Leon’s sudden raise to his feet was not unexpected, but it was still against Shuya’s hopes. Loire seemed to be more impatient then Shuya had guessed him to be and on top of that matter, Shuya had expected Leon to ask Shuya about anything that was troubling him, but instead he just walked out of the room. Shuya tried nothing to stop him but was simply hoping that Leon would keep on walking. He had indeed told them they could go if they wanted to, but some guests in the restaurant were persons from the same circuit as Shuya, willing to help him out with this… an eye for an eye they say. However, it seemed young Tyler came to the rescue before Loire had left and Shuya’s doubts about Leon’s capabilities as ‘Captain’ really started to crumble as the knight suddenly turned around again and walked back. Shuya was angered about Leon’s behavior to say the least and the time of being friendly without telling the full truth was over. But first, he would have Leon understand him better, with cold, harsh facts. As Leon sat back down, Shuya turned to face him and didn’t move his gaze away during his speech.
“Walking away, coming back… deciding to walk away again… Loire, you certainly do disappoint me. I thought you were the person that once was so eager on becoming the captain of Varron Academy, but it now appears you lack the capabilities. A captain has to make a decision and stand by it… if it was the wrong decision, he made a mistake, best to live with it and continue. You however show that you have troubles deciding… I sincerely hope I haven’t made a big mistake myself by inviting you here, since it’s your will to become and your capabilities to be school captain that were the reason I invited you here in the first place…”
“As for you leaving, it seems you have doubts about trusting me, something reasonable I’ll admit, yet I had hoped you’d be mature enough to ask me anything that would be on your mind, hence why I invited you here 30 minutes earlier. And now, you still leave me here guessing on what it is you do not trust… So let me guess… First of all, I’d say you hate to have someone else call the shots but you… someone else making the plans but you… but tell me Loire, did your planning work? I remember an saying, Sometimes you have to serve in order to lead. I’m not asking you to serve, but I’m asking you to put your pride aside if only for one minute and listen to things you know are facts. You know the Varron student body has to unify if they want to make a difference and you know I can help you guys with that!”
His eyes started to shoot fire as he spoke, his voice becoming slightly louder as he restrained his gaze on Leon. He wasn’t finished though, not in a long shot.
“Your second problem, Loire, is probably that you’re afraid I will stab you in the back once everything is over… Once we’ve accomplished what we set out to do in the first place… You think I meant that when I said we would probably fight each other one day? Well think again! Who broke Kyukaku’s ribs? Was it not Gavyns? Who fought Shinato the most, if not Maverik? Wasn’t it Musha who fought both Maverik and Shinato as well? Was it not you who so often almost got into a fight with any of these? And if rumors are true, was it not you who fought Musha on the rooftop where you fought Kvist as well? I hope you are getting my point Loire! Fighting seems to be in your nature and you’ve used it to fight your allies, so did other of your friends… they fought their own friends. Now, I ask you this, how do you want me, someone you consider to be an enemy, to promise you that I will not fight you while you and your friends weren’t even able to refrain yourselves from kicking each other’s asses! You tell me that Loire!”
His eyes were widened now, but his thoughts were working at full speed. Suddenly, his eyes flickered from Leon towards Kyukaku and he spoke again, yet this time it was with his soft, cold voice again.
“And thirdly… I believe it wasn’t you… it wasn’t Shinato… it wasn’t Gavyns… no it wasn’t any of your friends… but me who rescued Tyler when he was in prison innocently… I believe that should be enough reasons for you to at least hear me out and cast aside your pride and trust me on this, if only for a little…”
His tired eyes moved away from Kyukaku as he leaned back in his chair slightly, his nerves cooling down again. Drinking the last bits of his drink, he slowly shook his head. He knew it was now time to reveal at least the beginnings of his plans. There would be a lot of things everyone would want to ask and the last thing he wanted was confusing… He would simply drop forth the plan, explain some details and wait for them to respond, before he would start about everyone’s personal gains. But first, he needed a promise.
