A letter?
Tiao Lei Shen had been provided with a very elegant letter addressed to him. It was vague and ominious, all a much too common theme in the ex-pillar's life. There were few people Tiao socialized with these days, and couldn't figure this to be a good thing. If it was some sort of a formal party, it would more likely be addressed to his father. But it wasn't. The fact it was ominious and came at a time like this, Tiao couldn't help but begin thinking it had to do with his recent run ins with the organ trafficking ring.
Not one to let go of curiosity, Tiao went. He wasn't sure where he was going, so he dressed normally. A simple pair of jeans, sneakers, and a long sleeve T-shirt that would be comfortable in the cool spring evening air. When he arrived, he was already beginning to figure things out. He caught glance of Taiku Akimoto in the crowd, but his attention went towards Principal Alexander as she began to speak, taking his notice away from other such acquaintances, like the heavily despised Keith Richards.
Tiao had only participated in one of these underground tournaments once. It was just to prove a point, as Tiao usually stayed away from petty competitions. Tonight... he'd stay. Tiao wished he could have come up with some heavily driven reason to participate, but he couldn't. Tiao was lost in life at the moment, and drifting by was continually getting more boring. He needed to do something.
As such, Tiao Lei Shen stood in the very heart of the junkyard, running conveyor belts to both his sides. Hands in his pockets, he awaited his very brief acquaintance and first opponent of the night, Damien Blaze.

Looming over the battlefield-to-be, sitting atop the car-crusher overlooking this particular makeshift arena, the former Hircine High School Captain adjusted his glasses, looking down upon the area below.
In some ways, a captain never truly leaves his school, and while Darren was caught up in other affairs these days - namely college - he had been keeping tabs on the state of things as best he could, especially his best lieutenant and, in some ways, his protege, Tiao Lei Shen. A secret tournament, held by the very principal of the school, was good gossip, but Darren was a keeper of information, not a spreader. Thus, he knew the secret nature, and hoped he would be hidden well amongst the rubble.
Some things never change, and it seemed that one of those very things happened to be Darren's wardrobe. He was still wearing a blue light sweater under his signature white coat, with matching white pants. He had tactically chosen this particular car-crusher to sit on for the duration of the battle not only for its vantage point, but also that the setting sun would cause nearly anyone nearby who looked that way to be blinded and unable to see him, plus his white outfit would blend in with the sunshine and the colour of the mechanical device.
Down below, Tiao was preparing himself for a fight. He had changed much since Darren had last seen him, it would seem. The Tiao he knew would be bouncing around, making threats and taunts to anyone and no one at the same time, awaiting his opponent for the sheer reason to beat him down. Tonight's Tiao was sullen and quiet, though Darren could feel the intent of violence emanating just as strongly, if not even stronger.
Whoever his opponent would be, the ex-School Captain felt sorry for them, indeed.

Damien sighed, looking down at the letter in his hand then back up at the rather large junkyard he had been instructed to go to. The host, Victoria Alexander, was his only true reason for showing up, since underground tournaments and fights had lost interest with the young Blaze. He simple wasn't interested anymore. Most would think he would want retribution after his past two disqualifications in recent tournaments, but he felt no drive to do so. There was, in truth, only two reasons he even came here. As stated, Victoria was one. Being his girlfriend, he would prove to her that he was capable.
The second was to show everyone else that there was and is someone that is there for them, that will help them and is strong enough to.
He placed his letter in his leather jacket, stretching a little at the top of a walkway down into the midst of his "arena", where the fabled tiger of Hircine, the monster, awaited him. He held no fear- he had determination. He was different since last he and the man met. He had grown larger, faster, stronger, and had gained a steadier hand and more experience through the trials of his disappearance. He set his jacket on a car hood near the top after he stretched, wearing white Gi and a sleeveless shirt, giving him maximum mobility in his arms and legs, as was a classic fighting attire for him to don.
He stepped down, coming into the light and seeing the dark haired male a ways away, standing and looking rather sure of himself. He cracked his neck plainly, taking a deep breath before walking forward and appearing into view more fully. He didn't look around himself or notice anyone other then the quick glance he gave the Principal, his attention riveted on the man before him.
He would wait for the call out to begin before he slid his left foot back quickly, turning his body so his right side faced toward Tiao, Damien bringing up his right arm into a ninety degree angle, Hand open in what appeared to be a claw, palm toward the sky. His left hand went to his waistline, Clawed in much the same way, only his palm was facing toward his opponent. He stabilized himself, and waited for the Ex-Pillar and Former beacon of Hircine light to begin the assault.

