One more time. If I can't do it here, I don't deserve to be able to.
Pain Killer hardly paid attention to the rules set out, his attention having been diverted to those fighters who had answered the call of the tournament sign ups. At first glance, he'd been excited, as the two names he recognized were both competitors he'd enjoy fighting against once again.
The kid and Taiku. Perfect. It's always fun to smack Kyu around, and I couldn't have asked for a more public place to beat Kaz.
Yet, it seemed as if such an opportunity had been lost, as Taiku never made an appearance, forcing a reserve fighter to be called into his match. Cursing inwardly, Adam threw his trenchcoat into a locker, making sure it was secure before heading out towards his match. At this point, Kyukaku would have just finished his own battle, providing he actually showed up for his fight, and win or lose, Pain Killer would give him the middle finger as he climbed into the ring and walked to the far corner.
Adam hadn't bothered to find out who his opponent was, as most of those he'd seen in the locker room were of the same general build. Aside from the tall stick-man, who Pain Killer was certain he'd tear through like wet tissue paper, the rest had been small, compact fighters. With only one night to go through several fighters, his strategy would be simple: let the smaller fighters waste energy using their speed, and pound them into the ground when the opportunity arose.
Confident as always, Adam would take three steps out from the ring corner once Jellar arrived, getting into a fighting stance to wait for his opponent to start them off. His right fist would be placed close to his jaw, while his left hand would be in a half-formed fist about a foot away from his face. His left leg would lead his body, turning him on a slight angle away from Jellar, his chest forming a 45 degree angle from his opponent.
From there, it would be up to Jellar to start the battle.
EDIT: Just fixed it so it said "Jellar" instead of "Auroth".

Jellar had biked to the tournament in his normal t-shirt and jeans, cell phone in his right pocket and keys in his left. He made quick time to get there, a backpack hanging from his shoulders that contained his own fighting wear, bottled water, bandages, and acupuncture needles. He had been called in as a reserve fighter, but he would be there regardless. He arrived to the tournament and stepped in, quickly redirected to the locker room where he heard the rules. He didn't have to pay full attention to know all what was going to be said.
When the rules were done, he sat in the locker room, anxious to see if he was to be called upon or not. Who would his opponent be? Others knew their opponents, as they were in norm line to fight, but Jellar's fight would be randomized, if he had one, based on who did or did not arrive. He began to reflect upon his only other two tournaments he participated in. He was grouped with Kyukaku both times, tied in the first, and lost in the second. He had then lost to a mysterious Aryck Venn. Hopefully, despite his bad placements in the past, he would do better in the present.
To his surprise and favor, Jellar's name was called to take reserve of Auroth. He knew Auroth, though not to a good extent. He quickly found who he would be fighting. The name was Pain Killer, or Adam Rydell. The name struck a bell, but only a vague, clouded image could be brought to Jellar's head. Where did Jellar know him from?
Regardless, it wouldn't make a difference as any meeting prior wouldn't make a difference to Jellar's determination today. He quickly changed into his silk clothing, white from his neck to his toes, and he switched into his martial arts shoes. His sleeves were long in baggy in both arm and leg, and he felt incredibly light, as if some outward force was holding him up. A t-shirt and jeans were many times heavier than the clothing he was wearing now, and his limbs felt free and flexible in the clothing.
Not wanting to get disqualified, Jellar walked out of the locker room and into the stage to see his opponent, immediately recognizable, approaching from the corner of the ring.
'Pain Killer, that redhead that landed a strong knee in my stomach...' Jellar thought, remembering that day the riot of the school broke out.
Pain Killer immediately took a stance, only three steps away from the corner. Odd, to Jellar's opinion, as he didn't leave much backing room, as he was only three steps from the corner. He took a deep breath, still eying his opponent, and then decided he would start. He only had ten minutes, anyways, to get the fight over with. He stepped forward quickly, not letting Pain Killer realize how little room he had left himself, but did not step too close to Pain, nowhere near striking range.
Whe he was about seven or eight feet from Pain Killer, Jellar took his own stance. He almost mimicked Adam in his stance, except for his right foot led. His chest was at the same 45 degrees, his left hand near his jaw in a fist, and his right hand about a foot away in a half fist. He thought quickly, deciding how to attack.
'He's bigger, stronger, and has a longer reach than I, so inching forward wouldn't do me any justice. I won't underestimate his speed, but I'm confident I am faster. A feint and a burst would be the best choice of action. I wont get entirely too close, as I need to observe his style of fighting, be it grapples or strikes. Here goes...'
Staring Pain Killer in the eye, where you can almost tell if a move was to begin, Jellar held a straight poker face, letting time and tension possibly give Adam some anxiety. After maybe fifteen seconds, Jellar would take a short hop forward, but still be out of Pain Killer's reach. With that, his right hand would strike forward, a light strike, but a fast one. It would hit only the air in front of Pain Killer's fist, but it was merely a feint. His hop and strike would take about one second. From the tense silence to the sudden activity, Jellar was almost certain Adam would flinch at least slightly, maybe even attempt to guard himself from the feint.
Jellar quickly withdrew his hand and made a quick slide forward, his right hand still poised to strike and his left hand still guarding his jaw. Keeping a note on both hands of Pain Killer, mainly his left, Jellar slid into attacking range of both Pain Killer and Jellar. With his right hand, when in range, he made a quick, but firm punch to Pain Killer's upper chest, right below the neck and in between the collar bones. An attack to the head would be too easy to dodge. A block was to be expected by Jellar's part, however. Whether the attack hit or not, Jellar would withdraw his hand with equal speed as his strike.

