ooc: I'm aware this is kinda late in the method of things, but I figure I'd be best off arranging a room-mate for myself before going onto other storylines. As such, this takes place at the same time as the Varron students arrived. Thanks ^^. Whilst it might seem otherwise, this is open to Hircine students as well, considering some might have been moved around in the chaos of the transfer.
ic:
His room had been empty for close to four months now. His room-mate having transferred schools when his family had apparently called him back for a family emergency. Never having had returned, a small letter had arrived around three weeks into the absence that stated he'd decided to move back home and join a new school. Well, needless to say, this hadn't been of any real problem to the young man. It gave him more privacy than before, and the luxury of a double-occupant room to himself until the school found someone else for him to bunk with. Add to that, the few belongings his former roomie had left behind, his TV and a few other bits and pieces, were now effectively Williams to command. The TV, needless to say, found a home in the kitchen as his larger set dominated the main area of the living room, the couches, a gift from his mother, were remarkably better condition than the ones that had been there in the first place. With a little persuasion, he had managed to get the concierges of the buildings to find another room that needed them, letting the second-hand but exceptionally comfortable leather seats add a bit more comfort to the room.
Aside from the standard trappings of a few years in the same rooms, there were little other changes to the dorm room. The kitchen was almost exactly as he'd found it when he'd arrived at the school, the only exception being his blender, the balcony that led out to a view over the area, including the school itself, was perhaps the most changed thing of all. He'd wired a small cooler up to an electrical line from the nearby living room, the same one where his phone would have sat, and it now spent its days outside holding an assortment of sodas, bottles of water, and if he was feeling particularly adventurous, beer when he could acquire it.
However, with the arrival of the Varron students, he was faced with the likelihood of having to share the domicile once again. He'd received a letter a few days ago informing him that someone had been elected to take the former room-mates place, and they were due to arrive today at some point or another. It didn't particularly faze him, surprisingly. Unlike most of the Hircine students, he was quite intrigued by the idea of the new students, almost looked forward to the concept of having one of them roomed with him.
Thus, sitting with his feet resting on the arm of the sofa, the music blaring from his PC in the corner of the room as he swigged a coke lightly, he gave only a primary glance over his shoulder when the door knocked, shutting the music down a little before yelling loudly.
"Come in!"
Upon the arrival of the new room-mate, he would quickly inspect them head to toe before swivelling in his chair, raising an eyebrow before asking one simple question...
"Hircine, or one of the newcomers...?"

(As I looked at the door of my new room I sighed deeply. Just great, not only to I have to come to this place. There is a very good chance I will be rooming with one of those hircine students who will try to cut my throat while I sleep. Well Hopefully this new room mate of mine won't be too much of a hassle. I thought to myself as I knocked on the door.
I was still inwardly pissed that we even ahd to come from varron to here. Back at varron it may not have been a good place, sure it was filled with assholes. Sure everywhere you went someone was fighting, people were killing, and of course there was always someone struggling for power, but at least it was a place I could call home.
In this new area I felt out of my comfort zone, that was something it seemed I would have to get used to. Hearing my roomates words i opened the door. All I had was my duffle bag filled with my clothes. Deep down in the duffle bag my twin rapiers were stashed. I was wearing my standard attire of a blue jean jacket with torn sleeves, a black muscle shirt, and a pair of blue jeans with the knees torn. My long red hair was tied into a ponytail with my blue bandana. Taking a few steps into the room i shut the door behind me)
"Newcomer, and you?"
(I asked him as i went and threw my stuff onto my bed. Coming back I looked my new roomate up and down. he must have been a hircine student since I had never seen him back at Varron, just great.)

ooc: Short, but you gave me little to work with.
"Do I look like I just got here...?"
His raised eyebrow was a simple enough addition to his remark, and whilst he was not terribly polite about it, he didn't go out of his way to remain sharp. Rising from his chair, he paused a moment or two and walked closer into the main floor of the living room, watching the new arrival as he set his stuff into the available bedroom. Upon a closer look, it was pretty obvious he was a newcomer. His look was conspicuous enough that even despite Williams less than interested attitude to the rest of Hircine, he would have likely noticed this guy.
"Welcome to Hircine, I suppose. I doubt you'll like it here any better than most. Still, the girls are cute enough."
Shrugging, he turned back to sit down at the PC, flicking on the music once more. He wasn't ruling out the conversation, but for the time being, the newcomer was going to have to start talking if he wanted his room-mate to show anything above mild disinterest.

