Ah, man. I can't believe I'm this bored....
Kai sighed, and flipped to the next page. Besides him, on the seat next to him, was a stack of Manga, all waiting to be read. That is, if they didn't fall apart soon. This library doesn't care much about its books, I see.... Kai thought, and flipped to the next page. He gasped a bit, for a rather frightening face was the next page. He reached one hand out to the table, feeling for something.
Lego! Yay! His fingers closed around the small piece of plastic, and snapped it onto an odd structure nearby without looking. I wonder what I'd build if I built something without looking. There was an odd sensation near his ankle. Kai, staying in his odd seating position scratched his feet together, attracting some strange looks.
The table he was sitting at was empty. Maybe because his shoes were off? Or he was weird? Who knew? Flipping through the last pages of the book, he sighed, and put it aside, in the chair next to him. The "read" pile. Turning to his other side, he picked up the next book and started reading.

Raven entered the library. Not knowing what else to do on a saturday alone she had decided to go see if the public library had anything worth while. And so she had walked from her apartment to where the library was said to be and sure enough the big building stood there with it's doors open and the heat from the building coming out to meet her as she walked in. Honestly it wasn't that cold, but then again she was from Russian New York in winter was not that cold. She was only dressed in a soft granny smith apple green long sleeve shirt. A short black pleated skirt. And those thigh high anime style socks that were black leaving only two inches of pale skin shown between skirt and socks.
She went through the fiction section and picked up some of the new fantasy novels that they had. But any books that weren't new releases were in horrible condition and she sighed. She was going to have to find a book fund somewhere. Because with the library in this current state the books wouldn't make a trip home and back before they fell apart and the sheets fluttered to the wind. She saw a boy at a table not too far away and there was no one else sitting there, she really didn't want to go back to her empty apartment just to sit down and read alone.
"I hope you don't mind.. if I join you." she said softly in a whisper that was almost hard to hear as she took a seat blushing. Raven was a shy girl. Very shy.
Now only seen was her long sleeve green shirt that hugged her firm toned body. Her black hair was down today as she opened her book not wanting to disturb the boy too much if he was really into his book but if he wanted to talk that would be fine she wasn't the kind of person that would be all strict in the library she merely wanted somewhere to be.

Taru was kicked through the libary doors speeding through and wham hit the book case. A burly hircine student went in and looked very angry. He was probaly the person who kicked Taru right into the libary. "You stupid jap, stay the fuck away from my--"
The libarian came right up to him and pulled out her ruler. She gave him a very angry frustrating look telling him "Get out and be quiet." The hircine student looked at Taru who was still against the book case, and grabbed a large book.
"Here's a good bye gift!"
The hircine student threw it dead on at Taru's head which impacted right on Taru's forehead making Taru hit his head against the book case again and blood started to ooze out of the spot where the book hit Taru and flow onto his face. And Taru motionless on the floor only looked up at the hircine student as he left.
"Damn...(In Japanese)"
He put his head back against the wall and closed his eyes to prevent blood getting into his eyes. The blood kept going and got to the bottom of Taru's chin then flow to his neck and so on. He was suprised how rough people are when they think your from Varron.
Taru then saw the blood. His eyes widened. His body started shaking. And if no one was even aware of Taru, they had to be blind. Taru started to freak out completely. Him seeing blood is the worst thing possible him having hemophobia. Taru couldn't help it now he was about yell from all the fear.
"chishio!!(Blood!!)chishio!!"
The libarian looked at the student and tried telling him to shush. But Taru couldnt' stop...The blood scared him crapless. His hemophobia was getting worse everytime he saw blood.
"chishio!!!chishio!!!"
Taru couldn't stop yelling making him interrupt the whole libary. He knew he was being a burden but he couldn't stop himself. He started to sob unable to do anything about his abnormal fear of blood.