OOC: Not an important note, really, but PK's hair isn't red. It's black.
IC:
A Watchman! Somebody up there likes me.
A wide grin split across Adam's face, one that did not bode well for his opponent. He remembered this boy all too well, the one who'd saved his friend from Pain Killer's sneak attack and then disappeared into the riot. This time, however, his opponent had no such chance to escape, not without looking cowardly in front of an entire crowd of people. Even as Jellar took a stance that seemingly mirrored Pain Killer's own, Adam shook his head and laughed, not moving to engage, but rather still waiting for his foe to make the first move, as he'd planned.
How fitting. The first round, I get to deal with one of the many useless members of the Watchmen. If it weren't for Mya, I would've hunted them down already.
For a moment, the two stood in a classic staredown, Jellar's impassive poker face meeting Pain Killer's arrogant grin, before the smaller student spurred into action. His leading hand shot forward, causing Adam to pull his left hand closer to his face along with a small slide of his left foot back, causing him to stand taller and straighter. His own reach was greater than Jellar's, but at the moment he would not abuse that fact, instead remaining defensive and patient, a different strategy from that which he usually used. Still, there was no time like the present to try new things.
Jellar slid forward, sending a quick attack towards Pain Killer's chest, roughly, a good choice in order to keep an opponent from evading. Moving an entire torso out of the way of a strike was never easy, something Pain Killer used to his own advantage quite often, and had he been given the time, he might've reassessed his judgement of the Watchmen members' abilities. As it was, Adam was too busy shifting his right arm to his left, allowing his forearm to take the force of Jellar's attack before dropping it lower. Given the small distance he had to cover in order to block the attack, Adam couldn't help but wonder why Jellar had chosen such a high target, but he passed the thought off just as quickly as it came to him. After all, it could very well have been meant to simply spur him into action and create an opening.
Pain Killer was more than happy to give Jellar what he wished for.
Jellar's quick slide forward had brought the two into reasonably close quarters, as the younger man's range was certainly well within Pain Killer's. The youngest Rydell boy stepped forward with his right foot, placing it between Jellar's legs as he torqued his upper body to his left, sending his right forward in a powerful uppercut. By closing the distance between the two, it gave Jellar less time to react, as well as provided momentum to power Adam's attack that much more. His left hand, still a loose half-fist, would hover by his chest, on the left side, ready to be used should Jellar use this opportunity to counter-attack.

(OOC: My bad... I always had the impression your hair was red.)
Pain Killer stepping back was favorable to Jellar, as balance would be shaky in an almost standing position. If Jellar had the chance, he would take advantage of that lack of firm balance. However, his strike was blocked, as expected, and his hand was now retracted. The predictable thing to do, how Jellar saw it, was for Pain Killer to make a short jab with his left hand, and so Jellar prepared for such a thing. But that's not how things went.
It wasn't hard to spot the step forward by Adam Rydell, as such a step required a considerable amount of movement. He recognized him closing the gap, and he also recognized the lower right arm that would, once the step was finished, be capable of easily damaging Jellar. So, Jellar was going to move.
He instinctively took the action that required the least movement and would thus conserve the most energy and let his stamina run longer. He slid once more to his right, just before Pain's leg would start to make its descent to the floor. With Jellar's right hand, he would take a quick, light, but sharp jab to Pain Killer's left hand during his slide. The purpose was to have him retract it from a sharp sting and thus have him incapable of stopping Jellar's slide.
As Jellar finished his slide, he torqued to the right, his foot raising off the ground. Given the close range they were at, a full out kick wouldn't be successful. So a knee would be good. With the height difference, a knee to the stomach would be too difficult to reach, so he decided to target Pain's left inner thigh with it. Given the momentum from both the torque and the slide, the knee would definitely make it hard for Pain Killer to walk had the blow landed.
Throughout his dodge and attack, Jellar kept most of his attention still on Pain Killer's left hand, and also on his left leg. It was almost time to back out if Pain Killer was still in good condition to counter attack.

