Current appearance
Formal attire
Body: Ryou has a lean figure, with a bit of muscle, mostly centered on his legs and arms. He has a scar on his left upper arm when he fell down and cut himself badly when he was 10 years old. His skin is lightly tanned.
Cosmetic: Ryou wears simple clothes, he doesn't like flashy clothes that much. He usually wears jeans, a shirt with a logo on the front, and a jacket or hoodie. He sometimes wears a jacket with fur on the collar, but this is usually in the fall or winter season. The only time that'll he'll ever wear formal clothing, is when he has to. His hair colour is natural, it's never been dyed before.
Eye color: Black/Light Brown, it'll only turn this color if the sunlight shines on his face.
Hair: Medium spiky brown hair, he makes sure to get it cut when it gets long, it turns a light brown if he's facing the sun.
Habits: He has a habit of daydreaming, in and out of school. He'll usually stare out the window, not paying much attention to what's happening.
Personality: Ryou is sometimes sarcastic and cynical, mainly his remarks, but despite that, he is friendly in and out of school. He will become serious though if the situation calls for it. He's also very level-headed, he rarely panics in a situation. He's also very calculating and smart, he will calmly analyze a situation and give his opinion if needed, which is usally wise and thought out. He's also very patient, he usually won't rush into things, he'd rather bide his time and wait for a more opportune time to move in and strike.
He tends to be very wary since he doesn't completely trust someone but he's very loyal to those who earn his trust or respect. He's not a troublemaker, but that's not to say he follows the rules all the time, especially when it comes to computer hacking. He's also a bit rebellious, having locked it away for his mother's sake, though when he entered Hircine, it resurfaced, in full force. He loves his sister very much, though when she teases him, he'll either tease her back or just shake his head in exasperation.
He doesn't get angry very often, usually if someone glares at him or confronts him, he'd usually just smile to infuriate the person or just ignore them. If he's pushed too far however, he will strike and never relent, but he'd restrain enough to leave the person alive, unless the situation becomes very dire. He can also hold his own when faced in a fight or a tight situation.
Hobbies: Ryou loves to read manga, and his bookshelves are filled with manga. He also loves to listen to music, so he carries his mp3 player with him wherever he goes. The shelf near his stereo is filled with CD's, mostly Japanese singers, and a few English CD's. He also loves to play video games, mostly RPG's, Action, or Fighting games.
He also has a secret hobby, he's a computer hacker, he can hack into fairly well guarded files, but heavily guarded files give him a bit of trouble. He found this skill when he was at his computer one day and accidentally hacked into his father's patient files, which are now stored in his computer at home.
Extracurricular: Ryou is the captain of the basketball team.
History: Ryou was born into a well-off family. His parents weren't very rich, but they did have money to pay the bills. He was the first-born son, older than his sister by only a year. His father, Trevor Jackson, was a surgeon working in one of San Francisco's well-known hospitals. He was recommended to many through the patients he helped, because he was kind and helpful to them in their time of ordeal and helped them as much as he could. It was through one of his patients that he met his wife and Ryou's mother, Megumi Ayaka. They fell in love with each other at first sight but Megumi at first was afraid to marry Trevor, because she had a weak body, but Trevor loved her regardless and despite that, they got married, and 5 years later, Megumi gave birth to their first-born son, Ryou. A year later, his sister Amy was born. Both of his parents loved Ryou and Amy, but they were tough in their discipline, so that neither Ryou or Amy would grow up naive. As a result, both of them hardly got in trouble, but Ryou however, had a slightly rebellious attitude, though he never showed it until he entered high school. His father taught them both to always be friendly, but never naive. He told them that the world is a tough and cruel place, and never trust someone completely. When Ryou turned 5, his father enrolled him in a martial arts dojo, so that Ryou would be able to defend himself if needed. He went to the dojo everyday until he entered high school, which is when he stopped going. Despite she wasn't as strong as the rest of her family, all four of them would go out on the weekends, as a typical happy normal family would.
