Raven finished her application rather quickly. Her blush dying slowly and finally her normal pale skin was back to that near translucent color. She finished filling out the application and then stood up setting her pen down. She went over to the counter and smiled at the man as she handed him the application. He took a quick look over it and smiled.
"How long have you been baking at home?" he asked her flipping it over to the back side of the application to write a few things down.
"Well, about six years or so." she said softly.
"Great, and would you prefer to work in the front or the back?" he asked.
"I think, for me, the back would be best. But.. if you needed help I would work the front." she said.
"Allright, Well Miss Jacobs. I think I will see you starting Monday after school. We'll work out a schedule for you." he explained.
"I have track, so, I would be here til about four." she explained.
"That's just fine, you come in and we'll work on your schedule." he said.
"Thank you! Thank you very much." she said softly as she turned with a bright happy smile and went back to Joey.
"I got the job." she said excitedly as she put her things back away in her bag. She took his hand gently with a blush, having not blushed at all talking to the owner, and she helped him up a little.
"Ready to go to my place?" she asked softly looking up into his eyes as he finally stood up.

"Congratulations." Joey said calmly, making it known that he knew she would get the job the whole time.
"Lets go." he then replied after she took his hand. "So what movies do you have?" he said as he once again put his arm around her and headed out the door. "Because its not like we need to rent a movie if you already have one we can watch."
As they exited the bakery, Joey was slightly disappointed that the sweet smells would be gone. 'Maybe she will pick up some of this place's scent after she starts working here.' he thought playfully, looking down at Raven.
"So, which way do we go?" he asked. He hadn't been to her place yet and had no idea where it was in relativity to the bakery.

Raven smiled when he congratulated her. It was as if he knew she would get the job all along. But she liked that he had that confidence in her no matter what. Once standing he put his arm back around her and pulled her close. She went willingly of course enjoying being as close to him as she could right now. His arm was so warm and for some reason, in his arms she felt so very safe.
"Well, I mostly have girl movies I guess. Romantic comedies, musicals, drama.. the like. However, I do have Felix's movies, which he was a total guy, so, I don't know what he had, but you are free to look through the collection. I don't care what we watch so long as I get to .. well.. be with you." she said softly with a gentle blush.
They made it outside and he asked her which way they should go. She pointed to the left and they began heading in that direction. Her building wasn't very far luckily, she could even see it from here.
"See that large silver building over there?" she asked pointing it out. "Thats where I live, on the top floor." she explained.
She leaned against him, her head slightly on his shoulder as they walked like this. She was happy though, for the first time in two months she was really happy. Joey made her smile and he made her feel like she was normal again. It was nice to have met him this morning by her locker.
"How far from me do you live?" she asked softly as they walked. "I'd like to see your place.. one day."

"It really doesn't matter to me what we watch, you can pick whatever you want." Joey said sweetly. He wasn't very picky so in the end the movie didn't matter too much.
Raven then showed him where her home was. "Penthouse? Nice." he commented jokingly, referring to her top floor apartment. From the outside it didn't look like a bad place to live and he wondered if the inside was the same. Either way, he was about to find out.
"I live in the Hircine dorms." he replied to her question about where he lived. "I could have gotten my own place, but my roommates and I have been friends for a while and we thought it would be easier to just get a provided dorm instead of seperate apartments that we would have to pay for and everything. Besides, the dorms are nicer than you would think and we all have plenty of space, so really I don't see any problem with living there other than its not quite as flashy."
Once again, Joey secretly scolded himself for talking too much. At this point he was positive that it was Raven causing what he thought to be nervous rambling, though it really didn't sound like that at all.
"In any case, I'll bring you around sometime. Its no apartment but I like it so far."

Joey seemed rather keen on where her apartment was located. She smiled osftly as they continued heading towards it. It wasn't far they would be there is about another five or so minutes but she was walking much slower than her usual pace because of Joey and she didn't really want to rush anyway she was enjoying being with him and spending time here together. He began to explain that he lived in a dorm room and she cocked a brow. She had heard of dorm rooms definatly but with the money she had gotten from her grandmother's death she didn't have to worry about it so much.
"I'd like to visit sometime. And meet your friends. I bet they're nice, just like you." she said softly blushing at the compliment that she had given him.
The rest of the walk was in mere silence. She just enjoyed having his company around. It seemd that he was warming up to her. Where during school he would only say one or two things to her, here he was telling her a bit more and allowing her to get to know him better than before. She smiled softly as they reached the building she lived in and they entered the automatic sliding doors heading for the elevator.
"Well, I hope you'll like my place. It's pretty comfy, you might not want to leave." she chuckled softly.
It was a joke of course, and Raven's first try at one with Joey but maybe it would work. She pressed the button for the top floor and the elevator shot up through the silver building. Once at the top the door chimed and opened stepping out in a hallway that had two doors. One was Raven's. She slid her key into the door and opened it. The colors of her apartment were red, black, and white. White furniture with red and black accents. The walls in her kitchen were red, she liked them that way these were her favorite colors and it showed every where. Closing the door behind them she smiled at Joey and sat her things down.
"Make yourself at home. Are you hungry now? Or should we spend some time together before I cook?" she asked softly standing in front of him looking up at him.
