(I couldn't think of an opening, sorry. )
The day of the date had finally arrived! Aina had been on many dates for obvious reasons, but had never been so excited for one in a very long time. The busty blonde had barely even noticed her odd happiness to this date, but if she did, she would have probably been quite confused as to why she would be feeling this way. After all, it's not like going on dates was something odd for her to do. Maybe she liked Adam? Well, maybe. But then again, she could just like him as a good friend, right? Well, it was a topic she would have to explore and find the answer on her own. It's not like all that mattered right now anyway. She mostly just wanted to have fun with a guy she seemed to like.
Aina prepared herself so that she could look marvelous(not that she ever looked bad anyway) by taking a nice long shower, placing her hair just right and spraying herself with a nice soft perfume. Aina's hair was mostly loose except for her two little side ponytails that she added for extra cuteness. Her clothing consisted of a loose black flowy skirt that ended a few inches over her knees; her top was a sleeveless skin tight black shirt that stopped about an inch over her belly button. Oh yes, black was her thing. But that was mostly because of her idol Mae-Lim. She wanted to be just like her, but since Mae had the dark hair and light clothing; Aina decided that she would be like her opposite with light hair and dark clothing. Well, all that was left was make-up, and this she was an expert at. Didn't take her too long but she did what she needed to do; a bit of dark eye shadow, a thin line of eye liner and enough mascara to show off her long and luscious lashes.
Finally! The busty blonde was done what she had to do! The doorbell soon ran about fifteen minutes later. It was probably him! Excited as she was, Aina slipped on her black slip on shoes and made her way down her long elegant stairs. Just entering her home, you would be able to feel the richness. Aina was no poor girl after all.
The Swedish girl opened the door, so happy to see her date. "Shall we go?" she immediately asked, giggling as she walked out the door, closing it behind her and placing her arms around his one large one.

OOC: No worries, it's much better than what I would've come up with. IC: For once, Adam had arrived early. It was a strange occurance for him, but the fact was, he had no idea how to get ready for such an occasion. His hair was exactly the same as usual, falling down in front of his eyes, and he had on his trademark trenchcoat and finglerless gloves. The key difference, however, was the fact that his usual tanktop had been replaced by a black T-shirt. The additional material was difficult to get used to, but Adam had compromised on the fact that he would look presentable, while still being able to move freely; an important for his fight-oriented mind. Even with his gloves on, however, a thin layer of nervous sweat was had formed on his palms, his hands gripping the steering wheel of his car more tightly than usual. Calm down, calm down. It's just a raffle-date, after all. It's not like she's expecting anything grand. The reasoning was surprisingly sound for the simple-minded Senior. The moment he had pulled up to the house, he'd seen the massive difference in wealth between what he earned and what Aina's family seemed to have, a fact that made him very self-conscious. However, with his thoughts from before giving him newfound confidence, Pain Killer made his way out of his car and up to the door, taking a deep breath before pressing the doorbell. Thankfully, Aina answered the door rather than her father/mother, sparing Adam the embarassment of having to figure out what to say to them about the date. The blonde girl's giggling caused Pain Killer to smile, the large male likely just as thrilled to see Aina as she was to see him. ...Wow. She looks better than usual."Sure thing. You look good, Aina." A light flush of the cheeks appeared on Adam's face as Aina held his arm, something he tried to hide by pretending to cough in the other direction. Walking fairly slowly back to his car, Adam hesitated briefly at the driver's side, almost debating whether or not to say the piece of crap wasn't his car. "Mmm... This is it." A slight frown would form on his face, though whether or not Aina responded, it would disappear soon enough. However, having no real experience with this sort of thing, Adam would let Aina get into the car on her own, unless she were to give him some sort of hint that he was to open the door for her. Regardless, afterwards he would get in the driver's seat, turning on the car and then, turning to Aina. "Well, I was thinking we'd go to the movie first, so that we don't miss it if dinner goes too long. I guess this way, we can also head to that group date, if you want. I don't mind either way." As Aina answered, Pain Killer would reverse out of the driveway and start heading out, listening quietly as she did while he drove to their first stop on the date.