Tiao didn't care much for these tournaments in most cases, yet he was still here tonight. He still couldn't give a very strong reason why. Boredom, yes, that was the driving force. Still, he couldn't help but have a feeling that there was something over his shoulder. A guardian angel perhaps? Unlikely. Regardless, something began to rise that got his blood flowing. Something...familiar.
His opponent, Damien, had arrived. He chose a more traditional look for the match today--a japanese gi. Maybe he was a karate fighter, maybe not. Really, it didn't matter. Tiao Lei Shen knew how this was going to end either way. He was sure Damien did too.
As soon as Damien got into stance, Tiao covered the distance. He was glad this time around that Damien didn't try talking to him. Pointless violence didn't require pointless conversation. His opponent took an unusual stance, maybe Chinese in form. Even if it was, Tiao found several flaws with it. The best way to fight was without a premature stance. The body moved quickest when it was relaxed, as Damien was about to experience in its purest form from the Tiger of Hircine.
Bursting forward, Tiao would lunge at Damien, still managing to keep his weight distribution 50/50 between his right and left leg. With his left leg forward, Tiao would land directly in front of Damien, his right hand shooting out in a Tiger claw, the heel of the palm aimmed squarely for the nose.

Damien wasted no time, planned on wasting no effort then needed to beat this former powerhouse so he could move on. He would move as the young assailant jumped forward. His feet would do a shuffle forward, not taking itself out of the position it was currently in and only moving his body about six to ten inches. The beginning stance in which he had taken was a secluded form of Martial arts designated and designed for defense, and kept his body significantly loose and ready for blows from above and below. It centered around defending and countering his opponent, and Damien knew that, with his enemies history in attacking, it would be perfect.
As his feet shuffled forward, his body not turning in the least, his left hand would shoot out and up swinging in a windmill type way at the elbow to connect with the forearm, right in the middle about six inches past the wrist. The blow would send the arm out to the side, Damien connecting before Tiao could fully extend his arm, the power behind it causing its extension to throw it off course. Damien, in a quick rotation of his right wrist, would bring that clawed hand around and bring his fingers together, touching them to his thumb , all the tips of his fingers pointing toward the tiger. His arm would shoot out, only his right elbow moving to give speed. without showing too much intent as to where it would go.
It would shoot forward, aiming for the hollow of Tiao's neck, just above the collarbone. The point? Hitting at that point wouldn't close the throat as it would if he hit him in the Adams apple, but it would cause serious discomfort and choking. After striking, most likely giving his opponent a stunned second (though even if it didn't it wouldn't much matter) Damien's hand would move up behind his enemies head, gripping the hair, at the back of his neck. His left hand would follow, gripping there in a Maui Thai clinch, and he would begin throwing up knee's, suddenly switching his purpose from defense to offense. This would only be done, however, if his retaliation was successful .
He was sure the Tiger knew that nearly every first blow was bound to be blocked and countered, so these movements probably wouldn't take him by surprise, except for the sheer speed of it. The movements would happen nearly as one, flowing together as though expected it. In truth, he had been counting on a punch or hand strike, so he could use that very counter.

