In Varron, the woods were the place of Jellar's calm. He spent most of his spare time outside of home there, and he hoped it would be the same when he resided in Hircine High. The first thing he would have to do is get in the woods, the forest, and explore. He walked into the woods with caution, alert of all other forms of life. It was rather cold as well, and thus Jellar was wearing his hoodie over his white t-shirt and jeans. He trod into the woods and continued walking, pressing deep into the depth of the forest, each step making a silent sound in the grass.
It wasn't so bad.
Of course, Jellar preferred Varron's woods better, but that was simply because he was already acquainted with those woods. In maybe a month or two, Jellar felt that he could like this forest more than the one back in New York City. It was pretty cool, all in all. He let his sense of alertness go down and stood in a small clearing, the wind blowing rustles into the grass and swaying the branches of the trees. In about thirty minutes of walking, he had finished familiarizing his home.
He decided to sit down, taking in the nature and relaxing. This new environment of Hircine was going to take a while to adjust to. He had yet to encounter any of his friends from Varron yet, but that was not so bad. In any case, it might have been in Jellar's interest to befriend some of those from Hircine.

Unlike himself Jazz decided to take some time out of his work on the Oasis project and take in some of the sights that the city offerd. The first place that he thought of was of course the forest. Having spent alot of his life in the woods at Varron and also having spent alot of time training in the widerness before going to Varron, He flet a pull to this place.
He popped the car door open and stepped out into the almost black of night. The distant sound of cars and such like in the back ground was almost impossible to hear, except by someone who was so in tune with nature as he was. He took one glance at the trees bending a tad in the wind and half grinned. He turned back to his car and pressed the key fob, Locking the door.
He began his decent into the night. He flet twigs and small branches brush againt his skin and could feel the ground squelch a little underfoot. This was what he had been looking for the last ffew weeks. He knew that he would not have been the first person to come here, He knew that other people from Varron were transferd here yet still didnt know who.
He pierced deaper into the forest, light quickly sinking into darkness behinde him, Untill he came to a quiet clearing. The grass underfoot was fresh and the wind blew a gentel breeze through the place which made Jazz feel more at home. He sat himself down in the center of the clearing and pulled a fresh pack of smokes from his Denim jacket pocket and lit it up. The fumes disapeard into the night sky and Jazz let himself fall back and gaze upon the stars, remembering all the good times he had in Varron, and the adventures to come in San Fran.

Albeit Jellar had not heard the man's footsteps into the forest, the click of the lighter had given off two things. Obviously, someone was here, and obviously, someone was smoking. One of those two things was not very pleasurable for Jellar. The urge to confront this man that Jellar had not yet seen was overwhelming his desire to avoid conflict, and so Jellar stood up and headed toward the sound of the click from the lighter.
The sound of the click and the smell of the rising smoke brought Jellar right back to the clearing that he had confronted earlier in his walk. His sight at a prime, Jellar recognized the man to be Jazz. He was Varronian alright, but Jellar had had little chance to socialize with this man. Well, first thing was first: He was going to confront Jazz about the smoking.
Walking silently, but unable to mask the sound of the crunching grass, Jellar made way to the edge of the clearing. Jazz's back would be facing him, so unless he had eyes on the back of his head, he would not see Jellar. To him, a voice would ring out from behind, familiar or not depending on his memory.
"The smoking that is destroying your lungs is also destroying nature," Jellar said, quite simply. He of course was not a big fan of smokers. Had they been better friends, Jellar would have snatched the cigarette from his mouth like he did to Bruce all the time, despite his persistence in smoking.
However, Jellar decided to bring up a more light-hearted topic before Jazz could respond.
"The Hircine woods are decent, aren't they?"

Pulling a long drag from his smoke he gazed up at the sky once more with the purple/ Blue smoke fading into the night sky. He was in a total state of relaxation with himself, something that Jazz had found hard to do since his move from Varron and with all of his work on his new project.
Jazz could hear the sound of fient footsteps comming closer and closer to him. It had become very apparent that these woods, Not unlike varrons, Had become very popular with students and ex students alike.
The footsteps came to a hault, yet Jazz did not turn, they didnt realy sound like the footsteps of a person who wanted conflict. A voice called out to him, Telling him to basicaly stop smoking and that it was hurting theforest along with himself. Jazz grinned before spinning round.
''The hircine woods are decent, arnt they?''
The vioce called out once more. Jazz night vision being what it was, Was very quick to put a name to the face that was standing with him. The kid was a Varron transfer student.
''They are that, so much clearer aswell do you not agree?'' Jazz said wandering over towards the guy. He didnt actualy know the guys name but had indeed seen him around the school before things went tits up.
He took one more drag from his cig and placed the dud end on the ground, stomping it into the ground.
''I take it you know me then, coz i sure as hell recognise you.'' He said in jest to the bloke.
''Names Jazz...'' He said as he extended his hand.