OOC: The avatar didn't give it away? Meh, it's all good. IC: Hn. Idiot.Of course, Pain Killer couldn't particularly blame Jellar for falling for his trap, as Taiku had fallen for the same thing. Still, he couldn't help but feel proud that his plan had worked once again, a rare accomplishment for the somewhat simple-minded Senior. There had been a reason Pain Killer had only taken three steps out from his corner, the very same reason he had stepped into his attack, herding Jellar in the direction he had wanted him to go. It was the very same reason that, despite the fact that Jellar's jab did not make him retract his hand (as truly, a small punch to the hand to someone who proclaims himself "Pain Killer" would hardly do such a thing), he did not interfere in the slide the smaller student did to the larger man's left. That reason being the ring ropes, themselves. By carefully remaining close to his corner, and through Jellar's own movements, Adam was delighted to find that the younger man now had his back to the ropes, hardly any distance at all from actually touching them. Now, Jellar's speed was all for naught, his mobility severely limited from avoiding the larger man's assault, and assault the smaller student he would. His left hand shot forward in a palm strike aimed at Jellar's chest, square between his pectoral muscles, even as Pain Killer pulled his right fist back close to his chest. With such a small distance between himself and Jellar, as well as the fact his hand hadn't moved his left hand from the small jab he'd been hit with, there was little doubt it would connect before Jellar's knee managed to strike his leg, which would throw off the smaller man's balance, regardless of whether he blocked or evaded the attack, as well as set him up for further attacks.

(OOC: I'd get into details about not specifying which corner you came out of, but I won't.)
Now you can't say that Jellar didn't factor in both the small distance to the ropes and the fact that the Pain Killer's left hand was very capable of striking, as he considered both before his current knee attack. Thus, it was little surprise to Jellar to see Pain Killer's left hand coming towards Jellar direction, and little thought was required to know how to avoid that attack, and also have his intended knee to land.
With his speed, his torque had started in good time before Pain Killer's hand had reached its target. Jellar still had an unused limb, which was his left arm, and he was going to use it now. With the same momentum provided by the torque and his slide that he used for his knee, Jellar used his arm. Pulled in close to his side, but a little to the forward, his arm was bent upwards, spaced a few centimeters from his side to provide strong and firm force. He spun his body a little bit more to his right to add additional torque. His left arm crashed into Pain's left wrist, deflecting the attack, while his left knee progressed.
Depending on whether Pain Killer had another plan to avoid Jellar's attack, Jellar would decide his next move, considering the corner and Pain's right arm that almost had Jellar's back open to it.

OOC: At this point, Kyukaku would have just finished his own battle, providing he actually showed up for his fight, and win or lose, Pain Killer would give him the middle finger as he climbed into the ring and walked to the far corner. First post. I could go into details about how you didn't specify where you stood in the ring, but I won't. IC: Jellar's move would have been a good one, had Pain Killer's palm strike simply been intended to hit and then retract. The problem was, Adam Rydell outweighed his opponent by roughly eighty pounds, something he intended to abuse to the fullest. As such, the self-proclaimed Pain Killer had not simply allowed his attack to sail off to the side, but rather, he leaned into his strike, pushing against against Jellar's momentum in order to hit the younger boy's shoulder, not severely damaging, but then again, it wasn't intended to be. Had Jellar ever seen Adam fight before, he would realize just what a palm strike generally preceded, but instead, it seemed as if he had walked into another of Pain Killer's tactics. Pain Killer's fingers would clench the silk shirt on Jellar's left shoulder, gripping the soft material and giving him a handhold for later, though at the moment, the older male was shoving Jellar at their only point of contact. Such a shove, despite Jellar's best efforts, would send the smaller boy backwards, not least of all due to the fact that Jellar was currently on one leg. With the young man on the ropes, literally, Adam would continue pushing Jellar with his left hand, pushing his upper body back and exposing the asian's midsection for attack. Capitalizing on such opportunity, Adam would send another right uppercut at his foe's torso, intending to strike him in the lowest ribs. C'mon, Watchman. Don't stop trying now, it's no fun when you stop struggling.A smile made it's way to his face, the thrill of the moment flooding through the youngest Rydell. If this was the sort of the competition he was to expect for the tournament, Adam knew he'd enjoy himself immensely. After all, who doesn't like a challenge?