Even with Tiao's superior speed, he never expected his first strike to land. Any fighter worth his salt wouldn't succumb to the first straight forward attack thrown in a fight. Otherwise it wouldn't be a fight, it would be embarrassing.
Tiao's right arm was deflected to the outside, where muscle memory would soon circle it back into his body. Adding in his own counter, Damien's right hand would snap out towards Tiao's neck. It was a move Tiao instantly recognized, having movements very similar in one of his own specialized styles--the crane. The crane was was precise and graceful, but there was a reason tigers were higher up on the food chain. A crane couldn't kill a tiger in the animal kingdom, and it wasn't going to here, either.
Though admittedly quick for his size, Damien's speed still didn't match up to the ex-pillars. Left hand already at the ready, Tiao's palm would bat at the incoming right, pushing down on the back of Damien's wrist to double its momentum, prematurely pushing it down and accross his body. Rather than guide it down with a large movement, like the windmill motion of Damien's deflection, Tiao's hand would bounce off Damien's. In one quick movement, Tiao's hand would parry Damien's attack before the back of hand would smack into Damien's nose. Even if he saw it coming, which would be unlikely in itself due to the speed and close proximity, Damien had just shuffled forward as well and would be unable to evade the short strike to the sensitive area.

A sharp smack to the nose would move Damiens head barely a fraction of an inch, giving a little pain through the center of his face. Unfortunately for the tiger, his hands proximity to his face would cause the backhand to give little damage, the sensitive area of the nose needed far more pressure added to it to do any real harm. Of course, this counter of Tiao's wouldnt go unnoticed. With thier hands being so close to one another, and Damiens left hand being so close to his face, He would shoot it to the right, gripping the left hand of the former pillar just below the wrist. His right hand, smacked downward, would ball up and shoot skyward, the foot or so distance from his knuckles to Tiao's chin leaving little to no room for expectation or retaliation, the same thing holding true for Damien- his ability to avoid that hit to the nose had been reduced by the distance he and Tiao shared.
If the fist connected, it wouldnt be a damage dealer, but would serve more as a distraction once again. The blow would be painful, sure, but more importantly, it would Move Tiaos head, disrupting his vision. Damien would reach around and up with the right hand after the connection, grabbing the back of Tiaos head, moving his right hand down and around the extended left he held, keeping as close to it as possible to reduce the time it took to get there. As his right arm moved to grab, Damien move the left arm of his enemy a little downward to give him room to palm the side of his adversary's head. Then, he'd push down to his left, the Tigers right, shifting his right leg to move it into the path of Tiao's own feet, pulling on the arm at the same time. By pulling forward and left, then crossing up his opponents feet and giving an obstruction, Damien would be effectively taking his enemy to the ground, moving the clasped arm at a downward angle as he pulled, Pushing the ex-pillar onto his face, the speed at which he moved and blended it all together being the center of the take-down, his body well trained and conditioned for this.
As he moved through it, His left hand, still clasping Tioa's left wrist, would release and reclasp around the wrist as the tiger fell to keep his grip strong, moving in the sudden instant that his opponent would be distracted. He would place the back of his knee in between the boys shoulder blades, slamming his weight down on him to keep in on the ground, his opponents right arm held back up behind his body in a painful manner. Damiens left foot would plant on the ground, supporting him. He would alleviate pressure on the back enough to lift the head he would hlld by the hair, then put the pressure back on suddenly, pushing down hard on the head to smash it into the cement.

(OOC: No worries. Forgive me if my post is shorter, as mine will make most your follow ups void.)
The hit to the nose would be a small one, admittedly, but also pointedly so. No matter how big, how strong, or how resilient, the nose would always be a sensitive area. The nerves were extremely soft, and even a slight touch could cause discomfort. Now, while not a powerful hit, Tiao's backhand was still a hit regardless, and while he doubted it would break the nose, it would cause some tearing up, to no fault of Damien's own.
Even with perfect perception, Damien would find it near impossible to grab ahold of Tiao's left hand. Never a sloppy movement, Tiao snapped all of his attacks, preventing such a rookie mistake. With his hand snapping back, Damien would be swatting at air, if he could even see through teared eyes. As Damien would reach, Tiao's left hand would already be moving towards the back of Damien's head, gripping a hand hold of his long black hair, pulling back with no remorse.
As an instant follow up to the nose strike, Damien likely wouldn't be able to avoid or block for the same reasons as the set up attack. If succesful, Tiao would continue to pull back and down on the head of hair exposing the throat as he'd slide his left behind Damien's right, widening his own base for more leverage. His right hand would come in for a chop, aiming for another short and quick attack to yet another sensitive and unprotected area of the body.