"Actually, we've met before," Jellar said, taking his hand anyways.
They had indeed already met. They had a two on two sparring battle back in the Varron woods with JT and Tank, in fact. Jellar felt that he had met him on another occasion as well, but he couldn't quite remember exactly when. However, Jellar took his hand and gave a firm tug regardless. This man not have had as refined a memory as Jellar had.
"But it seems you don't remember me. Name's Jellar Feint, a junior," he responded. He took his hand back after shaking and looked at the clump of cigarette now interred into the grass. 'So much for helping the nature,' Jellar thought, clearly disapproving of Jazz's actions. At least he hahd stopped putting himself on the way to lung cancer. Making a note to clean up the cigarette on the ground later, Jellar decided to continue the now-started conversation.
"So how is Hircine treating you?" he asked. For Jellar, it wasn't all too great, but it would be possible to adapt. He was curious to how other Varronites were getting along, and this one be the first example, hopefully.

ooc: Sorry its a bit short but its kina a rush job
Jazz squinted at the kid, trying to remember his face. His name rung a big bell in his head but if you have seen one varropn kid then you have seen them all for the most part.
''No no...I cant say if i remember you at all Jellar, Im sorry to say. Ive been out of Varron for a long time and dont intend to go back anytime soon.'' He chuckeld
''That place was a waste of my time, All that happend there was people go into fights, friends got killed yada yada yada.''
He noticed jellar looking down at where his smoke had been stomped out with an unaproving look on Jellars face. He was apparently one of those nature freeks. Not that it bother Jazz at all, Infact he held people like jellar in high reguard and though that there wasnt enough people like that left in the world.
He shrugged and glanced over to his left hand side, thinking that he could here a noise in the distance, One that cought his attention. He thought it sounded like footsteps but he couldnt quite tell.
He glanced back when jellar asked his how Hircine had been treating him.
''Well i guess its been okay here. The fact that i have only just got here dosnt say much though. I came here because i heard that there were people from Varron here that i knew....Obviously i was right.'' He said with a chuckel again.

'Waste of his time, he says,' Jellar thought to himself, knowing that his statement was all too true. Varron was indeed a big waste of time. Education was supposed to be provided at a school, but Varron Academy did a poor job of doing such. His life there was effective, but inefficient. To deem it a waste of time was not at all incorrect.
Jellar gave about three-fourths of his attention to Jazz as his eyes wandered through the green forest. The idea that Jazz had came here just because other Varronites had come as well was somewhat preposterous. It was a large waste financially, and furthermore, if he had already graduated from high school, it would be more proper to seek out a college to find a direction in life. What were you going to do if you sat around fighting all day long and stuff? That wasn't going to put food on the table unless you were in special circumstances.
Jellar decided to investigate this mindset. He wanted to know exactly how this type of person thought. Why did they come to Hircine? If it was simply because of jumping on the bandwagon, then Jellar would deem the person in front of him a sincere idiot. He took a deep breath before continuing the conversation, choosing his words carefully, now paying full attention to Jazz.
"Haha," he laughed lightly, "Just because some Varronites came here from a mysterious Hircinian invitation? I'm sure that there are better things to be done now that you're out of the high school, which I assume you are, right?"

Jazz was shocked that Jellar would jump to such a conclusion about him. Of course the poor guy didn’t know him one bit and had no reason to understand why Jazz was out in San Fran in the first place. As Jellar spoke to him Jazz raised his head and cocked it to the side slightly and almost half grinned.
‘’Jellar….You are a smart kid, But you jump the gun way to much. You let your mouth do the thinking for your brain, But of course you have every right to be curious right now. I don’t tend to give much away about my dealing’s here.’’ He said as he placed his hand on Jellars shoulder.
‘’You didn’t know to much about me back in Varron either. If you took the time to look me up you would find that I am quite well known all over the states and Japan. My father, Before his life was taken, Was the chairman and owner of Tamashi Tech industries. That my boy is where just under half of the U.S’s pharmaceutical drugs come from. The fact that my mother and father are both dead left the company in my hands. Anyway the long and short of it is that I am expanding the west…here for lack of a better term. If you looked me up you would find a massive construction project going just outside of town. Its called the ‘’Oasis Project.’’ So called because its in the middle of the desert. The reason that San Fran jumped out at me was, as I said, I know people I can trust here. That’s all I can tell you for now.’’
Jazz now removed his hand from Jellars shoulder and folded both of his and lowered his head so that there eyes met again. Jazz grinned a warm grin so as Jellar would realise that he was not a stuck up toff like a lot of the more well off folks around the place.
‘’Now, I hope you have learned to think before you speak my friend other wise you could end up in bother. Not from me, I don’t fight much anymore, Infact I kina gave it up.’’
Jazz glanced down waiting for Jellars response.

