As his fist hit the bag for what seemed like the thousandth time, Adam once again found himself glad that he'd taken to wearing his gloves all the time.
Lunch hour was always slow for the youngest of the Rydell family, who had taken to sitting by the fountain on his own. The last time he'd done so, however, he'd been challenged to a fight with a kid he'd never even met before, a conflict that had been more annoying than fun. Looking to avoid another such occurance, he'd decided to make use of the gym equipment for once, and upon finding the room empty, had started throwing jabs and crosses at the bag, hitting as hard and fast as he possibly could. Before long, his body was covered in sweat, forcing him to remove his trenchcoat before continuing, his muscle shirt and jeans adequate enough to resume his punches, this time throwing uppercuts instead.
Stupid Kyu... stupid goddamn Leon... goddamn Trent...
His punches grew in strength, pounding harder and harder into the bag, his teeth grinding against each other from the effort he was putting forth. The constant pounding was like a drum inspiring him to continue, hitting the bag as hard as he could without slowing down the pace. So long as no one was around, he was free to push himself as hard as he could without the fear of someone watching him and criticizing his efforts. Even with the fingerless gloves, Adam's knuckles had begun to tear the skin around them, the beginnings of blisters starting to form.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he could go no more. His palms shot out to stop the bag's momentum, as colliding with a 120 pound bag would be embarassing, to say the least, regardless of whether someone else had entered the gym or not. Panting, Pain Killer walked over to the bench against the wall, where he had thrown his trenchcoat minutes before, and sat, his forearms resting on his knees. Sweat coated his body, running off his face and falling to the floor below, the exhaustion keeping him from doing much else other than sit and catch his breath.

School, a place to learn, a place of classes, a place that a girl could get plenty of attention and enjoy herself. Yes, that was how Aina viewed school....well except for the learning part really.... One thing that everyone knew about this girl was that she was not the brightest light bulb in the school. That was fairly obvious. Even someone who didn't know her just yet would sooner or later see her either say or do something fairly stupid or abnormal. But even though she was considered so badly intellectually, she was fairly popular and had always been since she was a child. She is pretty lovable after all.
Cheer leading practice was still a long way from that time, but Aina was serious about her post of one of the greatest cheer leaders or Hircine High and took her 'job' as she called it very seriously. So the young blonde was always in the gymnasium about an hour or two before the actual practice getting warmed out and stretching her muscles for whatever was ahead of her. The gymnasium was usually empty but this time the Sweden blonde could hear some pounding from inside. She was dressed in her cheer leading out fit which included a mini skirt and a small tight top with a specially made panties underneath so that it would be fine if shown when doing flips and such in the airs. But no matter how she was dressed, she didn't care. It was often that she would kick an enemy and not care if they had a view of her panties or not. Why would she care? It's just clothing really. As long as she was covered then what mattered?
But any who, walking inside now, Aina followed the sound of punching and they sounded ruff. Whom ever was causing these must not have been in a very great mood but maybe if she was lucky, she could calm him down? But then again....how would she do that? It didn't matter though; Aina shook off that thought and walked towards the sounds until she was finally there and could see the black haired, much older boy. He was all sweaty and seemed to get more and more tired out as he continued to hit. She tried to stay hidden as much as she could until he sat down to take a break. Before even thinking it seemed like Aina's body had a mind of it's own as she just walked towards him, only realizing she did when it was too late. Of course she was sort of nervous and unsure of what she was doing, but all would be fine, no?
"Oh...umm...like hello there." she said, completely unsure of what to say. Her face was red now but not from what most people would think, it was simply that way because she slightly felt embarrassed and nervous. "Do you like need some company? My name is like Aina and yours would be?" she smiled, taking a seat right next to the guy. He was a handsome one she had to admit but she would have to stop those thoughts right now. She barely knew what she was doing in the first place so distracting herself would not be wise at all.