“Now everyone, I know this might be difficult for you guys, but before I continue I need you all to promise me this will never leave this room. You will all be asked to try and gain as many allies in this as possible, but there are certain people I do not want to get involved… First of all” he turned his face towards Pain, “I don’t want anyone related to Stern or Kvist get involved in this… I don’t know anything about Stern, hell I don’t even know whether the guy is around… but he keeps too many things questionable in trusting him… Secondly,” He now turned his face towards Leon and Kira, “I don’t want Maverik, or any not trustable sources in his Watchmen know about this either… And thirdly,” he now turned his face towards Kyukaku, “I would appreciate it if you took a seat as well…”
A wry smile appeared on his face as he gave Kyukaku a small wink. He wanted everyone however to sit around the table so he could be able to tell from their faces what they thought of the plan, bold as it might be. He knew they would all be questionable about it, but first reactions would also give away if they truly believed in it. Pain Killer would be the most difficult to persuade in actually aiding them, since it appeared he wasn’t all for being a pillar… but luckily Shuya knew that his ace card could help him out… it always pays off to dig in someone’s past and family situation…
“We’re going to take down the entire current situation at the school.” Shuya suddenly said bluntly. “I’ve been checking out some things and it seems they haven’t changed a goddamn thing since I last came here. I was treated as outcast back then for standing up for myself and now, the same happens with the Varron student body. I had to choose who to side with, and after a little conversation with Shen it became clear to me. So hence this meeting. We all have fought tough opponents in one way or another, except for Karyuudo, hence why she will get no fighting task. I know she can handle a broom pretty good, but I doubt she would do much good against a pillar and that’s not being rude, simply stating facts. Now, even if Rydell had succeeded in taking down Blayne, he wouldn’t have gotten far. The other pillars would’ve taken him down and claimed control again, perhaps putting Blayne on a sidetrack as pillar. Blayne is a strong fighter, but Tiao evens him in skill and Kurtz isn’t stupid enough to fight fair, he has his tricks. Alone you can’t make this… Hence why we’ll make sure that every single obstacle gets dealt with at the same time… the captain and every pillar… and any resistance we get from Hircine students will simply be battered down by our stronger and more skilled Varron students… Eventually it should settle down and things can finally be changed… All I ask is your cooperation… any questions thus far?”

Leon Loire soon found himself under fire yet again, this time in a singular, focused sequence of Shuya's points and arguments. The "host" Katsumoto seemed intent on releasing his own frustrations toward Leon in a fashion that belittled or broke him, claiming Loire a hypocrite toward becoming a Captain, actually having the nerve to attack Leon's distrust of him, making reference to the various battles that occurred between Leon and his many friends, and finally the worst strike: that Shuya Katsumoto himself was the sole reason that Kyukaku escaped jail.
Before that final claim was made, Loire held a gaze of boiling fury toward the man that attempted to demean everything he was. He tried to claim him a "disappointment," he tried to claim he deserved trust because he helped one friend - regardless of the fact that he helped drastically harm another - and finally claimed that since Leon and his own friends fought, that there was no real difference between such a battle between Loire and Gavyns or Loire and Katsumoto. Leon felt his grip tightening against the arms of the chair he sat upon, and a part of him began to regret coming back to the table.
'I don't need him, I don't trust him, and I am certainly in no mood to be called an egotistical control freak! What's so valuable that could be gained from this meeting? Really, if it's a suggestion for some sort of assassination or beating of a Pillar, then this son of a bitch can forget it!'
Still, while Leon felt his tendencies severely desiring a dire lash back against Shuya's statements against him, he had to admit that it would only lead to more argument and, in the end, only making himself seem stubborn and exactly what Shuya attempted to paint him. At the same time, Leon found himself completely uncertain of the situation Katsumoto related to regarding Tyler's arrest. Simply because of that fact of ignorance, Leon knew he could not yet strike at Shuya's claims without opening himself to foolishness, and in a critical point, such an opening could destroy him - considering Leon would not dare trust Katsumoto any more than he could throw him.
So, through a rather frustrating force of will, Leon turned his gaze away from his verbal attacker and kept his eyes set to the table before him, listening lightly as Katsumoto requested a promise from them all to keep their lips zipped over the subjects of the meeting. Leon stayed hesitant for a moment, not because he wished to tell others, but because of a small bit of rebellion still lingering. After the others replied, however, Leon quickly followed through, "Not a word."
The following statement, therefore, was rather interesting, and something that caught Leon Loire off: Shuya Katsumoto actually wished to help Leon defeat the Pillar System, and not just Blayne, but all of his Pillars as well. It seemed the four males that were collected at the meeting were destined to fight each of the various Pillars, intent on dethroning the entire school Hierarchy in one single strike. It was indeed their only chance, especially if the entire Varronite population stood behind them.
