Six weeks....Six weeks of nothing but lounging around and putting his feet up, of just wandering around the city and relaxing...Six weeks of not having to wake up at six in the damned morning. As the alarm razed through his ears, rousing the young man, he grabbed a pillow from under his head and pulled it over his face, groaning quietly and blindly fumbling with a hand to slap down on the snooze button, ceasing the shrill tones and bringing a silence back to the room. At least, for a few minutes in any case. Within five minutes of his respite, the door to his room swung open loudly, and he had only the briefest of moments to pull his pillow away from his head to see the body come charging across the room and leap at him, dive-bombing him and wrestling him from the covers, pinning him to the ground with a knee set between his shoulders, one of his arms pulled back slightly.... "Get the feck off me, Connor!!", he barked at the older male who pinned him down with a dry smirk... "Mebbe, you going to get your arse out of bed for school or not....?" "...Mam sent you up, didn't she?" "How'd y'ever guess?" Sighing, he pushed his brother off of him, standing up and nursing the arm slightly before pointing to the door with a raised eyebrow. "Feck off out, Connor.....I don't dress with an audience" ---Later--- Trudging off of the bus and glancing over at Hircine, he rolled his eyes quietly and paced over...Three years here, it hadn't been so bad, but it wasn't Ireland by a bloody long shot. He'd invested a lot of his time into this school, both somewhat inadvertantly and without a choice admittedly on several aspects of it, and had grown to actually like the place somewhat. Even had a good bunch of friends as well. Then again, with the arrival of these kids from Varron, he wondered just how to react. He'd heard some real horror stories about these kids, about gangs with so much force they'd managed to take down the entire school with riots and such things, and in truth he was more intrigued than anything else. Needless to say, there was a small part of him worried that the newcomers could disrupt the balance Hircine had gained, but at the same time....He wondered just how much they'd be capable of. As he approached the front of the building, he slung his bag off his shoulder and leaned against a bollard, watching through the crowds for his friends to arrive....Standing silently, his eyes skimmed the crowd, pausing on a few of the newcomers and taking them in quietly... 'I wonder if the rumours of these kids are true, and more to the point, do they really expect to get away with causing any trouble at Hircine?' he thought with a slight mental smirk...

"Things need to get done about this Varron situation." Taj stated aloud. He looked over to the guy who was conviently leaning next to him.
"It strange ya know? Ever since these guys came along I haven't been able to focus on the shit that counts, like my school work. I wonder what's gonna be done about this yo." Taj said as he looked over at Joseph.
Taj chuckled a bit. He was venting to a person he didn't even know.
"It's strange, here I am talking about how much I dislike Varronites and I dont even know if the guy standing next to me is one. You got a name yo, name's Tajie Mukuro-Mohammed, my friends call me Taj though." he said this with a friendly smile.

"Things need to get done about this Varron situation."
Raising an eyebrow at the out-loud remark, he tilted his head to the side and cast a slightly inquisitive glance at the younger kid next to him...Kitted out like some kind of gangster, no less. With a barely audible sigh, he used his heel to shift his bag behind his feet, taking his hands from his pockets and folding his arms loosely over his chest as he listened to the spouting he was being subjected to. Who the hell was the kid trying to be?
With a pause as he contemplated replying or not, he flicked his eyes up to catch the slightly taller youths and gave a false, almost uninterested smile before responding....
"Joey."
Speaking with a calm, rough tone to his voice, laced with his fading accent as he continued to skim through the crowds, his eyes pausing on a few more individuals before he allowed a moment of curiousity to get the better of him....
"I must wonder, Tajie...", emphasising the other guys full first name before continuing, "...What is it you have to so dislike them for. They've barely been here a few days and you speak of them like a plague that needs to be removed, why do you tar all of them with the same brush?"
His simple question was intriguing enough, one that might well irritate this student so set on disliking the newcomers to the school. While Joseph didn't hold them in high regard, he was however willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. If they left him alone, he would leave them alone. Hell, he might even find himself able to befriend one or two of them if they were able to prove themselves unlike the reputation that had preceded them to Hircine. This other guy, apparently, was not on the same path of thinking as he was.