She blushed, giggling softly, a smile on her face. "Awww, like you're so sweet!" Actually thanking someone for a compliment, well that was different. Usually she would just agree with them and walk off or something. Well, he was a friend to her, so she was probably just acting like a friend instead of a stuck up rich girl. Which she was.
Well, the car was not perfect, but what could she do? Not everyone could afford good cars anyway. She would just have to deal with it. Plus, he was her friend, so she might as well be okay with it instead of start a giant speech of how she would never enter a piece of crap like she usually did. She just decided not to say anything about the car to be polite. Aina just opened the door and sat in, tying her seatbelt. Adam soon came in himself and spoke to her before starting the car. "Oh, like, sure thing." she smiled. "Sounds like it'll totally be a blast!"
The drive wouldn't take too long, so Aina decided to make at least a bit of conversation before they got to their destination. "So, um, like what movie are we gonna see?" she asked, curious about it. There had been a number of good movies out so there was no chance that they would end up seeing something bad.

For a moment, Pain Killer didn't respond, as surprised as he was that the movie choice was up to him. As new as he was to the whole "date scene", he'd figured that Aina would have had a movie in mind, making the occasion much easier for him to go along with. Instead, it seemed he'd have to wrack his brain to try and remember a commercial with a seemingly good movie playing.
"...Uh, I heard 'Slasher Four' was supposed to be good. I've never seen the first three, though, but I guess it wouldn't matter for a movie like that."
Despite the fact they'd only been driving for a few minutes, Adam could already see the movie theatre, reminding him just how close Aina apparently lived to their destination. Certainly not a bad thing, of course, but it would mean that they'd either sit in silence for another thirty seconds or so, or he could attempt to fill the air with more conversation. Despite his natural tendancy to do the former, Adam decided to attempt the second option.
"But, you know, if the movie's too scary, we could always see another one."
While his tone might not have changed from its usual serious sound, the hints of a smile on the self-proclaimed Pain Killer's face suggested he was teasing, something he was beginning to get the hang of these days. However, as he was already pulling into the parking lot of the theatre, Aina would have time enough to answer before the car parked. The trip inside the theatre would be short, and likely uneventful, aside from the constant debating Pain Killer had going on in his mind. Once the two had gone inside and bought the tickets (using the money provided by Legion, of course) however, Adam would decide to take a risk. As soon as he had been given his ticket, and after handing Aina her own, he would extend his gloved left hand out to her, clearly offering to hold her hand as they walked to their particular theatre.
Regardless of whether Aina decided to take his hand or not, Pain Killer would pause once they were inside the theatre, his brow furrowing in concentration for a moment as he thought, before deciding to just speak his question aloud.
"Where do you wanna sit, Aina?"

"Scary? How old do you like, think I am?" she teased. " I'm totally sure I can handle it."
She giggled. She lied. She was dead afraid of scary movies. She never saw them alone, in fact, she only saw them if with friends, but even then, it scared the living shit out of her. But, just 'cause she was like that, she refused to show weakness at all, so she tried to tolerate things, whether she hated them or feared them. Well, usually, some things she just can't help but show weakness to, she was only human after all. Either way, she was acting tough and unafraid for now, but soon enough, she would be all chicken shit.
They parked now, Aina untying herself and opening the door. They walked inside the theater, she just walking beside him the whole time until they came to buying the tickets. At that point, she just stood behind him until he was done. At that point, she walked beside him again. Oh, but what was this? Was he handing out his hand to her? Oh ho ho ho ho. Now this was quite interesting. The busty blonde smiled, blushing softly as she took his hand.
Once inside, they stopped, she looking at him with her large blue eyes, puzzled. She actually had no idea why they had stopped and it seemed like he had to think about talking aloud.
"Oh, well, it's usually better to like, be near the middle right? The screen won't be like, too high or too low." she replied, tugging at his hand to come and walking with him, hand in hand to the direct middle of the theater. As she had said, the screen was just at a perfect position. "Good?" she asked, sitting down.