'So Katsumoto only wants this to bring change... he doesn't care who leads the school after, as long as everyone has a chance to be their own person, and that's something a Varronite-led Hierarchy would bring. It's interesting... very interesting.'
Leon had to admit, he was certain one of his more reliable allies such as Kokaku Musha could have come up with a similar plan and accomplished it with the use of the various Varronite fighters, but then again, the problem there was simple: the possibility of trust. There were so many various factions in the Varron population, and just about anyone could give a slip to the Pillars. With Katsumoto heading the charge, perhaps they stood a chance of actually keeping things quiet.
There was still the question of Kvist and Trent Rydell. While it would be a great thing to rid the school of tyranny, Leon sensed that a young, weak new Hierarchy was exactly what that masked monster needed to gain what he needed for power, and with Trent supporting him, it'd only make things worse. And then there was still the possibility of people rising up to cause chaos and anarchy, as Stern Mason had attempted in Varron Academy.
Still, Katsumoto received definite leverage for being the first to actually release the idea of a complete strike. However, the thought of a question seemed rather universal: who would fight who? When would they strike? How would they gain support? These things weren't exactly something Leon felt the need to question Shuya for, and a bit of him wished to continue basking in silence.
Therefore, Leon decided it was better to stay silent, stare at the table, and allow the other three at the meeting to make their questions. For now, Leon would play the quiet thinker - because in the end, he'd definitely be having a word with Katsumoto's claims against him, they'd just wait until after the meeting.

OOC: I already know this is gonna be short. Sorry in advance. IC: Shaking his head slightly, Adam brought himself out of his daze, focussing on the words being spoken by those around him. Both Leon and the girl seemed anxious to get things moving along, and Adam couldn't disagree; waiting any longer was simply stalling, for no other purpose then to build anxiety. For the first time, he noticed the last person to join the meeting, the realization making him roll his eyes in annoyance. It just had to be the kid. Of all damn people... Just looking at Kyukaku was beginning to make him upset, as his memory of Tyler and Mya dancing together was still strong, and so he focussed his attention on Shuya, listening until the man was done before giving his own input. "Fine. No Stern in this one, but I expect you to live up to what you know I want. But I'm wondering, is this just a first-come first-serve kinda thing? Or do you actually have an idea as to who fights what Pillar?" Adam much preferred the second option, as it would mean Shuya had scouted out his opponents and formed this alliance specifically to deal with them. Then again, it'd almost be too easy, but for once, Pain Killer wasn't concerned with his own glory in this fight. The smoother this battle went, and the quicker it was over, the sooner Adam would find Mya. Leaning forward on his elbows, Adam kept his eyes on Shuya, as he was the one with the answers at the moment. "I don't care what I do. If there's a fight coming up, I'd like to get to it soon as we're ready." And find you...

[( x___X My post isn't going to be that much longer... Forgive meeeeee... )]
Sitting in silence, Kira listened as Shuya proceeded to rip Leon to shreds with words. Now, she couldn't say she wasn't angry with him for that, but he more than likely had a point to put across to her friend...
'Promise to not share this information with anyone..?' At that, Kira tilted her head before raising her hands in a shrug-like gesture before nodding. "Fair enough..."
And yet she found she wasn't addressed in any of what he said, aside from a slight reference to her fighting skills. 'Or lack thereof...' She thought with a cringe. Still...it left her curious as to what she had to do, what she had to gain, and, as always, the price she would have to pay.
She let Shuya answer Pain Killer before holding off a moment longer, finally sighing.
"Shuya... I have to wonder what it is I'm doing here. As you've made note of, I can't fight. And I'm wondering, more pointedly, just what it is I have to do in this plot of yours. of course, that leads to what I have to gain from this... And, of course, because I'm sure this doesn't come without a price... What do I have to give?" She was direct and to the point, there was no use in dragging out her questions longer than needed. It was a waste of time all around otherwise.
She didn't look at the three others, but merely kept her gaze upon Shuya. He was the only one who could answer her questions at this point, and as such, was the one who had her complete attention at the moment.

