He was sitting in the library, his head buried behind a meaningless book as he looked around, searching for any souls around him. His golden hair fell upon his blue eyes as his white cloak remained dead in this windless room. All was quiet within the library, silence filling everything; from the cracks between books to door slightly open, nothing stirred within the room. In the distance, the Librarian began a slow march to the backroom of the library, probably gone to organize some books or something. The Librarian shot Auroth a dirty look, as though telling him to get out so that she may close down, before she left. Auroth, meanwhile, leaned back in his chair as his eyes gazed over to the clock. His hands rested upon his lap as his hair brushed up against the window he was sitting in front of....
School had ended about an hour ago.
He did not know why he was still here. Since the end of the last period, Auroth decided to just come to the library. It was an impulse rather then a plan. The Librarian, Auroth could tell, was a bit annoyed that a student was here.... but the library still has a half an hour or so before it closes.
Regardless, all the man did was set down his book as he placed his head down on the table, his eyes wide open as he began to think. Suddenly, a wound from one of his nights acted up, resulting in the Angel's face to twist and distort. As the agony receded, all Auroth could do was think. For a while now, he was acting as God's avenger, hitting to streets to take out sinners and shit like that.... But the more and more he did this, the more he began to question himself. Sure, tonight he took out a trio of muggers.... but what was the point? Sure, he saved a man's money.... But in the end, does any of it really matter. He felt as though his mind was slipping, going deeper and deeper into madness.... Becoming nothing more but a monster that lurked in the dark alleys of the city.... Be it San Francisco or Varron...
"What is the point of all this?" Auroth whispered to himself. "What is the point of any of this? Why am I here? Why am I hurting and beating all of these people? Is it for god? Is it really for god? Or am I just trying to make sense of my universe?"
He looked up, as he realized that by the end of his little speech he was yelling. Putting down his head again, the man closed his head. Thoughts swirled around his head, as his inner conflicts and insecurities began to come out. The silence of the library gave the man time to take a good look at himself...and he did not like what he saw.
"Why... Why.... Why am I doing this.... Why am I choosing to go out into the streets to beat punks half to death... Why am I doing anything in fact? Is there any meaning to Anything?! Is there any point to all of this!"
Suddenly the man felt anger rage into his system, as he soon got up, causing his chair to fly back to the wall, creating a loud bang...
"WHY DO WHAT I DO! WHY DO ANYTHING! WHY DO WE EVEN EXIST! WHY! WHY! WHY!!!!"
Silence then.... As Auroth's screams began to fade, nothing stirred within the library. The Librarian probably left out to get a snack or something, leaving the man alone. Auroth, meanwhile, was huffing and puffing. He didn't know what compelled him to yell, only that it made him feel slightly better.

Reiye had been in the library all along, ever since the bell, signalling for the end of the school day, rang. Now why did she stay here and not go home? She wasn't really sure. Maybe she just doesn't really feel like staying there. She can't say she really wants to see her family, well her brother at least. And that's not even the main point, since she'll eventually see him either way. It's more of the fact that she depises the atmosphere in that house. Most probably thinks that she enjoys the silence in that apartment of hers, and she has to admit she does like it at often times; however, it just gets slightly ... depressing. It makes her relive what happened to her several years ago. The memories still haunt her. If only she was never close with her older sister, then she wouldn't be like this, but of course, this is all just an excuse. She knew that much.
At any rate, the pink-haired teenager sighed quietly as she could hear the librarian exit the library. For what reason? She has no idea, neither did she care to know. She thought the library is empty now thta she has left. Well, she remembers seom male student in here as well, when she had walked in earlier. He was here before her, though she didn't pay him much attention. She just noticed him due to his ... unique appearance. She had casually walked past him at that time, and just proceeded towards the back of the library where shelves and shelves of books are located, and she herself stayed hidden at the back corner. Alone. She had sat down on the roughly carpeted floor and leaned against one of the shelves gently. She hadn't picked a book to read since then though. She just sat there with her eyes slightly closed.
Now, her had realized that her assumption of the library being empty is wrong. She had heard nothing after all the other students left until now: a scream. Screams of a male individual. Not to mention crazed ones. Her eyes quickly snapped open, and her face turned towards the direction of where the noise had come from almost automatically. She heard what the individual screamed clearly. Very clearly.
Guess the library isn't usually as quiet as I thought it'd be ... she thought, somewhat curious yet annoyed at the same time.
Letting a sigh escape her lips, she stood up slowly, using her hands to push her body up. Starting towards where the scream had come from rather slowly, her footsteps baring loud enough to be heard, she emerged from her hidden spot. Now stopping beside another shelf, where it can be seen in the open unlike the one she was leaning against before, she glanced around, finally spotting the single student who is now huffing and puffing heavily. Reiye recognized him; he was the student she noticed before. She took a good look at him, almost studying him before she came to a shaky conclusion: he's not exactly 'stable' at the moment. "Not like the school's exactly stable at the moment though, with all the Varron transfers." she said to herself quietly, a mere whisper that no one else would hear. She doesn't really know much about the Varron transfers, since she herself is rather new to this school. Due to that fact right there, Reiye can't say that she cares much about this sudden large transfer of students to Hircine. But, she did hear some things about them, not a lot of good things as well, she might add. That doesn't bother her at all though. She was rather interested.
Shaking her head mentally, the girl stayed in her position, though her arms slowly crossed themselves loosely. Her gaze stayed on the student, though not coldly or questioningly. It was a simple, plain, and emotionless stare, as if she was staring right through him.