(Hearing his words I smiled slightly, well at least it seemed my roomate wasn't some geeky kid, or even worse some kid who woudl just attack me. As he walked over to his PC, I went and grabbed a drink of water from the tap. Looking around at my new room I threw off my jean jacket and placed it on my bed.
Coming back into the main area I heard his words.)
"good, because I havn't gotten any poontang for a lil while"
(I said with a smile before downing the rest of my drink. Sitting over on the chair I looked over at my roommate, I then decided to get up and walk over to him. Extending my hand for a handshake I said)
"I'm Bruce Gills, former Varron student. Whats your name? Since we are going to be room mates and all"
(I gave him time to awnser and give me a handshake if he wanted to or not. afterwards I would then say)
"so if your a hircine student, how come you arn't trying to kill me already? as far as I have seen most hircine students despise us"

"You'll fit in just fine, the girls have two general categories here. Those who want to fuck the pillars, and everyone else. Try not to chase after the former. It's a waste of time...."
A few minutes passed without anything else, his fingers tapping out a few keys as he trawled a non-descript site along the lines of Youtube. It killed time for him, and he had nothing needing studied at the present time. Classes were up to date as he tended to be, it helped him remain more anonymous within the school, though that would soon be a thing of the past, he mused lightly. When the red-head approached again, offering his name and a handshake, he glanced up a moment...
"William Fletcher. Good to meet you, Bruce. As for not 'trying to kill you', as you put it...Well, I'm not quite in the same demographic as a lot of the Hircine students. Most of them are just little sheep that think a bunch of 'trouble-makers' from another school will disrupt their cute little system of 'order' and whatnot. The pillars are pretty much to thank for that, I suppose. However, you'll probably be glad to know that there's easily a few more out there who have their own free-will left in mind."
Raising an eyebrow as he spoke, he swivelled in his chair slightly before leaning back, folding one leg over the other loosely.
"Since I'm curious, what's the real deal with you lot, the transfers, I mean. What's your story, why are you all here...I'm sure the bullshit that got round the campus isn't worth paying attention to, so give me the real facts...."

(Smiling when he described the catogories of the girls I continued to listen. Hearing why he wasn't trying to kill me already felt almost like a weight off my shoulders. I then heard his question as he swiveled around in the chair. Walking over to the sink I refilled my glass of water and took a small sip before awnsering)
"well where to begin? At varron most of the rumours people have heard about are true, it's a hellhole for any kid who hates authority, anyone who is a ruthless killer. Or anyone who just loves to fight.
The reason we are here now is due to many reasons. One of those reasons would be due tot he fact that there were many students and graduates alike who tried to destroy our school, just to cause chaos. That's the main reason we are here, due tot hat and many other reason, like fighting all the time, the teachers were being beaten during class and shit liek that. Our school was shut down, and now we are here"
(I said with a small shrug of my shoulders before downing the rest of my drink)
"so what do you guys do here for fun? any good clubs or bars where we can go get some real drinks? cause it's been a hell of a long time since i've had any good whisky, or any good beer for that matter"
(I said with a smile as I leaned on the kitchen counter waiting for his response)