Shuya's distaste with Leon became quite apparent within the tone of his words as he continued to verbally assault Leon. It was something Kyukaku kept himself out of. He was known to stick up for Leon on more than one occasion, but even if he had the slightest clue to what had occured here before he arrived Kyukaku simply felt too awkward to get inbetween two people who helped him a great deal in one way or another, even if they were on opposite sides of the spectrum.
Kyukaku moved his eyes to the ground, remembering the feeling he had when Dain had kicked his ribs in. The pain was quite apparent, that was for sure, but that wasn't the most painful part of the experience. Kyu was drugged, confused and ignorant to the scene he fell upon. Coming out of his haze, Kyu's spirits had been lifted when a familiar face entered the room, the one of Dain Gavyns. It was then any relief faded as the anger surfaced on his friends face, boiling out into strikes that had injured him. His bones were broken, but not nearly as shattered as his confidence in those around him were. Then, it had felt as if everyone would screw him over in one way or another. In all honesty, that feeling had never fully left him. Perhaps it never would.
Kyu's gaze snapped back up to the present, as Shuya had finally brought out into the open his involvement in Kyu's release. Kyu had always thought he would feel more relieved when Leon and the others would find this out, but frankly, Kyu didn't feel relieved in the slightest. He shot his gaze to Leon, who merely stared at the table, perhaps dumbfounded for the first time in his life.
At Shuya's request, Kyukaku gave him a small nod and placed himself in the final seat at the table. He listened to Shuya speak, verbalizing thoughts Kyu had from time to time about replacing the pillarship with their own. Kyu remained quiet, letting the others ask their questions and receive their answers before finally speaking up as well in a soft, but direct voice.
"Yeah, I have one." he started, pushing his elbows off the table as he sat up and looked Shuya in the eye. "Besides the obvious questions on the specifics of what you suggest, there's one in correspondence to Kira's question. Why, exactly, am I here?" Kyu paused, allowing himself to come up with a better explanation for his question.
"I owe you, I know that. But given the others in this room who definately don't owe you a single thing, I'm given the impression that it wasn't your basis for choosing any of us, it wasn't your basis for choosing me. You explained the what and why's for Kira, the experience with Blayne that Adam has in addition to his tenacity, and Leon obviously for his figurehead status. I know you never make decisions randomly or just because. So I ask you again Shuya, why am I here?"

Shuya’s gaze was locked on Leon for several seconds after he had finished speaking. He knew the young knight would probably be filled with anger, frustration yet also with wonders and questions. However, as Leon remained silent, Shuya figured Leon’s question would be asked later, perhaps not where all of the others would be. Adam however took the opportunity to fire his question towards Shuya and Shuya was not going to give any more vague answers. The time of him playing his games was over for now and if he wanted this fellowship to actually have faith in one another, he would have to be somewhat open towards every player.
“I don’t do first-come first-serve, Rydell. Those who are usually first when there’s a fight are also the ones who can go to the infirmary first. Ein’s retreating from the field of battle was an unexpected move and the amount of pillars we need to take down is reduced by one. Simple put, I want Loire to take down Blayne when the time comes, Scott to take down Kurtz and myself to take down Shen. However, I know that not all of us might succeed, but this plan will have to be brought to a right. You will not only be there to take out anyone who gets between us and our targets, you will immediately take the place of one of us, may he fail. I believe you own a car, is that correct Rydell?”
Turning his gaze towards the other members of their group, his eyes now stopped at Kira as she spoke to him after he was finished talking to Adam. It was more then natural for the young woman to ask about what she was supposed to do, Shuya hadn’t spoken about it ever since this meeting started. He had to make sure he didn’t give away too much of his own personal matters in this, but Kira had to know the basic plan for her…
“You, miss Karyuudo, will be there to keep Maverik busy while we are at it. Maverik has decided his allegiance is not with the Varron students, nor with the Hircine ones, he simply wants there to be peace in the hallways. However, if someone openly takes on the pillars, he will take them on, even if it’s his friends… We cannot afford to have Maverik out there while we take on the pillars. If you however seem to fail at keeping him at bay, you will immediately contact Rydell. Rydell, he will be yours if that happens… I know you guys are good friends with Maverik, hence I want Karyuudo to distract him… that way we can do our things and he won’t have to get hurt. Now, what I want you to do Karyuudo, is question Maverik about a man named Shamino Warhen. Find out about him as much as possible. What will you receive in return? Heh, that was the most difficult thing to figure out actually… Well, our plans will go through one way or another, and you distracting Maverik will first of all ensure both his and your safety. You will help in getting Loire to where he wants to be and I will take out Shen. However, if there is anything more you wish to gain from this, I am all ear…”
His words had been kind and soft in the end, no thread or cockiness in them whatsoever. He just stated it as it was, if Kira wished for something, Shuya could most probably provide it. However, it was now Tyler who spoke to him, questioning him about his motives of choosing him. Shuya laughed slightly however as he shook his head.