"Not at all...." Kai whispered to the girl, looking up from his book for a brief moment. She seems familiar.... maybe in one of my classes? Kai looked up again. Yeah. In gym, but I don't remember her name. Heck, the only name besides my own that I remember are my teachers' and Junpei's... and that KruZy guy. "Do.... you got to Hircine High?" he asked, while flipping to another page.
Suddenly, there was a loud bang[/i], and someone was yelling frantically. Chishio? Kai looked down at his book. The villain in the manga, Rurouni Kenshin, was named Shishio. It must mean something weird.... Looking up to the source of the yelling, he spotted a boy bleeding from his head. A book, stained red, was at his feet.
Hemophobic, or he has that disease where the blood doesn't clot. What was it called again? Kai thought for a moment. No one was approaching him. Did they think Universal was shooting a new movie? I guess I will, if no one else will... Spotting his white hoodie nearby, Kai took it and leapt out of his seat, clear over the table, and scampered to the boy's side. He wrapped the boy up in it, and hoped he didn't have claustrophobia as well.
"Chill out. It's just a small cut."

Taru's eyes looked at Kai still wide eyed and freightened. He realized he caused so much commotion and a person actually came up to him and helped him out. Taru felt the warmth from the hoodie and started to calm down and his eyes started to ease.
"T-t-hank you..S-s-sorry for the trouble. He had a japanese symbol on his car outside the parking lot and I told him what it meant. Then he got angry and started attacking me. I couldn't fight back though since he threw me on the ground then kicked me into hear."
Taru tried getting up till he felt jolts of pain in his ribs. Taru felt his ribs and frowned.
"I either broke my ribs, or they got cracked badly. Taru looked at the person who came to help him out of all the other people in the libary who semed not to give a care.
"My name is Taru. And you are?"
Taru put his hand out since he was unable to get up due to the pain from his ribs and frankly his head hurts so he didn't want to focus on anything at the moment. One of Taru's eyes started to close so he strived on not to collapse yet since he wanted to meet Kai before he did.

Why does everyone ask for my name?
"Kenji," Kai said, using his alias. Hmm... A ricer outside with a Japanese symbol on his car. Kai almost laughed, but remembered the injured person before him. "Do you need to go to the hospital?" he asked, backing away, giving him some breathing space. The atmosphere in the Library seemed to have calmed down now, and everyone went back to reading.
He slipped one of his phones out, a slim LG Chocolate, and dialed "911" his thumb hovered over the "call" button. He won't need it. I'll get a quicker response this way.

Taru was about to collapse so he slowly began to fall down. The pain from the ribs+the head ache from the book+the shock from hemophobia was straining on little Taru. So barely awake Taru smiled at his name Kenji, sounded funny to Taru since he was hallucinating.
"Yeah the symbol meant breast milk and a hospital would be nice."
Taru hit the ground and finally collapsed.

((Let's wait for Raven. Sorry for the crappy post. I'm in a hurry.))
Looks like he'll be needing it after all.
He hit the "call" button and waited for a greeting. Finally.
"911."[/i]
"Yeah. San Francisco library. There's a guy bleeding from his head, and with a broken rib. I'll leave him on the front steps."
"Wait. What's your name?"[/i]
"My name is immaterial," Kai responded, and hung up with the touch of a button. With a small sigh, Kai picked the kid up and slung him over his shoulder. Heavier than he looks. Then again, I'm not exactly the strongest guy on the block. He carried the kid outside, seemingly taking decades, while actually taking only a few moments.
Almost... there....
With a small grunt, Kai set the kit down at the foot of the steps. Sure enough, sirens began to ring in the distance. Not wanting to attract attention to himself, Kai quickly ran back inside the library, forgetting about his hoodie. He dashed past rows of books, and tables full of people gossiping about what had just happened. Amazingly, one of the librarians told him to "slow it down."
Wow. After all that, all you can say is "slow it down?" Kai scoffed and carried on, back to his table. NO! What if someone's checking out my books?! That girl! He picked up the pace and hopped into his seat. His eyes did a quick scan of the area. He rapidly counted thirty volumes of manga, his Lego's scattered about the table, and the girl he was just talking to.
"Good. They're all here," Kai said, breathing a sigh of relief, referring to the books.
Turning back to the girl, he spoke again, a lot softer and more fluid this time.
"So, yeah. You look familiar."