Taj laughed a bit.
"It's been a while since anyone has called me by my full name. I just figured a lot people liked me." He chuckled a bit.
"...What is it you have to so dislike them for. They've barely been here a few days and you speak of them like a plague that needs to be removed, why do you tar all of them with the same brush?"
Taj began to get interested in the conversation. He always loved to monologue, this was just a good oppurtunity.
"Ya know, I've been contemplating that for a while. I've encountered a couple of Varronites lately yo. The majority of them were senseless dickheads, but there were at least two that I can think of that didn't deserve to be in the situation that they are in. I told the good ones to transfer, because as far I can tell there is going to be a lot of fights here now. I'm not gonna lie though, I can honestly admit that I've been a bit prejiduce toward them, but hey, what are you gonna do, we all make mistakes, eh?"

"My personal question to the lot of you is why you should speak so openly without entirely making sure of your surroundings."
Ein's voice rumbled out, he was a large man to be sure, but even with his size he had the odd habit to walk in people's blind spots. He had conditioned himself to follow closely and just far enough behind that if they didn't turn their heads towards him, they would never see nor know he was there. It often lead to surprised and sometimes frightened looks.
Ein's eyes fell to the darker skinned one, searching through his appearance and attire for his beliefs and ideas. Essentially, Ein was searching for the man's mind so he might pick at it and learn what he pleased.
"I personally cannot understand how you dare to blame other's for your lack of focus. I can assure you many of us are not the mindless fighting arrogants you seem to peg us for and we learned in much harsher conditions. Your excuse?"

"Me? I'm going to do nothing. You appear to be the one making the mistakes here, it would seem. However, since you seem to be questioning for advice, let me give you my view on it..."
Shifting slightly, he would lean against the wall and face Tajie, his eyes catching the sight of someone moving but paying little heed to it at the moment before he continued, the other figure apparently not making any advancement at the moment.
"These guys are not run of the mill, personally, I have no qualms in letting them be, and I would advise, if you enjoy your ability to chew solid food, to do the same. I'm sure you might have heard enough already, but whether we know the same rumours is something yet to be determined. Why, just because they come from a school that had trouble, does every single one of them immediately deserve to be considered a 'dickhead', as you so eloquently put it?"
As he cleared his throat and attempted to continue speaking, his voice was overshadowed by that of another, and with a glance he took in the large form of the newcomer to the conversation who made no hindrance on speaking his point. His face slightly humoured, he gave a somewhat complacent shrug of his shoulders and responded to the big man, a Varronite it would seem.
"My response to you, big fella, is that why should I fear speaking openly about anything when my reactions will not incite trouble? The students here know me well enough to give me my personal space and do not question my opinions, in return I keep to myself and go about my days peacefully enough. I spoke no ill of you or your fellow transfers, and as a result I reserve no reason to make sure of my surroundings."
As the large man attention turned to Tajie, he gave a tight, dry-lipped smirk and raised an eyebrow in silence as he spoke, curious at how the younger male would react to being forced to back up his words, whether he would simply clam up or put his money where his mouth, large as it may be, was.

"Why, just because they come from a school that had trouble, does every single one of them immediately deserve to be considered a 'dickhead', as you so eloquently put it?"
[Maybe he didn't get what I was trying to say.]
"I know...I just said that I met some of them who didn't deserve to be in the predicament that they are in. But, I have to say, I met one who beat the crap out of his own classmate, for no apparant reason, and then proceeded to introduce himself to me, clearly unaffected by the beating he just gave that defenseless student. In my opinion, Joey my boy, that definately goes along the lines of the term, "Dickhead."
"My personal question to the lot of you is why you should speak so openly without entirely making sure of your surroundings."
Taj moved his head toward the new student entering the conversation.
"Speak so openly!?" Taj asked sarcastically.
He then bursted out in laughter, on the verge of curly over.
"Oh man you Varron guys crack me up. You obviously don't know who I am. The name's Tajie Mukuro-Mohammed, there isn't a Hircinian freshman outthere that doesn't know me. As far as I'm concerned I can speak as loud as I want."
"Wait a minute." Taj sized the man up.
"OH I KNOW WHO YOU ARE! Your that Gilsin guy, the one who beat the shit out of those Hircinian nobodies. A tall guy dressed in blac, yeah you pretty much fit the description. Oh boy, judging by your size, I guess you messed those guys up pretty bad eh?"
"I personally cannot understand how you dare to blame other's for your lack of focus. I can assure you many of us are not the mindless fighting arrogants you seem to peg us for and we learned in much harsher conditions. Your excuse?"
Taj toned became low and stern, trying best to sound as if he had some type of intellect.
"Well from what I heard, you definately seemed like a mindless fighting arrogants. BUT I hear it was out of self-defense so I guess you had a reason for ruffing those guys up. And as for my excuse, it's simple, and if you know the guy I'm pretty sure you would agree this is a valid reason. I met a fella by the name of Xae."
And with that Taj leaned back to his previous position and awaited answer from either of them.