“Tyler… Tyler… I thought you of all people would've figured that out already. I choose people both on their ability to do the job as the insurance of them actually co-operating, since they would all get better from it. The same goes for you. First of all, you indeed owe me one, but that’s not the reason why I choose you. You became second, only by a little, in a tournament held by Kurtz, isn’t that correct? You’ve shown you’ve got skills in battle. You are able of taking down Kurtz. Now, why would you want to take down Kurtz, while Leon takes down Blayne…oh? You see the picture now? If you take down Kurtz and aid the Varron students in this battle, your name will be purified in one big slam. Suspicions about you will disappear and people will want to look at you as their savior, rather then anything else…”
Shuya dropped silent again and looked at every individual in the room, before he continued again.
“Any more questions or do you guys think all of this is more then enough for one evening?”

[( Unless we'd rather have me with a two-paragraph post, I'll have Kira leave when everyone else does...in this post. )]
Kira nodded slowly at Shuya's reply. He'd been to the point and quick about it, but managed to not sound curt. 'Kudos to him...'Even so, his answer did raise another question...one of fair importance, at that. So Kira waited until he asked a question she had the answer to.
"Do you happen to have any messenger boys or girls, Shuya? How else am I going to know whether that specific fight just happens to be going on if it's at the other end of the school? Chances are that it won't be by my class when they start... They'll need to be there quickly, as well, I'm sure you know. They'll need to know where Maverik is, and hopefully they'll show up before word of it reaches him. Besides, I, unlike some others, prefer to get this year out of the way so I can move on...as I was supposed to last year. I won't be out meandering the halls during class time..." There. She'd given her question, and base reasoning for it. "Otherwise, I think I'm good to head out."
She waited until she had her answer, and even a few minutes more, just in case there was something else needing to be said, before getting up and adjusting her jacket. Everyone else had the same thing in mind, apparently, so she shrugged. Turning, she left the room, walking at an easy pace. Truth be told, she was walking slower so she might be able to talk with Leon, if he wasn't rushing off anywhere. If he was, well, it was fine. Either way, it wouldn't be as long a walk as she thought... It had been ten minutes by taxi, but that was including all the traffic and lights.

'But why... why all of this... why you of all people...'
As Leon heard the questions and answers pass over his head, the mind itself of the supposed Captain-to-be found itself confused, uncertain. Katsumoto was helping him defeat the Pillars for the reason of bringing change - that much was certain - but what was there to gain for specifically choosing Leon and his allies? Yes, defeating the Pillars may be out of reach from the Hand of Fate, but what of another Hircinian group? A group of rebels that Shuya could trust? Was that possible?
Perhaps Leon was thinking too much of the situation. After all, in truth, he and his Varronite allies were the only real opposition available to combat the Pillar System at the current moment. So, regardless of his relationship with Shuya, the man was attempting to push his own agendas aside, his own pride, to gain from this situation.
It seemed, as much as Leon hated admitting it, he could not ignore Shuya's choice. He didn't trust Katsumoto, he did not need Katsumoto, but he could certainly use the enemy's help against another foe.
There were no questions that Leon intended for the others to hear, and while he made a mental note to speak with Tyler regarding this whole situation with Shuya later, he knew there were a few words he had to tell the "ring leader" before taking his own departure from the meeting.
The first volley of questions were said and answered effectively, solving a few problems Leon's mind had come across as well. Kira then continued with more specifics, and eventually this issue was resolved as well. Leon paid no heed to any other questions were asked after that, as his contemplation aimed towards measuring the effectiveness of his next words toward Katsumoto.
Quickly, Leon's senses detected that Kira Karyuudo was standing up from her seat and preparing to leave, along with the movement of the other guests. A pang of fear rose up in Leon's emotional conscious, dread over the possibility of Kira Karyuudo noticing Leon's hasty departure.
