Please excuse the crappy Paint-Destroyed map.Monkeybars = Captive Drop-Off PointSlide = Safe PointBrown Things = Park Benches/Picnic Tables Early morning. A perfect time to sneak on to the schoolgrounds and head to the outdoor equipment shed - which housed things like the lawnmower, and other machine's for the school's upkeep - and put this locksmith's key to the first test she bothered to since she received it. Flipping through her keyring as the crouched near the door in the early hours of the morning, Aryn hummed softly as she slid the key into the lock and smiled in silent satisfaction when it clicked and she swung the door open. The tool she borrowed wouldn't be missed for a couple hours - and even then it still wouldn't be missed as it was Sunday - and besides, she really had no need to keep the silly thing. She'd already chosen the place for her game of Man Hunt, and it wasn't much trouble to set up a sort of perimeter so the people playing didn't run off too far. Later in the Day[/i] She sent the string of text messages out, adding in they could ''invite'' anybody they knew or heard of...and there was always the chance that someone passing through would join in too. The only thing Aryn had to do now was wait for them to show up. She found herself spinning around in slow circles on a tire-swing, munching on some take-out for supper as she waited. 'Mmm, Chinese food is gooood...' Aryn thought, feeling rather pleased with herself. The line-marker had already been returned to the school's shed, which was then relocked. And eventually, people started showing up. ''Right, so I'm guessing you're all wondering just what the hell this 'Man Hunt' game is? Well, there's two teams... To which I'll just keep you guys waiting a bit longer while I sort you into teams.'' Aryn grinned cheekily as she started pointing at people and directing them to one side or another, going purely on physical 'build' more than anything. When she was done, there were two groups. Herself, 'Pain Killer', Aden, Ryou, Mark and Zack on one side. On the other? Aina, Conner, Felix, Li, August, and Corey. Not that she really knew all their names or anything, but those she did she greeted with a smile. ''Anyway. I'm sure you've noticed this bright white line when you made your way here. Inside it is the boundary for the game. One team gets half a minute ro spread out and run off into the surrounding area, and the object of teh game for that team is to make it back to the slide--'' She said, pointing to the slide, ''--without being captured by the opposite team. Now, the ones doing the Hunting, obviously you have to attempt to capture as many people on the opposite team as you can, but your drop off point is over by the monkeybars. You can do anything you have to to capture one on the other side, but you've got to keep a hold on 'em, otherwise they can escape. Once you get to the picnic tables and benches, you can't try to escape any longer...'' And so it continued on until she'd explained what was what and how it was accomplished. ''Anybody mind if my team's the team to be hunted? I'm sure if you guys want, we'll do a second so you can have a chance, too.'' The question was slightly teasing in tone, but still a question. Her eyes flickered to both Conner and August on the opposing team, and she flashed them a devilish smile and a wink or two. . o O ( I'm sure some of you are wondering why Zeniro isn't included in the lists; I was asked to leave him out of a team, and no, I don't know when he's gonna show up. Next post is the official start, just so you guys know. I figured some of you might have enough to write about in order to get here, considering I don't even know how most of you can. xP )

Ryou sat on top of a picnic table in one of the many parks, eating food he had bought for lunch. Picking up a piece of sushi with chopsticks, he ate the entire piece in two bites. " Ah, nothing like Japanese food for lunch, quick, but filling." he thought as he ate some pieces of a California roll, sunshine shining down on his face.
A group with a picnic basket passed by him, glaring at him, since he had taken up a picnic table by himself. Instead of confronting them, he just smiled pleasantly at them, making them glare at him even more. He then felt a rumbling coming from his black jacket pocket, and pulled out his phone from his pocket. He pushed the front up, and saw he he had received a text message from Aryn. Smiling to himself, he closed his phone and placed it back in his pocket.
" And so the fun begins."
- Evening -
Ryou made his way to the spot Aryn had texted him, finishing the last of his teriyaki chicken, before closing the styrofoam box and tossing it in the garbage can. He then shoved his hands in his dark blue jeans pockets that he had worn along with a dark blue shirt and black hoodie, and made his way across the field, walking over a white line that looked like a boundary line. He saw Aryn waiting, sitting on a tire swing. " Hey." he called out, as he walked the last few steps before stopping to stand beside her. " Nice place you picked." he smirked, " I love the redecorating you did. " he nodded his head back, towards the white line. He looked around, looked like he was the first one to arrive. All he had to do now was wait, and he didn't feel like standing the whole time so he sat down on one of the swings, and looped both his arms around the chains before shoving his hands back into his pockets.
He stared at the ground, when was the last time he was at a playground? Years ago probably, when he was dragged along by Amy when she was little. Looking back on it, he didn't have a half bad time with her. The sound of footsteps made Ryou look up, and he saw that people had begun to show up. " Heh, finally, now the fun can begin."
He stood up, and was placed into a team with some people he recognized from Club Legion, mainly Aryn and " Pain Killer", but the others he didn't know, but recognized them from school. He then turned his attention to listen as Aryn explained what was going to happen, the place that was safe, and where he'd be takne if he was caught. He nodded his head to acknowledged he understood, and then heard Aryn ask if anyone minded if her team was the one's to be hunted, he just shrugged his shoulders, he was fine with it either way. His hands no longer in his pockets, now hung loosely by his side, he prepared himself to run and hide.
" Let the fun begin."