Auroth quieted down, his sorrow nearly gone as he tried to catch his breath. He was surprised that the Librarian hadn't heard him, or that she hasn't returned yet. Slowly turning to stare out at the window, he felt his hands shaking as he began to lean forward, resting his hands on top of a a small bar behind the window. The clouds in the sky moved so effortlessly, drifting away in a sea of azure as the sun began it's slow descent over the horizon. Yet Auroth did not feel at ease; He was still despairing over his life. There was no point to it at all, no real reason to exist. Yet here he was going on, question his motives for doing so. Was he afraid of death? No, he shed that fear a long time ago. But yet, was there any purpose to existence at all? Slowly he feared he would lose himself to Nihilism, becoming nothing more but a monster who exists purely for no reason.... And in doing so, imagine all the destruction that would occur.
Breaking out of thought, he realize he was squeezing the bars too hard, causing it to bend as he felt his own hands become bruised. While normally, Auroth would've just let it go and continue to think, he instead felt the urge to just break the bar.... To which he did do with a loud "Rip". Slowly a grin appeared upon his face as he looked at the broken metal bar, happy over it's destruction, but for what reason he did not know why...
"Maybe..." He said to himself, just loud enough for a certain eavesdropper to hear "Maybe, I destroy things to justify my existence. Maybe, I destroy because it gives me purpose to live..... Maybe, I am a monster because by being a monster, I'm something.... As oppose to being nothing..."
With that, he turned around.... Only to see a pink haired girl before him. She was looking at the man, her cold, nearly dead eyes gazing right into his soul. As he felt her void entering his own, anger developed in him. This emotionless look she gave him just reacted with his own Nihilism, causing him to tremble in a sort of anger. Quickly he moved toward the girl, as if to strike her before his self-control took effort and he stopped mid-flight, and was now right up in her face. Caught off guard by his sudden action, the man merely nodded to her least threateningly as he could.
"Hello there, I'm Auroth" The Angel said....

Reiye watched him carefully as his back was facing her, though she can still see his hands gripping the bar. Somewhat too tightly too, she should say. She raised a slight brow at the sight before the bar finally snapped. So that's why Hircine students don't like the new transfers that much. she thought sarcastically. Her thoughts were soon interrupted when she heard the male student's voice. It was barely loud enough for her to hear, but loud enough nonetheless. What he said actually got her quite intrigued.
This guy's philosophical. Great ... Another sarcastic comment popped up in her brain. Well, she likes philosophy, but she just didn't take it this year. She did take it last year in her old school though.
At any rate, the female watched closely as he turned around, finally seeing his face, clearly at least, for the first time. Yes she has seen him before, but never clearly. The male quickly headed in her direction, as if to strike her, and of course, her instincts told her to stop being so comfortable at her spot. Her arms quickly loosened and untangled themselves so that they drop back to their respective positions wiht one arm at each of her sides. She would almost take a step back when he stopped in front of her. Right in front of her. He gave her a nod, though she has mixed feelings about that. And finally, he introduced himself.
Auroth ... She repeated the name in her mind.
She said nothing for a short moment before she introduced herself in a somewhat calm tone of voice. "Reiye. Reiye Yoruhana." she stated simply. She didn't bother with a "hello" back, for she can see this isn't exactly the atmosphere to casually say "hello". In her case anyway. The pink-haired girl kept her gaze on Auroth now, almost studying his facial features yet it wasn't obvious she was doing so, especially since her gaze is plain and dull.
Do you feel the urge to hit me? The urge to strike me down? The urge to destroy me along with everything else, mister Auroth? She smirked mentally as these thoughts and questions for him came to mind. She wouldn't say something like this, not because she's scared, but rather because it's not something she'd do yet in a new school. But, these questions did make her smile mentally though, strangely.

Auroth merely looked at the woman, his face slightly off balance as he recovered from his desire for destruction. Turning back slowly, the man was able to see out of the corner of his eyes that the woman was smiling, oddly at that. Not really one to inquire, all the Angel did was simply sit back down in is chair, a stack of books right next to him. The books around him were philosophical, psychological or theological.... All of which kept him quite busy. In the distance Auroth saw the Librarian come back, a cup of coffee in her hand as she walked into the backroom, doing god knows what.
Taking his azure gaze on Reiye, Auroth nodded his head as he motioned for the woman to sit down for a bit. He didn't know why, but it would be good to have some company, at least for a small bit. Besides, something about this woman intrigued Auroth... Her cold eyes of oblivion which drove him to nearly strike her down, hell, his hands are still shaking with the anticipation of feeling blood slither down his skin. It had been a while since he had hit the streets, as his inner self wanted to oh so badly justified it's own existence.
"Damn it" he though, as the shaking slowly spread through his arms.
Auroth questioned why he went through all this pain in his life, all this angst that he felt. He was alone really, alone and unique in a world indifferent to the human condition and experience. As he remained alone in this cold world, it was as through Auroth was fading away, losing his existence in this cold and bleak world. Truly, he was alone, in a world of nothing.
But, consequently, that is the world of freedom
In nothing, there is Freedom to do as one pleases, but in the World of Nothing there is no one there but one's self, and in time that begins to fade away.
Why?
Well, without anyone else, one cannot come with an image of one's self. By seeing the boundary and walls of others can one's image begin to form.... and ergo it is through other people that one exists, by seeing and imaging themselves. If there was no one around, then there would be nothing seperating one's self and nothing. What Auroth here is doing is taking it a step further, he is not comfortable with just this, and needs to further prove that he exists through the destruction of another...
Which, in essence, converts to Auroth destroying a piece of his own existence. Has he realized this?.... Maybe, one can't be sure. Auroth has fallen over the deep end quite a while ago, but yet all his actions follow and somewhat coherent plan....

