(OOC: Maybe Mature? You know how that one gets sometimes ) Since Adam's departure, Kyukaku had lived alone for the most part. Audrey came over a good deal of the time, but sadly, he slept alone most of the time. He wouldn't be getting a new roomate this semester as it was, and after getting used to living along he wasn't looking forward to having that other room occupied once again by someone he probably didn't even know. Tonight was a friday night, meaning no school in the morning. It was surprisingly chilly for a San Fransisco evening, even if it was winter time. As such, he didn't feel like going out anywhere, and just told Audrey to head to his room whenever she wanted. She was likely busy with the end of the semester coming around, as thats when all the assignments and projects caught up to you. That thought brought Kyukaku down just a bit. This was Audrey's last semester at Hircine High, meaning she'd move on elsewhere. Where exactly that was, Kyukaku didn't know. In fact, nothing was certain in his mind. What she would do would effect him as well, and essentially effecting them. He wasn't much of a long time planner, and looking to the future right now began to make him anxious. He moved to the kitchen, grabbing a frying pan from underneath the sink. As he set it on the stove, he subconsciously reminisced. About a year ago he used a frying pan similiar to this one to fend off Trent in his apartment back in New York. At times, Kyukaku wished he didn't. If he had died in Varron, Trent would never have gone after Audrey when he did. She made it out alive, thanks to her own amazing brain. She said she was fine of course, but Kyu had her doubts. Such events have scarred him, and it was hard for his testosterone to accept the fact it didn't have the same effect on a teenage girl. He slowly faded his thoughts back as the stir fry, one thing Kyu could cook decently well, began to sizzle on the pan. As it finished, he seperated the portions onto two plates, pulling out two snickers bars to top his fancy chef mannerisms. He assumed Audrey would be here soon, as she never kept him waiting long. Punctual. Just something else to add to the list of what makes her much better than me.

OOC l| Shush it.. Now that you said something, NOTHING will happen. Quite some time has passed since Audrey had spent more than a few hours with her beloved Kyukaku. With the upcoming graduation in place, she had began scrambling to catch with her assignments and make sure she is not held back for another year. As bad as that may sound, being held back a year could have it's pros along with the cons. She would still be able to see Kyukaku as often as she'd like and even graduate with him. The thought continued to replay over and over in her mind. This contemplation almost made her want to choose to stay behind.. on PURPOSE. He wouldn't allow it. And if I did, he would be happy that I will spend more time with him.. but upset with the fact that I chose to reverse my life to spend an entire year repeating the same courses. She sighed. Either way, nothing could pry her away from him. She would not let something like Graduation become an invisible wall that kept them apart. She loved him and that way it shall remain. As Audrey reached the front door of Kyukaku's apartment, she took in a deep breath to let go of all the thoughts that had been troubling her. She did not want this to affect her mood and then cause Kyukaku to worry about her. She would just enjoy the fact that they are together and nothing else at the moment matters. Her hand lifted as she would slowly knock against the wooden door. She pushed aside some hair from her face and tugged it behind her ears, which would fall again in front of her face. She smirked as she waited patiently to see her lover's face. He has her heart and she has his. Nothing can change that.

There was a knock on the door, Kyukaku sliding to the table. He set down both plates, turning as quick as he could to turn back to the door. He almost slipped out of his moccasins in the process, sliding once again to land at the door. He opened it quickly, standing straight up as he felt it would make it look like he wasn't rushing around.
"Hey, there."
Kyukaku would open the door all the way, stepping to the side to allow Audrey to pass through without him standing in the way. Assuming she'd do so, Kyukaku would nod towards the table, also assuming that she would see the food sitting there and move towards it.
"You know, it has been like a year. You can just walk in."
While Kyu would offer the chair for Audrey to sit in, he was pretty sure Audrey would already be sitting. She tended to do things for herself, always sticking it to the ways of the old.
After saying so, Kyukaku began to find himself a little surprised of the fact it had been about a year of dating Audrey. He didn't know the exact date of course, as he didn't even know what today was. He did remember it though. It all started by bumping into Audrey in the hallway. From there, it was threats of shooting him in the chest for wearing a superman shirt, and there it ended in her agreeing to a date. It was then that they became a couple, at the Christmas Dance back in Varron City.
"Excited about graduation?"