Zack had been at Hircine for about a week and already he had made friends and had his number passed around to a lot of random people. On one of Zack’s random strolls around the city he enjoys taking, his phone began to vibrate, raising an eyebrow to his pocket he pulled the phone out ~Unknown number eh? Nothing new there. ~ opening the message and reading it Zack began to smile “Got nothing better to do.” Dropping the phone back into his pocket Zack began his slow and steady walk back home to get ready for what the remainder of the day may hold.
-Later-
Zack had just passed the white ring and decided to jog the rest of the way till he hit the playground. Wearing the usual, black jeans, plain trainers and a white wife beater he emerged from some trees and slowed from a quick jog to a light walk, a minute or so later and he was standing near a slide. “So, I take it there will be more coming to this party?” Zack asked. He didn’t care if he was answered or not for not long after people started to show up.
After a while there were eleven people standing in front of Aryn. Not long after the talking has stopped Zack was told to go and stand next to the one who had turned up before him earlier in the day followed by a few more people he didn’t know ~Great, a game with strangers.~ Zack thought as he loosened up his body slightly. Aryn asked the groups if they minded if her team went first, Zack just smiled ~I prefer being hunted, way more fun.~ Zack thought as he waited for the game to begin.

Felix hadn't been doing much. He had gotten off of work for the day, seeing as how the restaraunt was going to be empty. It just was that kind of day, a day in which everyone who walked through the doors knew from a feeling in their gut. The owners let just about everyone clock out early, showing up and handling the handfull of loyal customers.
Felix had been walking to his car when he recieved a text from Aryn. He replied, already knowing what the text was for, and typed his consent. He just had to head home, change and make it back to the park they were using.
Present:
He looked down at his apparel for this evenings events. His black boots, calf high. He used a pair of black khakis that he had bought for when he was going to be supervising the bar area, as he was always being spilled on and black hid the spills the best. He had a tight, dark green turtleneck, lightly woven to allow the air to cut threw the material. He didn't want to sweat it too much out here and his overcoat, which would be left on a bench.
Making his way to the gathering of people, he nodded once and noticed a few people to take note of. 'Connor and August, proclaimed Horsemen. I see Pain Killer is here.' He half remembered the last man, only truly hearing about him. He kept a small distance between himself and everyone else, even when they were put on teams, it seemed as if he strayed a little.
'I'll have to keep an eye out on a few people here. I wouldn't put it past a few to take this too far.' He silently chided himself, it wasn't his nature to revert back to his past self. He shook it off and bounced a little, stretching out his legs and loosening up his arms and neck. He heard Aryn speak first, which sparked his curiosity a bit. "Be careful what you wish for," he smiled slightly, his competitive side sparked the comment, "Some of us here don't like to lose." He would leave it at that. His adrenaline had beem pumping from the moment he locked his car. He was ready for this.

Post by Aden Allett on Mar 21, 2008 5:06:47 GMT 1
Announced on the valentine’s raffle, Aden had been looking forward to the game of “Man-Hunt.” Something Aryn had pitched to other prizes and winners and anyone interested. Aden walked down the streets of San Francisco, quietly listening to the music coming out of the headphone set on top of his head. The weather was getting decent and it showed. He hadn’t his jacket on, but merely a light blue long sleeve with his jeans.
He was headed to the school. Receiving a text message prior, from his prize, smirking overtime he thought of her as such, he found himself out the door almost immediately. He stopped by a local store to buy a quick lunch and found himself off again, towards the school.
It was slightly later in the day that he had arrived. Most people seemed to be there. He immediately took sight of fellow Revelation members, Aryn, Conner and August. The rest he was unfamiliar with, only recognizing them from possible passes in the hall or seeing them at the raffle. Looking over to Aryn’s direction, he spotted her as most stated they were “here.”
He made his way up to Aryn. He gave a smirk commenting on the locale for the game. “Never too old to play around here.” Soon enough, Aryn began to give out the rules and regulations. First it was up to making the teams as she divided the group up. As that was finished, Aden found him in what seemed a fairly good looking group. He didn’t know much about any of his teammates, but most looked fairly athletic, especially this ‘Pain Killer.’
Aryn had offered for her team, meaning Aden’s team, to go first as the hunted, ensuring that they would have another round so they could switch. Aden agreed, having no problem going first, they would have their chance to hunt eventually, right?