(((ooc: Reiye didn't smile on the exterior >.> she smiled 'mentally' XD)))
Reiye said nothing as he took a seat, much more calmly than before, she should add. She watched as he motioned for her to sit down as well. She supposed there isn't really any reason to refuse. Plus, she has time, and nothing better to do, neither does she wish to go home either. And so, she pulled a nearby chair out and sat down across from Auroth. She took the time to observe him slightly more, her dull originally brown eyes yet hidden with her blue greyish contacts seemingly staying on his face, or rather, his facial expression. She has to admit, this Auroth here has got to be one of the strangest looking student in this school; however, who is she to say that when she herself has pink hair?!
The girl shrugged the thought off before glancing slightly away, her attention now falling onto the stack of books Auroth has with him. Philosophy, Psychology and so on. So she was right, this guy is some philosophical wacko! Although, she must admire him for the fact that he has the patience to read those types of books. Most are huge too. She herself, despite the type of person she is, is not someone with enough patience when reading a book. That doesn't mean she's not patient in general though, for she is, and more patient than a majority of individuals in this world.
Intriguing ... definitely intriguing.
Her expression remained one of apathy, promoting no signs of emotions whatsoever, as if she is dead. Soon, her gaze returned back towards Auroth. Finally, and very surprisingly, she spoke out. Not only did she say something, she said it slightly sarcastically as well. "I suppose you're a wealthy one." she commented, referring to the bar he broke earlier. Her voice was low but clear, showing hints of sarcasm. It was quiet, her voice, but loud anough to be heard by Auroth. It was rare indeed, to have Reiye speak first by herself.

OoC: Sorry for the long delay >.>
Auroth merely looked at the girl, his face hidden beneath his elegant yellow hair, his blue eyes shinning under the mellow library lights. Slowly placing his hand across his lap, the Angel leaned back as he looked the woman in the eyes....
"Me, rich?" Auroth began, realizing to what she was alluding to. "Oh yea... well, I don't know why I did that.... It just felt, at that time.... So, so good..."
The Cleanser looked down for a moment, his eyes flickering as he briefly looked up again, staring at this innocent looking girl. Yet, the more he looked the more the man began to understand how vile this woman was. She looked dead, and what made it worst was that she was alive... Alive, yet dead on the inside. This, of course, mirrored Auroth's predicament, dead (Or at least damn close to it) on the outside, yet still struggling to be alive on the inside.
Looking at her got the man mad, angry to the point of violence even... But he would not falter, he would not give in to his urge to destroy this woman. Yet why shouldn't he? This woman, who did not know, or maybe she did but she should at least be showing it, the value of her life.... And here was Auroth, all but dead, yet trying to find meaning in his life....
If that was the case, he'll find some meaning when he's destroying this woman.
"Indeed, you should kill her" a voice said to him, echoing from the depths of his soul. Only Auroth heard it, as he stared ever so calmly at the woman in front of him, so calmly it looked insidious. "Why wait? You know you'll destroy her like everything else Auroth.... Do it in the name of The Lord, Auroth..... This harlot deserves her demise because she can't even appreciate the life the Father has given her..."
"No, be quiet" Auroth whispered back to the voice, or from Reiye's point to himself.
Looking up, the man realized how odd he must have looked, and so swiftly smiled at the girl, staring at her with his stunning eyes... eyes which revealed the true depth of his madness...
"So tell me Reiye, what are you doing here?"

