Earlier That Week:
Felix had been walking through the halls on a brisk Friday morning. He had been looking for a Hand member for some time, looking for one who had a little more pull within the Hand. He could never find one, they kept themselves hidden, or never stepped into the school at all.
He did, however, eventually find himself a small group who had the signature logo. Three straight lines. "If I remember correctly, that's his gang emblem. Good. I found what I wanted.'
Fifteen short minutes later, Felix had taken care of the small group, only four of them. It was quite easy, but he left a small written note with the one who ordered the other three to take Felix out.
Kvist.
I want a few words with you. Hopefully your not too forgetful. Meet me at the pier. Eight in the morning, Sunday.
Your Friend, Felix [/u]
Present Day True to Felix's word, he was at a rather tall pier he had found while driving along the shoreline. He had chosen it because if Kvist did come, he'd want an easy escape. 'Twenty five feet from the oceans waves, a good forty feet out. It's definitely deep enough. Should be an easy out.'
He leaned over the railing for a short time, watching the waves lap up against the steady supports of the pier. The crashing leaving a dull roar to rise up and reach his ears. He was going to confront Kvist, someone he had feared before now. Someone who had forced him to do his bidding. He wanted to confront Kvist, and this was the only way possible.
'If I go to him, he'll have me. But out on the pier, if things don't go my way, I leap into the water, letting the waves carry me back to shore.' It was his full proof plan to get away from Kvist. He probably didn't think Felix was much of a bother to jump in after, and he'd be able to swim back to shore, walk the four miles to his parked Toyota and get back to his dorm.
The rising sun had been heating things up and Felix now stood with his back to the end of the pier, he noticed no one else around, but then considered it a welcoming feature. "No one else who might get hurt. I should meet everyone here." He chuckled to himself, finally catching a breeze which ruffled his hair. He smoothed it back with his hand and thought back to Varron, where this all went down. 'So much pain, so much hurt. All in the hands of this man, no. He's not a man, he's not fit to be called human. He's less than human.'
Felix's anger level was rising, but he had to calm himself. He merely wanted a few answers out of Kvist, before he would take his small plunge into the water to get away quickly. Answers and to let Kvist know he had one more enemy back and waiting for his time to strike. And if Kvist didn't want to give him answers, he'd still have one more watching his every move. 'Even if I don't plan to openly fight Kvist, if he thinks I will, I'll have done enough.'
He was still waiting on the pier, checking what the salesman said was a waterproof watch. "Almost eight. C'mon Kvist, you didn't chicken out did you?" He focused his eyes around and still found no one in sight. "I didn't go through all this trouble to come up empty handed."

What disturbed soul would get anyone out of bed before 8 am a Sunday morning? Felix apparently. Grunting with dismay, he had already horribly maimed or killed someone. He had snuck up on the person and simply smashed a brick into the neck. And when the person had fallen, the brick had struck again and again until the brick had turned a lovely crimson colour. His mask bathed in the blood of an innocent. His foul laughter rose from the alley. Taking out a paper towel, he cleaned his mask and put the paper back into his jacket. His mood had barely changed as he left the crime scene. Silently wondering if his victim had been 6 or 7 years old. He would find out the next morning when it would be all over the news. Luckily few people were up at this ungodly hour. Except an unfortunate soul that no longer were up.
He started to run. And only four minutes later when he was roughly a kilometre away, he stopped running and returned to a normal quick pace. He was sure no one had seen him, and being masked would make it impossible to identify him. Foolish of me to do that... Down straight dangerous. Gotta be more careful. At least one good thing about officially being considered dead, is that suspecting me is like suspecting a ghost.
He arrived at the location. Only five minutes late. Looked down at the end and saw Felix. He had seen the boy a few times, and it had taken him some seconds to figure out who Felix were. But, once he recalled Raven, it didn’t take long to figure out all he knew about Felix. Which was close to nothing. He casually walked down the pier. His dismay at getting his first sleep in a couple of days destroyed by getting up this early, he spoke out with a cold and unforgiving voice.
“What do you want?”

Felix spied Kvist making his way down the pier and looked down to his watch. 'Just on time too. How fortunate.' He noticed Kvist was still wearing the same mask as before, still not one to show his face to others. 'Whatever works for him.' When Kvist was close enough, his rough words spoke out against him.
“What do you want?”
"What? Can't a friend say hello after all this time? I suppose not." Felix shifted and looked out over the pier. He still didn't have a good way to start this conversation, and he'd be stalling for time. 'Stalling isn't exactly a great thing to do with Kvist. He gets angry easy, not to mention hes already pissed for me getting him up at eight in the morning.' Felix smirked at his own thought.
"I hear from a few different sources that your near your last, Kvist. Everyone seems to be hunting you down." He wouldn't explain himself just yet, a few more minutes maybe. He was looking down into the possibly chilly water. 'I really should have planned better.' "I just wanted to know what kinds of tricks you still have under those sleeves of yours? What is it that your planning?" If it was anything like before things would get really interesting. 'New school, a whole new plan for destruction.'
Felix hadn't planned for those words to come out of his mouth, nor did he expect Kvist to answer any of his questions. He looked back to Kvist, staring at the same lifeless mask. "And I still want to know why we were chased down, before, at Varron. Of course it hardly matters now, and it may even had been a stupid reason. But I never got that question answered. And that's why I called you out here this morning." There was no question to who the 'we' was. Kvist knew, he wasn't stupid.