((OOC: Sorry, but this is my only post until monday due to vacation...im really sorry for any inconvenience!!))
Corey Yawned, stretching his neck and back muscles after an arduous day at the gym. Being of a thin build, Corey felt like he needed as much exercise as he could get, and jumped at every opportunity to build muscle on his wiry frame. Strength came from within, though, and while he may not be the biggest man on campus, he had a will that more than held its own.
Relaxing on the roof of the school living quarters, Corey put his hands behind his head, and looked up at the sky. It had been an interesting day, for him, and not one he would soon forget.
Jumping at the vibration of his cell, Corey dug his hand into his pocket and read the text he had received. The one who sent it, Aryn, didn't sound familiar to him, so he almost decided to dismiss it and continue with his relaxation. But what she had said sounded intriguing, and like it might be fun. Besides, she couldn't have sent it to anyone else, she addressed him by name.
That settled it then. Corey would go, and see what this "Man-Hunt" was all about.
*Present*
Corey walked onto the field, just in time to see her, the girl who had apparently sent him the text, point to him and designate him a team full of people he had never seen before. He wondered, briefly, how she knew he was going to show up at that instant, but he guessed she must have seen his approach and just went with it.
He walked over to "His" team, gave them a smile and a nod of the head, then turned his attention to the other team. Most of them were of stronger build, so he guessed it might be foolhardy to take one down on his own. No, he would find another player on his team of a smaller build, and hunt with them. He'd ask who wanted to be with him after the other team would take off, then would begin. 'This game doesn't sound half bad!' He thought to himself with a mental grin. His body had plenty of energy after the long rest he had taken, and he was ready to get this started.
'Lets do this'

The message came up on Zerr....his phone. Li remembered signing up for this man hunt game at some point... somewhere. Maybe? Recently, he was really dazed and couldn't keep track of things. Obviously it wasn't him going senile, but he seemed really out of it. Li did remember one thing though, he joined to meet new people. The first thing he decided for himself is to quit being a closet loser and check the school out for what it really is, rather than continue to base it on his perception of what he THOUGHT it was.
This was a Hircine thing. Obviously, this wasn't the typical game of manhunt and Li was expecting that. So when he got to the field, he was pleasantly amused to see some familiar faces, particularly Pain Killer's. He was sure he had met a few others, but not as much and gave his team a quick glance. To hunt the wrong team would be stupid, and he didn't know anyone's style, so mind games were free for all. He looked over both teams to figure out the distinguishing features. It wasn't too dark, but once it was, it'd be harder to identify people at range.
He patted himself on the back in his mind for wearing faded black jeans and a dark teal Element T-Shirt. He would've preferred a button down or a jacket, but climbing was fair game and to be caught in a snag was bad. Even if he was to be one of the hunters, losing one's prey is just poor skill. He would need to figure out some way to collaborate with his team, but since none of them are from Legion, none would have the proper equipment. It wasn't like he was going to bring all the equipment either so Li began to think how he could work with what he had.

*Ring*
"No."
*Ring... Ring*
"I'm not picking you up."
*Ring*
"Fine!"
Severely annoyed, Adam snatched the phone off the table, silently hating the small device. He could never figure out it's full functionality, in particular, the option to turn off the text messaging alerts. Usually, it didn't matter, since only Mya ever text-messaged him and she only did it to annoy him, but since he'd agreed to participate in this game, he'd been forced to give out his number.
Something he regretted already.
Taking a moment to read the directions and commit them to memory, Pain Killer would drop the phone into his pocket, pulling on his trenchcoat as he made his way out the door.
--------------------------------------Later-----------------------------------
By all rights, he should have arrived there first. Not only did Pain Killer live fairly close to this particular park, but he drove his car as well. Unfortunately, the moment he'd gotten in his car, Adam had immediately forgotten what the directions were, forcing him to check his phone twice during his journey to the park, which included missing the turn the first time he went by the street the park was located on.
Finally, however, Adam had managed to find the right place. The short walk from the car to the park gave him plenty of time to see the other arrivals, a few that he recognized from the raffle, as well as another he'd overheard Taiku speak about, Li-something. Aside from that, however, there were very few present that Pain Killer knew to any real degree, aside from Conner and Aina, though they sat at opposite ends of the spectrum. Conner managed to piss him off to no end, to the point where his normal frown would deepen into a scowl just at the sight of him, while Aina would instill the opposite reaction in him, his scowl disappearing the moment he caught sight of her.
Of course, such a moment didn't last long once the teams were made.
Of all people, that's the worst possible matchup. I'll have to keep an eye open.
Pain Killer would glance at those who had been designated as part of his team, noting quite quickly that he was the largest by far. He could already tell that such a fact would mean he was likely to be one of the other team's first targets, simply due to the fact he was slower than everyone else, although a smaller person would be hard pressed to capture him alone. Despite his near-legendary dense mind, the beginnings of a plan had already begun forming, something that the youngest surviving Rydell thought was pure genius.