Damien shook his head, clearing up his eyes which, true to Tiao's words, began to tear up, regardless, Damien's mind had already put for the actions, and not Even Tiao could stop them. See, while reaching for the grab, Damien had committed another action- the punch. Sure, Tiao's hand may have snapped back but he brought it forward again, not bothering to notice that Damien's fist was still heading upward, and, due to his inaction, would connect with his chin. This would cause the tigers hand to be pushed back or off course, since the sudden connection would disrupt his thought pattern. Damien, realizing the danger, would bring his left foot forward so he would be standing shoulders squared, moving his head clear of the tigers hand, unless the boy should happen to grab his shoulder or shirt.
As he brought back his right fist his left would shoot out in a hard cross to the jaw, connecting about the time Tiao's chin would reach its original position. His right would be back for defense, Damien keeping his eyes around Tiao's shoulders, ready should his arms move, and his peripherals picking up on leg movement should a groin shot come flying up. Damien wasn't going to take chances, and knew that this sudden movement would be difficult for the Tiger to counter or read, the damage to his chin and the re-extending of his left hand giving Blaze the perfect openings.

(OOC: Readers bare with us. Currently writing around misunderstandings.)
Even without his hand hold upon Tiao's wrist, Damien would still ball up his fist in an uppercut up towards Tiao's chin. Tiao's quick backhand was near unavoidable because it swept over the only available limb. Unlike Tiao's, Damien's attack would attempt to come up from the middle, a more heavily guarded area.
Just as Damien's left arm had returned to center before reaching out towards Tiao's left wrist, Tiao's right hand had also made it back to the center at the same time, if not a few short moments earlier. As a result, as the uppercut came in, it would come into contact with the underside Tiao's right forearm instead, which was currently resting just in front of his chest. Unfortunately, this wouldn't negate Tiao's handhold on Damien's hair, though it would keep the follow up chop from coming.
Keeping his right hand close to his body now to prevent another such attack from sneakin through, Tiao would still slide his left foot forward, placing it roughly a foot behind Damien. Immediately following, Tiao would step through with his right foot on Damien's right side, continuing to pull back on the head of hair to further unbalance him. Sweeping his right leg behind Damien's right knee, Tiao would pull Damien into the ground, letting go of his head as soon as it reached Tiao's hip level.

Damien's fist connected with flesh, but it wasnt the hard skin of the bone on the chin like he wanted- instead, it was the soft yet muscled bone of his forearm. As the grip took place, Damien frowned. the Tigers leg placed behind his own. A Takedown? It would be a sore mistake if Tiao thought to fight him on the ground. Damien had years uopn years of Brazillian grapples and Jujitsu to reach upon, adapted by his own style of fighting. As the tiger began to pull his head back, Damien put strain on his neck, giving him the second in which it would take for Tiao to get up the strength to bypass it. His left hand would shoot out, grabbing the front of his enemies hair, his right hand grabbing the forearm he had punched.
This would cause him to abandon all leg resistance of course, and the takedown would be effective, but his own strength and Damiens weight would be used against the former pillar, As Damien pulled on both, using his weight and Tiao's footing to pull him down with him. As they would hit the ground, Damien would tug left with his hold on his enemies hair, pushing to the left at the same time in order to get Tiao to roll over, the surprise from the sudden pull to his level hopefully giving him a second or two to retaliate, though even if the Tiger should happen to stay on top, Damien would definitely work with it.
He was enjoying the fight so far- the former Pillar was everything he had hoped for, already doing damage to the young Blaze. This fight was far from over, however, nothing debilitating having been done to either of them. Damien would stop fooling around soon and get serious, having taken note that the boy would obviously do anything, just as he would, to win. Damien would move on after he was done testing the waters and begin using damaging moves, damaging strikes and grapples...he would begin dealing...
Uh...
Damage!