The sound of footsteps coming closer tipped Adam off that he wasn't alone, his gaze travelling to the source of the sound at a reasonable, unhurried pace. The blonde girl, A cheerleader, Adam noted with some satisfaction, walked towards him, giving the Senior student what appeared to be a nervous greeting.
"Hey."
It was a simple response, but at the moment, the self-proclaimed Pain Killer couldn't quite figure out what she was thinking. He was probably one of the most anti-social students at the school, something that he had assumed most had realized by now. Maybe... that's not such a good thing... He wasn't particularly thrilled at the fact Leon had believed he would hurt an innocent person, and the more he thought about it, Adam could see where Leon could have gotten that idea from. Anti-social, violent, and overall unhappy, perhaps it was time to try and change some of that.
One step at a time, of course.
Such thoughts quickly were chased out of his mind as the newly-introduced Aina took a seat next to him, something that he definately had not been expecting. Most boys got nervous when an attractive female sat near them, and Adam was no exception, causing him to wipe his face with his glove a few times, removing the excess moisture, before leaning back, sitting up so that he wouldn't have to turn so much in order to look at her.
"I'm Adam. And sure, I wouldn't mind if you kept me company."
It was quite different from how he usually acted, but Pain Killer was determined to try and be nicer, in order to prove to himself he could do it. Should probably try and keep the conversation going, then... After a moment of thinking, Aina's uniform gave him the inspiration to give it a shot.
"So... you're a cheerleader, eh? What's that like?"

Aina got a reply. Well that was a good start. The Sweden girl feared that he would be in such a bad mood and wouldn't reply, but all seemed well for now, and would hopefully stay that way. The blonde smiled, her eyes bright with happiness as he said that he wouldn't mind her company. Though who knew why it would be such a big deal; people often wanted her companye, but she was a weird girl and her moods changed often. This one being very cheerful.
There was a small awkward silence which most people would notice and try to change, but Aina didn't notice a thing and simply dozed off into her little world until she was soon snapped out of it but the deep voice of Adam. As he asked the question, the busty blonde looked down herself, needing to confirm in her mind that she was wearing her cheerleading outfit.
"Oh yes!" she exclaimed. "It's okay. It's like a lot of work though. I have to like stretch everyday so that I can flips and so on everyday. Plus I like need to stay in shape and weigh a certain way so I can easily be thrown in the airs. But it's not so bad. I'm pretty much like used to it, and with all the like work I do it's not hard to keep my weight where it should be." she explained. She then looked him over. Adam looked like a normal guy, but at the moment was not wearing a shirt and was still slightly sweaty. "So, are you like a fighter or something? Why were you like massacring the punching bag?" she giggled. It was a funny way to imply someone using a punching bag so vigorously but could she help it? It was pretty funny after all and it wasn't everyday Aina used a word like that and it actually belonging in the sentence.

OOC: Yes, I'm slightly late with this. I blame Adam.
IC:
The smallest of smirks formed on Adam's face as he noticed Aina look down at herself, reminding the blonde of the fact that she was indeed wearing a cheerleader uniform. By no means did he assume she was dumb, but rather, he found it funny. As quickly as the smirk appeared, it was removed, as Adam didn't want to give Aina the wrong idea, and as she explained about her cheerleading experience, he nodded a few times, his eyes glancing between her face and the gym in front of him, waiting until she was done before responding.
"Looks like it works, you look good."
Thankfully, the words came out more as a mumble than anything, saving the Senior from possible embarassment in his mind, unless Aina heard and commented. Even as she spoke again about the punching bag, Adam was in the process of putting his black muscle shirt back on, not entirely comfortable with the idea of having it off around anyone. His brother had instilled certain... intimacy issues within him, thanks to his perverted ways. However, now was not the time to think about Trent, instead, he quickly refocused on the question, catching the tail end along with the giggle, lightening his almost-souring mood.
"Heh, you could say that. It's a good stress relief, and it helps keep you in shape too. Kinda like your cheerleading, I suppose. You ever try it?"

(OOC: That's fine. I'm not any better XD You are Adam....idiot lolz ) IC: Aina blinked a few times, barely noticing at all that Adam had smirked. She wasn't one to notice things quickly so who could blame her? It's not like it mattered much; this girl knew many people that were different in so many ways and she had often seen the type to not smile much. "Thanks." she softly said, smiling and slightly blushed, something Aina did often when she was complimented. Sure, she knew she was gorgeous but she still loved to hear from others that she was beautiful and such, so compliments were always welcomed. What kind of a girl doesn't like to at least be complimented once every few days or less? Sure, too many compliments would get annoying but as long as you had the right number, then all was good. Adam was now putting his shirt back on, the blonde girl watching him as he did so. There was definitely something on this guy's mind, but what it could be, she didn't know. "Well it makes like sense. Exercise like keeps my mind off stuff so I'm sure it does the same to others. " she replied, locking her eyes with Adams and smiling so sweetly. Even though she recently saw him hitting something with brute strength and such, Aina knew right away that he was a kind guy, she just had to see it like now to confirm it. "Well umm....I like tried it before....but it wouldn't be too good for my manicure...." she sweat dropped. "But yeah, I've like tried it before."