'I'd deserve her to be angry with me, but even still, I hope she can forgive my weakness...'
Still, once the other three were gone, Leon turned his gaze to the shadowy host. Standing up slowly and grabbing his own jacket, Leon began to turn towards the door, and then abruptly stopped.
"I still remember... watching as he threw her over the building..." Leon whispered, acting as if it were to himself, but meaning for every word to strike the ears of his intended listener, "She was broken, body and even spirit for a time, and all it was meant to gain was my undying attention toward... him. And you know what? You were a part of that."
Leon stood silent for a moment, partly expecting a reaction of some sort, be it another insult or even apology. Leon ignored whatever came, and slowly turned on his heel, his navy eyes fixed upon Katsumoto's eyes. No shade of violet anger lay there; no glare was built. It was simply a gaze of absolute reply - the man had to know why.
"If you think I can trust you after giving support to Kvist, then you've guessed wrong. You intended to bring harm to her -" Leon quickly nodded towards the hallway, "To bring harm to me, and then made things worse by helping capture me to lead towards my death. You're insane to even hope for my trust of you, even if you hope to help me gain a title. She means much to me, and that title is not the absolute answer to bringing change into this society. Her health is more important and you risked it. Remember that, and remember that I will never trust an enemy - and you happen to be one."
Leon turned towards the door again, not intent on allowing Shuya the satisfaction of lashing back; he had been given his opportunity to seem stronger. Now it was the turn of Loire. Leon kept his head pivoted towards his listener, his eyes sharpening a small bit.
"If you doubt my skills as a Captain, then go find someone else Katsumoto. I have no idea why you'd choose me if you intend to destroy me soon thereafter, but no matter, I do not question a given advantage. Remember, an advantage, not a necessity. That is all you are to me. If and when it came time to overthrow Blayne, it would have been just as simple as asking for various Varronites to help my cause; you're just another set of fist and foot giving support to that. If you choose to turn away, then there will be no change in the events to come. You're just another living being on the ride to Progress. Just remember to keep track of your place in this plan you have, and I'll be happy to leave you as its ring leader. Otherwise, forget it ever occurred."
Finally, turning away at last and making his path towards the door, Leon kept his eyesight away, before feeling a whisper pass over his lips, "You'll not have the chance to kill me monster - that is left to Domnovic. Now goodnight, I expect we'll meet again soon."
Passing through the arch and leaving the shadows of the back halls, Leon passed Rydell to lightly nudge Kyukaku's shoulders, quickly murmuring him to continue the path toward the lead departer, Kira Karyuudo, "We need to talk. Wait for me outside, if you can."
Slightly fastening his step and reaching Karyuudo's side, Leon felt himself staring forward for a moment, before looking to the girl a second later. He felt the need to say something, but what? What was there to say? To do?
Leon felt his shoulders drop for a moment, and he turned his sight away. A bit of shame passed over him, and in truth, he wasn't sure if there really was anything he could push himself to whisper. His mind was filled with memories now... dark memories... of a girl hanging for her life.
And how he had failed to save her.

"Sure. I'll smack around whoever."
With a small shrug, Adam looked away from Shuya, knowing full well what role he was to play in the upcoming battle. It didn't matter who it was, as Adam hadn't met any of the Pillars, and didn't particularly know the Student Dean either. The only one he had a preference to fighting was Darren, and that was simply to finish what he'd started not that long ago.
As both Leon and Kira stood up to leave, Adam slowly pulled out a pen from his pocket, left over from classes earlier, then scribbled his cell phone number on a napkin. He slid the napkin towards Shuya, the number coming to a stop a fair distance away from him, though much closer than Adam was sitting. The idea was simple; either Shuya would use it to contact him when the time came, or he'd give it to Kira, to call for when someone failed and Pain Killer would have to clean up the mess.
"I guess we're done. Gimme a ring when we're doin' this, I'll bring my car."
The car which had a sledgehammer in its trunk. Of course, that was only meant as a last resort, a failsafe in case he ran into four or five obstacles to the plan that he couldn't quite beat on his own. Pain Killer certainly was not above using a weapon to get the job done, especially if he had an opportunity to find Mya.
