Fuck me. So this is Paragon Institute?Conner D. McGrath, former Horseman of War in Revelation, took his first steps into his new school. He was transferred here at the very beginning with everyone else, yet thanks to a certain student, now known to be one of the Pillars at Hircine High. Thanks to that little cunt, Conner's leg injury from Gilsin had gotten more severe. So even though he'd get over his concussion relatively soon, he had to get surgery on the ligaments in his calf. It certainly sucked, but he's better off now than he was then, that's for sure. Conner walked through the halls, knowing almost nothing about this new school. Seth and Mae had been transferred here back then too, but he thought he heard Seth was back at Hircine now. That left Mae Lim, probably the only person Conner would know here. Oh well, if he couldn't find Mae Lim to get on her nerves, he'd find someone new to beat on. In a school where you were encouraged to do so, Conner wouldn't want to dissapoint by behaving, now would he? As he continued on, Conner found himself becomming more dissapointed with every step. His preconceptions of anarchy, blood, and violence seemed to have been misplaced. Conner saw absolutely nothing going on. Hell, more had happened at Hircine last year than what was going on here now. The only difference between Hircine and Paragon as far as Conner could tell, was a dirty floor. Never one to bottle his displease, Conner picked up a locker (a trick that he didn't know had already been used here a few weeks back) and tossed it down the hall into the center of a group of other students. He didn't know who they were, and he didn't care. He just wanted to spur a reaction. "This place sucks! You guys suck! Did you guys gain a reputation by being damn pigs!? Jesus Christ, someone throw a punch already!"

strolling down the boring halls half asleep Antonio turned a corner and was almost killed by the locker flying through the crowd of student he screamed "WHO THE FUCK!??!", and looked around seeing a very unfamiliar face, he then looked back toward the crowd to see a group of freshman helping out one of there classmates who had gotten hit by the locker, blood was rushing down his face from his cheek and nose.
a slight smile emerged onto Antonio's face as he began to chuckle in a very low and menacing way, the group of freshman looked toward him and started screaming and cursing blaming him for the locker, Thats when his smile grew bigger with a loud shout Antonio ran toward the freshman and did a low sweep kick knocking three over he then swung back up and was greeted by a fist to the side of his face from another freshman

Vince wouldn't be in time to witness or stop the first or second attacks. But he would know the voice and the arrogant lout attached to it. Perhaps it was because of the injuries inflicted upon one another by this and another giant that the Mouth would show up.
But the better reason was Vince had managed to keep this small section of the school of arrogant and ignorant from beating each other for no reason for more than five seconds before Conner had shown up.
The cool voice would shoot out, a bullet aimed squarely at the ego of the large man that had just thrown a locker. Which, interestingly enough was weakest in the right leg. leg.
"Still limping about eh? Why did you hobble your ass over here though?"
Vince would sneer slightly after he spoke, he knew enough to know that he could expect Connor to start moving towards him in a rather pissed off manner shortly after his words. That wasn't even a variable in this little equation.
The only unknown was the student that haphazardly rushed headlong to comply with Conner's requests. If things went as expected, Vince could face two opponents to one. If he didn't turn the two on each other first.

"Good to be back in school I guess, but seriously, What the hell. This school is pretty damn boring. Nothing fun, no life and the halls are kind of dirty...Fuck this place."
Santiago said to himself as he walked down the empty hallway, his stroll was slow and casual as he looked around observing his surroundings. He felt a strong aura of boredom consume him as he walked, wishing for something interesting to spring up, he wasn't aware that his prayers would be answered by the likes of another student. Hearing a loud crash he picked his pace up and turned the corner of the hall to see a smashed up locker and an injured being propped-up by his friends...
"Seems I'm not the only who thinks this school needs some atmosphere, some need to find a way to vent their boredom, though this is a nice little stir-up as opposed to the relative peace that seems to have this place in a choke-hold."
Re-tracing the assumed trajectory of the locker, Santiago noticed a student bitching about how much he hated Paragon, he also noticed another student rushing at the group helping the staggering freshman, seeing that student begin an assault on the group, Santiago rushed in, but before he could do anything the assailant received damage. Pausing a second he looked back at the student whom he assumed tossed the locker, Santiago yelled....
"Dude you need to find something better to do then toss lockers around, you could hurt some people seriously. Jail ain't a fun place to be just cause your bored, find something else to hit on."
not taking his attention off the student, he could see another person in his peripheral vision, but he was a little more concerned about the other two students who were in the destructive mood.
"Let's see how this situation moves along."

