yeah, i'm purely going on stereotypical presumptions. I've never been to California so I don't exactly know.
However, 50s don't seem that bad to this midwesterner.

50's is warm where I'm from, seeing as that's roughly 9 degrees Celsius. At the moment, with wind chill it's -3(Celsius). And that's the average here.
Of course, in the summer it's naturally warmer... Anyways, what I'm trying to get at is I'm not American, thus don't care to look up their climate temps, thus still believe that an Indoor pool would be necessary for the winter.

Why isn't there a Dorms section In School? Or is it part of "Apartments?"

We'll go with the Apartments section. While it could be argued that it should be "In School", I feel that splitting the Dorms from the Apartments section would leave out a lot of RPing there. For simplicity, we'll leave it that ANY RPing of Apartments - no matter if dorms or otherwise - will be inside that section.
It's just safe to assume that whomever is RPing in there openly states if they're apartment is a dorm. But no matter. We'll leave it at that.

Speaking of dorms, even if there are quite a few complexes on the grounds, there's still the chance of overflow for those who have decided to remain in the dorms. Hence, I've been itching to use the fact that on top of Varron students, there would probably be an influx of students transferring from other schools as well. All fair and well, but I figure if there could be a slight problem of overflow, it could lead to a bit of increased tension between the Varron transfers and those in Hircine already. Even if the Varron students are wanting to blend, it's painfully obvious by the RP that it's not going to happen in a day, or even a week, really. Permission to have somewhat of a problem with extra students? I'm kinda-sorta planning to have Kira as one of the students needing to be holed up with someone already in Hircine (requests for who? PM, mebbe, or MSN? ^^; ). If tensions get too high, there's always the fact that, as Ryan said, dissatisfied students could always slink to their buddies. I'd give a rough estimate of at least (perhaps) around 10-20 students having to brush in on Hircine dorm territory. The number would have to be kept low if only to show that they have the accomadations, they merely didn't count on so many of the students not having parents, or merely not wanting their own apartment yet. [Problem with extra student problems? What the heck am I thinking? Edited.]

Kira's a senior as well, but it'd be interesting; I don't plan on her wanting her own apartment at all just yet. She'd have to pick up another job to pay the rent and such, which would be a hassle, what with just transferring...and really, she wouldn't be afraid to raise the point to those who suggested she get an apartment.
EDIT: Thinking further on this brought me to realize that the numbers would perhaps be a pinch or two higher, because quite a few would more than likely be those under eighteen years of age, and therefore it would also tie-in better, right?

Just a small suggestion, is it possible to add a location for a school nurse at the inside school area... I mean, we have rooftop, gymnasium and cafetaria, all places that actually excist in the xin series yet I do miss the school nurse, whether it be a male or female. For some people it would be a nice place to expand in or for some others *cough* it would be a good place to finally start their posting. But of course people who go see the nurse/bring someone to the nurse etc. can always just post it in the in school area, writtin in the thread's name, though that would require some space in the name...