((*blinks* wow.. okie dokie))
Raven smiled and blushed softly as she took the seat next to the young man. He was reading those Japanese books with the pictures in them. She never had really gotten into that kind of thing. But it didnt mean that they weren't good reading she had just yet to find the one that called out to her. Instead for now she preferred to read the fantasty novels; dragons and so forth. She opened her book figuring that the boy across from her wouldn't want to really talk to her because for one they were in a library and two he seemed terribly engrossed in his book. Not that she minded as she had come here to read not to chat.
She had just turned the page when she heard a huge crash from close by. Turning she looked as some boy had been thrown into the book shelves and was bleeding all over the place. She rose. Watching as the boy that she had been sitting across from seemed to go right into action. She admired that in a way. That he could do that. Run over and just talk to the boy like it was nothing more than a good ol buddy but it still seemed that they had only just met. She swallowed and stepped closer watching but there was nothing she could do. She had no cell phone and she didn't have anything to stop the blood flow. It was just a scratch but he seemed to be bleeding so much and so she concluded he must have that disease.. hemophilia.
The boy pulled out a phone and called the ambulance. As he picked him up and carried him out to the front steps. Raven helped the librarians clean up the blood and began to replace the books back on the shelf. It wasn't long and they were done the library almost showed no signs of what had just happened and as they thanked her she merely blushed and nodded as she went and sat down in her seat again and returned to her book. It wasn't long when the boy came back resuming his seat and she chuckled at his comment.
Looking up when he addressed her she smiled.
"School? Probably. I go to Hircine." she said softly in her thick Russian accent. "Perhaps in class or in the hall. My name is Raven."
She noticed the legos on the table and she smiled a bit brighter. She had never had legos before as a child. She picked one up gently in her pale hands and looked at it. It was interesting the way they made these how they fit together and stayed together rather sturdily.
"These are neat. I've never seen them before." she said with a soft smile. She clicked two peices together and smiled. "Where did these come from.. and .. what are they?" she asked.
"Forgive me.. it probably seems silly but I.. am not from America and I have never seen these before."

"Well, they're toys," Kai said lamely, and put down the book, picking up a few pieces and clicking them together. Well, judging from what she's said, she's probably foreign. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but she probably didn't have the "best" childhood. From her accent.... I'd say she's a Russian. He thought for a moment and spoke again, showing her how the toy worked.
"It's like the bricks of a house, except you can make almost anything you want...." Kai said quietly, showing her the "dog" he'd put together using a few pieces. He set it down on the table for her to see. Well, she seems like a Senior, or a Junior. Not very easy to tell. He watched her tinker with the pieces in her hand and almost smiled.
"Raven...." he said, repeating her name, and then trailing off. I haven't asked for her name, and yet she voluntarily gives it. Maybe she's... lonely? He frowned slightly, and began nibbling on the tip of his thumb again. "That's a nice name...." he said at last.
She's anything but a Raven, Kai thought, looking at the person on the cover of the book.

Raven watched closely her finger marking her page in the book she had started reading. It was interesting to say the least but the only thing she hadn't figured out was why on Earth they would have toys at a library. Still he showed her this statue thing that looked like a dog. She smiled as she picked it up gently and held it careful not to break it. She smiled at it softly and then sat it back down. He looked up when he mentioned her name and she blushed. Chewing on his thumb he seemed to think about it, as if it was his choice what she was named.
Suddenly he said it was a nice name. She blushed deeply and nodded softly. She supposed it was. It wasn't really something she thought about. Sure she could be one of those girls that hated their names and went by something else but she really didn't care. A name, was just that. A name.
"Thank you. That is very kind of you to say." she said with her soft voice. "And thank you for showing me these toys. They are really neat. I've never seen anything like it before."
Raven figured he might want to read. After all this was a library and that was what you tended to do here. So she opened her book back up. Placing her upper arm on the table she bent it at the wrist and lay her hand on her pale neck letting her body leaned against it a bit. Her black hair fell over her shoulder as her crystalline powder blue eyes began to dance over the page.