Antonio recovered from the blow took the kid and threw him against a wall and kneed him in the stomach and crack him with his fist in the back of his head causing his opponent to fall to the floor onconscience, he then turned to the student talking and replyd "it wasn't me jackass, now either help me or shut the hell up and fight me", with that Antonio ran up to his next opponent and did a jumping back kick sending the small freshman flying into two others that were still trying to help up there fallen classmate, ~enough was enough~ Antonio thought to himself, as he turned around and the white of his contacts reflected on the light making them have a sort of not only deeper white but a wierd shine , making him appear completely demented, he started walking toward Santiago , who would either apologize or face his anger, Antonio hated all arogance and all interferance in his personal business and nothing would stand in his way, with that he ran toward santiago full speed as everything around him became a blur. the lockers the few remaining students in the halls all become a nothing as his view became soley on Santiago and his anger took the best of him as he got within range he jumped up and did a flying side kick toward santiago......

"Uh, alright?"
Conner said to himself, surprised at how fast his influence spread. In a matter of seconds a student idly walking by jumped in and attacked. Either Conner was a magician, or these kids were easier manipulated than well... a Genaht member. Oho! And speak of the devil, here comes one of their homeboys now. Unlike Vince might have presumed, Conner whipped around to face him, not angry, but grinning wildly. It was about time he saw someone he knew.
"Still talkin' smack, huh? Oh, no shit! You have to talk double since your fearless leader can't do anything but babble like a moron. But don't blame me, it wasn't my...oh wait, it WAS my fault, wasn't it?"
Someone else had shown up then, but Conner wasn't sure who he was talking to. Soon enough, it didn't matter, as that weird kid from earlier suddenly jumped him. Maybe he could be Conner's sidekick from now on. Someone to throw at the dogs when he wanted to walk around them. Shrugging, Conner turned back towards Vince as he clasped his hands in front of him, pleading with the man in front of him.
"Please, please, try and hit me Vince. I'm really looking for a laugh today."

Vince would grin, though it would certainly be lessened slightly by the insult. Still in this battle of words Vince had little to fear. He wasn't the one to be provoked into fights. He was the provoker.
"Oh I'd love to, but I think the handicapped should always have the first strike. Here, I'll walk forward afew steps so you don't get too tired."
Vince would do as he said, taking a few paces forward, but still staying out of direct range with Conner. He wasn't a stupid person, he needed to see how bad the old injury hindered him and more importantly the Mouth didn't have much of a chance if he ran headlong into the Horseman of War.
Probably the best weapon Vince had at the moment was that annoying little smirk that had sent previous men into a rage. That and the words that followed.
"In anycase, I still don't know why you're here. Is it because the big bad man that hurt you more is over at Hircine?"

(OOC: I guess no one else wants to post first.)
Conner smirked the smallest of smirks in comparison to his usually wide-toothed grin. It seemed Vince was under the assumption that Conner's leg was still badly damaged. It was too bad the gang member would be relying on that. There had been a reason Conner was gone for so long, with the surgery and what not. While it wasn't as good as it was, it just made his lower left leg move a bit slower. As far as he could tell, the only way it would hurt like it had was if it would be cut open again.
Not that Vince could have beat the injured him, either.
"Shut the hell up. That goofy looking pillar will get his for what he did. Next time he won't have the handicap. If I were you, I'd worry about myself. Shit, if you're still walking around with that damn look on your face, then I was dead on about this place being weak sauce. That must be why I was transferred here. So they can get a real School Captain. What do you think Vin, Captain o' Conner sound as good to you as it does to me?"