Sighing, Adam stood up, and provided he wasn't required to stay, made his way out of the restaurant, not bothering to talk the others who had gathered. After all, they were merely working together out of convenience, and there was no reason to become all chummy with those he'd probably wind up fighting against another day.

As Shuya explained each of their assignments, Kyukaku nodded his head, understanding his as it was simple enough.
So I'm supposed to take on Kurtz...he's the gambler one right? I haven't seen him fight, hell, I haven't even heard of him having a fight. That either means he's not much of a fighter and brings other talents to the table, or it means he could very well be the most dangerous of all of them.
Kyukaku's question was now being answered by Shuya. He slumped in his chair, bringing his head to rest atop his hands as he placed his elbows back on the table. He slowly brought his eyes back up to Shuya, rubbing his chin slowly with his thumbs.
"The halting of the rumors would be nice, but more importantly we'd break whatever hold the pillars have over their students. We'll be able to show them that students can still be safe, without being scared. So sure, I'll give it a shot." Kyu said, giving Shuya a brief smirk before sitting back.
Soon, everyone began to stand, making their exits. Kyu looked to each person in the room, watching as they left one by one, Leon leaving him a small message to which he nodded in response. Kyu got up, pushing in his chair before asking Shuya one final question.
"I guess it didn't seem as important to everyone else, but when is this going to go down?"
Once he had gotten his answer in one form or another, Kyu would nod and leave Leon and Shuya in the room, proceding outside where Leon had asked him to wait.

“Don’t worry” he began, responding to what Kira had asked him. “I’ll be able to contact you guys, there’s no problem with that. Besides, did you truly think we are the only ones involved in this? We are merely the key figures… I thought it wouldn’t make too much sense if I invited everyone who is with us already tonight, since that would require the space of the entire restaurant… Besides, I didn’t ask you to wonder around the hallways anyway… no… it would be much better if most of us just tried to continue their day to day routines…”
Shuya went silent after that as his eyes started to wander about a little, waiting for any of the other members of their meeting to make a comment. It was Adam who broke the short silence by writing down his number on a piece of paper and pass it towards Shuya. Shuya would’ve been able to get his phone number anyway, but he took the piece of paper none the less. It would be a sign from him to confirm Adam’s part in this and at the same time, ensure Adam wouldn’t do anything stupid. Shuya simply nodded as Adam asked him to give him a ring when the time for this thing to start was there.
After Adam had gotten to his feet, Kyukaku finally spoke up, talking about how he was in this. Shuya simply returned the smile and waited for Kyukaku to leave the room as well. He knew damn well why Leon hadn’t spoken yet and why he had remained seated. Shuya knew Leon was about to give him some sort of speech about distrust and what not and the man would let Loire do this. However, Kyukaku fired one final question at him, before Shuya would be entertained by Leon’s kind words.
“In fact it’s of great importance… but I guess we all know that timing is crucial in this… I’m not going to give you a date, simply because I don’t have one. All I know is that now isn’t the time… I’ve heard rumors of some of your old friends returning and we have a lot of recruiting to do before we start this… Don’t worry Tyler, I’ll speak to you soon…”
His tired eyes finally turned towards Leon and waited for the volcano to finally erupt. And it did… Leon intended not to let Shuya speak, but Shuya wouldn’t allow him to simply walk out on him like this. After Leon had spoken of Shuya wanted to kill him, Shuya slammed his fists onto the table and rose to his feet himself, swift and fast. The sudden movements of Shuya would most definitely lead to Leon staying, perhaps even taking a defending stance. It was obvious he didn’t trust Shuya and even if he didn’t want to hear what the man had to say, he couldn’t turn his back to someone he thought was an enemy. Though Leon would perhaps think Shuya would start to scream, he would be wrong. Shuya walked over towards Leon as he spoke to him with a calm voice.
“I know you don’t want to hear this now, but I don’t give a shit frankly. You might not believe me now, but I think more of you then just someone who thinks for the moment and leaves it at that. I will give you something to think on later and I certainly do hope that you will finally understand. First of all, yes, I was indeed part of what happened to Kira. I do not regret what I did but I will be the first to say it was a great mistake. However, if both Karyuudo and Akimoto can understand and perhaps even forgive me for what I have done… why can’t you?”
He made another step towards Leon as his eyes now turned stern and serious again, yet not intended to intimidate in any way whatsoever.
