We all know its coming up. What I'm doing here is asking all the Seniors to post something in here, I don't care what, just to let me know the amount of active seniors we have. This way I, as one of the only active staff it seems, will have an easier time changing your title when the time comes.
EDIT: While not necessary to my goal here, if you're having trouble giving a topic tell me what you plan to have your character do after graduation, and whether they are staying around as a PC or not.

I'm mostly on the fence...
Should Valencia graduate, as a good chunk of her schooling and life in general suggests, she'd be looking for a regularly paying job... Like working at Hircine High's library, even though MacMillan will be paying for her paycheck as she attends college. I thought about her maybe working for Shamu, but the last attempt didn't really work out.
Meanwhile, I also feel as though I wasn't able to flesh out Valencia's character enough while she was in school. Threads moved too slow, life bogged things down (I actually do my work--all of it), and other stuff like that. As much as I want Valencia to stay a senior for another year, it'd have to take an IC "miracle" to happen for it to work. I can't just ignore all those "deadline" references, y'see.
Otherwise, here's the account to change the title. I just had to say something.

For those that plan to stay, which seems like everyone so far, I urge you to think more on what your character is going to do. Almost everything revolves around the school, and you can ask the few graduates that we have so far how hard it is to get back involved sometimes.

Please note that, while graduation is encouraged or even recommended for some, it is not an absolute necessity if you feel uncomfortable with the event. For example, while some seniors are board veterans that have roleplayed their character from an earlier grade or for a long duration, others may have just recently created their character, while others may not have had enough time to enjoy the high school experience.
In my view, if you're a student who was a Senior back on XINRP1, you should seriously consider accepting graduation, and as Tyler has pointed out, take into consideration what your character's future will be, if you continue to roleplay with them. For those that have been Seniors from the start of Hircine High, I encourage you to also consider graduation, however, this is still your choice. And for those of you that may have just joined the board with six months or less under your belt, I imagine that you would much rather prefer to have your character held back - for some reason that you'll have to figure out.
In any case, all seniors should post in this thread no matter what; anyone who has not will be graduated as a default. Don't take that as a chance to be lazy, though; posting here not only helps the staff save time, but also lets us all know what you might be interested in doing after graduation.
As for Leon, he's definitely graduating; I've actually been looking forward to taking a similar position to that of Shamino and Taiku. For Leon, he'll simply graduate, move into a modest apartment somewhere in within the city limits, and use some of his connections to purchase a small bar joint in the alleyways of San Fran, that he'll renovate into a pub where all forms of music are played. Whenever the fall college semester begins sometime after summer, he'll begin college - although, at this point, I'm going to make it uncertain with Leon whether he attends a college in the east coast or stay in San Fran and attend UCLA. I guess it all depends on how much the board changes.
In any case, that's what I hope to do with him, alongside him supporting Tyler Scott and bugging the hell out of Dain's students.

Victor's retaking his senior year voluntarily. He's probably going to focus more on his studies or whatnot and just see what else he can find. He's sort of a wanderer, so I'm not expecting him to do anything major.

A damn fine point, and once Thursday night hits, I have every intention to continue that thread. My buzz for Leon is back now, and at a perfect time, so I can get back to the good ol' roleplaying.

He's sort of a wanderer, so I'm not expecting him to do anything major. Victor reminded me of another good point. While John said that yeah, you technically can stay behind, its frowned upon. You aren't allowed to willingly take the year again like that Victor. Unless you come up with something else, you fail a required class, or you don't have enough credits. Not to say those are the only two options ever, but those are the basic ones. If you have another idea, run it by me, or another on the staff. Thats another good reason for this thread.

I'm really not sure what to do with Kai. I think I could keep him in Senior year by having him fall just short of the required credits, necessitating a retake (again! lol), since really there's nothing for him to do once he gets out. Or am I required to move on since Kai's a Varron transfer? Besides, I haven't really done anything with him, so I thought having some more time in the school would give me some more posting room. Edit: Yes, for those who still hadn't figured it out, this is my (Kai Schanburg's) alternate character.

My suggestion would be for those to just let their old characters go, unless they are dead set on keeping them. I'd like to keep flunkers to a minimum. After all, everyone can't retake their senior year. Plus, this way we get fresher faces for a fresh storyline. I think its more refreshing.
Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Good point. The only problem graduating has is that unless you're Taiku or Shamino or something, that's pretty much it once you're out, as people have said. There's nothing left, basically. I'm not saying people shouldn't graduate, I'm just making a point as to why some might be opposed to graduating.

I do have a back up idea. When Victor joined Hircine is never specified, so in my view he joined late in the year. Therefore although he did well in his studies, he did not fulfill the allotted amount of time in school necessary to graduate and must therefore retake the year.
Also, I could really use some recommendations on what to do with him. I've written him into sort of a corner, and I want to do more than just get him into fights. Do you have any suggestions Tiao?

I'm removing Zerreth, and dedicating my time to Li. This will occur in a thread after I finish my private "rebellion" story. Basically, please change once I change my name to Li alone.
So I'd just like to say beforehand, thanks for making that awkward double title for me. I know it looks really weird when you compare my character to the others...

No doubt; both Kira and Hikari will graduate. I'm not exactly certain on Kira, I think I might have her stick around. I haven't decided on what I'll be having her do just yet, but I'm sure it won't take too long to make that call. Hikari...well, doesn't seem like I really COULD use her anywhere, but she'll head off to University, most likely on the road back to Varron. Doctor, or something. Follow in her parents' footsteps. o-o
