Well, there's no worse feeling than laziness.
Was it feeling? Wasn't it more of a state of mind, or body? Yeah, it was probably the latter. Lethargic was exactly how Olivia was feeling as she lay on her back on the courtyard bench. She had to admit; she was a bit reluctant about moving down south at first, but the weather was nice. She'd been here a week, and it hadn't dropped below forty yet.
She hadn't made friends yet, either.
Olivia turned to the side, her back facing the back of the bench. She forced her thoughts away. So what? It was only the first week. People didn't really flock to new students here. If anything, new students were feared. The strange glances followed her everywhere, and she wasn't too sure about why. Was there a curse on transfers? She sighed and closed her eyes, letting the breeze carry her consciousness away.
Free periods rocked.

George was also on his free period, so all who knew him would know what that means... time for a musical break! He walked out of the front doors and into the courtyard. He took another bench which, just so happened, to not be very far from the lethargic girl.
He set his guitar case down on the bench and opened it, took out his "baby" and then closed said case. Putting the case on the ground under the bench, he sat down. He plucked the strings a few times, making sure everything was properly tuned, then strummed a sweet sweet chord.
He breathed deeply and leaned his head back, gazing up at the beautiful sky. He thought, "Dear sky... and the beautiful breeze caressing my skin... I play to honor your beauty!" He lowered his head again and closed his eyes with a smile.
And from his hands, a happy little tune was birthed into the air. He started tapping his foot with the tune and swaying his head, becoming fully immersed in its beauty.

Ryou sighed, letting all his emotions flow out at once. He was finally on his free period. " I thought I'd never reach my spare, thank God." he thought, as he walked down the hallway, and reached the door that led out to the courtyard. As soon as he pushed open the door, the sound of a guitar being played greeted him.
" Huh? Guess someone's playing a guitar." he said outloud, letting the door close behind him, announcing his arrival.
He walked into the courtyard, and sat down on the bench opposite a girl nearby. " Must be another transfer." he thought, opening his bag and pulling out his mp3 player, putting the earphones on, and letting the music take him away. He turned his gaze upwards, to stare up at the sky, watching the clouds drift by lazily. The sun shined down on him, turning his brown hair even lighter. Now this was a free period.

((Wish you'd just interact with each other already...)) Olivia's eyes fluttered awake, the noise waking her up. Eyes half open, she sat up, realizing she was no longer alone. There were two boys in the area, one of them playing the guitar. She looked in his direction, her curiosity piqued. She then took a quick glance-over at the other one, who seemed lazy, like Olivia was feeling. She frowned when she saw his headphones in. Perhaps the boy with the guitar was just playing for his own enjoyment, but it was still polite to at least listen to the man, instead of plugging into your own little world. But she's just weird like that sometimes. She just woke up. Staying seated, she looked over at the guitarist. He wasn't bad, but his notes didn't seem too organized, like he was winging it, but it still sounded good. That's what music is all about, right? Something that sounds good to your ears. When the boy finished playing, she'd clap, softly enough as to not make loud noises, but loud enough for the boy to hear. "Pretty good...."

(OOC: Forced interaction.)
It was Conner's free period.
Also known as applied mathematics, it was one of Conner's many free periods. If no one was forcing him to go to class, and the only way that would work was physically and even then it would be up to debate of the end result, then Conner wouldn't go whenever he decided he didn't want to. Conner decided to go outside, intending on enjoying the nice fresh air with a cigarette.
He leaned against the wall when he got outside, quickly flipping out a cancer stick and lighting it. It tasted terrible given its brand, since it was all he could afford. Conner made a mental note to take some of Seth's later. He had a fancy attitude, and he bet he smoked some good wacky tobacky. As Conner exhaled his first drag, he heard music being played further outside. He ignored it at first, but after it continued for a while he decided to pay the musician a visit.
Right after the guitarist would finish playing, the girl in the area would begin clapping. That only served to irritate the Horseman of War to an even further extent. He approach from the guitarists side, quickly moving in front of him and grabbing the neck of the guitar. Even if the man had expected it, Conner's strength would easily grab the instrument from the man. He'd take a step back, hesitating a moment as he looked at the man who had been playing. A moment later, Conner would smash the guitar into the ground, repeating the motion two more times until it was thuroughly destroyed.
"Ah... much better. Now that's Rock 'N Roll. No more strummin' to the bird's chirpin' now."
Conner tossed the broken guitar over his shoulder, unintentionally throwing the object directly at the boy with earphones, who Conner hadn't noticed earlier. He grinned at the musician, awaiting to see what kind of reaction he would get from those around him.
I hope he cries. That would be the shit!

