After Hircine High finished school, Kit dashed off to the forest under the Golden Gate Bridge. He went to a nearby tree and hung his bag from a branch, sitting down under it, beginning to think, "I've got a decent amount of speed on my side, along with an okay defense, I think. My power could use some work though. Hmm, what's that thing some of the figthers do in order to power through an enemy's defense? It's as if they put more force behind the attack, breaking through the guard."
Kit got up on his feet, looking at a lower branch, just in reach of his Ragnarok Upper, at about his chest height. He jumped back and used his Ragnarok Upper on the brach, but he aimed closer to the tree this time. He thought, "Let's see, the closer to the tree, the stronger the branch is. Maybe if I hit it..." He struck the branch extremely closer to the trunk of the tree. But, when he tried to put more power behind his uppercut, he lost balance and fell, slamming his face into the tree trunk, "Ow." He got up, rubbing his nose, then tried again. This time, when he struck the branch, he shifted his stance so that he was almost directly under the uppercut, then began to push upwards.
He felt a lot of tension as he continued to try and push upwards with his fist. Eventually, the tension quickly loosened as the branch broke at the connecting point. Kit launched himself into the air with the amount of power he put behind his attack. He sat down again, beginning to think again. Unfortunately, the branch his backpack was on broke, the backpack falling on the back of his head, landing on the middle of his back, "Ouch..."