((Sorry for the late post.))
"They're for little kids...." Kai said sheepishly, and took apart the small dog he had made. Yeah, but I play with them anyway. Helps me think.... He watched as she went back to reading, her blue eyes dancing across the page. Well, she's either shy, doesn't like me, doesn't like disturbing people, or just wants to read. Kai thought for a moment, putting his thumb to his lip again.
I suppose I should as well...
He reached across the table to take back his structure, but instead found it shattered, pieces all over the table, and a figure sitting across from him. Kai sighed, but was actually used to this by now. Hell, this has happened on the first day of school...
"Yeah?" he asked the person, sighing along the way.

She smiled. They were for kids? That was neat. She closed her book again as he spoke and she watched as he went to pick up a new sculpture he had made but all that was there were peices all over the table. She smiled as he seemed to acknowledge a person that had sat across from him. Raven, out of curiosity put her books to the side so that she could put a few legos together to see how they worked.
"I don't think it matters if they are meant for children. I'm sure you aren't the only non child that plays with them." she said with a smile.
She put some together trying to make a little house. Her adept little pale fingers working the little blocks of different sizes. She smiled softly as it began coming together. She had never played with anything like this before it was neat and fun. She looked up at him and smiled.
"So.. did you bring these yourself. Or were they here? I admit.. it is rather addictive, however if you wish me not to touch them I wont. I have just never seen anything of the like." she smiled softly.
If he let her she would continue to build but if not she would carefully tear it back down and slide the legos back over to him. She looked up at him again with her blue eyes and blushed softly as she cast her eyes back down.
"I don't believe, I know your name yet." she said softly.

Dante strode into the Library with glee. He felt as if this was a really good day. The sun was shining, the grass looked greener, then ever before, and the fact that he got a major role in the musical Fiddler on The Roof didn't hurt much either.
He liked going into the library, since he helped the librarians almost all of the time, and since they have seen his dog Elliot, they knew that he wouldn't cause any trouble at all so Dante could come into the library with him.
Dante walked in and almost immediately he noticed that there were ambulances outside and that there was a body on the floor. Most peculiarly though, was that no one even seemed to notice...
He rushed over to a librarian, "Excuse me but can you explain that body on the ground?" The librarian shrugged and said, "Ask those two people over at that table. They're the ones who called the hospital." Dante then groaned quietly, "The librarians: they can be sweet but if it doesn't have to do with books or the volume then it isn't their problem..." "Did you say something Dante?" The librarian asked inquisitively. "No ma'm." Dante said and walked over to the table.
Dante noticed the girl from gym, but the boy he could've sworn he's never seen in his life. And for some reason they were both messing with Lego's.
"Excuse me you two but can you tell me what the deal is with the body on the ground?" He asked and looked at the Lego's on the table, "What's with the Lego's too?"

I don't believe I know your name yet....[/i]
"Kenji.....," Kai said slowly, pausing for a moment. "I, uh... bring a bag full of them wherever I go." He grinned sheepishly, putting all the loose pieces into a pile. I guess I have to start over.... "I find I can't stay still for long, so I play with these to keep my mind in check, and my body occupied," he said, but looked away. I usually don't talk this much.... he thought with a slight frown.
Just then, another teenager entered the scene. "Someone was attacked and knocked out. I called the authorities," he said, without looking up. When he inquired about the Legos, Kai scowled. So many questions.....
"I play with them......"

