'Cause I feel random again and I like doing comparisons when I'm bored/procrastinating. Of course practically everyone will prefer to fight with their own fists and whatnot, but this is just another spur-of-the-moment thought. For additional information, Ctrl+f here. Shamino Warhen: Persian – to sleep on his lap, Giovanni-style Mewtwo – ‘cause he can afford it and they have plenty in common Mae-Lim: Absol – clothes Darren Blayne: Arcanine – no idea, but it seemed to work Ein Gilsin: Gengar – seemed like a Ghost-type kind of person Banette – it has a zipper-like mouth like how Ein’s used-to-be-sewn lips Leon Loire: Venusaur, Charizard – no idea, but it seemed to work Odin Reeves: Hitmonchan – boxer Machamp – no idea; Fighting-type Aina Swanbeck: Pichu, Pikachu, Plusle, Minum, etc. – ‘cause they’re cute Slowpoke, Wynaut, Wobbuffet, Psyduck – their mental capacity seems to suggest it and they’re sorta cute ::does a li’l dance, then gets brick’d::

You know, I sort of agree with the cute and dumb one for Aina. They fit her just right.
Though for the cute ones I'd say Pichu and for the dumb ones, I see it more for Psyduck or Wynaut. That's at least what I would round it off to about.
Though if I have to go for one, maybe Wynaut. Cute AND dumb!

XD Gawd, that drawing was cute…
Ein Gilsin: Dusclops – Ghost-type and it tends to walk as though it’s gonna grab and choke a victim
Zeke Arwen: Raticate – it seemed to work and there was something about experiments that made me think of rats Doduo, Dodrio – something about running
Pinefresh Treefellow: Sudowoodo – something about trees, Rock-type?
Seth Calloway: Houndoom – no idea
If Valencia Donahue had a team of Pokemon, they’d probably be: Gyarados – she’d be patient enough to train it from a Magicarp Sableye – their lifestyles suggest it and it’s pretty lithe and ghostly Swablu – they’re both neat-freaks and Valencia has a habit of appearing during foggy/misty days Sneasel – hit and run Mightyena – wolf-like and has similar ideas about leadership Ditto – her appearance changes all the time

I'm not going to just discriminate these threads against newbies:
Valencia, this thread isn't funny, rather useless, and is bad, and you should feel bad.
There, I did it

I'm not going to just discriminate these threads against newbies: Valencia, this thread isn't funny, rather useless, and is bad, and you should feel bad. There, I did it All right, I just feel the need to point this out. Shamino, I would say that your music thread is also not funny, pointless and, in terms of relevance, bad. No one posts jokes on there, there is no tangible gain from knowing what others are listening to for the sake of the board and others, and in the end, it really has no point other than posting whatever is on your playlist at the moment. If the OOC was meant for absolute relevance, than it would have cleared out dozens of old threads that could be considered spam long ago. But the OOC allows for free-form posting, and so there is no reason to try and crack down on whatever others are posting. So your criticism of Valencia's choice of a thread isn't necessary. If that's your own personal statement, that's your choice, but you shouldn't try to discourage a freedom that is otherwise not a harm to the board. In any case Valencia, I definitely see Charizard as my type of Pokemon; back in the day of my nerdy youth, he was always the most badass in my little circle of kids that loved the game before the show ruined in. And I'm not afraid to admit that, either.

Screw that. First season was awesome. After that, it did get ruined though.

Have to agree with Alkaiser on this one. I still remember the episode when Ash gave away Butterfree. I cried.
...though I blame that on my age... and it really was sad xD

All I remember is some crazed Hippy, a snorlax, and something about blue moons. Seriously. Though, back in the day I saw the first movie in theatres. But then I grew old and realized how freaking annoying it was to have this animal screaming its name at you. Not to mention whenever I see pikachu I can't help but think where it's putting its hands...
But the games were good. For their time, they were very innovative. Just what you'd expect from Nintendo.

Valencia, this thread isn't funny, rather useless, and is bad, and you should feel bad. Oo; Huh? I was trying to be funny? This thread is more-so a comparison-"analysis"-what-if sort of thing... I figured my past "Random Tyme" threads would establish that.[black]Your eyes would bleed if I was trying to be funny[/black]. I just wished that I wasn't the only one thinking about other people's characters. ^^; Feel lucky that I didn't bring up a "What if PKMN were real" debate. The last time I asked a bunch of people, I got tons of mixed opinions... Some of which I wouldn't want to see again. We reached a conclusion, sure, but the process of getting there was... Kinda unnerving. The 1st Season of the show was pretty alright, everything else nowadays ain't as "violent" or "inappropriate"... Heck, Sabrina did some freaky psychic stuff. James had inflatable boobs. I think they edited the episode with the gun. Still not sure what happened to the Porygon-seizure-riffic episode. To this day, whenever Ash 'n' co. ate some sort of meat, I wonder what it's supposed to be... ::huggles her "PKMN Adventures/Special" manga where violence and not so kiddy-stuff actually happens:: The newer games are mostly newer elements, same-ol' formula, some 50+ more PKMN that don't even "look like PKMN" (some look more like Neopets and PKMN-wannabes). It wouldn't hurt if the plot got an overhaul like in Gold/Silver/Crystal... Or matched "Adventure/Special". (Lt. Surge, Koga, Sabrina, and Blaine were part of Team Rocket along with Giovanni of course, Elite Four were big villains, and Lance wanted to decimate the human race.) Ruby/Sapphire was a disappointment and I stopped playing around then... Unless you count "Trozei" and "Pinball". ::quits her PKMN fandom::

Junpei on the other hand... well I could see him having something like a Rapidash.

Whoa.... Sabrina was part of Team Rocket? That would explain just about half her actions along with the fact I had a card that trapped pokemon and showed her levitating a masterball... I knew about Lance giving up on the human race (being the goth that he was...) Anyways. If pressed, I'd say Taiku/Kazuki would fit well with an Arcanine. For Zerreth and Li. Ninetails to remind them of what kind of character they're trying to get back. Ein would fit with an Ursaring or Steelix depending on how dominating either is with their massive build.

Pain Killer - Machoke.
Honestly, that's pretty much the only one I remember. Except Haunter. But nobody's cool enough to be Haunter.
Wait! I remember Meowth too, from Team Rocket! Their motto was kickass.

You know, why weren't there ever any Pokemon Poachers?
Now THAT is a game I'd play, and a show I'd watch.

You know, why weren't there ever any Pokemon Poachers? Now THAT is a game I'd play, and a show I'd watch. In a world without guns (apparently), we were all forced to rely on that damn Poke-ball. And that ended up with Team Rocket. Of course, they weren't so bad of a plotline, other than their retarded representatives on the show... And I remember playing the Pokemon game series up until the second game series came out... then I kind of just lost track to other great games in the world.