"In other words, society's rejects. Sounds about right...Well, this place has its own little groups of fighters, most of them are just so whipped by the school that they don't even know it, most of the time."
Standing, Will strode to the kitchenette without saying much after letting Bruce give his basic summation aside from his curt reply. Kicking open the fridge with a flick of his foot, he reached into a 24-case of Coke cans, pulling one of them out and underhanding one to the newcomer with a short pre-emptive nod. He wasn't a beer-drinker by any means. He'd drink it if the need arose or the mood, for that matter, but he was far more inclined towards spirits.
"Clubs round here will check I.D without mercy. You either need a damned good fake or to actually be of age to get anywhere in this area. Some of the liquor stores aren't too bad, depending on the clerks and whatnot. If you're after a drink, however, then I might be able to help out there...."
Opening a cupboard beside his head, he turned slightly and reached into it before fishing out a partly drunk bottle of Jack Daniels from behind a few packets of instant noodles and other easy foods he'd purchased, most with little intention of eating but because their packaging was large enough to discreetly hide the bottle if someone was nosing around in his cupboards. His previous room-mate had been the only other person who knew the location for that sole reason.
"I don't mind people hitting into the stuff, but you replace what you drink of mine, I'll do the same. Standard rules I ran here with the old room-mate. Food and all that crap, you buy your own, I buy mine. I get something you want then feel free to take it, but you'd better have the money to replace it, keeps things even."
He smirked very slightly, shaking his head with a sarcastic sigh before he took a long pull from his can, unscrewing the bottlecap and pouring a large measure of the Jack into the can, capping the bottle and sliding it along the counter toward Bruce. Swirling the liquids together, he spoke again with a snicker.
"'Least the cable bill won't be as expensive for me anymore..."

(Grabbing the can out of the air I continued to smile. Then when he pulled out the bottle of jack daniels I smiled even wider. Hearing his words I nodded)
"thats how it should be with roommates, and dunt worry I will be refilling the liqour cabinet quite a bit"
(I said to him with a friendly wink. I then opened the can of coke and took a long pull of it. Grabbing the bottle as he slid it on the counter towards me I uncapped it. Taking a shot I felt the fiery spirit pour down my throat. Grimacing slightly I smiled)
"ahhhh been a very long time since I have drinken jack"
(The taste was delicious to me since I used to live in the bars at varron. I then poured a good amount into my coke and shook it around. Capping the bottle again i slid it back to him)
"So before anything, do you have any type of liqours you like in particular or don't like, since we are roommates and all i figure I wouldn't get something that we both couldn't drink"
(I said to him with a smile as I took a swig from my coke and felt the taste of jack daniels burn at my throat slightly. It was too good)

( OOC: We know each other. We discussed this through PM, figured it'd be amusing. ^_^ )
It wasn't so much a skip as a mad dash down the dorm hallway, before it slowed to a bound or two. Aryn had a wide grin upon her face, her green eyes glinting even in the fluorescent light of the hall, her intent to find out whether Will had found a new roommate yet. Not to mention her visit was a bit of a surprise. Slowing to a stop, the short, dark red skirt swaying with the motion, the girl dragged her fingers briskly through her hair. It wasn't so much to fancy it up as a habit she had.
She didn't glance down to check whether the room was right, she knew it was.
Offering one enunciating hit on the door, she opened it and walked in, shutting the door behind her before calling out, her voice carrying as she turned to walk towards the kitchen. "Will, you manage to get yourself a roomie yet or do I have...to... Oh damn."
The sight of...well, someone new told her the half the story. As she glanced into the previously unoccupied room to see the edge of a duffel bag on the bed, the hole was filled. Shrugging her shoulders lightly, she turned her attention back as the newcomer took a shot of...Jack Daniels, as she saw the bottle upon the counter.
An eyebrow arched as a moment's distaste crossed her face at the poor English the guy presented. Cautious, not wanting to offend the guy at least, but still being blunt with her point, Aryn spoke, leaning decidedly more on her left leg. "Drank, if you'd rather not butcher the language... I'm Aryn, in any case. Glad to meet you..."
'I suppose..?' She finished in thought, not completely sure whether she was or was not. Time would definitely tell.
Tilting her head with a smirk, she gestured to the bottle of Jack. "May I, Will?"
Before his nod, she was already in the fridge, dragging out a can of coke and cracking it open with a familiar smile upon her face, side-stepping to get to the bottle of Jack. Taking a slow, appreciative sip of the coke before pouring in a fair measure of the whiskey, Aryn smirked, wondering whether this new guest was wondering why - other than the fact they obviously knew one another - she was acting so...familiar. Hopping up lightly, she set herself upon the counter, crossing her legs neatly, the skirt settling overtop her lean legs.
She was closer to William rather than the new guy, but it wasn't purposefully done, by any means. Tipping her can towards her friend, she took her first sip of the mix, murmuring lightly afterwards that it was, obviously, good stuff.