Ein looked to the smaller male and listened to his words intently. The point being understood, indeed in most situations it made a good deal of sense. It didn't entirely in this situation, it didn't take much for the more bloodthirsty of the Varronites to start a fight and while not too many of those seemed to have come here, it was in Ein's best interests to warn them in his own ways. Word of mouth distorted the truth and one of word of speaking of Varronites easily becomes speaking against them and further.
"While you shouldn't need fear, there are those that will hear otherwise. Your words distorted through the words of others, it isn't uncommon for our more...stupid to pick a fight over such a thing. It is a just warning even if it smells of threat."
Ein's eyes then fell to the man he had originally addressed, he laughed at Ein's words? Obviously not the most intelligent of sorts, definately a more...balls than brains type of person. Still Ein stood solid, eyeing the man harshly and refusing to show any humor. Not that Ein usually did in anycase.
"I do hope you understand the consquences of speaking so loudly then, such things can be harsh..."
Ein kept staring at the man as he looked over him. He seemed to be going through a period of recognition. Perhaps he was in audience of his first beating? It was a certainly a possibility but it wasn't long before that assumtion was proved wrong. Still, Ein smirked when he heard his last name, it was good that was getting around. It meant fear was already creeping into this place, his protection was building with each frightened whisper of his name.
"I did worse then they attempted me, and I've little sorrow for it. In their arrogance they fell and as such I made sure they will not want to try again. As for your so called excuse, I have never heard of him, and if I have not then he is no sort of threat at all. Indeed, he is likely rather inpotent and your incapability shows by thinking him a hinderance."

"Woah. You clearly misinterpeted my statement, Gilsin my boy. I never said he was a threat, he isn't. I took the dickhead out with a simple headbutt, but the sheer fact that one could act so senselessly is the reason why I feel the way that I do. And as those Hircine guys that attacked, they got what was coming toward them. Anyone that weak and stupid enough to jump someone and lose so harshly deserved to get their face smash in. Well at least that's what I think."
Taj leaned foward so that he was standing straight up, glaring hard at Gilsin. When Taj stood straight up it was clearly notciable that the two's height wasn't far from each other.
"And...as for calling me incapable, well, you don't know me well enough to judge how strong I am." Taj then gave a challanging smirk.
"Underestimating somebody can be, "quite harsh." Taj's eyes were fierce and cold, it was clear that Gilsin didn't scare him, then again not a lot of people scared Taj easy.

Ein's eyes were unflinching as the man moved abit closer. He noted the man's height simply but such a thing while certainly helpful to him, was not certainly nothing to guarantee strength. Ein easily noted the difference in builds, he had the weight advantage and one thing Ein knew well was to take advantage of his weight.
Ein listened quietly to the further bombardment of arrogant words. The boast was not something Ein believed in the least. There were many that were weak from Varron, but he doubted one that was transferred here would be so weak as to fall instantly from one such strike. Especially one that could be so ineffective as a head butt.
When the man spoke again, trying to be threatening no less Ein would do something somewhat unexpected. At least for his current temperament. Ein would simply smirk, the slightly crooked and discomforting smirk that many hated in their own way and more importantly was just odd to see on a face that did so little of any type of movement. It didn't entirely fit and it was simply an odd thing.
"I do not believe I underestimate you in the least. No, your arrogance speaks volumes of your abilities, and they do not speak well. I would recommend you step back and analyze yourself before proceeding, imagine that I may have been a leader of a small "gang" at Varron. If even half of what the ridiculous stories I've heard out of Hircine's lot are true, where could that put me?"
Ein's mind was becoming more vicious, it had been wanting through disuse. It was some weeks since he had left the fight ridden school and to him something was missing every time he walked on this campus and there was nothing. The ignorant promptly ignored or in some cases exalted by others for it. Ein's patience was wearing thin in some cases and this one was driving forward into a small store of anger.