It was becoming more and more apparent that Connor's injuries taught him to be so stupid when it came to fighting and more importantly that he shouldn't run charging at the drop of a hat. That was certainly good in Connor's case and probably even betting for Vince.
Once he heard the large man's want for Captainship his mind clicked into place and his grin widened further. He even laughed, putting a mockery to the idea. It'd be enough to get the Connor agitated Vince would hope, all he really needed to do was guide that anger towards the right person.
"This is going to be great! You'll fight the Captain and get your ass beat!"
Vince would chuckle abit more and then shake his head. He'd feed Connor the information and see what would happen from there. Vince honestly was rather sure Connor could be Tai Yang, but he really didn't care one way or another. He'd rather beat the winner right after the fight and then claim the Captainship for himself. He could deal with the upset victor afterwards.
Even then the pair would probably strike at eachother just as eagerly as they might at Vince.
"Tell you what, his ego is about as big as yours. Just go yelling you're the new captain and you'll find him. Just call me when you do. It's always fun to watch buildings fall over."

"I guess you not only have a big mouth, but big balls to be laughing like that, shit stain."
Whatever restraint it seemed Conner had been using previously flew out the door, the Horseman of War ready saddle up and gallop away. Conner clenched his teeth, his fists following suitely as he swung his arm back in preparation to slam it into Vince's face. He hesitated, however, when Vince continued. The Mouth of Genaht couldn't seem to close today as he continued to feed Conner more information. He probably thought Conner was too stupid to know that it was probably a trap of some sort. Ah, whatever. Vince was probably right--no need to try and overthink things, right?
"Fine, then."
Conner spoke harshly to Vince before flashing a fake smile, only to be replaced by his usual cocky grin. Conner would step toward Vince and make a 180 spin, placing himself next to Vince as he put his arm around the other student's shoulders.
"Alright Paramount Institute! I'm Conner D. McGrath, the new Captain of Para--no, better yet. I'm Conner D. McGrath, Captain of the whole San Fransisco school district. This here is my pillar, Vince, formerly known as the cock-gobbler of Genaht!"

"A fag for your Pillar? Oh, I'm terrified now. A gimp and a gay, you two sure make a fantastic team." Emphasising the word 'Fantastic' with a change of voice, and a wave of a limpy hand he acted as gay as he believed them both to be. Standing just down the hall from the group he laughed to himself, then tossed his head back and laughed out loud at the group. As his laughter began to settle down his eyes trailed back to the Captain of the Fags, a smirk widely spread across his face.
"Well, as we have it the Real Captain Of Paragon is here. And I suppose you want a go at the title, right Mr. Metro?" Taking a few steps forward he let his boots lightly glide across the tile floor, as though he was already prepared to engage any student around him within a moment's notice. Having left his leather jacket in his locker, which was down at the end of the hall past the transfer student and the 'cock-gobbler', it was more of a conincidence that he was here, rather then fate.
"I wonder if you know just how strong a hit from me is. Actually, lets give you a test. What would you say is the strongest punch? From any martial art, whether it's Kung-fu, Karate, or even the westernized sport of Boxing. What's your answer, crip."
Walking forward he stopped just shy of ten feet from the gathered group, standing their with his body square to them. Both hands were down by his side, however his left thumb was looped within the waist of the pants. His darkened, toned arms showing off the fruits of his training as the muscles naturally flexed from the soft bend.
"Well, thought it through yet?"