OOC: Sorry for taking so long. IC: "Good thinking." With a nod, Pain Killer followed Aina up the stairs, slightly surprised that Aina was so eager to go sit down. Of course, he wasn't complaining, either. There wasn't many other people in the theatre, something that the youngest living Rydell found to be a relief, as he hated crowds, which let the two have their pick of seating. As Aina spoke again, Adam would nod in response to her question, satisfied with their seats, and seeing no real need to say so verbally. Once Aina began to sit down, Pain Killer found himself with a small problem. To put it simply, he was too big for the seat, or at least, too big for someone to sit comfortably next to him, as his shoulders would invade the other person's space. It wasn't usually a problem, given how he never went to the movies in the first place, but today was an exception, and so, he'd need to find a way to fix it. Luckily enough, the simple-minded Senior had come up with a solution, something that any other person would have already thought of, but had required Pain Killer a full second to imagine. He sat to Aina's right, leaning back to put his arm over the back of the blonde's seat, thinking nothing of it other than the fact that now there was more than enough room for them both. In short order, the lights would go out, and the movie would begin. Inwardly, Adam began to prepare himself, determined to not seem the slightest bit scared when the horror began.

OOC: Over a month? Wow, a new record? I think yes.
IC:
She had not thought about it at first, but Adam was in fact way too big for the seats. At first she had no idea how the two would be able to sit beside each other, but it seemed like he had already figured it out. With another guy, she would refuse and play hard to get. With Adam? She let him place his arm behind her. She blushed slightly and leaned herself towards him a little so that her head and hand would be rested on his chest. He was nice and built, that was one thing she noticed; and, well, she liked it.
After they settled into their seats and got themselves comfortable, the lights went out and the screen began to flicker slightly as the movie began rolling. Oh god, was she so scared right now. Not scared of the movie, but scared and she would look, well....scared.
'This is like, SO not good. Like Oh Em Gee. I SO hope I don't look like an idiot. Like, that would be sooo embarrassing.' she thought.
Well, after all the stupid and boring previews, the movie started. And, well, the beginning was not quite soft and cuddly like some movies. It was sadly one of those that started out gruesome and terrible. So much blood and killing, pain and despair. It was way too much to handle. Aina couldn't help but let out small squeaky scream and jumping slightly, getting closer to Adam and grasping tightly onto his shirt. Every once in a while, she would even end up burying her face into his chest, almost afraid to even look at the screen and jumping at every gruesome scream from the movie.

OOC: No problem. I've made people wait longer. IC: As Aina leaned against him, Pain Killer found himself having a harder time breathing. He was positive she could feel his heart pounding, something that he wasn't used to unless he was physically pushing himself. After a moment or two of the movie previews, he looked down, noticing her scared expression and misinterpreting it completely. He wasn't sure what it was, but figuring it was probably the movie they were about to see, Adam set out to fix it. "Don't worry. It's just a movie. I wouldn't let anything happen to you." Giving her his best reassuring smile, Adam looked back towards the movie, as the previews had finally finished. The movie was much gorier than the youngest Rydell had assumed, his eyes narrowing as he concentrated on the screen and the almost non-existent story. Despite his "mental preperations" earlier, he found himself giving small jumps at a few of the surprising moments. However, it seemed that Aina was a little more frightened, pushing even closer and jumping as well. For no reason he could name, this action made Adam smile, and in the attempt of making it easier on her, his left arm would slide off the seat and fall around her shoulders, hopefully in a reassuring manner. Aside from that, however, Pain Killer would turn back to the movie and watch, having no idea of what else he was supposed to do on a date.