The door quickly open in front of her catching Audrey by surprise as her eyes widen momentarily. She merely giggled some as she say Kyukaku trying to play it cool as he motioned her to walk in. She walked over to him and placed a gentle kiss on his lips as she walked towards the table.
"Yes, I know," she replied to his comment about her being able to come in and go as she pleases.
Seeing his face brighten as he opened the door for her and sweet little 'hello' they would exchange was something she enjoyed. So she would continue to knock on the door and await him like she wanted to. Each time she laid eyes upon him it was like seeing him for the first time. She still had the butterflies flapping around in her stomach and the goofy smile, like always.
He offered her a seat and nodded as she sat down slowly. Crossing her legs, she kept her eyes on Kyukaku as he asked her a question related to her upcoming graduation. Audrey just sighed some and then stared down at her hands that were folded on top of the table.
"To be honest," she began,"I have mixed feelings upon the situation."
She knew Graduation was as much on her mind as it was on Kyukaku's. He probably had been pondering on if Audrey would move away to start her life anew, leaving behind her sweetheart. She didn't want to leave, and she had no thought in her mind of abandoning him. She wasn't even sure of what was going to happen.
"Whether I should repeat a year at Hircine or not. I have too much on my mind and I feel like my head is going to explode," her fingers wrestled in her hair as she pulled on them then dropped her down onto her hands that now laid atop of the table flatly,"I just don't know."

Kyukaku did his best to speak with enthusiasm about graduation. It sounded believable, but it seemed the charade wouldn't even be necessary. Gauged by both tone and the words spoken; Audrey didn't have the typical Senioritis about graduation. Her first sentence caused Kyu to set down the fork that hadn't even touched the food yet. As she continued on to the next, Kyu found himself gracefully rising to his feet and moving towards Audrey.
"You know you can't do that." He sat on the edge of the table, placing his left hand atop her own.
"You're far too smart for that, Audrey. We both know that you wouldn't want to repeat a year here to renew your high school experience, or to reinforce what you've already learned. I can't let you put your life on pause, if the reason is me."
He paused, taking a moment and rubbing his hand upon hers in hopes to catch eye contact before continuing.
"You have too much potential for that. If there's one thing that I've heard too damn much, its that potential shouldn't be wasted. I think I've finally found out what Taiku and Dain have always meant for that to mean to me....and I think you need to find what it is for you. You're smarter than I am Audrey, and your smarter than to repeat your Senior year on...some guy." He paused again, giving a small wink before kissin the top of her head.

Audrey eyes remained staring down at her hands, which now had Kyukaku's left hand atop of hers. She listened to his words but they seemed to drift one ear and out the other. Knowing the consequences of her possible actions already, she did not want it to be repeated to her. She wasn't a child.
What am I getting mad over? He's only saying this because he cares for me.
Watching his hand caress hers, her eyes drifted to his as he continued to speak. Small tears started to form in her eyes. Repeating a whole year was nothing compared to possibly losing the first real person she ever loved. His words touched her in a way that broke down that tough exterior that tried to hide anything that was too revealing. She took in a deep breath and exhaled loudly as she wiped away her tears. But his final statement struck a nerve deep within Audrey and made her jolt out of her seat.
"You are not just some guy, Kyukaku. So don't you ever say that to me again," her tears fell but her face remained as stern as ever. Audrey personally never enjoyed yelling at her lover, but she felt that he had crossed a certain line while pertaining to himself as just some guy, "I love you and that makes you worth more than anything to me on this pathetic little planet."
Ending her sentence, she shoved his shoulder violently,"And don't you forget it!"
Walking angrily towards the bathroom, she opened the door then slammed it behind her. She turned on the faucet and shoved her hands quickly under the cool, running water. Splashing it on her face, she glanced up at the mirror in front of her. Her full, pouting lips frowned as she threw her back against the door and slid down onto the floor.

Audrey began to tear up, Kyukaku not being so dense as to realize this was an emotional subject for her. Hell, it was for him too, so it wasn't fair to think that way. He slowly moved his right index finger towards her face, planning on wiping away the tears for his lover.
Instead, Audrey suddenly sprang up, surprising Kyu as he just finished speaking. Even though the girl was telling him how much she loved him, Audrey spoke in such a negative tone. Kyukaku's face contorted into one of extreme bewilderment, furrowing his brow as his mouth gaped open slightly.
"I know, I was just-"
His understanding didn't become anymore clear as Audrey pushed him out of anger. While the push wasn't anything overly powerful, it did push Kyukaku off his sitting spot upon the corner of the table. He landed evenly on his feet, shifting his balance as he looked back up to his girlfriend. Audrey then ran for the bathroom, slamming the door and leaving Kyukaku there, eyebrow cocked.
Wha...what the hell did I do wrong NOW?
Kyu stared in disbelief, waiting a good few moments before even thinking about approaching the door. He could disect someone's attack in an instant, yet he couldn't fathom what went on in a woman's brain. Life and death, that's easy. The emotional roller coaster of the opposite sex--that's just plain frightening.
As he came up to the door, he paused. The water was running, but for so long that Kyukaku became even more confused. Her hands couldn't possibly be that dirty. Taking in a deep breath, he slowly raised his hand, rapping his nuckles gently against the door. He waited a few seconds again before speaking, as he was at a loss of what to say.
"Hey, come back out here...I'll uh, let you shoot me in the chest..." Kyukaku trailed off, sighing in frustration of his own stupid reference to their first meeting.
You're an idiot. She'll probably just think you're talking about letting her kill you...Wait, is that what that means anyways? I hope she's not angry enough to accept...NOW what are you saying? Damn you really are an idiot.