(OOC: Not going to argue, as it's a petty matter that's not worth arguing.)
Entire body momentum of a good one hundred and sixty pounds, not to mention torque and a burst from sliding. With the ferocity of the spin that Jellar enacted, Pain Killer's strike would not be able to simply push Jellar back. Why not? He had just landed on his right foot, and thus lots of his center of gravity and force of weight would be centered on the right side. One arm, no matter how strong or forceful, was not going to be able to push back one hundred and sixty pounds fueled by high velocity. Simply, it was a case of p = mv, and given the previous right foot step made by Pain Killer, any lean in to his left was near impossible, and even if it was possible, redirecting the center of gravity as to keep balance through switching the direction of the body was inhuman and would leave the pursuer off balance by far.
Furthermore, a grab to the shoulder from a block deflected at the wrist by a forearm, even if the deflection was not successful, the arm would trail in front of Jellar, not able stopping to suddenly be able to grab at the left shoulder, especially if it was a lean in. With that, his knee continued and slammed into Pain Killer's inner thigh.
Jellar decided that with his attack, it was a good idea to back away from the ropes that were staring him in the face. With that, hoping that Pain Killer was feeling the pain in his inner left thigh very well, Jellar made a large hop backwards. A risky move, Jellar realized after taking off, to keep both feet off the floor in front of a large man that could send him far in a blow, but he was hoping his speed would take him away before Pain Killer could strike back. The ropes to his right, Jellar was now about half of the ring back from Pain Killer, and he stepped to the left to center himself with the ring. Then, he resumed the same position he started with, now waiting for Pain to make the offense.

OOC: Well, despite the fact I don't agree, I'll just go with what you said. Besides, this way works out better for me, anyway. Anyhoo, you know the drill, something wrong with my post, just PM me.
IC:
Allowing himself a sigh of annoyance, Pain Killer found himself tilting forwards, towards Jellar. Apparently, he had underestimated the younger man's velocity during his turn, assuming his natural strength and weight advantage would make up for the difference. Having been proven wrong, however, Adam's left hand was now sailing past Jellar, no long inhibiting the boy's balance, and thus, no longer interfering with the knee that struck against the older male's thigh.
Such facts were disappointing, as Adam had believed all members of the Watchmen to be, for lack of a better term, weak. If this one was a good representation of the group as a whole, then perhaps Pain Killer would reconsider his dislike for the gang, though even still, it was doubtful. The Watchmen rarely did much of anything, fashioning themselves to be the good guys, yet never being present when the shit hit the fan. If he tried hard enough, Adam could probably find a way to blame them for the disappearance of his sister, in his mind.
But he wouldn't. It was all too apparent just who was behind it.
Immediately after the impact, Adam's leg seemed to buckle, pulling him down into a squat and bringing him out of his wandering mind. Naturally, his upper body followed, bringing his left arm lower as it reached full extention, his shoulders now just slightly higher than Jellar's waist, his right shoulder touching the younger boy's back. Yet, during this time, Pain Killer would not be idle, his right arm whipping in front of him in order to wrap around Jellar's waist as the younger boy was still recovering from his knee attack. The left arm quickly followed suit to grab hold of his own forearm, holding Jellar in a bear-hug from the rear, only situated lower, below the ribs.
Whether the smaller man could take such pressure would soon be seen, as Pain Killer tightened his grip as best as he could, preparing himself to follow up depending on how Jellar reacted.

A bit or relief crept inside of Jellar's body as he felt his knee make contact, and he proceeded to push backwards immediately, taking the risk of jumping off of both feet to his back. However, it seemed the risk wasn't quite worth taking, as he felt a stronger arm around his waist to his back, completely blocking his path backwards. Naturally, though the ropes were very close, Jellar would go to the right, but as soon as he attempted to do that, Pain Killer closed the block with his left arm, a grip on Pain's right forearm sealing it.
'Well, shit,' Jellar thought, noting his tight situation. Given the position they were in, heavy knees were apt to land into Jellar's own legs, just as he had done to Pain Killer before. However, Jellar's hands were hovering above Pain Killer's head, which was pointed downwards, staring at Jellar's feet maybe.
If there was anything about Jellar that defined his strength in battle, it was not his speed. Not his speed, but his ability to think quickly and act accordingly in small amounts of time. He processed possibilities of battle, for example, as of now Pain Killer had a lot of control over Jellar's body and could disrupt any balance from Jellar with a simple pull from his tightened grip. He knew that his air was going to be lacking from the tightened grip, and so as soon as Pain Killer had his hold, Jellar inhaled deeply.
Though, that's not all he did.
As he breathed in lots of air, his right arm raised up, first turned backwards. The back skull of Pain Killer was just asking to be hammered, and it was going to happen now. Hoping that Pain Killer wasn't quick to follow up from his full-body grip on Jellar, he slammed his elbow down towards Pain Killer's skull, a bony protrusion sure to blur his vision if landed. Also, while that attack went down, his left arm was following suit, raising and, depending on Pain Killer's reaction, lowering as well.