"Bruce, in case ye hadn't noticed, I'm Irish. I'll drink methylated spirits if the mood strikes..."
The raised eyebrow he returned lingered a moment with a smirk before the door opened again and a young woman bounded into the room. Now, there were a handful of people William allowed into his room, but there was just one who was gutsy enough to walk in without knocking. He smiled as he muttered to himself, tipping his can back a moment.
'This'll be amusing...'
Within moments, Aryn had already made a less than cordial introduction, and in the midst of approaching him, taking a coke from the fridge and some of the bourbon -which she had at least asked for- , he turned and placed the bottle back into the cupboard with a quick sigh as she hopped up onto the counter beside him. Aryn was...Well, she was a special case when it came to Will. She was the girl who somehow managed to get into his head, but without pushing her chances. She knew enough about him and how to push his buttons that he trusted her, even if it was still a little grudging, after the last year they'd known one another. She'd arrived for her Sophomore year, turning up a year after William arrived. The two had shared a class or two, and over time had gotten to talking.
Adding to the matter, whilst she was gorgeous, he was something of a jaded character when it came to the issue. He'd attended a dance or two with her, but his distant attitude had proven a hindrance in any romantic respect. They were close friends, perhaps the closest he had, and that was fine for him. Glancing as she took a seat next to him and crossed her legs, he turned back to Bruce with a slow shake of his head.
"Yeah, if I were to not get a room-mate today, Aryn had 'decided' she was going to come and move in. I'm still debating whether I should be relieved you showed up or-OW! Hey!"
The clip to the back of his head was enough for him to snicker quickly, glancing with a raised eyebrow at her and nudging her with his elbow. He knew she'd see it as a joke, the two had discussed it in passing once or twice after his old room-mate had left and considered the idea. The school had put their foot down, with no surprise, that if such a thing were to happen, under ANY circumstance, they would have to wait for after the transfer period to see how the rooms were re-allocated.
"So, aside from drinking my Jack and being annoyed you don't get to bunk up with me, what brought you up here...?"

(As i was siping on my drink and talking to my new roomate the door burst open. Turning to look at who was coming into the room I only watched as this gorgeous young girl walked in. Hearing her slightly insult my english I just smirked slightly and said nothing.
When she introduced herself as Aryn I smiled and inclined my head slightly)
"Bruce gills"
(I would reply and nothing else. Luckily for me she started to talk with William which gave me a chance to just sit back listen and drink my drink. As I sat there and listened I smiled slightly at this new girl. She seemed a little bit different, not many girls would come bounding into a room without knocking and start drinking with one of her friends and a completely random guy. This might get interesting, I thought to myself)