Santiago stood back quietly as both men argued rigorously, all he could do was laugh heartily as they went at it, in his mind he was just listening to them verbally abuse the shit out of each other, (this is better then Def comedy jam.) "Hah." was heard as Santiago watched the argument heat-up, both seemed ready for a confrontation, but they seemed to be evaluating the circumstances. Whatever they were thinking about it was cut short, the crippled student who's name seemed to be Conner dashed forward and with a clenched fist readied for an attack.
Yet at that very moment his demeanor changed and he no longer was attacking, but merely approaching, it seemed he had found more use in the student's babbling then he thought. The assailant stopped in his tracks and put his arm around the other student's shoulder, acting like they were chums. Santiago just laughed at them and decided to stay and enjoy for a little longer, after hearing Conner make a remark on his opponents sexuality, he was sure that they would get into a fight, but to no avail. To his surprise, one more person come out of the wood-work, as he announced himself with a laugh Santiago simply watched as he made his way near him.
(Seems he's the Captain of this place, fucking A. This place is just a magnet for Odd-balls and anger management cases. Whatever....) Throwing his arms up at the thought he leaned against some lockers and watched as the school's captain went on about wanting to defend his title against his would-be challengers. Since Santiago was present for the gentleman's conversation, he interjected, "They're more concerned with their own little grudge match, since one is a soldier and the other wants to make his name known...Don't get your panties in a bunch, I don't think anyone here wants a fight."
Standing against the lockers, Santiago wasn't hoping for a physical engagement, but he was ready to defend himself, should he have to. He just watched the group as the events unfolded further, he was excited to see what would happen, though his excitement was hidden behind his calm stoic face.

(OOC: Was waiting for Vince, but whatev. Also, its to be noted that unless you know Conner's history IC, its not that easy to spot his slight handicap. He has a bit slower movement on the leg; he's not crippled.)
What a faggot.
Conner willingly showed the disgust on his face, watching with dismay as the blackanese captain ran his mouth as much as he did, albeit not as cleverly, of course. Captain Blackanese went on to talk AT Conner about the philosophy of the martial arts, as if he gave a damn. If Conner knew much more than simple physical violence, he may have been able to give a more accurate answer like 'it doesn't necessarily matter on the style as much as the person', but of course, that wasn't Conner. So instead--
"Sorry pal, I'm not looking to have a conversation about the power of your fistings."
Before anything else could be said, as there was always more to be said from the Horseman of War, the hispanic student spoke up, seemingly trying to defuse the situation. Ha, difusing the situation. Did he know where he was? Hell, maybe that wasn't that good of a question, as this place seemed wimpy enough. No, a more accurate question would be if he knew who he was talking to.
"Not so fast, holmes." Conner started, holding a hand up to Santiago without looking away from Captain Blackanese.
"It seems Blacky over here wants a bit of tough loving, and who am I, the new student here, to disagree? Tell you what, bitch, why dont you take the first shot?" Conner put his hands on the back of his head, staring at Tai Yang lazily as he laced his fingers, preparing to take a nap.

"The first shot? Well, if you insist I'll go ahead and sever the connection between your brain and body." Taking two steps forward he unhooked his thumb from the loop of his belt, slowly curling his hands into loose fists. Taking two more steps he was nearly within striking distance, his left hand held down by his waist in front of him.
"The answer to my question, a punch that can't be seen is the strongest punch. I'll show it to you, should you wish." Despite the irony of the words, the two sentences contradicting one another, Tai Yang raised his left arm, keeping it bent with his fist leveled with his shoulder.
Lifting the heels of his boots off the floor he leaned forward and applied a good majority of his weight to his front foot. With his weight displacement at about 70/30 from front to back he pushed off with his back foot, sliding forward while raising up off of his left foot, striking out with blinding speed as his left fist fired off up toward the cleanly exposed chin.
While he constantly boasted about his speed, his punch still wasn't perfect. It was fast, incredibly fast, and supported a good deal of his weight. But the eye could still track it, should the reflexes be fast enough it was still avoidable. But, that's where his right hand came into play, and still remained chambered by his by his left shoulder.