Tragedy however, would strike the happy family early in Ryou's life. His mother always had a weak body, so more often then ever, Ryou and Amy would come home only to find their mother collapsed on the floor. When Ryou turned 7, his life took a dramatic change. His mother grew seriously ill and was forced to stay in the hospital for her own health. Ryou and Amy would visit her everyday, worried about her, but their mother would always smile weakly at them and tell them not to worry. One day, when Ryou and Amy visited, his mother asked to speak with Ryou alone. She took Ryou's hand with her own trembling hands, and told him to look out for Amy and take care of her. She also told him not worry about her, even though she was in the hospital. At first Ryou didn't know what to make of this statement, he always watched out for Amy, and he couldn't help but worry about his own mother, even though he had other things to worry about. Despite his father's best efforts to help their mother, she passed away. A funeral was quickly arranged, and all three of them, along with friends and family attended it. This event changed Ryou forever, he was forced to mature quickly, leaving him sarcastic and cynical as he grew up, while Amy took on the mother role in Ryou's life, since their father was busy with his job to support the both of them, and they only saw him when he came home at night. As a result, the two siblings grew close, taking care of and watching out for each other. Throughout elementary school, although both of them had their own group of friends, it didn't stop them from watching out for each other. When Ryou was 10 years old, he tripped on a tree root and cut his left arm badly on a broken piece of glass when he was walking home from school with Amy. They quickly went home, and Amy cleaned the wound and bandaged it up. Although the wound healed, the scar still remains on his left arm.
When he turned 14, Ryou was enrolled in Hircine High, before the Varron transfers arrived. He didn't really care that they had come, to him, they were just another group of students, no different from the people in Hircine. Although his sarcastic and cynical remarks tend to drive people away, once some got to know him, they became his friends for the rest of highschool. He joined the basketball team as soon as the opportunity arose, and became the captain of the team in his sophomore year. Despite the fact the he hasn't caused any trouble in the school, Ryou has been looking for an opportunity to try out his hacking skills, since he only hacked his father's patient files, and Hircine seems the perfect place to start. He's been biding his time, waiting for the righ opportunity, and with so many students in the school now, this seems the best time for him to do so.
Fighting style: Ryou is a karate-user, so he mostly relies on defense, speed, and counterattacks. He has enough strength in both his arms and legs to inflict some damage, but not enough that he'll KO his opponent. He'll defend and block his opponent's attack, or dodge the attack if he can, and counterattack with his own attacks.
Strengths: Ryou has high stamina, he can fight as long as he doesn't pass out. He's also very agile, so he can dodge attacks if he is able to. His punches and kicks are very quick, giving him a good chance to incapacitate his opponent.
Weaknesses: Ryou has a good amount of strength, but it's not enough to inflict damage if he's faced with a large opponent who has more strength than him. Although his attacks may be fast, there's a high probability that he won't inflict much pain or injuries.
Even with his high stamina, he'll become exhausted overtime if the battle wears on for a long period of time. Also, if all he does is dodge attacks, he'll eventually get tired.

Amy is about medium height, not tall like her brother, but she isn't short either, she's about 5'4. She's about average weight for a girl. She's lightly tan, a bit darker than her brother. Amy likes to wear simple clothes, nothing flashy, usually jeans and a blouse or very short sleeved shirts. She'll sometimes wear skirts, if the weather is nice, or in spring and summer. She'll only wear formal clothing if she has to.
Personality: She became the mother figure when their mother passed away when she was young, so she was forced to mature quickly. She loves Ryou very much, but doesn't stop her from teasing him like there's no tomorrow. She's friendly in school, but she too has a rebellious streak like her brother, having been forced to lock it away, it only recently resurfaced when she entered high school. She can be sarcastic at times, and she teases her friends too, but it's friendly teasing, something her friends know too well. She's smart and sharp, if anyone tried to pull a fast one on her, she'd know instantly. She's out-going as well, she's not afraid to voice her opinion, something she's done very often.
She can be very competive too, which formed rivals in her class, much to her delight and chagrine. She has a small group of friends, because like Ryou, she never trusts someone completely, but she cherishes her friends very much, and is very loyal to them, she would defend them at any time.
