Dr. Xing of Mugen Hall told me about an article he posted on a citizen journalism site called Helium.com, and told me that he made a review over the plot of Steven and Max's "XIN", as well as linked our site at the end with the other Xin boards of that time. I thought you all might be interested. XIN Article

What the guy says is true. i stumbled upon xin one day in newgrounds and it grew to be my favorite flash animation series of all time. its the best I'm thinking we have a new candidate for our poster-child fanboy. But then again, I can't help but wonder who here DIDN'T spot it on NG.

I first spotted it on LifePoint1, myself. Random link.

Liam said he couldn't help but wonder who hadn't spotted it first on NG, so I rhetorically answered that I hadn't.

Amazingly, I didn't find this site through either LP1 or NG. I was referred by a friend. He found the site, said 'Hey, check this out' and I've stuck around. Simple as. EDIT:: As Val's post reminded me of what else I was going to put... I didn't see any of the XIN Series...until about a year ago, I believe. xD We ended up making a night of it (Liam and I) at one of my friend's.

Someone said that I'd be good at RPing and gave me a link to a XIN RPB. He also gave me a link to the XIN series itself, but I didn't watch the episodes until I was a year into the board. It was kinda embarrassing not knowing what people were talking about a portion of the time, but I got by.
Meanwhile, the article itself isn't bad. As a review, it touched upon the right points and didn't become a huge summary of the entire plot, character by character. Some of the word choice got to me, but I blame the fact that I've been reading stuff non-stop today and I'm seeing doubles.

To put it nicely...
It was a decent article, well thought-out and all, BUT, it just felt to me while reading it that the author was intentionally trying to make his or herself sound smart.

...which is unfortunate, because their sentence structure wasn't anywhere remotely close to eloquent. Still, can't argue with someone who's hailing Xin as a great series...they know what they're talkin' about.

Yea, uh, I didn't find Xin from Newgrounds either, though I do frequent there quite a bit and have one if not a few posted as my favorite submissions, along with Tank Men, but I was actually looking for Xiao Xiao (stick figure fighting, yea, total nerd), and ended up getting a link to the first Xin episode. It all rolls downhill from there, but I always wanted to rp, and so when I first saw the boards I signed up immediately. As for the article, it wasn't bad, though not something I wanted to sit through and read its complete contents.

I saw it on Ugoplayer.com. Haven't been there in a long time though... They didn't have all the sessions. I had to locate Lifepoint1 in order to see the whole thing, and that's how I came to be here.