Conner trailed into the park somewhere inbetween everywhere else. For once, he made no extravagant entrance and no obnoxious shouts. He stopped off to the side and several feet behind where those already here had gathered. Aryn was talking to someone else, or at least they were talking to her, so there wasn't anyone he cared to associate with yet. He leaned against the fence, pulling out a cigarette. By the time he finished it, everyone else (who he had assumed were indeed "everyone else") had shown up. He put out the bud with the toes of his shoes, proceding over to where they had gathered.
It was only now that Conner gazed over the faces of who was here. He was familiar with roughly half of the faces, though he could only place a name to three: Aryn, Aina, and Pain Killer. The latter of the trio gave a hell of a grimace to the horseman, who gladly smiled back with a raise of his middle finger. Whatever confronation that could of come from it was cut short once again, as Aryn quickly seperated them into teams.
The Horseman of War was happy with how the teams were split. He didn't get Aryn on his team, but that was for the better. This time hunting her down would be beneficial all around, rather than a distraction. He had Aina, which would prove to be that distraction regardless, though Conner took joy in the fact that he had Pain Killer's date by his side, rather than the larger man's own. There were three guys Conner didn't really know, but they looked tougher than the ones on the other team. Which made sense, since they were on his team. More than everyone else though, Conner was glad to have who would be the closest person to a friend he had, August Velway. On their own, they could raise all sorts of hell, and together, Conner was already beaming with premature pride.
"What up, bitch?"
Conner grinned, slapping his hand to grasp with August's and bump shoulders. His head remained by August's another moment following the bump, whispering something into his peer's ear. Letting go, Conner would move away from August, sending a sideways wink to Aryn, as he noticed her flashing a smile to the two of them. He turned to the rest of the team, noticing one of them was farther off to the side. He walked over to Felix, throwing his left arm around his shoulders and turning him the other way as he pulled Felix in and out in a rough joking manner.
"Hey buddy, you don't need to stand alone, you can stand by me! You're part of the team! Oh yeah!"

Mark had cut his weekend back home with his mother a little short, giving him the ability to participate in the 'little game' he had signed up for on campus. Seeing as he was enrolled in Hircine just last friday, he hadn't met anyone he could really call a friend. By the end of his meeting with the Principal, Mark realized they wouldn't have a schedule ready for him until the following week. Besides, he hadn't even picked out the classes he wanted to take. Hircine offered several in-depth courses about a variety of subjects that Mark's old school didn't have available to students.
Despite the fact that he truly knew no one at the school, except for the few faces he saw while roaming the campus, Mark was up for this little social gathering - hoping for some interaction with the student body. He had came across a notice on a bulletin board decorating one of the main hallways, and read the brief description of the 'game' that was going on Sunday, today. A little game of 'Hide and Seek' - something he hadn't played in years. What he read sparked his interest, so he signed his name - offering his cell phone number for contact purposes.
Lo and behold, Sunday afternoon a text message rattled the phone in his pocket as he was on his way to the park. He depressed his thumb against the iPhone's screen, reading the messages contents. 'Invite anyone you know' Mark laughed lightly at the message before returning the phone to his pocket, and returning his gaze to peer outside the window of the taxi cab he occupied. Flashes of green and gray exploded into his eyes as the taxi sped through the city.
~ Present ~
Mark's hand lightly flicked to close the taxi cab door. The smell of fresh-cut grass filled Mark's nostrils as he inhaled deeply, taking in his surroundings. Tall trees, a few dirt paths, and what seemed to be a kiddie-playground just up the path. His body began to trek up the path toward a small group of students that clustered the playground. The crunch of gravel would easily alert the students of his presence upon arrival. Although he could care less now, he noted that for future reference during the game. Pathway = Noise.
Mark stood erect amongst the few students as he pulled his phone out to set it to silent. Another thing, Phone = Noise. The phone was replaced as a female in the group began to speak. Apparently, she took the role of leader, and divided the students into groups as they began showing up. Mark was matched with the leader herself, as well as four other guys. The rules were then explained. Mark really didn't care about the benches, or the picnic tables, or the monkeybars for that matter. All he really cared about was the white line, and the slide. Once he hit the slide, he had safety. A small grin spread across his lips as his emerald eyes scanned the treeline - trying to find somewhere that would prove beneficial to him. He had a minute and a half. More than enough time for him to find a spot.
Mark was just glad he was the hunted, and not the hunter.