Tiao felt the connection in his right forearm, hitting him in the right spot to cause some momentary slightly dull pain, even in his heavily conditioned forearms. Hardly a price to pay though, in comparison to the extreme leverage he had gained against his opponent.
In what would be the last attempts to save himself, Damien's grab against Tiao's hair would go unhindered, as well as the grip on his forearm. At this point however, Tiao was in complete control of both their balance. Though Damien was able to grab Tiao's forearm, it would be a relatively weak one. Even though he was larger in size and likely in upperbody strength, Tiao had the severe advantage of leverage, making it no threat, but a hassle.
With Tiao in control of Damien's motion, Damien wouldn't be able to hold Tiao's right arm in place. As such, as Tiao stepped forward with his right foot for the sweep, his right hand would shoot back towards the face in downwards palm strike. In other cases, this alone could cause an instant knockout, but with Damien's hand on his arm it would slow it down, as the shirt sleeve stretch in his grip.
It would only slow the inevitable however, as Tiao's palm would still reach the center of Damien's face, firmly digging his thumb and middle finger into the temples with his unmatched hand strength. Turning Damien's own pull against him, Tiao would drop down to his right knee with the sweep, keeping his hair from being pulled from his head. Tiao had put his own momentum into the takedown, then Damien increased it, and finally Tiao would double both. As he dropped down to his knee, Tiao's left hand would let go of the hair and move towards Damien's wrist that held his hair. With Tiao pushing Damien's head down now, he would land head first, smacking the back of his head into the pavement for an instant blackout.
Tiao wasn't a ground fighter. Not because he didn't have the skills to do so, but because when he took someone to the ground, they stayed there.

Damien was falling, Tiao at his side, A hand careening toward his face. Damien would allow it to land- in fact, he welcomed it. He released all his grips, including the one on his opponents hair. His left arm Bent and went under the arm quickly, his right arm grabbing the right wrist of Tiao at the same time the left latched above it. Using only arm and shoulder muscles, Damien pulled the hand awa from his face- not enough for Tiao to be forced to release the grip, but to get some of the pressure of it. He curled his spine, his back and shoulders hitting the ground. As it made contact he wrenched on the hand, Ripping it away from his face to prevent the overbearing momentum to slam his head into the concrete and tear his back and shoulder muscles, the sweat on his head making it easier to slid that grip right off his skull.
The back of his head, moving with momentum, lightly slapped the concrete, causing a small dose of pain to ring, though not nearly at the speed to knock him out or to really make his head all fuzzy- Give him a knot later though, and would plague him for a good twenty minutes to half an hour.
He held that arm in a death grip and, almost instantly, used his unparelelled flexibility to bring his left leg over Tiao's extended arm. around the middle to top of the bicep. He pulled that arm more, spinning his body to give himself easier access. But pulling on that arm, Damien would bring Tiao's head closer to his shin. Using his superior Arm strength and knowing that having the arm extended gave it a little less strength, especially gripped in such a fashion, Damien would hold that arm with his left whil his right arm grabbed Tiaos head, Pulling the neck that would likely turn toward him as a reflex and pulling the neck down on his shins. His right leg would lift and be placed on Tiao's shoulder, holding him there as his left hand released his hold(as it would no longer be needed) and gripping Tiaos's hard and pulled as well.
The gogoplata, a devastating move, was easy enough to lock in once an arm was held. He was a lover of this move, it being his favorite, and got into it as quick as a snap, the suddenness of it startling himself and those in the crowd, his body moving almost mechanically, or on its own. Perhaps Tiao would find a way out of this move, regardless, Damien had only one thought as he aimed to lock it in with a swiftness.

