“Oops, Im sorry, did I just ruin your imitation Prada bag with my pudding cup. Im so sorry. What a horrible thing to have happened. Let me go fetch some extra napkins for you.”
Dorothea tried to speak sincere as she stifled a laugh at the little girl that sat on the bench furiously trying to clean the globs of chocolate pudding out of her bag. She walked away finding a seat at an empty table to watch as the girl panicked. She was bored. Since her arrival nothing seriously interesting had happened. She had heard rumors that things were supposed to go down between the schools of said Paragon and Hircine. But she hasn’t noticed much stir about it. Maybe she can call in a bomb threat to spice things up. Nothing says fun like the panicked look on the teachers faces as they usher students out of the school leading them to think its just a drill.
That seemed like fun but not worth the effort. She didn’t feel like doing much walking anyhow. Why couldn’t it be summer already. The feel of the heat wave on the beach. She wanted to wear her new bikini. How can she go wrong with that. Leaning to the side she nudged into Ed. Her ever so loyal servant.
“Ed be a dear and get me a fruit punch.”
He grunted as he removed himself from the area they sat at. Dorothea watching as he went back into the cafeteria. Maybe she can have Ed pick on the chess team today. That would be amusing.
The blonde sighed lightly to herself as she picked at the lunch tray that Ed had left on the table beside her. She would rather starve then eat anything remotely identifiable on that tray. Pushing it aside she turned and placed her back against the table’s edge watching a group of guys throw a football back and forth.
Her eyes scanned over their bodies, it was always a lovely sight when a male was in perfect pristine shape. Dorothea always appreciated those attributes.
Sucking in her bottom lip, she bit softly keeping her eyes on the boys as they played. At least this would distract her from the time being.

"Paragon ichi-ban!"
Kunioku's warning would come almost too late, the short foreign exchange student sprinting at an impressive speed. By the time the closest American football player turned to look, the plank of wood was already in motion, swung like a baseball bat at the outside of his kneecap. He went down pretty quick...with a surprising high-pitched squeal for a decently sized man. Embarassing.
Assuming anyone uderstood Kuni's Engrish, they'd assume he'd be here on Paragon's behalf. That was...well, he'd suppose it was partially true. Kuni liked the freedom given to him at Paragon, and now it really did seem like he was fighting to keep Paragon alive. Maybe he was now, though he really just came without thinking. It tends to be more exciting when you don't even know what you're doing.
"But I digress." Kuni snapped back to now, spinning in a counter-clockwise circle before releasing the plank, sending it as a projectile towards the other player who was rushing at him.
The player stopped, bringing his hands up to block. Unfortunately for Kuni, the piece of wood never even got close to him. Kuni sighed, leaping forward with an overhead elbow strike that cracked the boy on top of the skull. Not knowing how much it hurt him, Kuni landed only to pop up with a knee, which hit the lingering arms covering the face, though with enough force to knock him down. Kuni sat on top of him, mounting him as he landed fist after fist. After a half dozen, he caught a glimpse of a girl looking his way. He looked up with a grin, removing a hat that didn't exist as he gave a short bow while still sitting atop the student.
"Good afternoon, miss." He looked back up with a wider grin, looking back down as he sent one more punch square into the football player's face.

Dorothea’s eyes followed as the fighting pillaged on the lawn right in front of her, she was like their private audience as they put on a show just for her. She watched as the man that came tumbling with the slab of wood seemed to steal the boys of their dignity. To Dorothea it didn’t appear that they put up much of a fight to save it. The quicker it started the faster it ended with one final farewell to the face of the now half unconscious man.
She then clapped as he took a bow, her back still leaning against the table. Her body language clearly suggesting that she felt that she was in no danger. With a grin on her face she placed her hands on the bench, one on each side as she moved to sit up, rather than slouching.
“Good afternoon to you. If I didn’t know better someone somewhere sent you to entertain me.”
She then looked over at the fallen guys that were sprawled on the ground. What a waste, their muscles were nothing but show, how unattractive. Turning her eyes back towards someone that no doubt seemed more fun she grinned.
“Of course I believe it ended too soon. But again when it comes to carnage one can never make it last any longer. A shame really.”
Crossing one long leg over the other she placed her hands on top of her knees.
“I would be such a fool as to not ask for your company. So please join me if it only be for a few seconds, who knows when they might send the squad quad after you.”
She smirked.

