[( Taru, this is your warning from me that unless your character managed to somehow find out Kira and Leon were graduating IC, you're pushing the boundary of what your character could possibly know, here... Don't panic, though, I'll let it slide this time. )]
'Wait a damn minute. How the hell does this kid know I'm going to graduate?!' Kira thought, shocked and alarmed. Huge school, over a thousand students, and he knows about her, of all people?! She had kept her head down after that little mock-the-school-captain routine with Hikari, but unless the kid had super spy glasses, he wasn't going to know by knowing where she went to class; he had classes as well.
Grumbling mentally away, she managed to pull herself out of her stupor to beam a smile at Charlotte. "Likewise, Charlotte."
The thing she said, about the first two meetings not going well with Stern, had Kira raising an eyebrow, but saying nothing. Keeping her gaze flicking calmly back and forth between Taru and Charlotte, Kira listened before interjecting at Taru's words, her tone holding a fair amount of bite to it.
"Have you thought that the pillars are 'douchebags' because they need to be, to keep the riff-raff down in manageable quantities..." Kira countered, holding up her hands as she reached the end. "But don't point your finger at me for saying it to defend them. There are two sides to every coin, after all."
During this time, Kira had lifted her head completely off Leon's shoulder, even going so far as to sit up slightly, her gaze pinned on Taru. Now that she was finished, she leaned back again with a small, almost frustrated, sigh. Shaking her head, she waited as Leon spoke, flicking her fingers lightly against her leg.

As soon as Leon found Charlotte sitting next to him, her own stature rather relaxed, his ears perked at her mention of meeting Stern Mason twice. His eyes side glanced to her in an instant, made eye contact, then glanced back toward Taru as he began to speak in reply.
'Two meetings? Why'd she feel the need to see him a second time?'
Loire was honestly a bit unsure of what to think of the girl. She had acted as a loyalist to her Hircinian classmates at the riot in a rather clever fashion, seemed to have some sort of connection to Shen and the local Staff, yet had played a vital role in helping Leon recover his feet and to antagonize Mason. What side was she on? It was clear she was against Stern or Kvist; in the end, however, was she with Blayne's Pillarship or Leon's group of Varronites?
'I'll need to keep an eye on her. She's an intelligent one, that's for sure, and having her on our side would be absolutely vital. In the end, this planned move against Kvist could really help bring sympathy out of her towards our cause.'
While Loire was rather cautious of his words and movements against Charlotte, however, he did have to admit one thing: she was an intrigue to him, someone with a sharp mind and a sharper wit. In the end, no matter what end of politics she ended on, Leon would always hold a certain level of respect toward her soul.
Now, toward Taru...
'...He's honestly less naive than I first thought.'
Yes, Taru was exaggerating a good deal toward Mason's power, and his following, and his chances of success, and his clear intentions. Yes, Taru was a bit biased towards the Pillarship in an immature manner. But in the end, Leon found himself smiling inwardly towards one perspective, one observation, that Taru had caught on: the long-term damage.
'He sees a successor is necessary, and he realized Stern had no interests in doing so. He sees Stern for what he really is: a leader of Chaos, desiring change without the proper means to adopt a better lifestyle afterwards...'
While the Sophomore fidgetted and Kira seemed to suddenly feel the need to explain the Pillar's reasons for acting as they did, Leon side glanced her with a sort of smirk. Yes, her passionate mind was open, and Charlotte's own attention was drawn as well. All that was necessary now was to prove that Taru was no mere child. He was young, yes; he was a bit foolish and misdirected, yes; but in the end, he had a good deal of potential. His only need was for someone to teach him of the Truth.
'Vi Veri Vniversum Vivus Vici...'
"Through the Power of Truth, I, a Living Man, have Conquered the Universe..." Leon spoke out lightly, closing his navy eyes as his lips smiled, then opened them to glance toward the two women beside him, then towards the boy, the eventual man, "Have you ever heard that proverb Taru? It's one of my favorite quotes - which is ironic, considering another who enjoyed it happened to be the foundation of modern cultism."
Leon shrugged off his jacket and tossed it behind him, looking back with another quote in his mind, "Another happens to be 'Speak Softly, but Carry a Big Stick,' by our former President Theodore Roosevelt. A Liberal; a Republican. Quite a rare mix nowadays, when you think of it, yet in the end, he acted as a foundation of modern Progressivism. Liberty, in his mind - in mine - is an absolute necessity to a Human being, and because of that, it is why I believe you felt the desire to side with Stern Mason. Yes, the current Captain and his Pillars strip us on our civil rights to the brink of deep Conservativism, and use oppressive violence to suppress our woes. Yes, they have good intentions, perhaps, but is it right of them? Ah, gotta love puns..."
Leon stripped the leather gloves from his hands, placed them on the blanket below him, "Yet, you turned away from Stern Mason for good reasons Taru, and for that you should be commended. All Mason wishes is for Change, he has no intention - from what we can see - to appoint an alternative body, a new Captain, and his past is a clear indicator that if he did, it would not be any better than the current Captain. Yet do not speak darkly of Blayne; he is a wise man, and while he is not exactly 'good,' he is not evil, and he is not the true enemy of the student body here. He is only a symptom, an extension. He can be saved, he can be swayed. The only question is: how?"
Leon smiled again, keeping his attention towards the boy, yet knowing his words kept the girls next to him strongly. "Perhaps I hope to be that sway of the Captainship, to convince Blayne to change his views, to protect his students in another way, and to enforce the laws of our own against those who would harm us. After all, isn't it ironic that we should listen to a System that harms us as well? Why should we trust them if we can only trust ourselves? Yet, right now, politics are too difficult to concern ourselves over. Blayne is strong, Stern Mason weak. His methods are doomed to fail, unfortunately, and our only chance for real change is through another approach that I hope to lead. So... tell me Taru, would you be interested in such a path? Or has Stern Mason killed your wishes for a new way of life?"
OOC: So sorry for the long rant folks... but you know how I tend to get.