"The hell do you mean, I hit you?! Your goddamn SUV tapped my back wheel with the force of a tank! I'm suin', you tiny prick!" Velway wasn't happy. He had been down in central San Fran, minding his own business eating a turkey sandwich while biking in a parking lot, when some gas guzzling prick from upstate flanked him out of nowhere. Don't mind that August was trying to bolt it past the guy when he was clearly trying to pull out, but the point was, the other guy was clearly at fault! August had been arguing with the guy and his wife for about forty-five seconds before a rumble passed through the back pocket of his worn old jeans, and after a while, the sensation grew too annoying to ignore. Waving his hand in front of his face to silence the angered old fart, Velway shot a glance to his cell phone to see his message. He grinned instantly. "You just went down a rung on my interests, old man," Velway spoke back, and turned his back away, heading towards his perfectly-fine cruiser. He heard a few yells of protest from behind him, as it appeared the SUV had damage at the rear, but Velway no longer cared - hell, he didn't care from the start, but now he didn't find it amusing to argue over it. Instead, he had some eye candy to have... and some good fun. || 'Tis be Later...ish || Braking his motorcycle at the nearest parking lot, Velway lazily strolled through the well-groomed park with a frown, a bit turned off by the nitpicky exactness. Perfection... bleh. Hell with that.It wasn't long until he was amongst the other little hide-and-go-seekers. Surprisingly enough, though; he wasn't the largest guy there. That was odd, considering that the entire point of Man Hunt was to avoid being captured... But Velway just grinned; this was a little twist from the halls of Hircine High. What else was there to expect? Velway found himself at the nearby fence and chilled, listening in to the lovely Vancolph's lowdown on the game. Near the end of it, the most familiar of the twelve-person-group showed up, and August felt a bit at ease. He actually had someone to work with. August didn't have a great number of friends at the school, but McGrath was one, and closely trusted. August just nodded back when he clasped hands with Connnor, but the little hidden message flashed a grin of bright, ivory teeth that remained for several seconds, and Velway did his best not to laugh. Connor's idea was something that would really toss a spin on the game. And the grin was inadvertently sent towards Aryn, whom August was glad to see noticed him. How sweet of you. We'll see if you're so happy in a few minutes, when we catch your ass.Glancing around, August watched as McGrath walked over to one of their own teammates, only recognizing the face of the cheerleader, the rest completely unknown to him. As for their prey, he recognized Aryn, and the face of another Revelation bro and that tough guy from school that everyone talked about. As for the others, they were strangers too. But throughout the most part, August was still grinning. The setting was perfect, the circumstances perfect... if perfection were such a great thing, then August would be surprised, but for once, he was glad that it was true. Today would be some damn good fun.

