and he felt the legs of his food, his opponent wrap around his. and he fell witha hard thump, and a small groan escaped from his mouth. But yet his sharp filed teeth still were pressing down, his objective? Simple, bite down hard enough for the skin to brek and the teeth to penetrate deep enough to cause blood loss. He felt the hard slamming of his head on the mat. Xenarius had a look of desperation, a look of wanting to survive. IT would be p to him to either surrender, or surrender with honor, as in Maveriks teachings. around a few more head bangs...Raphael applied more pressure to his bite. And then he felt the tumb of Xenarius, pressing the life out of them. Then he started Biting harder...and Harder...and harder...and Harder...til then...The sound of blood gushing was heard...

"Oh this is no good at all. At least I will go out with my honor still intact." I thought to myself as I felt the blood start to trickle out and then seep faster and faster out of my neck. He had pierced my Jugular and I didn't have the strength in me to pry his mouth off of me. "Good fight Raph... and good luck in your next round. Give them hell for me." I whisper into his ear as I feel the blackness center in on me, and then I knew nothing more.

And the blood sprayed into his mouth. The warm, somewhat metal taste of crimson coming out of Xenarius's Juguler vein. He actually drank a few portiosn before hearing him say 'Good luck in the next round. And with that, he simply pushed off Xenarius and stood up high. He licked all the blood off his fingers. And when he saw the load on his hands, he brushed his red hands through his hair, and let the crimson moose glisten in his hair. he looked up and let out a horrible roar of blood lust. Morte...has feasted.... He looked to his downed opponent and couldnt help but feel more respect for Xenarius. He went to the corner and picked up the two hand-wraps. HE walked back to the downed warrior and tied up the deep gush with both wraps. "It can't help you...but it can stop the bleeding til you get to the hospital...." He whisperd into his ear. He got up once more and stood in the middle of the ring...and faced everyone, a look of ferocity in his eyes.

He had watched from a stationary camera that lingered on the ceiling, pointed at the four corners. He winced in disgust when Raphael had actualy bitten his opponent. "What kind of fucking animal is he?" Shamino said with a small frown. "He needs to be taken care of."
He exited a small booth, walking past the shocked and mildly applauding audience. The crowd parted with every gentle tap Shamino put on people's shoulders. Until he was facing Raphael outside the ring, his arms folded as he looked up at the young man. He gave Raphael a point with his right index finger, then placed Shamino's thumb against his neck, dragging it along his jugular. He gave a small nod before walking towards the exit.

[RUTH]: “Huh… I actually won that bet?”
Valencia looked over to Ruth as she confusedly ran her fingers through her hair. As for Gladys, she had an even more perplexed look on her face since… For one, Raphael decided to do his own reenactment of the movie “JAWS” with a “Night of the Living Dead” mixed in here and there. Ew. Ick. Who’s gonna clean up that ring?! For another, she lost the bet and had to pay up. Technically, it was Valencia’s money and the cash is simply circulating through the same hands, but it’s still money and in the end, Valencia doesn’t get any of it back unless something really strange happens. Gladys sighed as she dug into her purse and handed over a small wad of cash to her girlfriend, then got ready to take a break. Ruth accepted it and was about to do the same until she noticed that Valencia didn’t budge an inch. The Vietnamese lady was still watching the ring as a fellow walked out to the combatants and made a “cute and subtle” threat to the victor.
[RUTH]: “Say… Valencia… Raphael and Xenarius… You still think you can beat them both blindfolded?”
“…And while walking backing backwards more than half the time. Xenarius didn’t exactly know how to fend off Raphael while he was playing Dracula. If he did, he wouldn’t have lost.”
[RUTH]: “Girl… Let’s hope that you don’t get bothered after saying such things… It’s bad enough that we get jumped every so often as is.”