Audrey's fingertips massaged her scalp as she listened to Kyukaku's feeble attempts of getting her to pry open the door. A small smirk appeared on her face as she sat there on the cold floor in the bathroom.
"Silly boy..," she muttered as she began to slowly rise to her feet. Reaching for the knob to turn off the running water, she stared back at her reflection. Pushing aside the usual strands of golden brown hair covering her face, she peered into her own eyes. Those pale blue orbs now seemed to be more calm and collected than just a few minutes ago. She knew Kyukaku could be wondering why she acted, better yet, overreacted. She sighed.
Turning to the door, she rested her left hand upon the knob. She could sense the complete confusion that was now affecting her beloved on the other side of the door. Her forehead rested against the door as she began to speak, "If I wanted to hurt you, I could have done that at least 5 times while we were sitting down. You should know that, " she giggled. She had hoped he would recognize her sarcasm and not take it seriously. Hurting Kyukaku is not even something on her mind, EVER. But she knew how nervous and utterly lost he was at this moment, she thought she would just throw some more at him.
The twisting of the inners locks from the knob made a small CLICK! as she opened the door. She stood there staring at Kyu, placing her hand on the side of his face. Her thumb gently rubbed against his cheek as she leaned in and laid a gentle kiss upon his lips.
"I apologize for the way I acted. Forgive me?," she pouted. Assuming he would say yes, she would then exclaim, "I'm starving, why don't we finish up our dinner with a movie? Got anything worth watching?"

"Yeah, I know. But.."
Kyukaku trailed off, keeping himself from continuing that sentence. He heard Audrey talking to him, but he hadn't even registered the words before he continued to try and ease the situation. He blinked, hard, processing her sarcasm even as the door opened. He stared blankly, only relaxing and closing his eyes when Audrey's lips touched his own.
When she pulled away and spoke, however, the blank look returned. If Kyukaku wasn't confused enough before, he certainly was now. Her emotions flared down as quick as they flared up, and despite his instincts he knew better than to blame the monthly beast that came with all women. Instead, Kyu just blinked again, taking another few moments without changing expression before replying.
"Uh, yeah...yes. I mean yes. Anyways, go ahead and get comfy on the couch then. I'll get dinner. I mostly got Kung Fu movies over by the TV. Pick something out that you won't hate too much."
Kyukaku would smile softly, grabbing Audrey's hand and giving it a short squeeze as he walked past her into the kitchen. With the ceiling fan still on (as Kyu never figured out how to turn it off), the two plates would be cold now. He took the plates over to the microwave, planning on reheating them.
He stood at the microwave, leaning against the counter as he watched Audrey meander about. Kyukaku smirked at the quirks of his girlfriend, feeling a quaint happiness inside. Still, there was an apparent issue at hand. Kyukaku wasn't much of one to stress over things due to his laid back nature, but when it came to Audrey he found himself anxious more often than he'd like. Nothing had been resolved in the least, as he didn't even know what the problem was in the first place. If he brought it up again though, Audrey could get just as upset again, if not worse.
His smirk faded to a frown, causing the junior to sigh. A moment later he cursed under his breath as he turned back to the food in the microwave. He spaced out once again, noticing that the cold food was now quite warm, though just as shriveled and dried out. He sighed again, taking a plate over to Audrey and displaying it in his hands for her to see. He held it in front of her, frowning.
"I made an oopsie."