The straightening of muscles along Jellar's torso could be felt by Pain Killer's head and arms, tipping him off that the younger boy was raising his arms. Exactly what his opponent was doing, Adam couldn't know for sure, but he could only assume it involved an attempt to free himself from Adam's grip. The older boy, however, had no intention of giving Jellar time to work his way free. No, instead he would end this fight here and now.
It's deja vu all over again...
His legs thrust as hard and fast as possible, Adam retaining his tight grip on the younger man as he did so, hoisting Jellar into the air. Naturally leaning backwards as he did so in order to use his upper body to aid in the lift, he hefted Jellar's waist upon his shoulder as he rose to his full height. Such a lean made Pain Killer tilt his head back as well, moving with his body, and causing Jellar's elbow to glance off of the rounded part of the back of his skull, still painful to be sure, but hardly the debilitating blow it had the potential to be. Still, stubborn as he was, Pain Killer refused to allow such pain to deter him from his task.
The task, of course, involved slamming Jellar to the ground as painfully as possible.
Continuing with the momentum of his lift, Pain Killer threw himself backwards, curving his spine back in order to ensure his upper body would take the brunt of the impact upon hitting the mat. Of course, given the angle he was currently holding Jellar, the younger man's head was on a direct course to impact against the mat first, in a possibly crippling manuever should he do nothing to defend himself. Even should Jellar manage to break his fall, the impact would likely cause him to release the breath he had so carefully taken earlier in order to hold out longer, at the very least, though the pain from being slammed into the ground was nothing to scoff at either.

(OOC: Is the ring padded or concrete? I'll adjust the damage on the next post depending on that.)
Right as Jellar felt the force push himself upwards, even before his feet left the ground, Jellar immediately knew a few things. One, he was going to be lifted and slammed down somewhere. Two, given the time Pain Killer took to begin the lift, the slam was going to be very, very soon. Three, Jellar's attacks were going to be of little effect to freeing himself from the grip, as he soon found when his elbow missed its target.
The only plausible plan was to attempt to break his fall, whever it may have been. It was only to Jellar's luck that the slam was made so Jellar was facing forward, a point to where he could use his arms, in contrast to his back, where he would be helpless to defend.
Though, Jellar wasn't about to just take the fall and be happy about it. He decided quickly which arm he was going to sacrifice, and given that Jellar was right handed, he would sacrifice his left.
Seeing how the momentum given from the lift was sending Pain Killer in a backward arc, he easily assumed that the slam was going to go in that direction. He was going to do anything he could to save himself damage to any important part of his body. In this case, his head was the apt decision to attack from Pain Killer's point of view.
With that, Jellar sunk his head inwards almost like a turtle returning to his shell. Following, he placed both hands on the back of Pain Killer's head, forcing his shoulders up a little to almost guard both sides of his head while applying pressure to Adam's head. He was sure to take a hit, but he wasn't going to take one without giving Adam one in return.
Then the descent came, and Jellar prepared mentally and physically to do two things.
As the slam came, Jellar shifted to his right, allowing his shoulder to hit the ground first. Of course, given the grip that Pain Killer had, more than 30 degrees of turn was impossible, though the impact was reduced heavily, Jellar's head rebounded from his shoulder and his left cheek slammed into the floor, his neck craning from the impact and position given.
But just as the slam made impact, Jellar had shoved downwards on Pain Killer's head. Furthermore, both of Jellar's knees came upwards. Given the way he pushed, his knees would smash right into Pain Killer's face, using both the momentum of bringing his knees up and the momentum of Pain Killer's own slam. While Jellar's head surged with pain, his entire skull vibrating, shaken from the slam, Pain Killer would more than likely have a bloody nose and a large bruise on his face.
With that, Jellar was feeling enormous pain, hoping that Adam would as well. Depending on Adam's reactions and the time it would take to dissipate the pain well enough to be able to move away again, Jellar would wait, knowing that given the positions of the arms and legs of Adam, he was in no condition to land an attack unless he let go of the grip.