(((ooc: Ahem cough ... XD)))
Reiye stared at Auroth as he responded to her sarcastic comment. Her face showed nothing, not a single reaction, as he finished. Reiye could have smirked at his response. Not because it was funny, neither was it because this individual here is somewhat demented, but rather because his answer would almost be something she'd answer ... almost. But of course, she didn't do anythign such as smirking on the exterior. Her calm composure remained the entire time.
Reiye kept her eyes on Auroth, watching him carefully, yet her eyes seemed like they are looking pass him. He seemed to be thinking about something. For quite a while too. No matter, Reiye is a patient individual; she has all the time she needs, unless the librarian kicks them out that is. Actually, she was rather surprise that she didn't kick them out. It's past normal library time already. Most of the time, the library should have been closed about fifteen minutes ago already. However, this isn't something Reiye cares either, and so, she just shrugged the thought off.
Finally, the blonde spoke up, his facial expression changing. A smile now appeared on his face, totally different from when he was thinking a moment before. His eyes looked almost insane as Reiye stared at them with her own greyish blue, originally brown, orbs. Reiye sighed mentally as she heard the question. Somehow, she expected as much. She supposed she shouldn't be surprised.
"Most likely the total opposite of your reason to be here." she started, her facial expression starting to leave that emotionless one, gradually changing. A subtle grin now appeared on her face as she continued. "Or maybe ..." she paused again for a brief second and looked away to glance to her right before continuing. "it's the same reason as yours to be here. I'll let you do the judgement." she finished with a rather low tone of voice, her gaze now returning back to the figure seated in front of her.
Reiye didn't really mean to provoke him or anything, neither was she planning a fight. She was just somewhat interested in the sanity of this Varronite here. What's to happen is unexpected for now. Anything can happen when someone meet an unstable and insane individual, no? Well, this would be Reiye's first time meeting someone like Auroth.

"She's provoking you Auroth....kill her.....Destroy her.... You know she deserves it for taunting an Angel...."
"No... be silent" The man replied softly, his voice barely coherent to the girl. "Just stay out of this..."
Looking up, the man realized he was once more talking to himself, and soon smiled to the girl, trying to ease off the insanity he gave off like smoke from a fire, his eyes, however, revealed the true depths of his madness. Passion welled up in him as he felt the urge to strike, to destroy, to become the monsters he hunted, to justify why he exists. He is a psychopath, utterly insane, yet one could easily follow his derange logic, and understand what drove this man to such depths of madness.
"I heard voices" he thought, his eyes slowly losing focus as the Cleanser looked inward. "Voices, that told me to go destroy everything in the name of God.... But did I really hear those voices? of course, I didn't... I'm not crazy... I didn't hear anything...."
So after a few moments, Auroth basically convinced himself that he didn't hear what he told himself.... Paradox-like at best, the signs of a serial killer at worst. Regardless, all he did was simply lean back on his chair, letting his hands rest upon the tomes of wisdom and insight while his yellow hair dropped all over his cerulean eyes, hiding the madness which brewed so deeply in his soul......
"I think..... this place is great to just sit down and wind-down.... A place to read some nice books or something. It is a Library after all. How about you? I know I already asked this, but please do enlighten me, it does not suit me well to be making presumptions about your presence here..."

I suppose he's not that out of it ... or maybe ... he-
That was the first thought that came into Reiye's mind when Auroth spoke of the reason why he is here in the library before another thought interrupted her first. There's something wrong with his mentality alright, but he somehow has a way to control his inner darkness and urges to an extent ... His eyes showed that clearly. She could see it, those blue orbs reflecting madness and more.
Sighing mentally, she shook the thought away and kept silent, seriously wondering why she's here. Well, she remembered that right after the bell rang, she had slowly wandered into this quiet place while every other students were rushing by her trying to get out of the school as quick as possible. Maybe she just desired some peace and quiet, or maybe she just wanted to wait until everyone else got out of the school building first. Either way, it works for her.
Finally, she spoke out, her voice its usual tone. "I'm not quite sure. I was just here right after the bell rang. It's probably cause of all the noise the other students were making when they rushed to leave the school." she finished quietly and slowly. She gave a slight shrug, almost invisible to the human eye.
Reiye glanced away now, staring up at the ceiling as she leaned back against her chair, her head supported by the top edge of the chair's back. A few strands of her hair fell behind as they hung straight down. Her arms were crossed loosely on her stomach. Her greyish blue eyes just looked straight up, never blinking. Now, why would someone do such a random and pointless thing as to stare up at the plain ceiling like that. Simple, she heard something from upstairs. She wasn't sure what, but she heard something. Most likely someone running down the hallway. She shrugged mentally, not really caring; however, it did disrupt the silence, and she has to admit that she disliked that.

"I see" Auroth replied calmly, his face serene, yet his eyes mad like a snake on crack.
Slowly, he felt the craziness well up in him, and felt as though he heard voices. "They're just my imagination" he thought, pushing aside such thoughts as he looked at Reiye, his blue eyes on her like a hawk about to dive on it's prey. And as he looked on. the silence slowly covering the two students, all Auroth could focus on was Reiye, and her rather cold gaze. For some reason, it just.....Provoked him.. That's right, it just made him want to go and simply DESTROY her. It was her gaze really, that gaze which provoked that beast inside him. He doesn't understand why, but all he knew was that he wanted to smash her. Slowly gripping his hand into a fist, he was about to get up until he stopped himself midflight.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" He mentally yelled to himself. "HOW DARE YOU HURT AN INNOCENT!"
Gasping for air, all Auroth could do was lower his head in shame, letting his hair droop over his eyes. Slowly a tear fell, as he chastised himself for nearly harming her.
He began to wallow in self-loathing, hating himself for what he nearly did. Slowly another tear fell, and another, and then another... But as a man, he could let this get to him. Luckily, his hair covered all, hiding the radiant tears which fell from the Angel's azure eyes.
"She is a sinner... A woman who does not enjoy the richness of God's Providence, and would rather turn away from his light than be grateful for the life she has. Her sin is sloth, particularly at the decadence she has received from the Lord." A voice suddenly, said, ringing out of the darkness of his soul. "You must show her the light Auroth, cleanse her..."
"Of course" He said to himself, just loud enough for Reiye to hear.
Looking up, the man soon changed his expression. What was once the somber and sad gaze swiftly turned into a huge smile, one which resonated with madness at it's heels. As Auroth suddenly lunged forward, he caught himself... Recoiling from his perversion. From the expression on Auroth's face.... It wasn't going to last long...
"Reiye" Auroth yelled out, as if he was pushing something back. "I want....you....to run as fast as you can"
With that, the continued to hold onto his sanity... But within a few moments, Auroth had lost himself... Jumping over the table, howling for the girl's blood.
"Time to die sinner..."