'Now who's the one making the assumptions now?' Jellar thought, listening to Jazz as he went on about Jellar's 'jumpy' attitude and about his great 'Oasis Project.' Jellar had not assumed that about Jazz, although his words might have given an impression of that. His plan, in the end, worked out well. His words provoked a defense Jellar's own statement which in turn let Jellar know why Jazz was here. Obviously, he was different from the normal crowd. The only thing Jellar did not really like about what Jazz was saying was his expectation for Jellar to look him up. It wasn't like Jazz was being investigated by Jellar. It was a small sign of self-conceit.
Satisfied with the reaction, Jellar decided to play along with the setting Jazz set up. "Ah, my bad," he said, eying the shoulder that Jazz had put his hand on. He was tense in that moment, ready for any sudden hostile movements, but the time passed and Jazz retracted his hand, allowing Jellar to cool off a bit. In any case, Jellar was now curious about the Oasis Project, but it seemed that Jazz did not intend to divulge any more information, so he dropped the subject.
However, Jellar did like the idea that Jazz gave up fighting. It was a sign of maturity, and because he was taking the role of heading the 'Tamashi Tech' industries, his hands would be full, or so Jellar thought. 'Such a large industry, yet he has time to chill in the forest? That must be a great job. Luxurious and great-paying. Not exactly what I did back in Varron, but whatever.'
Jellar looked up into Jazz's eye, making eye contact. His naturally half-squinted eyes may have looked intimidating which may have made his following words seem rather awkward. "Ah, that's good. Fighting doesn't solve much on a small scale," he said, knowing that most of the fights that has revolved around him accomplished close to nothing. When he said small scale, he meant on the scale that he was living around. A large scale would have been an international war or something of the sort. That kind of stuff solves lots of things.
Feeling the need to further continue the conversation, Jellar spoke up with a lighter tone. "So, going through a project for such a large company of Tamashi Tech industries is just a bit more than coming to Hircine High for just a bunch of friends," Jellar said, giving a weak attempt to provoke any more information out of Jazz. He was an interesting guy with a great background. The idea that his parents' death left him with a large company was rather odd. He thought that another older and more experienced candidate would take over. Maybe Jazz was more capable than any of those others.

Jazz looked on with intent, He was curious about this kid. For the sole reason that he was curious about him which almost made him uneasy. Jazz nodded his head to Jellars comment and agreed that fighting was not the way to solve problems.
‘’Yeah I guess you are right Jellar, However don’t for one minute think that I wouldn’t fight if I had to. I just don’t fight for the sport of it anymore like back in Varron when we took part in the tourney’s. If provoked however then I will defend myself.’’
His words almost sounding like a warning to him. Almost reinforcing the fact that he had better not try anything out here with Jazz. Not that Jazz got the impression of distrust from him personally he just finds that he has to be on his guard around curious people, Trying to find information out about him.
Jellar moved onto the fact that Jazz was out here. Jazz found this very odd indeed and thought that he had better take a step back in his mind and try and get Jellar off of that topic. Once again this was worrying for him.
‘’Look man, I don’t mean to sound like a dick but just told you that it was by sheer coincidence that I am out here as well as some of the Varron students. The Oasis project is really a classified project for the moment, In the way that I don’t wan to draw massive attention to it. However if you want a job working on the site or for the company then pass your C.V into the site manager and he will forward it to me.’’
Jazz took a breath to calm himself. ‘’So! What are you doing out here then. Anything of interest?

'Sounds like me,' Jellar thought, listening to Jazz's input on fighting. He had fought in two tournaments, but it wasn't a sport like most of the Varronites around. The first tournament was fought to simply test his skills and et cetera. The second tournament was fought in Hircine for ideals of the Watchmen. His words sounded defense, but it would not be of any worry. Jellar was not intent on starting a fight, for sure.
'He must have misunderstood my sarcasm,' Jellar thought, listening to Jazz. 'Or maybe I misunderstood him,' Jellar thought, remembering him say, 'The reason that San Fran jumped out at me was, as I said, I know people I can trust here.' He didn't, however, sound much like a dick at all. If it was a misunderstanding, there was no reason for Jellar to get mad at Jazz. However, he dropped that subject, knowing that Jazz was probably responsible enough to keep the Oasis Project confidential for his company. The job invitation was brushed off by an inside chuckle and unlikely, and Jellar didn't reply to that either.
Finally, it was Jellar's turn to answer Jazz's questions.
"Well, as for 'here' as in Hircine, I'm just the same as the rest. The invitation came in our mailbox, and now I'm here. My dad and I decided it would be a good idea to move as the financial things were covered by the government, and my dad, who works in a large franchise, requested transfer, and so he got transferred," Jellar said, giving a brief idea of Jellar's situation and talking about his father a bit.
"As for 'here' as in the forest, well, it's a cool place to be at. I spent most of my spare time in Varron in the forest, and I intend to here. This is the first time for me here though, so I'm still getting acquainted with San Francisco's nature," he said simply answering Jazz's question honestly. However, the Oasis Project was still getting Jellar curious. He was itching to find out about it, but it did not seem that he would get any information out of Jazz, so he stopped pursuing it.
