OOC: You may want to specify which leg your using next time.
Sedrix managed to step away from the powerful strikes and towards his side. He had expected this. Sedrix was quick and powerful and he had stamina, but Victor knew how to use this against him. He decided he would strike fast and hard, and once again he had a prime opportunity.
Sedrix began to throw two jabs at his face and stomach. Victor could see the muscles in his legs tense up and that meant he was going for a kick as well. Chances were that he would only throw it if the punches connected, so Victor's idea would only work if he took some damage.
"Easy does it." Victor thought. "That kick is just what I need."
He dodged the jab by leaning backwards and then the hook came. Just as it was about to connect, Victor gently turned his head to one side. Rather then crashing against him, the punch slid off of his cheek, barely doing any damage. The trap was set. Now to spring it.
As the roundhouse kick came, Victor slid towards Sedrix' leg and thrust out his palm towards the knee which was very vulnerable during a roundhouse kick. He had already hurt Sedrix' other knee. If this connected, he could disable his kicks. At the same time, he performed a joint kick towards his opponent's standing leg with his right leg. Once again, it was a simultaneous strike with his speed, this time aiming for both knees at the same time.

ooc: I did ;D "a sharp right roundhouse kick", and a comment on yours... not a major issues, but to see 'my leg tense up' would imply i am not wearing trousers... just thought i'd ask As Sedrix's mad fists pummeled at Victor, a few were dodged. Sedrix was begining to loose his combo. He needed something too connect. He sent another hook, this time it skimmed his cheek slightly. Though it was not a great hit, it would throw of his concentration, he went for it. Flinging his planned roundhouse. Victor used his speed to hastily dodge and send out another double. Aimed at both legs, this could disable Sedrix's strongest point. Sedrix moved quickly. Retracting his right leg, to oavoid the palm hit. He twisted around, and bounded off the ball of his left foot. Avoiding the kick completely. He had dodged both successfully, and landed not a metre away. This was an oppertunity too attack. One of Victors legs was elevated, which should disable balance. Sedrix moved in, moving low down. He got close, and lunged upwards, sending a powerful right uppercut Victors way. As he did this, his left arm started a fist at Victor's stomach. A two pointer, taking a tip from Victors style. This is hard to block, and nearly impossible too dodge. He smiled as he moved in. If anything is too hit, it should be this, it was a good offence indeed.

He dodged it again? No problem. Victor was a very patient person when it came to combat.
Sedrix leaped back and charged at him again, this time launching an uppercut and a jab at the same time. So he was taking a page from his opponent's style? Not bad.
Victor decided it was time to switch tactics. He had been using his Shotokan form for most of the fight and now it was time to switch to the army form his father had taught him. Unlike the Shotokan form which was half self defense and half combat, the close quarters combat forms were pure combat and designed for any situation. Time to stop holding back so much.
Victor reached out with both of his hands and seized Sedrix' powerful arms. With a snarl, Victor viciously twisted them upwards while bringing his elevated leg down. He wasn't going to do anything Shotokan based now. Now he was in pure combat mode.
As he twisted Sedrix' arms upwards using his own arms, Victor lunged forward with the speed of a snake snapping at it's prey. He intended to use the twisting motion of his own arms to force apart Sedrix' guard while using a direct take down to knock his opponent onto his back. As he fell with Sedrix, he would land on him knee first and drive a one knuckle punch to his stomach area with his right hand before he could block again. The short distance between them combined with the force of the downward punch into such an area would be utterly devastating to say the least.

'well...i don't think anyone suspected that.' Sedrix thought as Victor suddenly became more vicious. His move was blocked at both points with moderate ease, which was disappointing indeed, but he did not loose focus. Victor stepped into him again, this time grabbing both his arms by the wrist.
"Interesting..." Sedrix said, cooly, calmly, "But you are still working against my biggest advantage." Sedrix tensed his arms, brining his forearms to his biceps, and his triceps close to his chest. He had the strength advantage in positioning too, locking them into place. He stopped his arms from moving up altogether, and the inevitable combo that would have followed.
As Victor's grip loosened with the realisation of this failed move, Sedrix moved. He had this built up strength from the tensing of his muslces. He went for a short kick to the back of the knee first, which he did not expect to work whatsoever, but the purpose of which was too throw of guard. Be it a block, dodge, or even if it hits, he would fling out both arms from his chest, and power them into Victor's upper body.
There were disadvantages and advantages to this move. Advantages being power and speed, which were all good, but in probability of failure, he was little to defend himself. in realisation of this, he bent his knees slightly, to prepare for a dodge if there is a chance of blocking or dodging.