Reiye's attention was quickly stolen away from the ceiling when Auroth's quiet voice was heard. "Of course." was all she heard. She raised a slight brow mentally, not exactly positive as to why he would suddenly say those two words. He then suddenly looked up, straing straight at her with a rather strange smile. It was abnormal, almost twisted to a certain point. However, that strange expression didn't last very long; it quickly changed and Auroth's words that came out was something Reiye didn't quite expect. Almost immediately, his expression returned back to that of a twisted and insane individual.
What the- her thoughts were cut short when Auroth hopped over the table and lunged at her. The words "Time to die sinner" echoed in her head as Reiye's eyes widened ever so slightly. The Hircinian pushed her chair back with an appropriate amount of force, allowing it to glide backwards on the floor a bit to get out of the crazed man's reach.
Look who's the sinner here. she thought, irritated almost. Her facial expression didn't seem to show it though, neither did it show any fear or anger. Instead, a cold expression replaced the once emotionless one on Reiye's delicate face while showing hints of her thinking. What the hell is wrong with him?!
Reiye cursed mentally as she quickly stood up, her greyish blue eyes staring straight at Auroth prepared for any incoming movements. She wasn't here to fight, neither does she wish to. It's a library, not a battle field. Plus, she has no interest in causing a ruckus like this after only being here for such a short period of time. Not to mention the fact that a Varron-Hircine fight would prove to be quite disapproving, to her at least. There's enough conflicts between the two groups, and she wasn't here to further amplify them.
Reiye said nothing still. Words aren't even necessary anymore at this point. She could tell one thing easily: Auroth has lost it; he's not able to control his mentality anymore for the timebeing.

"Looks like I'm going to have to purify you" Auroth said, his tone obviously enjoying every moment of this. "Don't worry, the pain you'll feel now will be NOTHING compared to the Eternal Damnation you'll feel when you're rotting in the ground"
With that, Auroth let out a cold smile, his eyes flickering on and off from the light nearby. The Librarian was gone, who knows where the hell she went... But it did more to help Auroth, third wheels do get in the way after all. Slowly raising his body up, the man stood fully extended, glaring down like a snake at Reiye. His hands soon came up, moving into fighting position as his body switched over into a White Crane Style stance. His hands raised themselves, pointed like swords toward Reiye's neck as he stood perpendicular to the woman, a smile still upon his face. The stance wasn't true White Crane, as he was more of a Mixed Martial Artist than adamant Traditionalist, but even so, this stance looked way to out of whack to even be called a stance. Suddenly, he then began to stare deeply into Reiye's eyes at that point, observing the emotionless abyss she displayed within her self... And for that, it just angered Auroth more, reinforcing his madness even more....
And as he looked into her eyes, so too could the girl look into his. If she was observant enough, she might have seen he had the eyes of a mad man, but if one would look deeper one would find they were the eyes of a dreamer.... Locked in a eternal dream, or nightmare. Regardless, all Auroth did was merely maintain his erratic posture.
"Tell me, do you want a quick death or perhaps a slow and painful one" The man asked, his face contorting as he uttered these words in a playfully sarcastic tone "I do hope you choose the latter.... It will be much more fun for me that way..."
And with that, Auroth jumped off, his body flaying all about as he moved with the grace of a insane drunk, flopping around randomly, and yet had the speed of a hawk in dive with him. His hand, then, shot out like lighting, aiming to grab the girl by the arm as his other palm would do the same, trying grab her and ultimately close the distance between his face to hers. If this work, then all Auroth would do would sneer at Reiye, letting his silver teeth shine for her to see before he would fall into an uncontrollable laughter. Don't be fooled by this though, his guard would still be very much up and aware of every action the girl would do.