OOC: As far as I know, it's just a regular boxing ring. Take from that what you will.
IC:
Naturally, there was very little Pain Killer could do in order to counter Jellar's push of his head as his slam played out. Then again, given his grip and the manner that Jellar pushed, he didn't have to. In order to exert any real pressure in his hold, Pain Killer would have been squeezing Jellar against himself, which in turn, would have his head pressed against the younger man's torso. Regardless of how hard Jellar pushed downwards, the most that could happen would be Adam's head sliding lower down while still touching Jellar, and unless the smaller student could manage to knee himself in the waist, the best he could hope for was to strike Pain Killer in the chest, the muscle there able to absorb such a blow much more effectively.
After the impact, Pain Killer immediately rolled to his left in order to get off his back, pulling Jellar with him and to put the smaller boy on his back. Without pause, he pulled his knees up underneath him in order to bring him to a hunched over position over Jellar, still holding the smaller boy in a bearhug with admittedly less pressure, given the positioning they were currently in. In the end, it didn't particularly matter, as he had no intentions of holding the submission any longer than he had to, simply needing to keep the faster Jellar from escaping his grasp. After all, now that the two were on the ground, it would be much more difficult for Jellar to avoid his attacks, and Adam could truly use his strength for much better results.
His right knee came forward, past his left in order to drive the knee directly into Jellar's stomach. While the initial impact was hardly painful, Adam would lean his body weight on that leg, driving well over two hundred pounds into Jellar's stomach in an incredibly painful move, while at the same time, releasing his bearhug and leaning back, pulling his head out of range for Jellar to hit him with his hands without having to sit up. It was certainly possible for Jellar to use his legs, however, which meant Adam would be wary of motions from Jellar's lower half, while he awaited Jellar's reaction. After all, simply rushing in would do him no good, and possibly give Jellar the advantage.

Jellar's knees didn't quite nail the vulnerable spot of Adam Rydell's face as he had intended, but his knees had hit something other than the padded ground of the ring. His head was ringing on impact and his vision was blurred sort of like the way it is when too much blood goes to your head. After all, that's exactly what happened. Too much blood was rushing to Jellar's head, and he needed to adapt to that to regain his vision, and that would be in a few seconds.
Though, a few seconds wouldn't quite be short enough to have Jellar anticipate Adam Rydell's knee. Or at least, exactly what Pain Killer was doing.
Luckily, during the slam, Jellar brought his knees up which was almost a curling up motion. When the slam impacted Jellar, the motion was locked stiff into Jellar's muscles, and his knees continued to rise involuntarily. When he was turned over, his knees traveled upward towards his chest, which he felt touch something of Pain Killer. Still lucky, it seemed the contact bore little force until pressure was added later, saving both of Jellar's shins from possible fracture if Pain Killer had struck with full momentum from the beginning of the attack.
By this time, Jellar regained his sharp vision and saw and felt the position he was in. Pain Killer had loosened the grip and was on top of him. His face was beyond reach of Jellar's arms, which were rather free to action right now. The only real injury was the throbbing headache he had, along with a pain in his left shoulder. Jellar, thinking quickly, though not nearly as quickly as before, recognized that Pain Killer's arms were free to attack, and that his arms were free to attack as well, though he was at a worse position. Given the weight, Jellar wouldn't be able to push Pain Killer off, so he'd have to do something, and quick, to avoid a pummeling by Adam Rydell.
It was times like these that Jellar was glad he had worn his smooth silk clothing to the fight.
At the moment, the Pain Killer's knee was caught between Jellar's two shins, his legs pushing together with considerable force as to not let it through his legs to hit him in the stomach. The pushing together was force normal, which increased friction between the crevice of his two shins. However, if he lightened up that force normal just a bit, Adam's knee would come falling through, very unexpected as far as Jellar could tell to Adam.
Jellar acted quickly, in fact, very quickly to the point that Jellar was at the limits of his speed given the condition of his body. He quickly planted his hands palm down beside him on both sides as a base of support. He quickly pushed on them, exerting his biceps. He quickly let loose the force normal holding Pain Killer's knee between his shins. Just as the did that, he quickly exerted even more energy in his arms, while quickly kicking upwards to the air behind him with his legs. The kicks weren't aimed at Pain Killer. He was doing a roll, and with high speed, a speed enough to avoid Pain Killer's knee to come.
He successfully flipped backwards, his hands leaving the planted padding he had gripped early. His toes went into the pad behind him, and he caught himself with his hands, to the point where he was almost in a push-up position. Without any hesitation, he pushed with both of his hands off the ground and upward, and with good balance, was standing up right again.
In the meantime, Pain Killer's right knee would be hitting the floor. Jellar saw his escape as completely unexpected and very apt to throw Pain Killer off balance from the sudden slip downwards.
Rather than rush to attack, Jellar tensed his head up, attempting to ease the pain he was feeling. As he did that, he melted into the stance that he started the fight with, wary of any surprise attack Pain Killer could take from the floor. He was hoping that Pain Killer would take time in getting up so he could recover from the slam. It was still hurting his head and part of his neck, along with his left shoulder.