Her thick, warm pink blankets covered most of her silhouette, the only thing anyone could see was the blonde of her hair. Aina slept like a baby in her large queen sized bed, covered with fluffy pink and purple pillows and teddy bears. Oh yes, she was that type of girl, the usual pink loving preppy girl who slept in over-sized beds with large blankets and so many plushies that the girl herself could barely be seen. As much as it sounded strange, you had to admit, with all those fluffy things, it does sound like a comfortable and nice place to sleep. It was then that her cell phone ran, the ring tone of "Barbie girl" singing out loud, causing the girl to firstly lift the blanket up to her head, covering it completely. Once she figure out that it was not blocking out the sound well, gave up, removed the blanket from her blonde head, yawned and slowly sat herself up. Sadly, the cell phone was across the room, so walking would have to be required. So, she did so, slowly as hell, but still achieving her goal(to walk across the room). "Like what the hell....it's so frigin' early...." she whined and muttered under her breath, blinking her bright blue eyes a few times to wake up. It was a text message and it came from an unknown number that was not in her list of contacts. But, Aina decided to read it nonetheless and pressed 'view' so that she could read the whole thing. It had something to do about a man-hunt? The hell?! Oh...oh wait....yes, she remember now. The man hunt! She had signed up for that....but why? Why the hell would she sign up for something like that! Oh...yes, she remembered now. It was 'cause Adam had signed up... Damn her! What the hell was wrong with her?! Either way, she shrugged it off and decided to just hurry as fast as she could to get to the park. ----------~Later~---------- She wore a comfortable pair of jeans, well fitted at the hips, but loose at the legs to make it comfortable for this man hunt thing. Her shirt was a simple black tank top and her hair was well, like it always was. Usually loose, but with two sideway ponytails for extra cuteness. She was well dressed, still very much in fashion, but had more of, well, an outside look then a professional or show-off look. People were already there, only two of them recognizable to her. First there was Conner, the 'mounting' and revolution guy and then there was Adam. Conner, she barely talked to, but when she did, she usually had Mae-Lim with her; but Adam, well, they knew each other a pretty good amount. In fact, just looking at him, she couldn't help smiling and slightly blushing, happy to see him there. She wouldn't have been there if he wasn't there after all. Well, sadly she wasn't in his team, but at least she had Conner, but even then, he probably wouldn't be much company but he was still well, someone she sort of knew. She mostly kept to herself when her team bundled up together. The game seemed like it could be fun, a little complicated for her, but she would eventually get the hang of it. No biggie.

. o O ( Right, so this is the official start! Post order doesn't really matter after this, just the usual waiting until the person(s) you're interacting with have replied. Ready? Steady! Go! )
It might have been just Aryn, but she could have sworn there was something going on between a couple of the members on the opposite team... Namely Conner and August, but then again, she supposed it was normal when they were put together. Either way, all she really had to do was run fast, far-ish, and be crafty enough to make it back...alive!
'Alive. Ha, what a notion...' Was the mental snicker as she lightly bounced back and forth from foot to foot.
''Alright, I assume we're all ready and there's no more questions to be asked. Someone with a watch? Yeah, you want to time us for about forty-five seconds to give us a good head-start? Great, thanks.'' It didn't matter who on the opposite team was doing it, as long as it was going to be done.
''Ready?! Set! GO![/i]''
And with that, the game was started. Aryn could only assume the rest of her team was smart enough to go another direction than the one she was currently headed in. She dashed off towards the trees, twisting and turning through the first few trunks. She huffed slightly, dragging in a deep breath as she went further into the woods, and a bit further still after being totally out-of-view of the kiddie-park. Sliding around the base of a particularly wide tree, she spared a moment to look around the trunk, forehead brushing against a low limb.
And with that, there was an idea. While most trees didn't even have buds yet, there was still enough trees around that she couldn't be seen easily from back at the park, especially if she stayed on this side of the tree. She put her hands on either side of the low branch and walked up the trunk, quickly swinging herself up and upright before making her way a bit higher into the tree, finally positioning herself so that the trunk was between her and the playground.
From her vantage point, she could see the hunters that came close enough, and could wait until they passed to slink down the tree and make a proper run for it. Holding her hands up to her face, she blew on them gently, perched upon the branch that wasn't exactly all that wide. It was a warm-but-cool evening, and would only get cooler as the day ended.

Things were going well that evening. He could tell a few people, not just himself, were unnerved with the way the teams came out to be. 'No doubt Conner and August have something to do with that.' He sent it to the back of his mind and focused on the rest of his team. While he didn't know anyone personally, he could tell that his team was a good one.
He watched as Conner walked up to him, quickly throwing an arm around him and exclaiming to everyone that he didn't need to be standing so far apart. While felix was slightly put off at this display, he let none of it slip onto his features. Instead, he cracked a smile and shrugged. "Don't know anyone. Thought standing off to the side would just be more, appropriate." It was a half assed excuse, but it would be the one to give.
He allowed Conner to walk him back into the group and he continued to smile at everyone in turn. once that was done and over with, he put up his guard.
It didn't take Aryn long after everyone showed up to start the game, point to one of Felix's teammates and had him time it. Personally, timing wasn't that important. Once someone got in the tree line, they could be completely invisible to the park if they chose to be. He watched as they all ran off into the thick of things and turned to his team.
"I have no doubt that someone is going to pull something incredibly stupid and or incredibly dangerous. That being said, just so that later I can come back and go, 'I told you so', anyone got any good plans." He looked around at each member in turn and then scanned the tree line. "I don't mind messing with them, but I get competitive, and losing just sucks." He stood there, hoping someone had something. He didn't plan, he was too 'on the fly'. It was his nature.

