I awoke one night in London With your body at my feet. A knfie lay in my hand There was murder in the street. Blood pooled all around me. I knew it was not my own. Something in side me was calling... My mind was not my own.
I stagger in the darkness I struggle with my mind. Searching for the answers... I cannot seem to find. What has driven me To this madness... Why did I take your life. Who are you in the street... Whose blood is on this knife.
I vomit in an alley, As images flood my head. I pray god for fogivness... I want the solace of my bed. Your face it surrounds me... I hear your muffled screams. I just want to wake up... And find this is a dream.
What was it I was drinking... Where was I through the night Why was it I killed you... Why did we have to fight...
The night is filled with sirens, As the police floor the scene. What drove me to this madness... I wish this was a dream.
I search the pockets of my coat I am stunned to find A simple letter written Adressed to Jekyll From... Mr Hyde

Unfortunately, it has been years since I've last read "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" to give a proper enough critique expressing how appropriate this piece in relation to it, but nonetheless, I still like this poem.
The flow around the beginning and the end confused me a bit, but everything else was pretty nifty. I'm especially fond of the images and the emotions expressed.

I'm glad to hear that you found a hint of confusion while reading the piece, Don't worry about trying to attribute it too much to Robert Louis Stevensons origional text. I simply took the idea and then names and then placed my own spin on things. It was me making an effort to branch out.
My own feelins are very so so when it comes to what I managed to pull off here. Ah well practice makes perfect eh.