With the sudden loss of balance, Pain Killer's right leg instantly began to straighten, his boot hitting the ring at about the area where the ball of his foot was, cutting down on the time it would take for him to have a stable base to work from. Even as he slipped from his positioning on top of Jellar, Pain Killer's left hand whipped forward, grabbing hold of Jellar's right ankle, his pinkie finger on the side where Jellar's shin was, while the thumb was wrapped around the back of Jellar's ankle.
Heh, where do you think you're going?
Once Jellar was in the process of rolling over his shoulders, in order to bring himself to his stomach, Pain Killer pulled as hard as he could, jerking the leg back towards himself. There was a very real danger of Jellar trying to use the momentum to give Adam a powerful kick, and so, during his next movements, Pain Killer would be cautious of Jellar's left leg.
Without pause, Adam stuffed Jellar's leg underneath his right arm, the ankle wedged in his armpit while his right forearm clenched against the bottom of the younger man's ankle. Throwing himself back, Pain Killer would then attempt to wrap his legs around Jellar's captured limb in a leg grapevine, isolating the muscles there as he began putting a great deal of pressure on the ankle, leaning back and hyperextending the joint, intent on dislocating, spraining, or even breaking that ankle. His left arm remained hovering by his chest at this point, giving him something to defend himself with should Jellar attempt to kick him in order to be released.

(OOC: All edits involved as of now are involved with switching each of the directional changes on Jellar's legs alone. His arms are still of the previously mentioned direction.)
'No way...' were the thoughts racing through Jellar's head when he felt Pain Killer's hand wrap around his ankle. Even kicking away, Pain Killer's left arm had enough speed and accuracy to catch a snapping leg. Whether it was luck or not, Jellar didn't have the time to think this time. He was about to get locked into a grip again, and there was probably only one thing Pain Killer could do this time, and that was a pull on the leg.
Jellar felt himself tugged backwards from his attempt to roll, his right leg shooting downward more violently than his left leg. He had his left leg rather high into the air, as it wasn't being pulled forcefully like his right leg was. His right leg was in complete control of Pain Killer at the moment, and he was soon pulled further forward from Pain Killer throwing himself backwards.
Jellar's left leg was coming down with considerable force, and he wasn't going to hesitate to use it. The momentum provided by Pain Killer with his pull was great, and Jellar wasn't going to let that go to waste. While Pain Killer was wrapping his legs around Jellar's, which he could both see and feel, Jellar's leg bent to an angle of about one hundred and fifty degrees, enough to have his foot reaching Pain Killer's chest area when it made its dangerous impact.
The grapevine lock was effective. However, it took three limbs to do. Jellar had three limbs to use as well, all of which would be in focus of attacking Pain Killer enough for him to loosen his grip. Jellar felt the pressure pushing his ankle backwards, and naturally he fought against it, though it was obvious one ankle muscle wasn't going to be able to hold off at least two hundred pounds or more of force for more than ten seconds.
Jellar sat up as best he could and put his arms into action. His left leg was either resting on Pain Killer's chest or his arm now, whether or not he had blocked or not. However, his leg wasn't going to remain idle for more than half of a second, as he would sharply and quickly fully extend that leg. Had Pain Killer just blocked the left leg with his left arm, there was no way it was going to be able to stop Jellar's leg from snapping straight and having his foot snap straight into Pain Killer's jaw with considerable force. Jellar realized that this hit could aid Pain Killer in adding pressure to his ankle, so Jellar prepared for extra force added.
Just as he extended his leg, he leaned forward, his left calf muscles becoming very strained right now from the grapevine. He could only get about 60 degrees off the floor, but that was good enough. He planted his left hand into the mat to the left of him for support and pulled his right arm back. He gritted his teeth in pain from his ankle and sent his right hand forward in a strong punch to Pain Killer's left inner knee. Should this have landed, which Jellar could see nothing preventing this except for the intense pain in his left ankle, which was close to getting sprained by now, the shockwave of the hit through Pain Killer's body might have triggered any residing pain in his left thigh.
If that wasn't enough, Jellar would repeat the process, aiming at the same spot until something happened.