Taj gave a light chuckle.
"It's funny ya know, apparantly everyone takes arrogance for weakness. You know, I'm arrogant for a reason. Also, as for you saying that I should back up and analyze myself. I find that quite funny. Maybe you are the one that needs to "back up and analyze yourself." Your in a new school, you don't have a lot of knowledge of the students in this school, nor do you have a lot of the way things work here, and you walk around as if your shit smells like daisies. Do you actually think about the gang you ran in Varron, chances are they haven't made here to Hircine, so as far as I'm concerned your just one man. Do you know where that puts you Gilsin? At the bottom of the fucking food chain. All you are here is Varronite scum. Although it isn't your fault that's just the way things work."
As Taj said this he readied for any kind of attack that Ein may throw at him. What he said may have offended the guy, so he was ready for anything that could happen.
Anything.

As he stood silently, allowing the exchange between the two, he did his best to allow the altercation to continue unabated, but Tajies last verbal spat had been like tossing gasoline onto a fire to him. Stepping forward, he put himself between the two, his body turned to face the slightly shorter male, his eyes locked onto him as he spoke with an enforced calm to his voice. He couldn't believe what he was seeing, though given the situation wasn't entirely surprised...
Stepping forward, the movement intent on making Tajie step back, not through actual force but by natural movement, he kept his palms at his sides as he made his remarks to the loudmouthed kid in front of him...
"Check yourself, Tajie.....You're overstepping the mark here. Take one damned look around yourself, we may have the numbers advantage, if that so merits your manner of thinking, but do you think for one fecking second that at any point these Varron transfers won't take a bite out of you? If you want to pick a fight you can't win, go for it. I'll watch that boundless arrogance of yours send you to the ground in a beaten and bloody heap, and nothing more."
Without skipping a beat, he twisted around to face the larger man he had now discovered was named Gilsin, and shifting his head to face him moreso, he spoke quieter, his words simple and plain to the man who clearly had no qualms in defending himself, but for some reason was proving wrong many of the things he had heard...Had he been an archetypal Varronite why had he not swung for either of them? Why was he content to use his words this far?
"I will not stop you, should you choose to deal with him how you please. Neither the politics of this school nor your fellow classmates interest me, so I have no purpose to interfere. However, you know all well that he is nothing more than a cheeky, ego-driven little shite, to put it rather bluntly, so I must question you this, Gilsin. What do you hope to accomplish by putting such a fool in his place, besides reinforcing a stereotype he has of all of you?"
The smaller man stood firm between the two, showing no sign of wavering at either of them. He could tell without a shadow of a doubt that he was nowhere near Gilsins strength, but he would easily be far faster than him if the large man took any offence at his words. As for Tajie, well, kids like him should learn their place....

Ein's disturbing grin was widening with the Taj's words. The man seemed to think he knew something Ein didn't or perhaps merely knew more of the current situation. It was an amusing idea and one Ein was content to prove wrong. He spoke carefully, trying to make sure the man wasn't too lost in his words.
"You may seem to think me one man, indeed I am. I am also a man of many thought, thought longs to be shared and soon...."
Ein carefully slid the Genaht armband down his arm and raised it over his head, the glinting silver chain reflecting brightly in the sharp sunlight, the black leather contrasting harshly against the stainless steel links. It wasn't long before a man of similar size of Ein and another much shorter but still very vicious looking stepped forward. They had a small collum of three more men behind them.
"The thoughts and the minds that hold them multiply. Fall us, if you think you are able, but know...We shall hardly make it easy and even more so we shall make the victory hollow with your sacrifice."
Ein's eyes then fell to the shorter Hircine student, he held a good deal of intelligence. Indeed, Ein was almost thinking he could find a spot in his group, if the meeting had been different, the possibility seemed slightly smaller now.
"My accomplishment would be his punishment for his ignorance and arrogance, something he is in desperate need of. However, in this current state, I beleive the best motive would to be leave him to this thought. It won't be long for his falling if he keeps his current attitude, my only regret would by my lack of involvement in it."

