Name: Trent Davis (Changed from Trent Rydell when he was adopted)
Nationality: American
Age: 21
Weight: 197 pounds
Height: 6 feet, 3 inches
Build:
His muscles are very toned, as he takes his training very seriously, however they are streamlined for speed rather then strength. Has several surgery scars on his stomach from where he was operated on. Is slender, though still relatively powerful.
Eye color: Olive green.
Hair:
Long, naturally black hair that reaches down just past his shoulders. His hair is usually very clean and neatly combed. He wears it free, parting it in the middle to expose his face, but otherwise, lets it fall downwards.
Habits: Smokes one pack a day.
Personality:
Sadistic. Intent on spreading the suffering he’s felt to the entire world, in any possible way. Prefers to do it emotionally, as it is much more damaging, but has developed a taste for physical pain as well. Causing such suffering gives him physical pleasure, and as such, he has no preference as to who he hurts, whether male or female. This has led him to become bisexual, as pain is the only thing he finds sexually attractive. Willing to work with others to accomplish his goal, but holds no loyalty to anyone except his remaining family member. Completely obsessive. Speaks very quietly most of the time, and is known to give unexpected giggles from things that aren’t really all that funny.
Appearance:
Like most of those who go to Varron, he wears all black clothing, finding it fits his purposes perfectly. His activities often require him to go unnoticed for lengths of time, therefore he wears what the common students wear. Black T shirt, black jeans, black socks, black boots. Nothing that would stand out. His face usually matches the anger he feels inside, as he doesn’t care whether people notice his anger or not, unless he is attempting to blend in.
When outside of school walls, he carries two daggers with him named Death and Glory. During the times he has killed, he uses Death to deal the murderous blow, and Glory to knock out the opponent’s incisors. The incisors are then placed on a bracelet that he carries in his pocket, which at current status has 28 teeth attached.
History:
In the beginning, Trent Rydell was a normal boy. His earliest years were happy, his parents were loving, and his younger sister and brother were good to him. At the tender age of 13, however, he began to notice strange things about his parents. Often, they would argue with themselves, all alone, and mutter things about “evil demons” and “the spreading Darkness”. Terrified, Trent remained silent for weeks, not speaking a single word, before finally confronting the both of them about the voices they heard in their heads. His father, Derek, became convinced that Trent had been spying for the Darkness in his head, and began to beat the poor child, almost succeeding in killing him, before his mother managed to save him. Trent then fled the house, never to return.
He was homeless for a few days, before a police officer found him and registered him with the adoption agency. He was sent to the Davis’ foster home, where he stayed for several years. His older adopted brother, Jonathan, had been diagnosed with anger issues, and would often beat Trent and damage what little belongings he had. This, coupled with the pain of the separation from his true family still haunted him, so he took to drinking heavily, often getting into bar fights with those around him. Trent began to believe that the only ones who loved him were his sister and his brother, and began to have a perverse attraction towards them.
One night, as he was at his favourite bar, he got into a confrontation with a member of a local gang. As the two began to fight, it spilled out into the parking lot, where two other members of the gang happened to be. After the three of them beat him into near-unconsciousness, they decided to humiliate him. After one member sodomized Trent, the three of them urinated on his broken body, leaving him sobbing in the parking lot…alone…and forgotten.
This is where his hatred for life was born.
Slowly, he picked himself up, and made his way home. Refusing to stay in a household that hadn’t saved him when he needed it, he packed up his things and left, living homeless for a time. His trust in mankind had been shattered, and he began to mug anyone he could in order to gain the money to survive. During one such encounter, he attacked a well known assassin in the area, and due to a freak accident, the man was struck by a vehicle and killed. Taking the man’s cell phone as well as his money, he was intrigued by the messages left on the phone and began to take credit for the assassin’s already completed hits. With the money he was making, he managed to buy two daggers, which he named Death and Glory, to aid him in his future attempts at continuing his work. Managing to complete seven contracted hits, he would knock out their incisors, eventually having enough to form a bracelet, which he now carries with him constantly.
His work eventually brought him to New Orleans. There, he was introduced to one of his employer’s daughter. He instantly found himself attracted to her physically, as well as her manipulative personality, and took her for his own, defeating the man who was currently her boyfriend in battle. As the months went by, his hatred of life eventually transferred to her as well, so he murdered her. Framing the murder on an innocent bystander, he was given permission by his deceased girlfriend’s father to torture the poor boy, and learned many of his now infamous tactics for inflicting pain during this period.