Knowing that his wide collection of movies was simply one genre, Audrey found no real reason to search through them. She felt that Kyu could pick out something they might both enjoy since he most likely new each film very well. Instead she searched for the remote to turn on the television set. Falling to her knees she searched under the couch, and between the seating. She then turned to a small end table and saw the remote lying there, in plain sight.
Well that's a smart place to leave it..
Someone like Audrey would simply toss the remote where ever and then would have to enable a search team in order to locate it. Kyukaku was so much unlike her. He was much more organized and attentive. Most of the time, Audrey did not even know what day it was. But it didn't matter. The love was all that mattered for each of them.
Sitting back on the couch and then reaching over to grab the remote, she fixed her skirt which had ridden up just a tad. Locating the POWER button on the remote, she pressed with her thumb, only to be startled by an extremely loud explosion coming from what seemed to be an old war film on the T.V. Audrey quickly dropped the remote and covered her ears, dropping the remote. She then looked down at it and stepped on the POWER button once more to turn it off.
Rolling her eyes, she picked up the remote once again and set it down on the end table. She could hear Kyu walking towards her and turned to him. She peered down at the plate he held in front of her and made a childish statement, which she found to be adorable.
"Aaw, poor baby," she frowned and gently glided her face up and down on the side of his face. Standing up and walking over to him, she took the plate and placed it on the table. Turning back to him, she literally jumped on him and kissed him passionately. She couldn't explain why she just jumped on him, maybe it was simply the fact that he tried to do something so simple for her and failed that just made her go all jkhdfsjdf.
Pulling back, she placed a small kiss on his forehead and gazed into his eyes, "I love you."

(OOC: Cough. I'm here.)
Breaking his train of thoughts were the sounds of guerilla warfare. Kyukaku turned his head towards Audrey, seeing the poor girl flip out and drop the remote, proceding to step on it. The way she reacted you would swear she lit something on fire and was stomping the flames. Kyukaku grinned at his lover, proceding to walk towards her.
Offering the plates, Audrey seemed to go along with his tone. She took the plates from him, setting them down on the table. He doubted they'd end up eating them, and given her next action, he hoped he would be right after all. She immediately jumped on him, catching him off guard. He stumbled back, his hands moving towards her thighs to catch her. Falling to a sitting position on the couch.
She began to kiss him, Kyukaku more than happy to return the favor. Unlike many other flavor of the weeks, Audrey's kiss had the same impact upon him as their first night last Christmas. It had the same spark, not fading with time or the usual growing accustom to one another. His let hand moved to her lower back as his right hand went to her neck, pushing the hair away as he continued to kiss her. She pulled away, following up the one-two combination with a kiss to the forehead. Kyukaku smiled at Audrey, sliding his right hand down to her chin and lightly brushing his thumb over her lips.
"I could say the same back to you, but it would be a hell of an understatement."

(( OOC || Fashionably late, as always. ))
With Kyu near, a smile was never a stranger to Audrey's face. Being with him always made her feel like she was the most important person in the room. In the state. In the world. In his life.
She gazed deeply into his eyes as she felt the smoothness of his thumb run over her full, pouting lips. He was always such a sweet-talker. His suave and calm demeanor could and most likely wants to lead down the path of some possible bedroom action. It's true that Audrey sometimes could not contain herself, being in the presence of her lover, but this time she felt that she should try to hold back some.
Placing her hands on her thighs, she peered down at her lovers' crotch area. She sighed lightly then stood up once again. Tugging at the bottom of her skirt she spoke, "No matter how bad I want it, I won't let it happen." She then seated herself to his right, reaching for his arm and tugging it close to her. She leaned her head against his shoulder and laid a soft kiss against his neck.
"So what do you want to do, hm?"
Audrey very well knew she could tease him to the point that he would just completely lose it and beg her for more. She just had that sort of talent. But she rather let Kyukaku take advantage of this moment, and see where he would lead it.

Audrey's eyes gazed over Kyukaku's body, causing the male student to widen his eyes several times in gesture that he recognized what she was doing. Teasing as usual, Audrey sighed and stood up, fixing her skirt and voicing her self-control.
"What?" Kyukaku asked, turning his head towards her as she sat at his side.
"Why not?"
In response to his confusion, Audrey tugged on his arm. She kissed Kyukaku's neck, causing him to smirk from the tickling sensation. Kyukaku placed his right hand on Audrey's left thigh. As Audrey leaned her head against his shoulder, Kyukaku tilted his head to lean upon hers in response. Given her statement when she got up, Kyukaku was positive she was teasing and expecting this to go somewhere else. Of course it was what he wanted too, but he couldn't just surrender and let her win everytime, could he?
"Hmm...whatever you want to do." Kyukaku grinned, lifting his head off hers and turning to look at her. "That's the right answer, isn't it?"