Grinning wildly, Conner kept his hands behind his head, arrogantly awaiting Tai Yang's approach. It didn't take much to goad this one into attacking him which to Conner, was awesome. He was getting real tired of those that talked big yet never took a swing at him. Have you ever tried to beat someones ass when all they did was run away? It's a real ass dragger.
Tai Yang was definately much faster than Conner, though that wasn't going to be anything new to the former Revelation Horseman. However, despite his words and stance, Conner had no intention of giving away a free shot. Such a thing was most certainly cheap but hell, who cares?
As Tai Yang burst forward to close the gap to get into his striking range, Conner slid forward with his own right foot, stepping in towards the center of Tai's body. With Tai Yang's body moving in as well, they would seemingly be heading for a collision. Intending on such a thing, Conner turned his hips to the left as he moved in. Still holding his hands behind his head, Conner's right elbow would jab down directly into Tai Yang's left eye socket, hopefully causing severe damage.
Now, Tai's speed in addition to Conner moving in to intercept it meant two things: First, it meant that with Tai's momentum already directed forward would make it near impossible to dodge, as well as having the elbow come from inside his outgoing punch making it also near impossible to block. All in all, it looked like a pretty sure hit to Conner. Second, though, meant that the punch Conner had barely seen coming was also pretty unavoidable. Thankfully, it would end up striking somewhere between his bicep, shoulder, and side of his head. Sixty some pounds lighter wouldn't make it such a powerful hit, but it would still find its mark albeit not so cleanly.
If all went accordingly, Conner's hands would snap down from the elbows, gripping tightly the hair on the back of Tai Yang's head. From there, he'd rip down harshly, snagging the head down as he'd fire knees into his face over, and over again.

'Don't Blink.'
If he had the time he would've smiled, but in the time it would take to smile he'd already be finished his attack, the mere motion of closing your eyes would be all it took for his speed to destroy his opponents. But, that wasn't the speed he had shown with his left hand, his dominant hand was his right, and was just that much faster.
Conners forward motion was noticed by the young, smaller man just before he was to push up off his front foot for that final bit of added speed, power, and weight behind his punch. It was actions such as this that he didn't shorten his stance, and still left a good portion of weight on his back foot. Reacting in regardless to the slide forward he pushed off with both legs, twisting his hips over as he extended his right leg and leaned over to his left.
Now it seemed like a suicide movement, moving in towards the forward side of the much heavier opponent, but Tai Yang saw it as an opportunity to push the thrill of the fight, near misses and glances were exciting, especially when the strength advantage was so greatly in the others favour.
He still snapped out his left fist, but it was a much shorter punch then he had begun with. Having extended his arm he twisted his elbow out at a slight angle before throwing his arm out to the side while twisting his body over. Keeping his body low he'd pass under the dropping elbow while his right fist was sent out from it's chambered position. His right arm would remained bent upon impact, despite the obvious boxing attempt of pushing through for more power.
Of course, for this punch he took his eyes off his opponent, but was confident in his precision and speed. Yes, there was a massive weight difference, but his striking strength was top notch. His used an old formula for his power, which goes SpeedXMass=Force. His mass was small, but his speed exceeded that. Then, there was his technique, which in this case seemed like a counter, but to that of a jab - in Boxing idiology as Conner was attacking with his front side. He also tensed his right shoulder, elbow, and wrist upon impact - or at least that's what he'd try to do. He heard of it from a manga called Baki The Grappler, and the technique was suppose to transfer his force and momentum straight into his opponent. While the Hero used it on his opponent's stomach, Tai Yang thought the same principle would apply to the head - or more directly the chin.
(It's a tad bit late, and I did just get off shift from the mill. So yeah, problems, concerns, thoughts, etc etc, anything needing answered just PM me.)

ooc: One thing I noticed Tai, you ducked and then appeared to state your punch was at conner's chin. Bit confusing.
Vince would only grumble as Tai and Connor began they're little verbal war. He would merely step back from the encroaching fight and keep quiet. He needed to disappear at this point, keep a low profile and make sure to keep his eyes on the fight.
He wouldn't worry about helping Connor for the most part, the man was a brute of the highest order, it would take alot to take him down and more importantly, Vince wasn't convinced Tai would be able to accomplish such a task.
So for now, He would wait. Casually waiting for the opportunity or the requirement for his intervention. If either reared it's head Vince would be sure to take advantage. Connor might not need the help, but it'd be nice to be rid of Tai, if only temporarily.

