Hobbies: Quentin enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, and playing the guitar.
Extracurricular: Quentin is a part of the choir, and is in the track and cross country team; it depends on which season it is.
Personality: Quentin is shy when first meeting someone, but he’s very friendly and social once he gets into a conversation with someone. He’s kind at heart, and easily likeable. He jokes around a lot, but if he’s around a boy he likes or he thinks is cute, he gets shy or nervous really quickly. He tends to avoid conflict, and whenever there's any violence or arguments in his presence, he usually tries to stop it. He does fight, but only if there are no other options whatsoever. He keeps Buddhist psychology, and loves everything and everybody, he also prefers not to get too attached to objects, because as soon as he left his house, he knew nothing good lasted forever.
History:
Quentin Frisby was born into a privileged family in Northern California. His parents were self-made businesspeople who owned a shipping company. His parents were originally born in Alabama, and were both raised as hardcore Catholics. As the oldest child, he was raised to take over the family business, and to be a good-natured, God-fearing man. But even as a child, Quentin felt different than all of the other kids. He didn’t like playing rough like all of the other boys, or share any of the same interests as him. The only other person he felt really natural around was his little brother, Eric. He loved his little brother more than anything, and his brother felt the same way about him.
Once he was a young teen, Quentin’s body started changing, and he noticed that he liked hanging out with girls more as friends, but he felt weird whenever he was around other boys. He asked his mother about the changes he was feeling, and his mother suspected the truth, but she chose to avoid the question and tell him to play with his brother. She later told his father what he just said, and he was worried as well. As Quentin grew, he noticed that he was starting to like being around men more and more, and soon, he was starting to realize that he was gay. When he was thirteen and at the end of the eighth grade, he finally got the courage to come out of the closet to his parents, they were shocked. Not that they’ve never expected it, but they’ve been hoping to just avoid that forever.
His parents never treated him the same again, they’ve always kept their distance, and whenever he wanted to talk to his parents, they had a glazed look in they’re eyes and tried to get out of the conversation as soon as possible. His friends avoided him when rumors started circulating around, and when his grandfather came over to visit, his parents left him with Quentin and alcohol. Then, his grandfather mercilessly beat him, hoping to “beat the queer right outta him”. Quentin never quite forgot that moment, and he couldn’t sleep right for the next two weeks. The only person that still loved him was his little brother, Eric. Now Quentin loved Eric more than ever, until suddenly, over the summer, his parents told him that they “thought it would be best” if he moved to an apartment complex in San Francisco with his uncle Jared. It wasn’t really a choice on Quentin’s part, but he had to go anyway. He moved to San Francisco over the summer, and Uncle Jared was an okay guy, he actually didn’t mind that Quentin was gay, and treated him as a normal person, but he’d probably get used to gay people, living in San Francisco. But whenever he would try to send postcards home, they wouldn’t reply, and when he tried to call, they would never answer. Once, Eric called him secretly, quickly telling him that his parents said they didn’t want anything to do with him, and that they were now grooming Eric to be the new heir to the family business, and Eric wasn’t allowed to talk to Quentin anymore, then suddenly hung up, saying, “I love you, Quentin.” Quentin didn’t know what do now; he just knew that he was starting high school, with all of this stuff popping up. He now just hopes to make a fresh, new start in High School, and just hopes to get through it alive.
Fighting Style: Quentin uses normal street fighting methods, because he was never taught to fight with an official martial art. He mostly kicks and uses his speed to his advantage. He mostly relies on throwing his opponent off balance, then dealing damaging moves.
Strengths: He’s fast, and since he’s on the track and cross country team, he’s adapted to have a lot of stamina, and can last in a fight for a long time without getting tired, but he still gets hurt easily. Quentin also has great lower body strength.
Weaknesses: Quentin is light, which means that he can move faster, but he also can’t take much of a hit. And even though he has muscle, he’s still kind of scrawny, so he doesn’t deal a huge amount of damage.