"Bruce Gills."
And then proceeded to make himself silent. This, of course, Aryn decided to make little mind to...for the first five minutes. There were other things gripping her attention, like...
"Yeah, if I were to not get a room-mate today, Aryn had 'decided' she was going to come and move in. I'm still debating whether I should be relieved you showed up or--"
Narrowing her eyes with a smirk, she flipped her hand behind his head, giving him a quick smack before she settled back.
"OW! Hey!"
Snickering as he nudged her, she raised the hand she'd hit him with to pat him on the shoulder, almost sarcastically. "Awww, I'm sorry, Will. That didn't hurt too much, did it?"
The smile on her face was almost smug...almost, as it was buried beneath the teasing humour she held. Raising her can as he questioned her, she swirled it slowly before taking a small sip.
"Mmm..." She murmured, deliberating on whether to be her normal cheeky self, or tone it down for the sake of the new kid...who, she noted, hadn't said anything.
'Ah, well...he'll have to get used to it sooner or later, I s'ppose...'
"Ah, you know, the usual hot and kinky sex was a good reason." Her tone made it obvious she wasn't serious, but would this 'Bruce Gills' notice? "Other than that, maaaybe I just wanted a chat or something. Too much to ask, on both counts?"
Grinning behind the can as she took another quick swallow, she lowered it to nudge him in return before turning her attention back to the new kid.
"Strong, silent type..? Or are you just not sure what to think here, Bruce?" She questioned lightly, no hint of malice in her tone, a shapely eyebrow raised as she asked.

Rubbing the spot she'd clipped with his free hand, he rolled his eyes a moment, tilting his head a touch before speaking.
"No' as much as I'd usually like, but I'm in no place t'complain, eh?"
His raised eyebrow directly challenged her to try and find a....suitable comeback she could use in lieu of the fact there was a newcomer to their particular brand of humour, at the same time taking a slow sip of his drink and letting his thoughts drift a moment. Just a moment, that was all...But Aryn had to say something to perk his ears.
Nudging her with an elbow, he turned enough on his leaning position to almost completely face her, making it clear that he was simply playing along with her words with the folded arms and the deadly serious voice...
"Jus' because ye decided t' sleep over a few times doesn't mean I'm yer man-candy, lass....And no, on nae account is it too much t'ask."
The slow, deliberate grin he poised as he responded was testament to both the serious and the humour in his voice. Whilst he was not about to describe some of the things the Jack Daniels nights had wrought, he knew to keep the lines drawn when it came to some things. Raising his eyebrows as he returned to the can, he glanced sidewards as Aryn spoke to Bruce, his attention on the newcomer to the school. He was, of course, completely used to Aryns manner and antics, on the other hand, the new guy might not be quite as accomodating.
'Best to find out now, wouldn't do well for him to stumble in on an inopportune evening...'
His smirk was hidden, and he was glad it was at that. Aryn would likely know the sort of things entering his head at the moment, though he quickly removed them as he waited to hear what the new guy had to say....

(hearing her talk I cotninued to say nothing except smile. I wasn't about to interupt in their conversation when it seemed like the two were having so much fun.
after a couple of minutes of her talking to william She suddenly turned to me and started talking again.)
"strong silent type?"
(I heard her ask, smiling I took a quick sip from my can)
"I am hardly the strong silent type my dear, I am merely getting used to my surroundings is all. Don't mind me, In a few days once I am settled in, you will have wished i was merely the strong silent type"
(I said with a friendly wink before taking another sip of my drink)