"Well. I'm not that close with Stern at all. I'm friends with Adam. I don't plan to get into any fights with any pillars soon. But if I get my ass defeated by the pillars. It won't be too long till Mason finds out. He's planning to take out all of the pillars. But to be honest. There's only one pillar I have a grudge against. Tiao. He's the only pillar I despise. I don't care if none of the other pillars are taken out. As long as Tiao gets it. I'm fine. "
" That's the first reason why I joined Mason was to defeat Tiao. But I have a feeling that I'm going to get into a fight. And I'm going to lose. And I also have a fight with Odin. Something bad is going to happen to me. And it'd be nice to have some visitors in the hospital haha. Jokingly of course, I don't think I'll actually get that injured."
Taru smiled happily. A proverb huh?
"Proverbs? I don't know that many sadly. I wish I did though. And I am willing to change. After I see Tiao get his ass handed to him. As long as I know or see that, I will do whatever to change that. I just want Tiao taken out. That's basically it. I have a grudge against him since I joined Hircine. I'll leave Stern's group in a heart beat after that. Still having Adam as a friend of course. I just don't want Tiao around. He's a bastard."
Taru frowned as he knew something was going to happen to him. He just knew it. Taru scratched the back of his head like always waiting for a response.
ooc:The thread for the hospital is in the hospital.

A long drink of nice cold water in the spring was incredibly soothing as he felt every drop run down his throat, Jellar pushing his tuxedo shirt back as to not get it wet. He stood there, drinking for maybe three-fourths of a minute, and was ready to go back and join the other three, one of which he had not met, and that of which Jellar was definitely willing to meet. However, when he turned back, he saw a fourth, familiar figure. He began walking back, attempting to recall who that person was, and so he did.
'I still tinge from the bruises of that day,' Jellar thought quietly, tiny amounts of animosity being felt towards that girl. The troublemaker, the stunt-puller, and the obvious Varronite-detester, from the actions that Jellar had seen. Though Jellar was not to be defined as a supporter of the Varronites, he knew that indirectly he had felt harm from that girl, though Jellar did not know her name. However, it seemed the other three were getting along quite fine, so perhaps Jellar could change his views.
As he neared, he heard the conversation and his ears picked up to a multitude of things. Mainly the name Stern Mason.
Oh, sweet memories from Varron Academy.
Taru provided the information. Leon and Kira assimilated it and provoked more of it. The other girl, who from the conversation Jellar learned was Charlotte, seemed to be merely gaining information. Of the three roles, Jellar would have to consider himself of the very latter. He wanted information, though he would let Kira and Leon do the work of getting it out.
As he neared the point of which he could gain attention from the rest of the crowd as a result of his return, he nodded to the two girls that he had not introduced himself to and introduced himself saying, "I'm Jellar Feint, nice to meet you."
If they responded, Jellar would nod his head to the both of them. If not, Jellar would continue on, showing his knowledge of the direction of the conversation through his own words concerning the whole Stern Mason ordeal.
"So what about Stern Mason and pillars did I miss out on...?" Jellar asked, hoping to get on the same page as everyone else.