The teams were made and the game was soon to begin. Each person made their way to their respective teams and Aden stared over at the other as the flocked around, smiling and plotting. Aden took a look at their team and at his team; both seemed evenly matched by physical looks. He had no idea how they were mentally and that came into play in a game like that along with physical ability.
Aryn made sure to ask if everyone was ready. Without any objections, she made sure to give their side a good head start of forty-five seconds. With that, and the yell of her voice, the hunted team was off. Spreading out seemed to be the best idea, Aryn went her way into the trees; Aden took the opposite direction, not knowing about the other teammates.
He was out of eyesight before he looked for a true place to hide, running along a group off tree’s he made not of a large group of bushes, winter not affecting their, was it pine? Bah, he didn’t care about what you called those types of bushes, the fact was that you could hide behind them and most would run by. However, it seemed like a more obvious hiding spot.
Aden removed his jacket, the running was keeping him warm and he wouldn’t need it after all. He just hoped no one ruined it with what he was planning to do with it. If someone ran by the rather large bush, they would exactly be able to see anyone, but the smart would realize that it was a good hiding spot. Moving to the front side of the bush, Aden stuffed his jacket under it, leaving just enough out to make it look like someone squeezed themselves under it.
Leaving before anyone caught up to him, he ran a few feet ahead ducking behind the trunks of a group of tree’s, staying low, as not to be seen. He peered over to his diversion, waiting for someone to take a look so he could escape and head for the freedom that was the safe point.
“All part of the game, eh?”

Zack watched as the rest of the participants turned up, he recognised some of them from walking around school but knew no names, this didn’t matter as he wouldn’t really be calling them anyway. Aryn had told the other team to time forty-five seconds, didn’t matter if they agreed or not because as soon as Aryn said “GO” Zack was off, and as far as he could tell nobody else from his team had followed him.
Zack ran into a large gathering of trees. “Monkey time.” Zack said as he looked up at the branch of a tree that was just out of his reach. Taking off his top he jumped and swung it over a branch before landing again. Taking another leap Zack grabbed his top and used it to pull himself up and wrap his legs around the thick branch, pulling himself up so that he is standing on the branch Zack moved closer to the trunk of the tree to help climb a little higher.
From Zack’s current position he could see the park easily through a gap in the trees, Zack had a good escape route planned in case he had to run, and he also had a good view of his own immediate surroundings. Now he just had to try and locate the rest of his team.

Screw it, every hunter for himself. Li thought to himself as he stared at his Bvlgari watch. Forty-five seconds. No more, no less. He kept his arm high, so that he would be able to see where everyone was headed while also being able to check the time. He knew what a good estimate of forty-five seconds was, but he still wanted to make sure. He was still deciding on what to do with his team though. He tried convincing himself that going solo would be the best course of action, but in team games that never worked. Even in manhunt, it was more effective for the hunted to work together. The rules were very lax and so fighting would obviously ensue. Or would it?
"Hey." He said to simply get the attention of the team. He was now staring at his watch, keeping his eye on those running and trying to pay attention to what his team would say. Talk about multi-tasking. "Just wondering, if push came to shove, so to speak, would you break out into fighting for this game?" He knew his choice of words weren't the best, but it would definitely get the point across.

... And the games began.
Run ya little rats, run... cuz big old August will be chompin' on your meat soon enough...
Watching as Aryn and the rest of her hunted team broke ranks and scurried into the surrounding forest, August Velway just grinned with anticipation, knowing that he could take his time. As it would be, there were two matters to attend to now: giving an ample strategy plan for the team, and slipping away to... steal away his new goal.
When most of Aryn's team was out of sight, one of August's teammates spoke out to the group in a way that brought a new smile to August's face, and he had to hide his amusement.
... Stupid? Probably. Dangerous? Oh, hell yeah! But that's not gonna stop us, definitely not...
With that, August just gazed back to the group, focusing on the one guy in particular, and spoke in a manner that could likely be seen as an order or demand, "Well, I'm especially competitive dude, so I'm with ya on that. That's why I got a plan. See, me and Conner will stay here and act as tanking guard, since we look to be the biggest dopes 'round here, and the rest of you can fan out near or past the white line to capture 'um or draw them in. Either way, we'll win. I won't let anything less."
With that, though, Velway didn't wait for a reply. Instead, he started to stroll back towards the center stage of the events, waving his hand back to the group, indicating that no matte what the others thought of his little tactic, they might have to just live with it.
"I'm gonna go guard the slide area. You guys know what to do."
Yet, as he continued towards the safe point, August instead veered southward, towards the bench that the guy from earlier had tossed off his overcoat. As Conner suggested, August was to... borrow one of their teammate's things. Reaching the bench, Velway took a seat by the coat and relaxed, acting as if he was waiting for the first batch of invaders like a fool. But instead, his right hand was leaning inward to the jacket and grabbing hold of a pair of silver keys.
It was time for a joy ride.
Slipping the keys into his own jean pocket and dashing off towards the nearby parking lot, Velway reached the asphalt and started clicking wildly on the car alarm button, searching for the car. Eventually, he found it, and once behind the steering wheel with a wild grin on his face, August pulled out of park, revved the engine with a true sign of egotism, and bolted out onto the park, spewing grass and dirt in his trail. It only took a moment for the ride to reach the area that Velway left the team, and he hoped that only McGrath awaited him.
Zipping down the window and pushing his head outward, Velway yelled out to his bro, "Yo Conner, get your ass in here, we've gotta move!"
It was time for the real games to begin.