Post by Maverik on Feb 7, 2007 10:23:04 GMT 1
Maverik slowly approached Raphael as he exited the ring, taking note of both Shamino’s threat, and that the tournament at least had staff on hand to take Xenarius to the hospital. ‘I’ll call his mother after this is over… Explain that he was jumped by some thugs on the way to his session…’ Maverik thought silently. He was starting to gain connections around San Francisco, rebuilding his information network, and of course, the first to fall under that were his own men. The Watchmen.
“Seems you won Raph… Or should I say Morte?” He asked with a raise of his eyebrow. Of course he had done background checks on the Watchmen members. He knew that he himself could be dangerous in the wrong situation. He just wanted to know who else shared that darkness. And so he had learnt about Raphael’s ‘other name’. Though he was unsure how he felt about the boy’s actions in the ring.
“I will assume that what I just witnessed was indeed your ‘bloody hands’ technique, and though noble the intent to not kill your opponent, it troubles me to see such a vicious nature emerge when fighting a comrade…” He paused, though his words seemed harsh, his eyes were free of judgment. He did not condemn Raphael for his actions, nor did he feel ill will towards him. “In the ring, new rivalries are often forged, and friendships placed aside so that one may fight without conscience, and achieve victory, despite the road they must travel to obtain it…” He placed a hand on each of Raphael’s shoulders and looked closely into his eyes.
“Just don’t lose yourself to the beast within Raph… Otherwise, you’ll end up hurting those close to you…” He let his arms slip from the boy’s shoulders and closed his eyes, pointing his face at the ceiling as memories of the carnage Dead Eye caused came flooding back to him. But he soon discarded them, opening his eyes once more and looking back to Raphael. “Good luck in the next round…” He said as he turned around, pausing a moment and looking back. “And keep an eye out for Shamino… When he marks someone, they end up dead or wishing they were…” He then turned his head back as he disappeared into the crowd once more, searching for Xian.

Uh-uh...Just, no.
I'm sorry folks, but this fight is done, due to Raphaels blatant disregard for the rules, he is disqualified and now will serve a two-week ban from the site.
If there are people questioning the severity of such an action, let me explain this to you so you have nothing to come whining to me about:
1. Biting his opponents neck, firstly for ANY human to be able to manage such a feat (considering the amount of force needed to puncture the skin deep enough to sever the jugular, not to mention to the reaction of the opponent to the attack. Whilst it wouldn't be completely impossible by any means, it's not going to be an easy thing to do and considering the manner in which Raphael has gone about performing the move, it's as close to pulling off an auto-hit, not to mention the clearly obvious nature of the attack being a fatal one, so there is ANOTHER rule broken.
Oh, and there's also the obvious fact that Raphael is basically acting outwith the realism of this board. Even in this tournament, do you expect to get away with severing your opponents neck and drinking his blood? I'm sorry, but if you get to do it once you'll start trying to use it against other opponents. Special attacks are all fair and well on the board, but like Bruce has been told in the past, as have many other players, they have to be logical, AND NOT AUTOHITS.
Finally, I have to take into account the fact that Raphael has been walking on very thin ice for a long while now, both on the previous board and this one. His style and method of writing for his character, with every attempt NOT to sound personally insulting, are very weak, and he basically delivered here the straw to break the camels back....
This is my decision, if Xenarius wishes to progress in this match, do so. Everyone else, I'm sorry if this isn't what you expected, but understand WHY. Same goes for you, Nick, you should know full well why I did this.

Are you saying that I should just pretend the whole thing never happened and I will advance to the second round of the tournament or that I can advance if I choose to but have to take the injury into account? If it is the former I will of course progress into the second round. If it is the later I will forfeit that right, per my injury.

no, because the injury is the problem in hand, it is considered non-canon, and as such (again, the choice will lie solely between you and Kurtz to debate it, not me. This is his tournament, not mine), you are uninjured.
Anyway, moving on.

Fight goes as so:
Fight starts
Xenarius hits Rapheal.
Rapheal hits ground.
Xenarius wins by KO.
Just because I'm in charge of this tournament doesn't mean people can slack on the rules, it actually means people are going to have a harder time because I'm tougher than MJ. So now Rapheals absense qualifies him for the instant loss rules of this tournament.
Xenarius wins.
