Okay, unless Martin makes a miraculous recovery and decides he still wants to be in the Fighter's League, and/or RP in general, I'm going to cut him out, cuz nobody wants to be stuck with the no-show.
However, that has finally dropped me to an odd amount of fighters. Which puts me at a loss.
I could A) enter another participant, but we're getting a little late in the game for that, they'd already be a good 15 points behind the top ranked guys, or b) work it out where someone simply doesn't fight each week, but once again, it's not fair because, not everyone got a by week, and therefore some people will get less matches than others. So unless I make it a 'fixed' by, where the highest-ranked competitor each round is the one who skips that week, it wouldn't be fair. Say, for instance, the season ended before Ari ever had to skip, but Odin did. Both are undefeated, but Ari would get more points than Odin simply by having more fights.
So... give a late replacement a chance, set up some kind of by system, or what? I'm open to suggestions here, people.

Well, as for a replacement, I don't mind being 15 points behind the top ranking guys... I don't expect to win it in any case.
So, I think we should give a/more late replacement(s) a chance.

Two viable options, in my book, are thus:
1. If a member is really, genuinely fine about participating despite the deficit in points, then allow them. It's really not going to make a massive impact in the grand scheme of things, and unlike the tournaments, the time-span put in place for the league is much longer. There's still potential for a new insert to make up their points if they can.
2. Please bear in mind I'd like this considered as a LAST resort only, but if the push comes to shove, then I can remove Taiku from the league. Unlike most characters here, I actually have viable reasons and, consequently, storyline material to work from that standpoint. Like I said, last case scenario, but if it's down to removing someone to balance the numbers, I'll take that drop.
It does suck though. Also, for the record, the idea of setting up a 'bye' seems like a whole lot of effort for a minimal payout in my honest opinion...Points will be made up in one aspect or another, just let the threads do the work for it. Anyone new joining will be well aware of the handicap they'll accept for themselves, so it's not like they're being dropped headfirst into it, right?

If you're gonna do option 1, then you should at least give the new entry Martin's 3 points he got from losing all three rounds. It isn't much, but it'll help a little.

I agree with Nathan on this one. Option one would be the best choice, in my opinion, but it's only fair to give the new contestant those three points.

Alright, well, then, one question really remains:
Who wants to join in this round?!

Didn't Magnus say he would? Or was he speaking hypothetically?

If worst comes to worst then I can fill in for him, but someone will have to judge my matches for me. Of course that's only if you can't find anyone else.

Yeah, Magnus looks like he called it. But if not, then I'd call in second, since Nathan's too important to fill in immediately.
Still, I think Magnus wants it.

Just to clear out any misunderstandings if any. I wouldn't mind the spot if it is available to me. (Magnus)
But naturally, I can't judge Magnus' fights then.
If Dain still allow me to judge fights after my internet died.

There's an option C, as there was technically another 'no-show' for the last round. Not sure about the rounds before, but Jonathan only posted an intro to the last fight. I was pretty peeved with the lack of fighting, but thats because I was his opponent.
And I must add: HOLY HELL! Why hadn't I seen this before!

Technically, Michaels DID post in the thread, which is why I'm holding out for him. He didn't start the fight, no, but he did post into it, which is enough for me so far.
But yeah, sure, if you want it, Magnus, you'll have it. I'll post fights tomorrow.

This is a poor man's bump. Since I'm modless, I'd like if somebody moved my old matches. The new ones are up. Holy crap, I know, I set a deadline for myself and met it. Stop the presses.
