First off, I don't think I really need to explain why I'm here. If the fact that I have invested at least twice as much time into XINRP than the people who are creating this site isn't enough, I only respected MJs authority. The very fact this site was created proves she has lost what little she had left, and so she has nothing to offer me.

Plus, for the record, I totally told her there would be fallout, and anyone who doesn't respect my opinions when such grave circumstances are mentioned shouldn't be in charge.

Unfortunately, this site is a train wreck waiting to happen. We cannot copy XINrp1.....the very fact that the site has fallen proves it is not a good model to carry on from, if not for the trouble we could get in on pro-boards. I see this an an opportunity to fix many problems the old site had. We have to deal with multi-generational gaps in members. Not to mention the fact that we have some people returning after long absences (finally, a true challenger to my crown has returned!) and we are going to inevitably lose people in the switch.

As such, I recommending the following solution. Start over. Work the site up storyline-wise from day one. Let character redo bios to show them back in high-school to remove the college mistake.

Generally, I want this thing to get back in touch with the goddamn subject matter, and I don't think thats a bad idea. Just rid everyone of their past fads and mistakes, and generally make the site better than the last one.

I doubt many will support my idea, but so far I see it as the only definitive way to solve all the problems we are going to have storyline wise because of the move. Effective immediately, I am officially removing the Endless Masses from Canon until this site gets things figured out. this means any event based on their existence is also under questionable canon.

Also, besides this point, we have to deal with a few other issues.

1. Someone needs to get in touch with lifepoint1 and explain what has happened.

2. Someone needs to update wikipedia.

3. We need to get the new administrative body figured out, notably get more than one admin. Since Laim is one, we need to have one who will be active during North American posting hours.

4. We need to figure out who is going to be here and who is not. So far the only subordinates I can count on (and a good reason for canceling the Masses existence, at least for now) are Aryck and Pain. The sudden absences will likely be crippling, but we still have to organize them to figure out what is going on.

If anyway can think of something else that needs to be done, I think this will be the place to post it.

Unfortunalty, that amount of activity isn't good enough. Midnight my time is 9 pacific time. You'd hae to be active until 5 in the morning regulerly to encompass a reasonable check on all North America.

With MJ's lack of activity with her schedule, we have been in need of a continuilly active presence on this side of the pond.

Also, I think people may want to address the main issue of this post.

Dude...Really, haven't you even been around when I'm online most of the time? Ask anyone here who can vouch similar, I don't sleep until 6-7am most mornings.....Hell, ask Kira, who I call after leaving the board (usually around 6-7am)...

I'm the same way most of the time as well Liam, but you know I'm saying the time zones for covience. Admin for this site is not a one man job, and you know it. I could understand that after recent events your not feeling like losing much controle, but the fact is your risking the site itself with this move, and it needs to be done right.

I never once said I was intending to do this on my own. That much you've mistaken there James.

I do, however, intend to take some time to consider who I am willing to trust. The newness of the forum gives me some respite in bearing it for a couple of weeks, and I would rather see that the best person, and not the first one that pops into my head, takes the position.

So yeah, it's being done right.

Also, I'm removing myself from consideration. I can't offer the stability the site will need right now, and as I always have been, I'm not exactly eager to accept liability anyway.

Right now, I would advise that Leon get the promotion. He doesn't have the administrative experience as the rest of the mods, but right now you'll have to make a somewhat authoritarian role until things are stable, and that means your going to need confidence from the sight members. We all know that Leon is the social butterfly of the staff, and his talents are best suited for the current situation.

Furthermore, if those of you who are enjoying the MSN chats about the situation could keep me informed, I would like that. I don't think anyone can say I don't have the right to at least know what is going on, even though I'm not getting much of a say.

Also, couldn't this have been postponed for a bit? y event was supposed to start next week....all those months of work gone in an instant

I agree with your point of returning to the origional subject matter, King. Seeing as how all of the slates have been wiped clean with the deletion of the last board, it would be very logical to reset all characters and storylines. Moving an entire school cross country isn't practical, and this site preaches realism.

Also, I have no take on the situation of who should be appointed to power and why, so don't take anything I've posted here to reflect on that.

It's good that you said something AL, because from what I heard the mods are assuming everyone else wants to go with the transfer.

Also, I haven't said this yet, but I also consider it a moral issue to start over. I believe in subjective morality, so I don't expect everyone to feel the same way about it. I for one am losing much from a blank slate too. I have gone through a graduate and have spent months working in the backgorund and barely posting so I can get an event set up, only to hae to cancel it days before it starts.

I feel obligated to do this, and will remain on the site regardless of everyones decision, but I HAVE to make this arguement.

Well, This move could be a great twist for story-line characters such as King and Shamino, as I see it anyways. They could've already been here before a vast majority of transfers after the closing of Varron. Most likely the population of the old school would be scattered across the country, the NPC's being sent to other schools then our characters. Our characters, perhaps being the worst offenders or most looked after in terms of ability, would be transfered to one school, perhaps the best for our situation, in order to remain in tact.

And it could just so happen that King and Shamino, who had previous left, were already here.... That seems like a good way to start over.

At least, this is an opinion of mine on how things could go.

We'd have to work out just how others ( I.e.: Kira, Hikari, and the lower-standing people in terms of fighting ability) would be included in this. I don't see how unless they requested the transfer to that specific school.

Allies of these character, such as Kira and Hikari, could be considered threats because of their social standing amongst the groups. Their ability to persude someone might come into effect.

Or they asked for it. Either way.

And that's nice to know Shamino, especially with an explanation.