"Enough of this....."
Raising his arms to his sides, he kept his eyes firmly posted on the larger man as he made some kind of signal to other members of his gang...Surprisingly enough he had received a number of his followers in mere moments, and they looked no less intimidating than the big guy in front of him. Steeling himself in the moment, he continued to speak as he kept unwavering focus on the Varron transfer.
"You have already proved your point, Gilsin. There would be no respect to gain by posting such a gesture against someone like this, and I suspect you're quite aware of that already. Whether you like it or not, I'm afraid, we are all now part of the same whole, in one respect or another. Hircine may be split between the long term students and the transfers like yourselves, but however you look at this, we are all students at the same school. The smarter of us know that things aren't always in terms of black and white, but the few that bring down our name....Do as you will with them, but I ask you not to do so inside the school."
He gave himself a moments reprieve, glancing over Gilsins shoulders at the others who had approached in witness of this exhibition...Hinting slight amusement at seeing his friends raising eyebrows at him, wondering exactly what the hell he was doing, he returned his attention to Gilsin once more.
"Do we have an agreement....?" he questioned, his arms lowering as he stood straight, the distance between the two reasonable as he slipped his hands in his pockets. He had considerable calm in light of the situation before him, but he also knew that if this escalated, whether Tajie was bullshitting about being as popular as he thought, the more physical reaction could instigate one hell of a ruck at the front of the school. With students still pouring in off of buses, it would surely grow until it was out of proportion, and he would not be able to step back from it. The problem he found himself with, above all, was which side was he supposed to take? All he had seen from the Hircine perspective was insolence, arrogance and impudent behaviour, traits assumed to belong to Varronites, yet the transfer was calm, educated and staying in his reactions....
Classes hadn't even fucking started yet! Surely he could have had a few hours to see more of all this....?

Joseph's words echoed throughout Tajie's mind during this whole conversation. He couldn't stop thinking about that one girl, Raven. She definitely didn't fit his "all Varronites are dick heads" section. And as far as Gilsin was concerned. He didn't seem like a completely bad guy. And judging by the fact that he runs a gang, he must have leadership skills. Leadership was always something Taj admired, considering that he soon wanted to run his own gang within Hircine High. Maybe he was overreacting, maybe he was acting like a jerk. Taj never enjoyed to hold grudges. He always figured.
[Why hold grudges, knowing you going to regret it later in your life.]
"You know wait.." Taj said standing down.
"Maybe I overreacted. I am acting a bit cocky, and all I'm doing is acting how my view of varronites are. I'd rather not contradict myself, it just makes me look like an idiot ya know?" Taj asked rhetorically.
"Yo, Gilsin, I apologize man, maybe I just didn't want to seem like a wuss. Sometimes people think when one stands down they're afraid. When most people don't realize, that it takes a REAL man to stand down." Taj said this as he brought his eyes toward Joey.
[Joey has it right man I shouldn't judge the Varronites so easily. But I can not care for them.]
"Yo, Joey your right man, I should give all Varronites the same title for one idiot." Taj leaned back and stuffed his hands in his pocket, staring into a locked over Gilsin's left shoulder, thinking about the way he's been acting recently.

Ein was content to listen to the shorter man, up untill the point where he tried to make Ein agree not to fight on school grounds. While he almost liked the agreement, it wasn't entirely dependant on his decisions. Still, Ein didn't like being told what to do when it was something that was near unavoidable for him.
"I will agree to nothing. Such things will happen as they will with no agreement nor force of man to stop them."
Ein frowned some what to reinforce his words. He wouldn't attempt to stop what would happen, in many cases he may even revel in it slightly. It would be odd for such a man used to strife to be suddenly thrust away from it.
The darker skinned peer spoke next. EIn knew he was generally going to get more cocky or realize his mistake and attempt apology in some way. The latter option was chosen and it wasn't too surprising, the man was now outnumbered and was out skilled from the get go.
"Your apology is accepted, however you should learn to curb your arrogance. There are worse than I and more importantly with shorter tempers. I should hope this to be a learning experince. Now I beleive I shall leave, before more attention is drawn and I have to beat another three that attempt to fall me."
Ein nodded once to both and would begin to step back and turn to leave for class. His small group would soon disperse after him, afew glaring at Taj as they turned to leave to their respective classes.