[OOC: Sorry for the lateness]
My plans? Well, I ought to drown him for being so bold, but why not humour the poor fellow.
"Simple, I needed manpower, you and your little lover would make a fine addition to The Hand of Fate. You still would. But as you said, The Hand of Fate is going down, no doubt about that, and that is why my plan has changed to take down as many I can before I finally find myself sleeping in the morgue."
Kvist laughed. If Felix was sent to spy out Kvist's plans, then he could gather from these words, that Kvist would be doing a lot of random destruction, with pleasure. His hands went out of his pockets and he looked at Felix.
"Not quite what you had expected? But, I wonder myself Felix, how do you cope with your sweetheart ditching you and going out with a wide array of men? Shutting you out of her life with the touch of other males. How does that make you feel?" He probably don't even care, and that is why these goodie goodies will always be stepping stones for the likes of me...
He stood there, with his arms hanging down his side. The smell of the sea finally reaching his nostrils. When he had been younger, he had always wondered why the air changed when you were near the ocean. Now, he didn't care enough to make the logical equation in his head. Still, he enjoyed the stench enough for it to soothe his anger at getting torn out of bed so early. And the question was, would Felix break easily? Or would it require more?

(ooc= no problem on the lateness, stumbling through a sense of sh*t can't put thoughts onto paper. I also changed my post around, memory loss sucks.)
The laugh had echoed inside Felix's mind, banging off the walls like a firecracker in a closed room. 'So much happiness from so much destruction, hes a damn lunatic. A real psychotic foul up.' Felix had to keep his cool, he wouldn't be getting angry enough to do something rash and stupid. "Mass destruction, isn't that a little cliche? It won't be like last time, you were there when the school went up in smoke and flames, everyones prepared for it, well, that would be my best guess at any rate. And I don't think that I'll be joining the Hand of Fate, so just as a forwarded warning, any type of recruitment speech will be ignored to the best of my abilities." 'It has been a long time since anyone pulled off such a destructive measure against everyone all at once, but a lot of people from Varron aren't in school anymore.' He thought back to when Varron had crumbled. No one knew what was going on, just to get out with what you had in tact, which wasn't much.
Bringing up a bad memory or two Felix's arms were now crossed over his chest, a glare sent in Kvist's direction as he leant back against the railing. "And shortly before she was to return from a slight vacation, I left Varron cold and ran. And back then I blamed you for it, Ha." He let out a bark of laughter, mocking himself. "I was stupid and foolish, hell I think most everyone was." The anger was apparent in his voice though he tried to mask it as best he could. If Kvist had other plans for this outing other than Felix's initial goal of questioning, then things would get out of hand extremely fast. "And on another note, what she did with her time while I was gone is none of my business."
Feli'x anger had risen over his last few comments. He had found Raven on one of his first days here, and things spiraled out of control, righted themselves and worked it all out. 'Kvist is just trying to get me into a situation I don't like nor want to be in. I have to keep calm. It's the only way to get out of this mostly unharmed.' There was always a risk of confronting someone like Kvist and walking away with a broken arm, just for looking at him wrong. Hopefully today would not be that day.

“You would believe everyone would be ready for what I bring, but I have repeatedly proven that they haven’t learned a thing. At all. And back then, people blamed me for a lot. I wouldn’t be surprised if you blamed me for you cowarding out of the city.”
Although he had heard of other doing it, he still felt a little proud that he had made someone flee from the city, that was perhaps the ultimate sign of his power back in Varron. He had been able to get people to flee. That was back in the good times. He looked back at Felix, back when people like him had been forced into duty, brought in under the promise of protection, or rather, under the promise of death if he didn’t.
“None of your business? You pretend like you don’t want her anymore… Bullshit. Utter bullshit. Do yourself a favour and try and get her back. Because if I suceed, that might be the last happiness you’ll ever get.”
Kvist took a glance at the infinite blue ocean. He wondered how long it would be before they found Felix in case Kvist threw him into the ocean, dead, of course. A month? A day? An hour? It didn’t matter, he had done enough harm this morning. He actually just wanted to go back him and get some more sleep. Felix was rather lucky that Kvist wasn’t in the mood to maim him into a pool of blood on the pier.
Wonderful image...

"Bullshit you say?" He was more aprehensive now knowing full well that when Kvist meant mass destruction, he meant to target just about everybody in his path. 'Well, thats if he doesn't come tumbling down before then, oh it would be great to see him as a corpse before he can do any more harm. He'd have to die painfully slow, so he could feel like everyone of his victims. A gruesome end for someone afraid to show his face.' He was still standing, arms crossed over his chest, the glare was turning into more of an angry snarl, minus the noise factor.
"Whats bullshit is the fact that you look at everyone in the same way, the same mistaken way. I wish I could be there when you get what you deserve, but I, fortunately, have no reason to ever see you again." He smiled at this, one happy thought to save him from lashing out, his past was bringing up a bitterness Felix sought to hide away. While he wasn't happy with the outcome of this conversation, he had no real usefulness to be there, confronting him. 'Of course I didn't get the answers that I wanted, but that's to be expected. I also expected to be sent over the pier, a sack of bones. Seems the morning is the best time to talk to people.'
His mood had settled some, relishing the thought of his supposed end for Kvist yet again. He hoped it would come soon, and that they publicly displayed it, as foolish as it sounded. Still he held a glare in his eyes. "I don't think you need to concern yourself with my happiness, I find that I'm enjoying myself here, on the west coast. And besides, it wasn't any of my business. I left her, done deal, while she had to pick up and move on. Whether or not I want her back has nothing to do with it."
He didn't know how his last few words would sound to Kvist. It was hard to tell because of that mask he wore, always afraid to show himself. 'I wonder what he has to hide. How many secrets are trying to burst from his over filled closet.' To say that Felix was prepared for an attack was a rather small understatement. While he made no outward chance to change his stance, he did tense up. It appeared to Felix that Kvist's last words were meant to end the convarsation. 'The only question left is if what he said was to try and tell me something, or to try and get me to snap.' Either way, it hadn't worked.
