His opponent had successfully stuffed Nobu's attempt for an armbar by grabbing a hold of his throat in a last-ditch effort to strangle him. The Japanese fighter maintained the hold on his opponent's wrist with his right arm, while his left weaved under the choking arm. Now that his left arm was on the outside of his opponent's right arm, he brought it over the said arm while turning his shoulders to the right, his tricep putting pressure on the wrist in order to loosen the choke somewhat.
Keeping a stranglehold such as this, especially with one hand, is difficult because the only thing maintaining the choke is the power of the fingers and hand. So once the pressure had been placed on his opponent's wrist, Nobu drove his elbow downward and out while turning his shoulders back to the left, pushing the strangling hand down by the forearm and away from his neck with the power of his entire arm and rotation of his shoulders. As soon as the arm was pushed out of the way, Nobu swung his upper body down, his forehead descending upon the face of his opponent, the Japanese fighter planning on busting it open.

Easily the most enjoyable fight of the round.
This was a very hard match to judge, though I've came to a decision. Though Kokaku had more hits landed on Nobu, it seemed to me Nobu has established more of a dominance and many of those hits were desperation hits. Still, what I've seen was friggin' awesome guys, keep it up.
Winner, Nobu.