(ooc: Sorry bout the shortness, working on a paper for my Music of Western Civilizations class as well.)
George smiled as the stranger clapped for him, he did a little bow and was about to thank her, when a larger man grabbed his guitar, smashed it, and then tossed it at the other guy who arrived with the headphones. George's smile didn't fade as he looked up at the "punk" who smashed his beloved instrument.
With a sigh he said, "Ya know... a simple 'boo' would've worked just as well..." Yet another lost soul who thinks violence is the key to everything. It was growing distasteful and, in all honesty, quite bland.
With his feet he scooted out his guitar case and said, "Well, if that testosterone is itching you so badly, why not smash this too?"

ooc:Mind if join
Alexio was quietly listening to the guitarist. His eyes were closed and he was simply relaxing. Then all of a sudden, the music suddenly stopped. His eyes quickly zoomed in on who stopped the music. There he saw a large man that destroyed the guitarist's guitar. His eyes turned into a glare knowing how expensive guitars happened to be. The guy was pretty good as well. And to end the music so quickly, Alexio wasn't that thrilled. He looked at the guitarist who had that giant infront of him. He then turned his attention to the dude with the ear phones. What a strange school he thought. He walked toward the destroyed guitar and picked it up and what other fragments he could gather. He then approached George holding those pieces.
"Sorry that this happened to your guitar."
He left the pieces by the guitarist's side and stood at that side next to him. The guy didn't really deserve his guitar being destroyed. He didn't really appreciate how that man destroyed it either. Then again, he appeared to be a punk. As he could easily tell. Alexio just looked at the musician waiting for his reaction to what that punk just did. What would he do anyways? Alexio pondered for a moment wondering what would be the musician's next move. If Alexio was in his shoes, his anger might of gotten to him and caused him to attack. But to see how he responded to the larger man's attack to his guitar, he wasn't really the type to engage in a fight. He seemed more of a pacifist than a fighter. Then again, appearances could always be deceitful.

Thwap.
The broken guitar found its way onto the girl's leg, the large curvy portion hitting the bottom of her foot. It bounced off the shoe and stayed, suspended in air for a moment before Olivia caught it and set it down softly onto the bench. That piece of shit. Although Olivia didn't show it, she was a bit more than irritated. After all, this crazy man came out of nowhere and smashed the poor kid's instrument. Well, Olivia supposed she should have said something before it happened, but the kid was quick and strong. Were Olivia a little bitch, she would have gone right up to him during his tantrum and shoved her foot up his ass, but she was just nice like that.
Don't nice guys finish last?
Olivia sighed, adjusting the sleeves on her black sweatshirt. Slowly, she began to walk over to the behemoth, deliberately taking her time. "Well, it's that time of month for me, and it looks like you need a kick in the balls. What do you say?" Olivia stopped a few yards away from the man, her expression even.
Yeah, it was a challenge.

These kids are either all new, or all stupid. Guess they haven't heard of Conner and His Amazing Friends.
Conner arched an eyebrow at the reactions. He didn't expect them to cower in fear, but he had expected some sort of recognition in their eyes. Since the staged fight with Mae-Lim, it had been a rare occurrence for someone to not recognize him, one way or another. Whether it was the guy who conned August, or the one who mutilated Ein Gilsin, his name had gotten around.
"If you insist."
Conner grabbed the guitar case as the player offered it to him, whipping it at the school wall. While it probably wouldn't smash it, it would crack it at least. Though he wouldn't admit it, yet at least, Conner liked the crappy musician's sense of humor. It almost made him sorry that he was being a bully, but only almost. Conner remembered how much he loved breaking things.
When he turned back towards the group, the girl began treading her way over to him. Conner cocked another eyebrow, wondering what her deal was. She then openly challenged him, forcing Conner to take a double take. He would have laughed even, if it wasn't that far fetched.
"What are you, high?" Conner asked, eying her before turning his head back towards the musician.
"You might want to hold your bitch back. She's aiming to get quite the spanking."

Although his earphones and music was on, Ryou could still hear the guitar playing, that is, until it was stopped abruptly. Ryou opened his eyes, and saw a guy, who he had heard about from around school. " Conner. he thought, as he saw him snatch the giutar and smash it repeatedly, before tossing over it shoulder, right at Ryou. The guitar fell, bounced, and landed right in front of his feet. Ryou sighed, what a waste of a beautiful guitar.
He pulled out his earphones, and stashed his mp3 in his bag, and bent down to pick up the guitar pieces, except another guy had beaten him to it. He looked up, and found himself looking at a new kid, it was like every week, a new kid showed up. Soon the school would be filled with new kids that outweighed the old students, sort of a theory he had thought up. He then got off the bench, and walked over, standing a bit off to the side, since a girl, another new kid he suppose, had stomped over and openly challenged Conner.
" Gotta admit, she has guts." he thought admirably
" But I hope she knows what's she getting into." He folded his arms the leaves on the trees blowing back and forth, casting shadows that wavered and danced on his face. He was here as an observer, just to watch what would happen, if anything, he'd rather not get involved, unless it was absolutely necessary.

ooc: since my topic was a bust, i'll join in ^_^
Jason was walking around the school, his Epiphone acoustic bass on his back. As he made the turn around the school, he noticed a couple people sitting around a bench. Jason looked and noticed something on the ground. His curiosity took hold of him and he approached them. As he got there, he noticed that the four students were picking up pieces of a busted guitar.
"What a waste of a nice instrument," said Jason to himself out loud in his irishy accent. Embarrased, he scratched his head and laughed.
"Ello' mates."