Raven continued playing with the legos. He didn't tell her to stop and she had to admit she was having a good time. She was building her small little house brick by brick not really worrying about the color because she didn't want to get to the end and not have enough. But she was mainly using her two favorite colors of red and black hoping she could make it just out of those colors and she didnt have to worry about using other colors to ruin the contenuity of the piece.
"Kenji. I like that. It's unique." she said softly as she blushed again.
He explained that he took the legos everywhere that he liked to keep his mind and his body busy at all times. She smiled. She knew exactly what he meant. She nodded softly as she began to put a roof on her little house. Another boy came up and she looked up and blushed. She remembered him. He had been coming into the gym that day in Varron when she was leaving it. She smiled up at him and let Kenji explain just what was going on.
"Besides, legos are fun." she added softly in her thick accent as she began building a black chimeny on top of her little house. She was honestly having a good time and she wasn't even reading which was unusual for her in a library.
"Care to join us?" she asked looking up at the new arrival. There was an empty seat beside her. It was up to Kenji if he was going to share his legos with the newcomer.

Dante grinned when the boy explained he just, 'Played with them...' "Eh, Lego are cool. I played with them all the time when I was a kid." He shrugged, "To be honest, I still help my little brother with them."
When the girl asked him to join them, his ears grew bright red, "Uh, o-okay." He muttered, "I hope you don't mind dogs." He said while he pulled up a chair and he carried Elliot with him. Russian accent? He asked himself as the girl spoke in a deep Russian accent, That's neat...
"So are you both in Circine or what?" He asked them both. He was planning to ask them both any questions about Circine if they were or ask them how they like San Fransisco, better than New York or not, etc.
"So, my names Dante," He held out his hand, it didn't matter who shook it if anybody was, heck he would be lucky if both shook it. "What's yours?" Geez, you need to quit asking so many questions. He told himself.

((Sorry it's short, but there's not much to say....))
"Yes, I attend Hircine," Kai said, going back to his book so that the newcomer could play with them. Who knew Legos would actually attract people? Kai thought, his eyes scanning the page. A man in mummy-wraps had just cut a man in half, and lit the corpse ablaze. Wow.
"I'm Kenji.....," he said, and nearly blushed as Raven commented on it. It's not even my real name.... He flipped the book over to the 'read' pile and reached for the 'to read' pile. Bleach..... he thought, looking at the black-haired person on the cover. Very cliche. But still enjoyable.

OOC: Mine is kind of short too...
"Hey Kenji!" Dante said cheerfully. Then he got the Legos and asked, "Do you mind if I tinker with these for a second?"
But right then after his dog jumped up and started to lick his face, "Okay, stop.." Dante said quietly while giggling. He forgot what he was asking in the first place so he just got to his books.
Then he looked at the page Kenji was reading, "Whoa." Dante whispered, "Gruesome..." Then he got out a book he's been wanting to read for some time: Lord of the Flies. He heard it could get boring, but he usually never listened to what other people said about books.
Later when he was on the second chapter he was bored out of his skull, "I should have gotten The Chocolate War." He groaned and took the Legos.
"So can I use these?" He asked and then waited for a reply.

"...Yeah," Kai said, surprised that Dante had not picked up on Kai's stopping; so that he could play with them instead. That took long enough, Kai thought, looking up as the dog began to attack Dante's face. I hope he doesn't eat the pieces. "Make sure he doesn't eat the pieces, please. I wouldn't want to be held responsible if he got hurt...." Kai said lowly. It was a library, after all.
Very happy-go-lucky. He must be one of the less emo Hircine kids.
Somehow, all the manga I read have a lot of bloodshed... Kai thought, looking down at the page. A Katana had just been shoved through someone's torso, twice. I always knew the Japanese were crazy. He flipped to the end, a preview of the next volume. Finished? Already? He looked up at the time. Still a lot of time to burn.
With a small sigh, he flipped the book over to the side and reached for the next one.
Initial D.