( OOC: Hey, sorry for taking so long. Had to do some digging in the earliest threads on the board, considering this thread is set back then... )
Will's first comment had her raising an eyebrow, just slightly, mirroring his own. In response to that challenge, she merely shrugged. "Mhm, you're not in any place to complain, that's right. Maybe if you're good enough, I'll hit you harder next time..."
She took another sip of the drink, leaning back slightly against the top cupboards and drumming her fingers against the countertop. She flashed a smile at her friend's serious reply, leaning forwards onto her palm as she took a quick sip to hide her laughter.
"Of course it does, Will." She quipped, tilting her head to the side with an expression of confidence. "I'm sure I could have you wrapped several times around my little finger, no problems. Besides, you're quite the tasty bit of man-candy. Unless, y'know, you've found someone better than me and want to be her man-candy...?"
She pouted, just for a few split seconds, before bursting out in a smile. "And if that's the case, how about a threesome?"
Her grin was open, and it looked as though she would be very....into, the idea of having a threesome. And she was, of course, not being afraid to try anything new and exciting.
"I am hardly the strong silent type my dear, I am merely getting used to my surroundings is all. Don't mind me, In a few days once I am settled in, you will have wished i was merely the strong silent type"
She turned back to Bruce, tilting her head almost quizzically at him. "Wished you were the strong, silent type? Naaah, that's doubtful. Unless, y'know, you happen to say the wrong thing at the wrong time. Will's been lucky on that, so far."
She ended that with a wink in Will's direction. She knew how to take care of herself, but even she doubted she could take on the big man...though it did seem to be an interesting prospect. Maybe sometime she'd ask.
Stretching her free arm out with a slight yawn, she cracked her neck quickly, the rapid movements causing a very audible, very satisfying set of sounds that had her sinking back against the cupboards, lazily taking another sip of the Jack and coke.
"So then, is it safe to say you're one of the Varron transfers?" She questioned, waiting until she got her reply before carrying on. "I don't see what the big hubabaloo is about you guys. Troubled school, troubled kids, but there's a few interesting ones. Those girls that pulled their little sarcastic bow...now that was fun to watch. Probably got themselves in deep, but I admire their little stunt. Silly Tiao had to go spoil their fun afterwards, though. Ah, well, I suppose for a Pillar, his feathers sure were ruffled...though, now that I think of it, that's how he's always been. At least it shows there's some intriguing people in there."
She grinned at the last thought, fully intending on at least watching all the ruckus from the side, if not join in and stir a few things up herself. Still, she waited for William and Bruce to join in, see what their thoughts were. She knew Will had an outlook similar to her...but she didn't quite know what Bruce's take on the whole situation was.

Rolling his eyes with a barely concealed smirk, he raised the drink to his lips a moment and tipped some of the liquor back, replying to Aryn a moment or two later as he sighed deeply. Even with the brief pause, he was almost certain of what she was going to say, considering she'd tossed the remark his way once or twice before in the past as per her archetypal methods of getting into his head.
"Only if ye're gonnae let me film it an' make a million dollars off eBay..."
He saved no other quip for the remark, simply making his words as simple and serious as he felt necessary before adding on, a little quieter with a muttered tone, "Though last I checked, you were the one wrapped around my fingers....".
He had intended to say it quietly enough that she would make it out, but that Bruce may not be able to. Not for any other reason than he wasn't one to speak so frivolously of genuine encounters. Despite that, he wasn't about to just let the remark be wasted and kept his eyes pointed down as he spoke, the can raised to his lips again as he spoke.
Bruce, on the other hand, simply set her off again, and with a faint chuckle, he set the can down beside himself on the counter and folded his arms loosely over his chest, giving a feigned head-shake at Aryns remark on him having been 'lucky so far' with a wry smirk at her. He could bench press over double her weight without so much as a sweat breaking, he knew outright that he could never even consider retaliating to her in any respect beyond horseplay. In that respect, whilst she had on one or two occasions hinted that she wanted to spar or just work out, he had declined in roundabout ways, changing the subject carefully to avoid offence.
A moment later, the tangent of the conversation changed swiftly to Bruce and the issue of the transfers. He'd been present the day they'd given their little show to them when they'd been summoned to the auditorium, having had lingered nearby and watch through a window. At that, he remembered the two girls that Aryn was speaking of, they'd given him a quick laugh with their outright attitude of 'fuck you' to the Hircine administration, and whilst he knew that they would have garnered some bad karma for it, it wasn't likely to do much else.
"I don't think I need tae explain my position here any further than is necessary, so I'll simply say this. Far's Varron an' Hircine is concerned, you lot have one mair t' yer numbers unless I see action otherwise. I can probably speak f'r Aryn in that case as well, but tell us, what's your standing?"