Damien's constant switch of hand movements on the way down would prove to save him from a shorter life expectancy. The attempted gogoplata may even had a chance to work, had this been a sport fight in the ring with rules to prevent people from fighting like Tiao. Like fighting effectively.
Tiao Lei Shen had still forced Damien into the ground, and while his upper back may have taken the brunt of the force, its was a slam regardless and both the back and the head would be hurting. The moment Tiao slammed Damien down, he moved his free hand into play, still keeping his Damien's head pinned to the ground with his superior leverage of most (not all) of his body weight leaning down in a controlled manner.
(OOC: Short, but effective.)
Just before Damien would try and swing his leg over Tiao's shoulder, Tiao would grip the index finger of Damien's right hand with his left. Peeling down with no remorse, Tiao would pull Damien's hand off his wrist, breaking the digit in the process. With less control of Tiao's limb, the Tiger would lift the head up slightly again, slamming it down again into the pavement. Still keeping the right hand in his grasp by the index finger, Tiao would prevent the leg from ever getting all the way over his shoulder, having stayed posture up the entire time as he continually slammed Damien's head down.

Damien held the arm in a death grip, bringing up his leg to place it over the shoulder- when Tiao brought his other arm around, that vicious hand, that killer grip, stretching out to grab his hand,. Damien didnt know what the tiger planned, but he doubted it could be good for his wll being. As the hand flew nearer, Damien clenched tighter with his left hand and snatched out with his right, grabbing the other hand at the wrist before it could take hold of his finger. His right leg would move up at the same time, his foot planting on Tiaos chest. Damien brought his left leg back down, using it to stabilize his body and he pushed, grunting with effort, withhis right leg, pulling with both his arms.
His goal?
To totally dislocated both of Tiao's arms.
With that foot planted on Tiaos chest, Damien would bring his other leg up and plant it there too, using his back as a grounded center to keep himself balanced as he would attempt to tear the arms clean off his opponent. It was a move, reckless but brutal, known as the Crucifix, or backwards Crucifix.

(OOC: Good job me, putting the OOC message at the top this time. Writing is based on assumption for simplicity's sake, not modding.)
Once again Damien Blaze seemed possess unnatural speed and perception, somehow finding time to let go of one attempted hold in try for another. Tiao might have pondered this thought more, had it in this moment proved to be against him. However, Damien's attempted grab of his wrist would only quicken Tiao's intentions.
Tiao Lei Shen intended to grab Damien's right index finger. As Damien would try and grab out, it would only bring Damien's hand closer to Tiao's. The Tiger of Hircine would snatch it out of the air, following his target's trajectory whether it wasn't moving, or whether it was coming towards him. Held in his firm grasp, Tiao would push as he twisted his wrist counterclockwise, bending the finger back and twisting it and breaking the digit regardless.
Pushing down fiercly with his right hand, Tiao would palm Damien in the head, attempting to slam it back into the concrete. With Damien's hold, it wouldn't be nearly as powerful as it would unhindered, but the pain of a broken digit should prove as a minor distraction at the least as Tiao's hand went over Damien's face.
Even this would only be a distraction, only needing the momentary blocking of Damien's line of sight as Tiao would stand up from his kneeling position. Still gripping the broken finger, Tiao would twist it again for no other reason than to cause pain. Still allowing Damien's hand to grip his wrist, Tiao would send his left foot down in a stomp on the exposed right set of Damien's ribs, where Tiao held the arm at his hip.

Due to not having enough players to make it even. Both will be moving on to the next round. Tiao you will be considered the true winner but with rp purpose it will be stopped and tagged as a tie. Damien will be moving on since he is one of the more active players. Should you have any problems please address me in PM.
Finish your posts and move onto the next round.
Thank you.