OOC: This thread will be finished! Now, back to work we go? :3
IC:
His words earlier had made her feel like she shouldn't be too scared of the movie and in a way it sort of helped. Well, not really. After about thirty seconds, she could not help but be even more scare then before. It's not like Adam was helping much though. Every little jump he would get from being frightened seemed to feed her own fear, making it worse and worse. It was now at a point where she was barely looking at the screen anymore. Just the sounds from the movie were enough to scare anyone. All she could hear were scream, stabs, chainsaws and flesh being ripped open. The worse part though was when she had seen the girl being killed. She screamed and cried at the same time, watching herself being torn apart. Wow, this movie WAS bad. Who the hell made this? That person sure was one screwed up guy.
Suddenly, an arm was placed around her shoulder. Aina jumped a bit by the sudden feeling but as soon was she looked at her shoulders and saw that the arm was attached to Adam, she calmed down, smiling as she laid her head against his shoulder. It seemed like it should be okay now. The more she thought about how he was kind and caring, the more her face turned a shade of red. her heart began to beat loudly, almost feeling like it was about to jump out of her chest. Her breath became short. She wanted to kiss him, but wasn't too sure as to how to advance him.
Well, she would let her instincts take place and hopefully things would go well? No! That was a stupid idea! What if he didn't get the message and wondered what the hell sh was doing? She would look like an idiot. Crap, what to do?! As random words flowed through her head, Aina decided to ignore her thoughts and act as she thought was best.
She sat herself up a bit more so that she could at least reach his face with her own; she then placed her hand onto his opposite cheek, pushing it gently towards her as she then pushed herself upwards to kiss him. Her soft lips touched his own, her hand was on his chest, her heart beating like a drum and her face becoming as flustered as possible.

OOC: Ask, and you shall receive. IC: Looking down at his date, the self-proclaimed Pain Killer felt his lips tug upwards for yet another smile as she lay her head against his shoulder. It was giving him feelings he hadn't known existed, and he wasn't sure of the importance he should give them. His eyes travelled back to the screen, figuring that while he attempted to understand this new situation he was in, he might as well stare at the screen rather than stare at her and give the wrong impression. So what now? Do I ask how she's liking the movie? Or shut up, since the movie's still on?Still carefully deciding what to do next, Adam was brought out of his musing by the hand gently placed on his cheek, guiding his head to face hers. The slight confusion on his face would quickly turn to surprise as Aina's lips pressed against his own, this being the very last thing he would have expected. His eyes went wide with shock, and in many ways he was terrified at this new form of intimacy, but in spite of this he found himself leaning into the kiss, responding to it. His right hand would slowly, tentatively go to Aina's far side, Pain Killer's instincts insisting he touch her and hold her, while his inexperience made him overly cautious and nervous. Once the kiss ended, Pain Killer would continue looking at his date, the movie long forgotten in his mind. "Ai-Aina... What was that for?"

OOC: Fear the short post IC: His reaction to the kiss seemed to have been better then she would have expected. The busty blonde had been really worried that Adam would not have reacted quite well and pulled away or such. But, as much as he did seem nervous, he did react in a positive way and Aina sure was relieved about that. She looked up at her date, still blushing like mad. The fact that he had questioned the kiss did make her think. What the hell would she tell him, that she just felt like it or that it seemed like the perfect time? No. That would be weird and corny. Really she had no real reason. She did more or less just follow her instincts then anything else. "I....I, well like...I like, think I'm starting to like you Adam. Like a lot." Aina replied, her head facing downwards. She was almost afraid to look at him or to see his reaction to her confession. But could you blame her? Aina was not a girl who usually felt like she did that night. Usually she would use men, manipulate them to do her bidding or to just look good with them beside her. She had told many guys she 'liked' them, but she had never meant it or felt afraid to see their reaction(this being as they usually fell for it); but now, as she spoke from the heart, it was kind of scary. She gulped in worry, her heart skipping a few beats. This was probably the most scariest thing she had ever done. Seriously, she could almost say that the movie playing before her was less frightening then this. Well, almost.