"Purify?" Reiye repeated quietly, more so to herself, as her brow raised ever so slightly. She stared at Auroth, deep into his eyes, as she remained standing still, a short distance away from that mentally unstable character before her eyes. She watched as he changed his position, now into a rather strange looking White Crane stance. She narrowed her eyes slightly when he finally spoke out once again, asking if she wants to die quickly or slowly.
How about neither?! she thought, rolling her eyes mentally. As if she'd let him kill her right here in this library, in this school, in this city.
He continued speaking, and she can't help but admit it's starting to annoy her. He's intriguing and different, yes, but he's a bit too mentally unstable for Reiye to enjoy companionship from; there's no way she can enjoy receiving such company at the moment now can she?
Reiye kept her gaze fixed on him, particularly his cerulean eyes. They were what showed the most emotions, what showed who he exactly is. And she can easily see through them; it wasn't hard at all.
With his little 'speech' done, he rushed at her, his arms outstretched as if reaching for her, but surprisingly not at her throat like she'd expect. He was reaching for her arms, trying to hold her in. Groaning mentally, she allowed her face to twist into a slight growl, her eyes narrowed, as she would simply move out of the way, out of Auroth's reach. Dodging quickly to her left, she escaped from her originally standing position, stepping away from the chair that was supposedly right behind her. If he wasn't going to appropriately 'attack' her offensively, she wouldn't do anything of the sort either, neither was she hoping she has to. Not to mention that she doens't even know his actual fighting ability and strength, especially since he isn't even stable at the moment. Plus, he was bigger in size compared to her, not that size always mean anything.
Where is the librarian when you need her?! She frowned mentally. Not like it would help much though, if at all ... And she knew it was pretty much true.

((If you'd like me to butt out, just send a PM or something.))
Huh. The boy's crazy.
Kai was leaned against a bookshelf not too far from where the boy and the girl were, listening in. That's Reiye's voice. He smiled slightly to himself, shaking his head. I always knew her attitude and behavior patterns would get her in trouble, especially with people like him, who don't reason. He thought about stepping in right now, probably saving the girl from a shitload of trouble, putting putting himself in the deep end. That was something Kai didn't do so easily, especially for someone he'd only met a few days ago.
This is a chance to find out more about her.... and perhaps this Auroth guy too, if I need his information in the future. He thought for a moment, biting his thumb. But judging from his first statements, I have a feeling I'll be seeing more of him soon. He stopped biting for a moment, appearing to suck on his thumb. This is a chance to see if she can fight. That other guy? Written all over his body, 'fighter, killer, everything else sweet like that.'
He sighed a bit, not loud enough for the two of them to hear. He looked up at the ceiling.
I could be here all day.

"I'll begin by ripping your hair off, clump by clump until there's nothing else" Auroth said, as he slowly, just ever so slowly, approached Reiye. "Then, I'll pluck your fingers off one by one, by one until there's no more then I'll take off your toes..."
Smiling, Auroth continued his walk, just ever so slowly moving toward Reiye after she dodged his attack. She was a fighter that one.... but the Angel had yet begun his purge. The dark smile of his face widened with each passing step, echoing down the nearly empty library as the Cleanser's eyes shinned with the overhead lights. His silver teeth, flashing for but an instant, added to the man's lethal aspect. He could sense that there was someone around him, he just had this feeling.... However, who ever it was, they were too much of a coward to step in and help this poor girl. Perhaps Auroth should punish him for the sin of sloth (Failure to act after all), yet he would first need to deal with this scum here.
"No.... please no" Auroth said to himself as he prepared his fists. "I don't want to hurt her"
The man then looked away from Reiye, as though he was in a conversation with himself. "But I must, I must punish her, it is the will of god....."
"But this isn't what God wanted...."
"God does not want it? So be it, all I know is that the rush of blood is all I want... no..... NEED in life. Fuck it whether or not it's for God, I just want to kill this bitch"
"Nooo!" Auroth yelled..... to himself "STOP IT DAMN IT! I DON'T WANT TO HURT HER! Why, Why, WHY! WHY MUST I HARM HER! SHE'S INNOCENT! INNOCENT! IT'S NOT GOD'S WILL!!!.....STOP IT DAMN IT! WHY MUST I DESTROY HER!"
Auroth then regained composure, his conversation open for all to hear. He looked at Reiye, bearing his silver teeth as tears trickled down his face. He was crying it seemed, and yet laughing at the same time too. Suddenly, the man jumped off, his movements shaky and quivering as he came closer to Reiye. His fingers were clenched so hard a bit of blood started to drip down his palm, as his piercing blue eyes became soaked in tears..... yet all the while an inhuman laugh, although more like a chuckle, kept coming out of Auroth's mouth, flooding the library in it's mad laugh.
"Because that's the reason I exist" he whispered to himself... a sordid grin on his face.

(((ooc: I'm really really sorry for the delay of this post. I've been extremely busy for the past two weeks since March Break is coming (or well is here ...).)))
Reiye raised her brow ever so slightly as Auroth spoke out, listing the ways he'll torture her. The girl said nothing as Auroth stepped closer and closer to her while taking in all his words. She couldn't help but smirk mentally. As if I'll let you do that to me.
She watched as he continued advancing towards her while speaking to himself apparently. Reiye wasn't surprised at the sight; she had seen how stable this individual here really is already so it's almost expected. He tends to try to take back control at certain times, but he usually ends up failing. Now that is something Auroth really needs to work on.
Anyway, as Auroth was conversing with his 'other' self, Reiye just stood still, her cold grey-blue orbs staring directly at the blonde. Finally, her eyes widened slightly when he shouted out loud in agony, asking why he must 'destroy' her and such. Reiye wasn't afraid or anything; she was merely a bit surprised at his sudden outburst, though she's not sure why she is.
Suddenly, Auroth regained composure, and his now new appearance almost spooked Reiye. Not in the horrified sense, but more of a creepy and irritating sense. He was laughing inhumanely while tears rolled down his pale face. But the thing that intrigued Reiye the most was what he said last. His ultimate answer. "Because that's the reason I exist." Reiye could hear it clearly despite its tone. If she was still like how she was back then, those words would have sent shivers down her spine, but of course, she's not like how she was back then anymore. At any rate, she figured that much even before he said it. It was too obvious.
But even still, Reiye said nothing. She refused to say anything. It wasn't even needed, neither does she have anything to say anyway. So what will he do now? Strike her down? Kill her? Destroy her? She was waiting for his next sets of movements. She would be ready. Right now, she's more interested in his mentality than anything else, or maybe she should say she's intrigued by his control on his 'other' self. Let's see if God is on your side. Reiye grinned mentally at the thought. She isn't even a God believer.