(OOC: ugh ... finally I managed to post >.< )
She found herself experciencing an odd smile at Kira's statements, then found herself grinning madly as Leon began a speech. Of course, his speeches, an obvious part of his leadership aura, was something she had grown fond of seeing.
She listened intently to Leon's words, including a particularly interesting quotation at the beginning, watching him shrugg off his jacket and leather gloves as he did so. It was true that he spoke with a definite degree of passion, though on some of the finer points she found herself disagreeing.
Of course Charlotte agreed the system did harm, but it was meant to be a deterrant from deliquent behavior rather than a punishement system, in her eyes, at least. The truth was, she supposed, that she was not really certain where she stood in terms of school politics. On the one hand, she ha grown accustomed to the corporal punishement system, and though recognising it's inherant faults, conculded that the good outweighed the cons. On the other hand, however, was Leon and his startling, admirable idealism; something she wasn't ashamed to look up to and be inspired by it.
The thoughts quickly were chased from her mind as she listened to Taru's less-than-impressive display of testonsterone and revenge fueled gruges. He spoke, mainly of revenge in short, intense bursts, topped off with a derisive frown. However, upon hearing that - especially compared to Leon's eloquence, though she hated to make the comparison - it was Charlotte's turn to frown.
"Why do you hate him so much?" she asked Taru suddenly, coldly, her eyes narrowing. Tiao had been really the first person she had ever befriended since coming to Hircine, and despite how many people seemed to hate him, she had never found anything in him that might trigger the same responses. Sure he was a little hotheaded at times, sure he was a pillar, but that did not neccessarily make him a bad guy.
Without having the chance to say more, she felt her gaze drift to another person approaching: someone she felt a vague recollection of, but assumed she must have saw him in the halls at school a few times.
"I'm Jellar Feint, nice to meet you."
"Charlotte," she offered to him, recieving in turn, a nod.
"So what about Stern Mason and pillars did I miss out on...?"
"Taru here was just offering up his opinion on Stern, and his steadfast belief in destroying the pillarship, or at least, one pillar in particular. Not to mention a few enlightening words and speeches here and there," she gave a glance to Kira and Leon in recognition before speaking again.
"I, personally, am quite openly against Stern Mason. Of course if you really wanted to ask me a few why's, how's and what's about all things concerning my views and plans about him, well ..." she grinned again, the sun and the afternoon still maintaining her new state of friendly happiness, "... that's not something I'll be sharing lightly."

[( Sorry, SORRY for not posting in such a long time, guys. ><; I'll do better. And to note, I don't have the book at hand, so no little snippets. )] Kira sighed again, though it was softer, less noticeable, and less frustrated. Leon intervened. Kira was all-too happy to let him carry on...and rant a bit. Silently, though, she opened her book and began to read from where she last left off, voicing the words silently in her head. While it made it seem as though she wasn't listening, she would more than likely have to re-read the portion of her book she'd just slowly flipped through - a whole two pages - and flicked her eyes over to Charlotte, who seemed to be enjoying Leon's rant a little too much. She raised an eyebrow at Taru as he vented on 'Tiao getting it' among other things, but Charlotte beat her to the question she wanted an answer to as well. "Why do you hate him so much?" Nodding as she straightened, waiting upon Taru's answer, her attention was drawn to the guy that came back ot the blanket. Patting the other open space at the corner, she smiled at him as he introduced himself. "I'm sorry for not introducing myself earlier, Jellar... My name's Kira Karyuudo." She made note to apologise, considering it was rude to not have said her name before, even if Leon had mentioned it when he questioned her whether or not Jellar could sit with them. "So what about Stern Mason and pillars did I miss out on...?"Charlotte was happy to supply him with the information, and Kira nodded at the end of it, offering a slightly sheepish smile at the look of recognition, even if she hadn't been the one delivering the speech. The fact that she was against Stern was surprising enough, having not met her before...and having her say she'd met him twice. Her sunny disposition was a bit unnerving, but Kira shoved the feeling away for now. Far as she knew, she'd not run into Charlotte a whole lot past this point. Closing her book with a small dog-ear on the page, she leaned upon a hand, watching as Jellar sat down. She stayed quiet a moment, just preferring to listen these last few minutes, rather than talk. Looking back on it, she noted that this little relaxing day could heat up. Charlotte's question to Taru sounded suspiciously as though she was offended that Taru held such a passionate hate for Tiao.

(OOC: Sorry about cutting order, but I thought I'd use this as a coming-back post)
Jellar sat quietly, waiting for everyone to talk. Little valuable information came from it. Merely opinions and the like. However, if they weren't going to tell him anything and no one was going to provoke information, then Jellar would have to do it himself. Talking to the group, not anyone in general, Jellar spoke.
"So what brings up the topic of Stern?"
It was a casual question, though not direct, it would get the job done. It was pretty much asking exactly what Stern had been doing lately to remind someone of him, and unless they were intent on keeping information from Jellar, they would probably divulge it, at least to Jellar's predictions. In any case, another objective lay in his mind concerning the pillars. In truth, he had little against them, as their job was with good intentions. He did not yet understand why they had so much hostility against them. His only clue was that of Varronite pride, if anything.
He sat up straight, posture well as he waited for any reply.