OOC: WHO TOLD YO- I mean... No I'm not.
IC:
Adam's eyes travelled back to the blonde, catching Aina's look towards him once he'd finished putting on his shirt. He found himself looking into bright blue eyes, much like his own, making him forget the very words he was going to say next. It was a strange feeling, one that he wasn't familiar with, and it took Pain Killer a few seconds to snap out of his daze and respond to what she had said.
"Well, I guess boxing's not for everyone. I quit a while back myself, though it's hard to let go of old habits, I suppose."
With a small shrug, Adam turned to look towards the gym floor, not wanting to seem like he was staring. The concept of being social was still new to him, though he was getting better at it. After all, he'd managed to get Aina to smile, so he couldn't be all bad. Deciding he'd take a crack at seeing another, he turned back to the younger girl, smiling back in a rare moment. This was not one of those mocking smirks, or arrogant grins, instead, it was actually genuine, as if Aina's positive mood had infected him too.
Try as he might, there was nothing off the top of his head that he could think of that was funny and/or cute, which meant he'd just have to keep the conversation going until he had such an opportunity to see that smile again.
"So... what made you decide to come talk to me? I'm not exactly known for being Mr. Friendly."

(OOC: Ummm....Leesa did? >___>;; And yes you are You can't lie about this one! >=D ) IC: The Sweden girl giggled softly as she noticed Adam who seemed to be looking at her eyes. This was nothing new to her of course but to most people she would most likely smack them and tell them to stop imagining her naked, but she didn't bother with him. He did seem to have a much different aura then those other guys and Aina felt as ease around him instead of insulted. "Yeah, it's okay but like, I prefer cheer leading. Though unlike how some people think, it's like much harder then they think." she said. "Yeah...that's for sure." the blonde girl giggled nervously knowing what he meant, especially with her habits of talking too much. Though she tried to not talk so much, it just always seem to happen anyway. He smiled and this pleased her much since she clearly had a feeling that she was making him feel better, whatever the reason he was angry or upset in the first place. But she would not ask. Aina had just met him after all so it wasn't any of her business to ask him anything personal. "Hmm? Oh I dunno. You just looked like you needed someone to like talk to or something. Plus you look like nice and all. You like only think that but you're actually very nice. I like you, Adam." she said with a smile and a soft nod of her head. She actually meant all that and she hoped that he would realize that and wouldn't think that she was only saying that to be nice.

OOC: Uh... no comment.
IC:
"I... wha? Really? Oh... um... I like you too."
Completely thrown off by the fact that anyone other than his family actually liked him, romantically or not, Pain Killer could only stutter at first. His hand started rubbing on his pant leg, a subconscious nervous reaction, before he realized what he was doing and put a stop to it. He would have to get used to this sort of thing if he wanted to keep interacting with people in a non-hostile way.
The problem is, what do I do now?
It was only so much fun to just sit on a bench and talk, especially when it was in a somewhat smelly gym. With inspiration striking him, he stood up from the bench, turning to face her with a small smile on his face.
"Hey... you wanna go somewhere, sometime? You know, if you're free or whatever? I'd say now, but I kinda need a shower, and I dunno if you still have classes this afternoon..."
Of course, Adam still had classes himself, but neglected to mention that. The fact was, he'd skip for any reason he could come up with, especially if it were to go do something fun.

OOC: WARNING! Crazy writter'sblock...-___-;;fear it....
IC: "That's nice to hear." she said. Sure, Aina was one of the popular people of Hircine High, but she still feared, just like any human being, that someone would hate her for any reason. Of course not everyone liked her and she had many enemies some for no reason, but she disliked it much and usually just didn't think about it much so that it would not get to her so much. "Hmm? Oh, I like wouldn't mind at all!" she replied. "But yeah, I like have a good hour or so of cheer leading but other then that I only have classes that I like wouldn't mind skipping so much." she giggled softly.
Sure, Aina SHOULD go to classes and such since she was almost failing everything but it was sort of useless in a way since the blonde girl didn`t seem to learn anything at all. So skipping was no problem for her at all. But that was of course only if Adam wanted to of course. Whatever would happen, she would just have to wait until it happened to know.

OOC: Same problem. I'll just wrap this one up. IC: "Really? That's great! I mean, that's cool, I guess I'll see you in about an hour and a half? In the parking lot?" As soon as Aina responded, Adam would smile and nod before grabbing his trenchcoat off the bench. It seemed he'd actually succeeded in making a good impression, one he had no intention of ruining any time soon. Feeling happier than he had in months, Pain Killer headed towards the showers, idly fingering the keys in his pocket in anticipation of what was to come later that afternoon.