Right on cue...
As Adam had thought before, the first attempt Jellar used to free himself involved an attack with his left leg, thrusting it down towards Pain Killer's chest and using the momentum Adam had given him. Having expected such a maneuver, Pain Killer shot his left hand towards his right, letting the foot slam against his forearm as it crossed his chest. Having no idea what Jellar was planning for his next move, Adam would instead play it safe, and give himself better positioning.
In the same instant that Jellar was extending his leg, Pain Killer pushed his forearm up, not so much as to defend against the attack he had no idea was coming, but rather, to give the rest of his body some clearance as he began to roll to his left, continuing to keep the pressure on Jellar's ankle. Such movements would cause Jellar's kick to shoot past it's original target, clipping Pain Killer's shoulder barely as it flew by. As Adam brought himself left, his legs straightened, though remained crossed at the heels, in order to make it easier to turn over to his stomach.
The movement, while perhaps seemingly odd, did in fact have a reason behind it. By rolling to his stomach, Pain Killer would force Jellar to do the same motion, unless he preferred his leg to be tugged in an incredibly awkward position, very likely to do a good deal of damage to his leg, well past what Pain Killer could manage to perform to his ankle with the hold he currently had on. Should Jellar choose to save his leg and turn with the self-proclaimed Pain Killer, the two would wind up facing away from each other, stomachs facing the ground. Not one to let such an opportunity escape him, Adam unhooked his legs and pulled them up to his chest level. Leaning back, Pain Killer would proceed to give Jellar a modified "Half Boston-Crab" submission hold, consisting of Pain Killer squatting over Jellar's rear, his left hand supporting Jellar's knee as he pulled back as hard as he could, putting pressure on both the ankle as well as the spine of the younger male.

(OOC: If it's a little weird or you don't understand what I'm doing, or, if you have something wrong with the post, PM is the way to go.)
Either he thinks as fast as I do, or he has incredible instincts telling him what to do next...
Jellar felt his left leg whiz by, scraping something by generally hitting nothing but air. He returned his leg to a normal position placed comfortably at his left as he began to plant his own left hand into the mat. However, that was cut short immediately as he saw Pain Killer beginning to take another action. He saw Pain Killer begin turning his body, and he saw him loosen the grapevine on Jellar's leg as he began to roll.
Again, it was times like these that Jellar was glad he had worn his smooth silk clothing to the fight.
It was a mistake for Pain Killer to both decide to roll and loosen the grapevine. Sure, it would have made the rolling easier, but if Jellar gave enough resistance, Pain Killer's heels would slip right across Jellar's leg, losing complete control of the grapevine. Granted, Jellar's right ankle was still being held firm in Pain Killer's armpit, and if Jellar wasn't wearing silk his right leg might have broken right there, but he was rather flexible and easily withstood the stretch by the time Pain Killer's heels had slipped off of Jellar's silk clothing.
Jellar's ankle was very, very strained right now, so just as he saw Pain Killer lose grip his grapevine, Jellar did what he could to save his ankle. Though maybe not the best idea given the judgement, his ankle was feeling all over his body, so he made this decision with about 65% instinct and 35% thought process.
Rather than attempt to pull away from the grab, Jellar did exactly the opposite. He pushed himself toward the arm, his leg going deeper into the armpit hold than Pain Killer probably intended. Given the roll, Jellar was carried a little bit as he couldn't completely escape, but since Pain Killer's hold was now around the shin area, no longer the ankle, Jellar didn't roll with him. He let Pain Killer's grip circle around so that Jellar was still facing upward, carried to his right but still with his back to the ground.
Jellar felt relieved of all the pain building in his ankle while he was sure to anticipiate a similar technique used on his shin. So he needed to get out of the hold, as he had been needing to for a while now.
His left leg was free at this point, and there was no limb that Pain Killer could use to stop it now.
Jellar quickly bent his leg to the same 150 degree angle that he did before as it rested on Pain Killer's back at this moment. Then, without waiting at all after bending his leg, he fully extended it, aiming for the back of Pain Killer's head. This time, Jellar anticipated another roll. He knew Pain Killer knew what he was doing given how Jellar dragged his left foot on Pain Killer's back, so he expected a reaction. He also kept a good look at Pain Killer's legs, as they were in good shape to kick, which is why Jellar had his two arms at the ready.
