You know, it's been a long while since we've had one of these random threads, and to be honest, I always find them more interesting than the Theme Songs idea. Nothing against it, I just feel embarrassed to place my own theme ideas on the board, since I know damn well they won't be on Youtube. Either way, I'll start off by posting my own monitor background. Now, if no one knows how to show your current computer screen, click the "PrtScn" button just above your "Home" key, then open up Paint, right click, and press "Paste." You'll now be able to make an image of your computer screen into something tangible. If that doesn't work, then clearly you're going through the hell I went through to do this back then on the first "backgrounds" thread. My computer's a little different in terms of that because of a default program, so I had to struggle a bit. Either way, here it is: no one could ever dislike the death of a Super Star Destroyer. Ah.... beautiful, ain't it?

Well, it's kind of like WoW one could say, but most will probably say it hasn't got the same feeling to it. It's more grown-up illustrated then the colourful world of WoW. There are a lot of quests going on and then I mean really a lot, the world looks astuning and the creatures you encounter are beautiful creatures. It does feel quite Tolkien like from time to time, but I don't always have that feeling. It's certainly a good mmorpg, with lots of options etc. but we can only wait and see if it truly is able to get close to equalling WoW...

Also, everyone needs to stop comparing MMO's to WoW, and start comparing them to Ultima Online. I've logged more hours into UO than most RPG's puttogether, squared.
Leon, the death of a superstar destroyer is a horrible thing, absloutley horrible. You dirty rebel bastard!

I got lord of the rings online cause I was there when they gave away closed beta keys... also, I'm just saying what I hear from people comparing it to WoW, I myself have never really played WoW too much anyway..

Taru, I haven't played WoW since Christmas, and I dropped it mostly because Scholomance was a major disappointment, my brother was coming home, and the old board was on the verge of death, so Liam issued the draft of all members to return to the front. Seriously, I'll probably end up playing WoW again eventually, but right now I'm in another boredom phase of it. Same reasons as before: it's just plain repetitive. Still, Ko's got every right to make fun of me; I was pretty inactive for about four months, and I didn't get more active on the board until Christmas. Oh, and I can agree Shamino. The death of a Republic Super Star Destroyer is a terribly sad thing; the death of Palpatine's sissy command ships, however, is absolutely awesome. And Odin's facts of still having the VG Cats of V for Vendetta makes me want to use my V background again...

Yea, I still play WoW, but I have to agree with my bro. It is so damn repetitive!! I really don't understand why I still play that game it's so annoying. Gears of War for the win!!!

Gears of war gets pretty boring after a while as well... at least it was boring for me... Oh and John... I hardly made fun of you... just a little... But I'm glad to see so many people haven't forgotten about the beauty of Battlefield...

I've played games programmed in BASIC that are more fun than WoW.
As for my background, it's just the windows default. I'm rather accustomed to it, and don't really see the point in changing it.