OOC: I fear nothing!
IC:
"...Seriously? Wow..."
The thought that someone actually liked him threw Pain Killer off guard, and he was desperately trying to make sense of all the things happening lately. To be honest, he didn't know how to respond. Was he supposed to say the same thing back? It certainly seemed that way. Did he feel the same? That was a harder question to answer. He certainly didn't dislike her, and in many ways he acted much different from his usual antisocial self when around Aina. Adam had purposefully kept himself from thinking too deeply about those sorts of things, but it seemed that now he was forced to.
"I'm pretty sure I like you too. I'd like to... uh... keep seeing you, you know, after this date. If you're okay with that."
He'd meant to actually stop talking after the first sentence, but the rest of the words just spilled out, almost of their own will. Hopefully, Aina would understand what he meant. The Rydell boy would lower his own head, bringing himself down to eye level with Aina, his own eyes peering out from underneath his hair to meet hers, genuinely curious with the answer she would give him.

She half expected this to all go wrong; and really, she was convinced that it would go that way. His first words didn't exactly help. At that point, she assumed that what he would say next was something like "I don't know what to say. But, I don't think I feel the same way" or anything somewhat like that. It felt like something was stuck in her throat, making breathing tougher to do. The short pause between the two felt like forever, making the situation more tense as the seconds passed. How much she kind of wished that she would have not even kissed him at all. Well, what was done was done and she would just have to live with whatever he would say. Negative or not.
She gulped again as he seemed to be about to speak again. At this point, she wasn't sure if she wanted him to hurry and speak up to get it over with or to just not say a thing. Man, this really was confusing.
As much as she expected his words to be negative; it seemed that she was wrong and for that, she was happy. He sounded a bit awkward saying what he had in mind but Aina had heard the message loud and clear and she was very happy with the results.
"I totally get it" she smiled, her bright blue eyes finally connecting with his own. "I would like, totally love that!" she exclaimed.
It was then that the theater guard came to them, shushing them for their loud talking.
"Shut it or you'll both be kicked out" he hissed.
"Sorry..." she whispered, giggling softly as she laid her head back on Adam's shoulder. Yup, this definitely turned out to be a good start of a date.

When Aina responded, the self-proclaimed Pain Killer grinned. It wasn't the arrogant or taunting smirk he was used to, but rather one caused by relief and happiness. No, Aina was far above having Adam smirk at her as he did to others in his mind, that sort of behaviour was reserved for trash like the usher, who earned himself a long look at the middle finger on Pain Killer's right hand, who didn't bother even looking at the man as he flipped him off.
Lucky I'm not here by myself, or I'd beat you into the ground.
Of course, the fact that Pain Killer wouldn't be talking if he was here by himself never quite crossed his mind. Regardless, as Aina settled back in on his arm, Adam's eyes drifted back to the movie screen, the film long forgotten and labeled as unimportant in his head. Even though he looked at the screen, his mind was wandering so much he hardly paid attention to anything going on in the movie, and the gruesome frightning scenes barely registered, causing little to no reaction.
What is this? It's warm...
It was the closest way to describe the feeling spreading through his body, something unfamiliar yet... pleasant. This very feeling would suddenly inspire an idea, however; even if he wasn't watching the movie, Aina could be. The corners of his mouth tilted up in a devilish smile as he waited for the film to reach another suspenseful moment. The moment the murderer jumped out of the darkness, Adam grabbed Aina's shoulder with the arm that was around her, not hard, but it would certainly be enough to shock her. It wouldn't take long to figure out who did it, and once she looked at him, Aina would see the youngest Rydell with a self-satisfied smile on his face, his eyes watching her mischieviously.