"Is that why I exist?" The man called to himself as he sauntered over to Reiye. "All I do is kill, beat and fight.... Nothing more. Isn't there anything more to my existence then just fighting?"
Auroth's face scowled for a moment before he stopped, his piercing eyes becoming more and more unfocused... The voice spoke to his mind, yelling at him while externally, no one would know what's going on. "Shut up, I can do whatever the hell I want."
"No I can't! All I am is the Nihilistic demon of my own soul.... Using God to justify my, or rather your, actions"
With that, Auroth merely smiled, his teeth shinning like the full moon. "And what am I going to do about it?"
Indeed, what would Auroth do to stop Auroth? For the sane one, it was as though he was watching himself through a window, unable to do anything... Yet at the same time, it was as though he himself was committing this acts of evil, enjoying every moment of it. He was one mind, but shared by two souls. However, the perverse pleasure of causing pain was apparent in the smile Auroth had on on the physical plane, but on the inside the sane Auroth raged against his evil, screaming on silence. He yelled for what was an eternity, sure that his other and yet same self was going to commit atrocities upon the poor, unsuspecting girl. He banged his hands against the metaphysical ground, beating it as he watched how Auroth was moving ever closer to Reiye like a zombie, his smile reaching from ear to ear in a vile and evil manner. The silent observer in the distance that was watching this scene unfold (Kei)? It didn't matter... Auroth's cerulean eyes were all focused on Reiye, ready to strike...
Just as Auroth moved back, his arm getting ready to unleash a powerful punch, the sane Auroth could only scream, tears running freely down his cheeks. If the punch hits, it would be as though something will change forever.... It would be that Auroth would lose himself to the darkness of his soul, becoming nothing more but a hollow monster that would forever kill and hunt. Darkness welling up in him, the man slowly lost his mental form to the darkness of his own heart; with the punch ever so slowly being sent toward Reiye.
Just before Auroth's punch connected with Reiye, as if sealing the sane and mental Auroth to his eternal darkness....
The physical Auroth let out a scream.
He would lose himself to his inner evil... No, he would not die like that. The mental and sane Auroth raged, his anger fathoming in the physical Auroth that his other-yet-still-the-same self had taken. The physical Auroth dashed back, placing his hands over his head as he continued to yell..... howling in pain and fear.
"GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!" The sane Auroth yelled, possibly to Reiye, or his dark self.... "GET OUT OF HERE!"

(((ooc: It's actually Kai ... not Kei. =P)))
The girl watched Auroth still, her piercing stare never faltering as she started to step backwards ever so slowly, almost too slowly to be noticed. She could easily figure out Auroth's inner conflict at the moment; it was pretty much a no brainer. Anyone here right now would be able to figure it out without trying.
Reiye narrowed her eyes slightly as Auroth started to smile. What the hell is he thinking? She was curious, of course, yet at the same time, she had a pretty good answer for herself. Her thoughts were quickly interrupted when Auroth pulled his arm back, ready to strike at her. The girl's greyish blue eyes immediately widened as her orbs caught onto his arm's sudden movement. Instinctively, Reiye moved back a step or two quickly before Auroth's fist stopped midair right in front of her. She was almost confused at that point, but it soon, almost immediately, got to her that Auroth isn't someone ... 'normal.' So she supposed she shouldn't be surprised that his attack stopped right before his fist would make contact with her face, though if that was even going to happen if he hadn't stopped himself anyway, who knows?
Now after that, he screamed. Loud and clear and full of agony. "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! GET OUT OF HERE!" His voice rang in her ears as the girl stood there frozen for a brief second before her senses returned to her. She kept her gaze at Auroth, her eyes almost showing sympathy, though barely noticeable. Whether he was screaming at her to get out of here before he does something dangerous again or at his inner demons to, she's not exactly a hundred percent sure. So should she listen to her curiosity and stay to see what's going to happen despite his instability or do as he says and get out of here right now? She knew the latter choice was the smarter one, but she didn't quite want to leave just yet. Why? Simple. She didn't want to regret it afterwards. She hated the feeling of regret; it's the most useless emotion of all. She had lived her life feeling constant regret in the past several years, she didn't want to have a build-up of this feeling anymore. Plus, who knows what would happen to this mentally unstable individual after she leaves? She wasn't too worried that he'd hurt himself, since that's probably what happens to him everyday anyway, either it be mentally or physically. She was more concerned, or well interested, in his current state and split personality. It's not like she has anything to lose. Pain? It doesn't affect her that much anymore. She was in pain since that 'accident' years ago. She might as well be numb from it.
And so, she made her decision. Taking one more step back, she sighed mentally, her gaze still on Auroth clutching his own head. He needs to wake up. So what can she do to do just that? She wasn't sure, neither was she too keen on trying anything to help him as well. But what she really needs to do right now is to calm him down, but now that's the even harder task. How do you calm someone who's unstable down?! It's not like she's some psychiatrist or something. How would she know?
Sighing mentally once again, she glanced around the library. Something did indeed caught her eyes. Slowly walking over to the object on the librarian's desk while keeping her gaze on Auroth, she reached out to take the few flowers out, set them on the desk, and grabbed the thin vase. There were still water, approximately half full, if not slightly fuller. Once she was close enough, though still keeping a short distance away from him, she flung the water at Auroth while clutching the vase tight enough as to not let go and accidentally throw it at Auroth. Now that would be bad, no?
"Get a grip on yourself and wake up." the pink-haired girl said almost coldly, her tone of voice low and quiet. Let's just hope that won't backfire on her ... but of course, anything is possible at this moment, especially when the one you're facing is Auroth.