Trent quickly discovered he wasn’t skilled enough to become a full fledged hitman, and after failing several contracts, fled to Japan. Entering an underground tournament in order make some money, Trent was surprised to find the fan favourite defeated by a masked fighter before he could meet him in the finals. He fought against the masked fighter, only to lose. His opponent unmasked, revealing himself to be the boyfriend thought to be dead so long ago, and this drove Trent to be beside himself with anger. Escaping the arena, and believing that his use in this world had finally come to an end, he attempted to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge onto the rocks below.
However, it seemed his time to die had not come yet.
Saved by a homeless man who had been living underneath the bridge, he was brought to a nearby hospital and recovered. However, the fall seriously damaged most of his internal organs, the surgery he received being barely able to save his life. Thus, they are now unable to take the pressure of prolonged strikes against them. Awakening in his room, he requested his medical history, in order to see what the international records would have on his mental condition. While scanning over the forms, he found that most of his family had died, except for a select few. His brother was among them, and turned out to be the very man who had defeated him in the tournament and caused him to attempt to end his life.
Convinced that his bloodline was destined to be the strongest on this planet, Trent went on a rampage, hunting down those who were related to him. Upon finding that so many had married and mixed their genes with the “dirty commoners” of the world, he began to start wiping all traces of the Rydell family from the face of the Earth. He killed fourteen Rydell’s at this time, his madness driving him to want to create a “pure blood”, even making him go so far as to rape his sister Mya. Afterwards, she committed suicide.
Finally, there were only two Rydell’s left: Trent, and his brother. After researching about him, Trent was delighted to find that he hadn’t “dirtied” his blood by becoming involved with others, and came up with a new goal: he would continue to spread his suffering everywhere he could, but he would do it with his brother at his side. He searched Japan for his brother, it being the last place the two had encountered each other, but found that he had already left back to America. Slowly, the trail began to become easier to follow, since it was obvious that his brother was not attempting to cover his tracks, and Trent tracked him down to Varron. Passing the entrance exam into Varron University easily, Trent was now ready to put his plan into action, and recruit his brother into his fold.
Varron History:
However, things did not quite go according to plan. After meeting with his brother, it became quickly apparent that Adam would not have anything to do with his psychotic bretheren. Trent, of course, was less than pleased, and in a fit of rage crucified the self-proclaimed Pain Killer to a cathedral's doors, planning on coming back later for him when he was weakened. However, upon his return, Trent's brother was nowhere to be found.
Soon thereafter, Trent encountered one Donar Kvist, the leader of the Hand of Fate. While not officially joining the gang, Trent and Kvist came to a mutual agreement: Trent would assist with various activities, and when the time came, Kvist would act as the scapegoat for Trent's future plans regarding his brother. As such, the oldest Rydell began killing at random, spreading fear among the populace in order to increase the Hand's reputation. Such killings, however, brought him into conflict with Kyukaku, one of the many defenders of Varron city. After a fierce battle, Trent gained the upper hand, only to be thwarted by a cloaked figure, later to be revealed as Leon Loire. This sort of event would happen once again, after Trent attacked Kyukaku in his home, only to be stopped once again by Leon.
However, Kyukaku was not the only victim of Trent's madness. After meeting, and disagreeing with, Dain Gavyns, Trent began to target him as well, attacking his sister in the hospital not once, but twice. The first time was less successful, as it culminated in Trent being thrown from the building through the window. The second time, however, Trent successfully framed Kyukaku for raping Dain's comatose sister, leading to the younger man's imprisionment.
Trent also took place in the firebombing of Kazuki's club, The Edge, participating under The Hand's command. During this battle, it was apparent that Trent cared very little for those he worked with, going so far as to use those under his command as shields as he threw his explosives.
With the recent events forcing the worst of Varron to Hircine, Trent quickly followed, chasing his brother to San Francisco in order to continue his plan.
Fighting Style:
Has not been trained in a fighting style, therefore, uses his own street fighting abilities. Loves to counter, but will go on the attack if his opponent will not. Oftentimes will go for damaging strikes, intent on causing as much pain as possible, rather then ones that would win the fight. Uses his legs offensively much more then his arms, as his arms are more often meant for defending.
Strengths:
Incredibly intelligent, despite his lack of public schooling. Very fast for his size. Skilled in picking up the techniques of his opponents very quickly. He is very adept at blocking and countering, as he is forced to redirect blows away from his vulnerable torso. His sadistic nature keeps him from ever having to hold back, and he is therefore immune to pleas for mercy, help, etc.
Weaknesses:
Is not as strong as others his size. Due to past injuries, his torso is especially vulnerable to damage, meaning he will often cover up that area and leave others exposed. His desire to cause pain sometimes causes him to sacrifice a chance to end the fight in the effort to injure his opponent more. Has a weak stamina, due to the injuries sustained to his lungs, and will have difficulty in combating for long, drawn out battles.
