared as the two came together, two partially deflected blows landing. Vince soon slamming into and bouncing off of the chain link cage while his opponent was temporarily regaining balance. It would only be another moment, before the crowd roared again and Vince felt a hand grab the back of his shirt.
What would happen next, only an idiot wouldn't expect. Vince would duck down while turning towards his opponent, all the while praying that the blow that was surely being send his way wasn't for his body. A quick step forward and arms grasping for the form of the other man, Vince would attempt heft his opponent into the air and dump him onto the ground behind him.
Of course this didn't necessarily stop any attacks that could happen while in the process of the throw.

There wasn't much to really go on, thanks for that, by the way *grumble*, but, ultimately, Vince made more realistic use of the environs and thus, I'm giving him the win.
Winner: Vince.
EDIT: I don't care, I'm not switching accounts.

OOC: Yeah, sorry about the unsatisfactory fight, just this week I've been swamped with homework and other stuff, and even when I was on Hircine, I wouldn't have enough time to reply T_T