"Bull-shananagins! C'mon!"
Conner grinned as he pulled Felix over to the rest. Felix's comments caused Conner to smile again, already beginning to like Felix and his attitude. He almost felt bad for what they were going to do, but hey, that could be made up for later. Hell, maybe the crazy little bastard would find it as amusing as August and he does.
The chinese kid (cause all asians are chinese, don't ask stupid questions) on their team was doing the timing. He looked pretty serious, so Conner assumed that he would be the most likely person here to get pissed off at him besides Felix, but that was all dependent. Conner got a "batshit" vibe from him. If Felix got worked up enough, maybe he could party just as hard. As the other team ran, Li looked up from his watch, offering another question for the group with the exception of August, who was on his way to the bench.
"Would I fight if it came to it? Well, lets put it this way...if it doesn't, then I'll be the one doing the pushing and shoving."
Conner paused, holding Li's gaze a moment before speaking up again just after the timing was finished. "Alright! Felix, go round them up! Li, go ninja gaiden and find them all. Aina...show some skin if you have to. Whatever make them come out from hiding. I'll be here!"
Conner started beating his chest like a gorilla, half out of his own amusement and half to be strange and loud enough to prevent anyone from arguing or lurking around. Whether everyone was gone or not however, August would be back in a few more minutes, tearing up the park in Felix's car. Grinning at his friend, Conner leapt into the passenger seat. He flipped on the radio, catching The Ace of Spades half way through. Blasting the radio as loud as the car could go, Conner pointed forward, ushering August in a certain direction.
"Bushes! Fifteen points mu-fucker!"

As soon as Aryn shouted "GO!" Ryou was off like a bullet, he headed a different direction from his teammates, thankfully no one followed him, that made his plan a little easier. He reached the dense shadows of the trees overhead, as he weaved his way through, the way he was going through the trees was completely random, one direction one minute, then changing his route another minute he didn't want to set a direction that would be so painfully predictable and allowing him to get caught. He stopped and peeked from behind a tree, seeing where everyone's gaze was facing. Good, only one person was looking at at the direction he was, but it looked like that person was about to sneeze. As soon as the sneeze was let loose, Ryou ran across the path, and reached the trees once again.
He continued to run, while at the same time looking above and around him, good the trees here were dense enough to hide his presence. " Time to go monkey." he muttered, as he began climbing up one tree. He made it up the tree easily, mainly because when he was younger, he used to climb trees all the time with his sister. He paused on a branch that was pretty high, it gave him a good bird's eye view if any hunter came his way. He looked around, and saw that some of the tree's branches almost criss-crossed with the tree right beside it.
Good, if he needed to move, he could tree-hop his way around, and head for the slide. Most likely though, someone was bound to be guarding the slide, so he'd have to watch out for that too. He looked overhead, the sun was starting to set, soon darkness would cover the entire field, and he'd have to rely on the moonlight to help guide him to safety. Can you say shit? Whatever. Ryou nestled down comfortably on the branch, or he would've, had he not heard the familiar sound of a...car?
" A car? Oh shit..." he cursed in his mind, one of the hunters had stepped up the game, now a car had been thrown in the mix. This complicated matters, if he wasn't careful, he'd be captured instantly, nobody, and I mean nobody, could outrun a freakin' car. Ryou sighed, his hand in his pocket playing around with his phone, which was on Vibrate, last thing he needed was a phone call that surrendered his position to every hunter. Hopefully, the car didn't head his way, but headed the opposite way that he was.