OOC: If I am interrupting this thread and you wish to have my post removed, simply PM me and I will delete it.
Kit had woken from his slumber. Glancing at his watch, it turns out he was asleep for about thirty minutes. He had came to the library to read a book and in the midst of it, had fallen asleep. It wasn't that the book was boring, but it was that Kit got tired from reading and his eyes eventually closed, leading him to fall asleep on any surface. In this case, he was sleeping on the top of the library shelves. Kit generally enjoyed high altitudes and he had climbed on the top reading his book. The corner he had read in was dim and was usually not visited by many people as it contained outdated books making it even more quiet than the rest of the library and a nice spot Kit enjoyed, where he could even fall asleep horizontally without being shooed by the librarian. The time noted that the library should be closing down soon, and Kit was about to climb down when he noted that someone else was in the library too. Crawling very silently over to get a better view, he noticed a boy sitting at a table. He had a stack of books next to him and seemed into a book when suddenly, he started speaking, "What is the point of all this? What is the point of any of this? Why am I here? Why am I hurting and beating all of these people? Is it for god? Is it really for god? Or am I just trying to make sense of my universe?"
Though the boy was whispering at first, Kit was relatively close to him to be able to hear everything and the library was quiet enough to hear even a book page turn. The boy's crecsendo in volume eventually led to his burst of anger, "WHY DO WHAT I DO! WHY DO ANYTHING! WHY DO WE EVEN EXIST! WHY! WHY! WHY!!!!" The boy was having some serious issues, Kit thought as he stayed hidden on top of the library shelves. He quietly pulled out a sheet of looseleaf and a pen and began writing a response to the boy's maddened cries for answers to the unanswerable. The written word was something Kit was a lot better in conversing in as opposed to attempting to speak, for now atleast. Though Kit's English fluency was slowly getting better, he still had a long way to go to speak as well as he wrote. Looking up, he saw that the boy was being approached by a pink haired girl, who seemed unfazed by the boy's sudden bursts of volume. "Maybe... Maybe, I destroy things to justify my existence. Maybe, I destroy because it gives me purpose to live..... Maybe, I am a monster because by being a monster, I'm something.... As oppose to being nothing..." The boy greeted himself as Auroth and appeared to be losing mental stability exponentially, only to halt his actions a second before physical consequences would occur. Keeping the corner of his eye on the situation, Kit wrote a response to the deranged boy. Should the girl not be capable of fending for herself, Kit would interfere, but it appeared so far that Auroth was able to stop himself each time he attempted to strike at the last second. Screaming, Auroth begged with anger for the girl to leave. However, she decided to finally get cold water from a flower vase to splash upon him, hoping it would wake him up.
Kit had finished the note and he folded it into a paper airplane, tossing it to Auroth. Should he or the girl read it, the contents would say:
There is no point, there is no goal, they are all illusions for life to carry on. Did god make humans or did humans make god? Humans make what they want comprehensible, to help bring order and justify the chaos they live in, to try to have a grip on what they have no control over. We exist because we do, but why question something that has an infinite amount of answers? Point A does not go to point B but rather to point c,d,e,f,etc as well. To see all the answers would be fruitless, as it is the method to get to the answer that matters as opposed to the answer. To put it simply, in a game of chess, the winner is not the important detail, but rather the series of steps the players have taken to arrive at that destination. You are something at all times as you cannot be nothing even if you try. By striving towards being nothing, you are the action that is pursuing a goal of nothing. By doing nothing, you are still striving towards something as you are not in an isolated container blocked by all influences of any forces be they natural, supernatural, or human. You exist so long as another exists, destroying only cancels your existance as another soul who is forced to acknowledge your prescense due to sensory perceptions will be erased should you decide to terminate their life. Relax, and enjoy life.
-Fellow student
Hoping the words would quell the madness, as Kit had seen Auroth in a calm mode before when he was reading, Kit waited to see what would happen as he stayed hidden, out of their visibility.