(OOC: Upward angled punch, methinks.)
Conner's movement on his right leg must have been slower than he had thought it would be, as Tai Yang was still able to see the attack coming, ducking and weaving to avoid it. The initial punch from Tai Yang, however, would be much less powerful than Conner was expecting. Tai pulled the punch a bit in order to evade Conner's elbow, resulting in little more than a love tap to his shoulder.
As Tai ducked and weaved, Conner had no intention of standing still. He was all to familiar with what happened when he did that with these quick little bastards. Conner's right foot had already been planted, giving him a solid base, where as Tai had to re-establish his. After missing with his first elbow, Conner would torque hard back to the right, pointing his elbow to the outside. Although Conner wasn't nearly as fast as Tai, he had much less distance to cover. The elbow would hit just milliseconds before Tai's own punch, smacking into the unprotected right cheekbone.
By focusing completely on the offense, Conner would once again pay little attention to the follow up punch by Tai. Instead of striking his chin, though, the torque put into the elbow would turn Conner's head as well, tracking his own target as Tai's fist would smack into the left cheek of Conner. Fighting with his mouth partially open, the inside of Conner's cheek would be cut open on his teeth, causing a little bit of swelling. That alone spoke wonders about Tai's power, but thankfully it would look much worse than it was thanks to his smaller size and the power taken out for the smaller man's reach up to Conner's head, all the while being a blind strike.
Immediately following the combination, Conner would turn on the balls of his feet, going with the momentum of his elbow and Tai's punch. His left fist, kept unchecked the entire bout as of yet, would rise up from his waist, striking in a half-uppercut half-hook to Tai's unprotected right set of ribs.

The tinge of pain, the surge of lust, thats what Tai Yang felt as his opponent's elbow connected with the side of his face. His head torqued even further to his left, giving way to the much heavier limb as Conner turned back. What a simple and devestating tactic, why hadn't he thought of that? Perhaps it just didn't suit him, or maybe it was just to slow for his tastes. Either way, he got caught, and he loved it.
You see it all the time in movies, how the hero takes a blow and somehow spins around in some sort of unorthodox way and delievers a counter that's highly effective. Then the two seperate, charge back in and go toe to to with the Hero taking over the sense of the battle. While this was the classic and often clique method used in the movies, the young Chinese American loved seeing it happen, and even tried to incorporate this in his fights. Note: His crazy, unorthodox, unbalanced and highly effective kicks.
Having tensed the joints of his right arm on impact it sent his body craddling back and applied more weight on his right leg, giving it a slight majority of his weight, though barely breaking the fifty-fifty barrier. With his body leaning to the left he torqued his shoulders in while drawing in his right arm - turning it into an elbow strike that was just a few inches short of striking the collar bone. As his upper body began to spin his left boot raised up off the tile floor with a push from toes and went sailing back before careening upward and around to strike with a bent leg on the left side of Conners face.
As his foot came around his upper body went down, the classic teeter-totter move. His right arm remained tucked, with his left being pulled back into his body, meaning all he had was his right boot on the ground. While this was less stable, it also meant the kick was faster, and as long as it hit he'd have time to recover his base and move in for the kill.

(OOC: I think I get it, but if something seems off let me know.)
Conner's lips pulled up in an incredible grin, the full force of his elbow connecting with Tai's face making him extra happy. He felt Tai's head move with the hit, allowing Conner's extra force to slip by and continue his momentum for the follow up body shot. Pivoting on his right he slid up at a 45 degree angle, thrusting his arm up and inward towards its target.
Unfortunately, this would be slowed down by a short elbow strike. However, since the right shoulder of Conner would be moving back from the pivot, it would be more of a glancing nudge, doing little more than an uncomfortable poke. However, this would become much more of a pain in the ass as Tai's foot swung around, striking prematurely into Conner's left shoulder, since he had moved into the spinning kick's path in order for his other punch.
Though there was significant weight difference, Conner was shifting weight at the time. Because of this, Conner's weight would be pushed almost completely to his back right foot, interrupting his punch before it went much past his hip. As this happened, Conner pulled in his left leg at the knee, thrusting it out in a stomp aimed for Tai Yang's ass. Tai's foot would hit a much harder force of all Conner's weight, unable to follow all the way through with his kick. So, when Conner would literally kick his ass, Tai would most likely fall back hopefully landing very uncomfortably on his face.
