Here are the drawings that I've done over the past...2 years? Comment, critique, admire, whatever you want. Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket NOTE: Yeah, I know the hair looks weird, no need to point it out. My hair drawing skills have improved after this drawing.

More of my drawings, sorry for the repetition of Fruits Basket, I only drew three, I swear.

My advice is that doing traces or line-art in general (whatever they call "look and sketch") of other people's works is alright at first to get a feel for things, but overall it probably won't lead anywhere in terms of improvement unless you practice with original works for your own style.

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind, I needed some advice/criticism, I can't just have people say " Oh that's great work!" The second Fruits Basket pic was actually a birthday present for my friend, so yeah. Most of what I draw is usually requests or birthday gifts. I do, however, have original work, I usually draw my OC's. Case in point: This is an OC I made on deviantArt.

If you're looking for improvement on your own style... -Coughcough.- Then the people on this site would be more than happy to help you. ''Can you draw me?! Pleeeeeease!'' sorta thing. I have to admit, I wouldn't have known the first picture was of Fruits Basket until you'd said. o-o;

I don't know what else to say about the style itself other than to comment that the style you're using is somewhat similar to Natsuki Takaya's old style in Fruits Basket...
As for constructive criticism, the two things that stand for me in this piece is the hair and the direction your OC is facing.
Because the hair is presumably white in general, it probably needs some sort of way to show that it has depth instead of flat emptiness. Some people add strands, some shade, others use toning. It's up to you. As for which way the character is facing, he's facing the viewer, or looking cocky, as if in a 3 quarter turn. What gets me is how much I see the back of his head (which oddly reminds me of Hatsuharu Sohma). It's like I'm seeing the front and the back at the same time, which makes the 3 quarter turn look flat, when I think I "should" mostly see just the front because it obscures the back view.
(One of these days, people will throw a brick through my window for these in-depth reviews... Personally, I wish there were more of 'em...)

Now that's the type of advice/criticism I need. Yes, unfortunately, my drawings have gravitated toward Natsuki Takaya's style, so I'll need to improve. Fortunately for me, I have time to do so. And no, no matter how tough your criticism is, I will never throw a brick through your window Valencia, I actually appreciate it. *shuts up now, so I'll leave you with another fanart that isn't Furuba thank god.* Again, my bad, I really need to work on my own original art, and this drawing took me forever, mainly because I had to squint at the reference pic because it's so freakin' tiny.

New stuff, well okay, technically not new in a sense, but you get my point. Anybody who's played Tales of the Abyss should recognize this guy. If not, well, just stare at it. Luke fon Fabre from Tales of the Abyss Sakura and Li from Cardcaptor Sakura

New stuff, mainly just a scribble/sketch. I was studying math last Sunday and got bored, so I started sketching a face. Next thing I know, i drew an entire pic, well, minus the feet. It's Ryou, or what he looks like.