“Secondly, I never supported Kvist, I simply thought he would be the best way at getting to people like you. However, it seemed that the man was more of a beast then I had imagined him to be… another grave mistake, but at least one I can make up… by distancing myself from him and turning towards your guys aid. Thirdly, I never helped at capturing you at all. I simply took a job as security member and it so happened to be you who I was supposed to secure… It made good money and improved my relation with people who could help me out later… and others…”
Leon would probably not understand the remark about the others, but Shuya was of course talking about Kyukaku’s release. It mattered not too much at the moment, all that mattered was that Leon would understand enough about Shuya for him to at least reconsider his fast and blurry judgment.
“And finally, I could’ve indeed asked someone else as a captain, Loire… Just like I am to you, you are an advantage to me… not a necessity. However, I do think you would be the best choice in the end. And don’t speak about unifying the students with a snap of your fingers, we’ve all seen what happens when you do that… We get a congested hallway.”
Shuya did not know what Leon would do now that Shuya stood right in front of him. There was one final thing Shuya wanted to say and he would make sure Leon would hear it. If the proud knight would walk out on him, Shuya would simply grab him by the jacket, even if that would mean Loire would immediately slam at him. He would take the blow, but wouldn’t release his grab.
“But one thing… I thought you were the one who wanted to kill Kvist… You didn’t speak one word about him during the meeting while we both know he would be a threat to this plan… I might not be close with you or whatever, but I know you good enough to know that you would never agree on this plan if you didn’t already had some idea on how to deal with Kvist… and you know what… if you do have a plan… Don’t hesitate in asking me to aid you guys in taking him down… Perhaps that would finally make you realize that I don’t give one bloody dime about that beehive thrower…”
Shuya let go of Leon and turned around once more, walking back towards his seating. He didn’t know nor care what Leon would do, he had given him enough to think about if he wished it so. He picked up his empty glass and moved out himself, towards the bar in the restaurant. Once there, he placed his glass on top of it and ordered another. Smiling towards the man behind the bar, Shuya spoke to him friendly.
“Thanks for letting me use that room… I hope you did remember to put off any cameras and microphones and what not… Did you?”
He frowned slightly…

[( Sorry for the LONG delay, you guys... This should be my last post, unless Mr. Loire here decides to give me something I can't help but respond to. )] Her slow pace worked well enough, Leon able to catch up with her just at the doorway, despite the lengthy words that were exchanged between the two. It was, of course, the very reason she had been walking so slow - not at a turtle's pace, or with any exaggerated slowness, but slow enough. She could feel the tension and something else radiating off of him, and felt he wouldn't say anything unless she said something first. As it stood, her interpretations were spot-on, and she gently nudged her friend with an elbow as the stepped down a few stairs outside of the restaurant, turning to walk down the block. "I can tell all of that bothered you, Leon... I could tell when you stood up to leave the first time, before your friend came..." And held up a hand lightly to keep him quiet. "And I'm guessing that it's weighing on you now, but don't worry about it. You did come back, so you're fine. But, my advice right now is to kick back for the rest of the night..." Turning her head to look at him with a faint grin, she nudged him again, this time enough to bump him to the side a step or two, perhaps. "Walk back to the dorms and think over what was said tonight, and then kick back and don't think of it again. Do something for a few hours before you head to sleep, and then you'll be able to look at what happened tonight with clearer eyes. And I think I'll be following my own advice on that." She quipped at the end, readying herself for the counterattack that was sure to come if he was feeling any better. And still, when they reached the end of the block, waiting for the light to change, she poked him lightly on the shoulder. Tilting her head, she nudged him again with a faint smirk. "Lighten up, Leon, at least for a few hours." Turning her eyes back, she looked at the restaurant where just a few minutes before, they were... And saw Kyukaku waiting. Turning her eyes back to Leon, she shrugged. "I'm guessing he's waiting for you? Go on, then, Leon." She ushered him away teasingly, sticking out her tongue a moment before lightly patting his shoulder, not really knowing what else to do. With a mock frown on her face, she said one last thing to him, before breaking out into a light smile at the end. "Take my advice, ya hear? I'll see you at some point tomorrow at school, Leon..." The lights changed, and she stayed a few moments as he turned to go back, watching him take the first few steps before turning herself to cross the street, heading back towards the dorm apartments.