He was expecting a block or a dodge, but he would get neither. The close quarters combat form's basic rule was that the entire body was just one big target and now Victor was beginning to see points of all kinds to strike at.
Sedrix launched a roundhouse kick at the back of his knee and Victor slid forward while seizing Sedrix' leg with both of his arms. As stated above, the body was just one big target and now it was time to take advantage of that.
Victor viciously tightened his grip on Sedrix' leg and twisted it upwards in a quick circular motion over his head while moving back out of his reach. It was a classic army technique: force your opponent to drop onto the ground by flipping them over, then deliver a stomp kick to his stomach. If the spinning motion was successful along with his movement, Sedrix would be flipped onto the ground with no chance of avoiding the stomp kick which Victor would be perfectly positioned for.

It seemed Victors style had not adjusted to the fact Sedrix was good at avoiding grapples. His low kick went for the back of his knee, when Victor grasped it and tightened his grip for another inevitable throw. The same sort of technique can be used here. Sedrix's foot was close enough to the ground for him to place it there in a second or so. Once he had done this, he knealt on it, pushing his weight onto that knee and leg, so now, if the throw was to still take palce, he would have to lift his entire body, rather than just his leg.
With this kneel came a step forward, and he was now quite close to Victor. He would go for nothing flashy, just a firm, strong, right armed punch aimed at his midsection. This should encounter well, and give him a chance to get back on his feet, and get his guard back up. He kept his left arm close to his chest and face for blocking, for there was little chance of dodging in his current position.

OOC: Sorry for the late reply! It seemed Victor couldn't rely on throws to take Sedrix down, so he'd have to try a different tactic. Once again, he'd have to sacrifice a bit of stamina, but it would allow him to get close enough to Sedrix to perform an incredibly dangerous strike. "Coming at me with a punch." Victor thought. "Not bad. He used by own move against me."A powerful punch came directly at him and Victor rotated his body to the left side while sliding forward again. This time however, he couldn't dodge it entirely and Sedrix' knuckles cracked against his stomach. Victor gave a small grunt of surprise as pain lanced up his stomach, but his body was tough and he could take it. "Too bad Sedrix." Victor thought. "One thing you should remember about me: never let me get too close to you when I switch tactics."Now that he was in Sedrix' guard again, he would go for a technique that was not just subtle, but designed for one purpose: to finish the duel quickly. Victor began to reach out with adder-like speed with his left hand at Sedrix' throat. It was designed to fool him into thinking it was a strike, but once Victor got close enough to his throat, he wasn't going to strike there. He would seize Sedrix' throat in his powerful grip with his left hand, then drag him forward and deliver a hammerfist strike to the crown of his head with his right hand. It was subtle, brutal, and effective.

Sedrix's punch took contact, but again did not do as much damage as hoped. It was a good shit to the gut, but Victor was dodging at the time, so took most of the impact, and did not take much damage. It seemed Victor had finally taken Sedrix's experienced counters into mind, and stepped in, switching stance.
It seemed Victor was going for a strike to Sedrix's neck, Sedrix leant his body back to narrowly miss to strike, but the strike came further, and twisted into a clutch. He grabbed Sedrix's neck firmly, and threw over his right hand, aimed at the side of his head. Sedrix's left arm was still guiarding his chest from the previous movev, and he moved it up, and grabbed the fist. It gave his palm a shirt, sharp shot of pain, but he kept his grab firm.
He swung up his right arm from his previous attack, and swung it at Victor's left arm, he clutched his forearm, and tried to jerk it off his neck with a sharp strike. If he did manage to pry off Victors arm, he would be in decent position for a good kick, with both of his arms held, he would send a powerful front kick to his chest, and only let go of his arms if it encountered, anif it did not, he would attempt a simply throw, to let him get back, and get some time.
However, if he couldn't fail Victor's grip, he would ge in trouble. He would twist his entire upper body back, while raising his right leg. He would send a sharp kick to his chest again, this time trying to fail Victor's reach, and send him back, but this would mean he would have to give up his plan of grabbing both arms.