(letting them both talk I said nothing once again as i took another sip of my jack and coke. Smiling when aryn started talking about having a threesome with will and any other girl he had found, I looked back at aryn when she started talking about the varron transfers. Waiting for her to finish i took another swig of my drink before setting the can down.)
"As far as I see it at the moment, everyone is a potential threat. The first day I got to this school I was already in a fight. This school was supposed to be a new beginnning for many ofus varronites. Finally we were able to get away from all the violence and hate that polluted our old school. Instead we are met withe ven more hostility from the people who are supposed to be our saviours. Just for being different I was attacked at this school, so unless I know the person or at least know he isn't going to attack me, then I am always ready. Other then that i don't really have an outlook on this position that We are in"
(I said shrugging mys houdlers with a smile)

To his reply about making a film of it, she could only shrug her shoulders, her words as nonchalant as she'd meant them, though there was a seriousness hidden below the surface.
"Only if I get a percentage of the profits."
His uttered remark afterwards had her raising an eyebrow, a devilish smirk creeping onto her lips; it was obvious that Bruce hadn't heard it. Still, the moment passed quickly enough, along with her expression. When Will looked up at her again, his face holding a look of dry humour, she merely grinned and flexed an arm as she stuck her tongue out at him.
"Can't touch this...?" She said playfully, and though she didn't say it as a question, she meant it that way. Will would more than likely have something to say on it, and she took another sip of her drink as she lowered her arms.
Sipping her drink as Will spoke up about his side-taking with the Varron students, she tilted her head as a question was posed to Bruce on his standing in the whole thing.
The first few moments of his little ramble passed, and Aryn couldn't help her thoughts - but at least she didn't actually say them. 'Is it bad that all I hear is "Blahblahblah, I was attacked at this school just 'cause I was different blahblahblahblah I haven't been paying attention so I don't know this position I'm in"...? He doesn't even answer Will's question directly, but takes a roundabout way of saying "Yeah, I'mma ready for this punk-ass-biatch if he ever shows his face again--or anyone else for that matter, 'cause nobody's worth trusting" ...Some people...'
"Uh huh..." Aryn said, blinking as she took another sip. She spoke her thoughts, as she was prone to doing, but at least she toned them down to a more...courteous level. "You know, there would have been less - erm - confusion if you'd just summarized all that into a neat little package."
For the sake of not insulting his intelligence - 'However much his is, anyway...' - she refrained from making a further point to her statement and continued to calmly sip her Jack'n'Coke, which was already halfway done.

He gave something of an absent nod to Bruce as he spoke, unknowingly feeling somewhat akin to Aryn in that he spoke a lot, but seemed to say very little...Though he figured it was just the guys way of talking, he showed courtesy enough to listen and gave a response.
"The best way I'd suggest ye look at it, is like this. The Hircine student body's no' gonnae be the most welcomin' tae ye, but if ye keep yer heid down, odds are ye'll get less crap in time and all that. O' course, keep yer guard up. Chances are someone's likely t' take a dislike, I'm still gettin' that, an' I've been here two years."
His eyes flicked to Aryn as he re-registered what she'd said, stifling back a small laugh as he sipped from his can...He'd only partly heard her, due to slightly dazing out, but sure enough it chose to register at the worst possible moment. Swallowing the small mouthful of the drink, he coughed a little to clear his throat of the residual liquid that had choked him slightly and nodded.
"Like we agreed, thirty percent, plus half the merchandise profits."
Tossing back the last few drops in his can, taking the opportune moment to drain it without a smart-arsed remark from Aryn, he hopped down from the counter and pulled another can out of the fridge, cracking it open and repeating the procedure from before, adding some of the bourbon after taking a shot out the can. Glancing over his shoulder, he made a silent but very obvious offer to the others if they wanted another to say so now before he closed the fridge.

(Hearing aryns words I smiled)
"i'll take note of that my dear"
(I said with a little friendly wink. I then turned to william as he told me the rundown of the hircine student body. HWen he finished I smiled)
"good good, but i have a nagging feeling that I won't be keeping my head down too low, at least not until me and tiao have another friendly spar that is"
( i said before seeing him offer before he closed the firdge i opened my hand up and put it over my head to inform him to toss me a can. Once that was done I would open it, drain some of it and pour more bourbon into the can.