Distracted like a dog by a laser pointer, Kunioku lost all interest in the long time limp body, surprised to get a conversation his way let alone acknowledgement. This girl was already proving to be much more interesting than most people around here. She had a pretty face and a loud personality... it kind of made Kuni want to strangle her just for the thrill. The thought was pushed aside for the time being though, as somewhere in his thoughts Kuni had stood up from the body, already making his way to take a seat next to the girl.
"I don't have that long of an attention span. If it dragged out any longer, I might have ended up chasing a bee." Kuni smirked with a shrug, his thought process continuing to churn.
"Squad quad..." Kuni repeated, not understanding the English slang. He shrugged, giving off the impression of a tough guy, but in truth simply ignorant of the context.
"You are a girl. One who attends the high class life of Hircine. Do I not frighten you?" Kunioku purposely leaned closer to the girl placing his left right hand on the table behind her with a slam, seemingly sniffing her out as he awaited her response.

Her lips curled into a smirk. Her eyes narrowing on him as if she were looking at prey. Dorothea wouldn’t flinch as his hand would vibrate through the wood. Instead she spoke in a darker tone as she let him into her personal space.
“There are a lot more things to be scared of in this world. Why waste such precious time fearing things that are inevitable. And where is the fun in that.”
She paused.
“Besides if I were afraid of you, I would have already dispatched of you. But I find you intriguing, and coming from me, that is a very good thing.”
She looked up at Ed who was now towering over the two from behind the table. The small juice box looking like a child’s toy as he held it within his large hand. He handed it over in which she reached over the strangers arm to get it.
“Thank you Ed.”
She then took the small straw from the side of the package and placed it within the container, taking a sip and handing it back to Ed, who held it without question. If the stranger would glance at Ed he would merely grunt letting a low growl come from his throat that suggested that he was no more than a guard dog waiting for the order.
Dorothea then spoke again in her nonchalant manner, pushing strands of hair behind her ears.
“Now tell me, is it more thrilling to use the plank of wood or the bare hands? I know Ed prefers his bare hands, the naughty boy. But with your entrance it seems it would cause more damage over all?”

Kunioku's eyes continued to narrow in on the girl, listening carefully as it took a moment to translate everything she said in his head. By the time he'd caught up, he didn't have time to respond. His attention was turned backwards, his eyes trailing the same way as Dorothea's. Kuni watched as she took a juicebox from her boyfriend/bodyguard/brother/keeper. The larger man must have noticed his look, for he started to emit a growl. In response, Kunioku began to grin.
Kuni's eyes trailed back to the girl, narrowing in with a sudden rage as she pushed back her hair. Keeping his right hand on the table as a leverage point, he turned to the right, his left hand forming a tight hold around her throat. He held it tight, not quite cutting off her air. Not yet. He brought his face to hers, his nose almost brushing against her cheek.
"How observant. What would you rather me use?"
Kunioku threatened Dorothea, his eyes shifting towards the large man on the other side of the table. He was waiting for an attack by this "Ed", expecting him to jump at the chance. Now that he thought of it, Kunioku wasn't sure who he was testing, the man, or the girl.

The feel of his hand on her throat was no surprise, she wasn’t an idiot, nor was she helpless. His hand seemed to fit almost perfectly. Dorothea put her hand, furthest away from him, up holding back Ed who seemed to let another growl rumble deep in his throat as it was apparent that he was restraining himself on her request. The juice box squirting its fucia colored liquid in a colored spray that coated his hand and the table in front of him. He took no notice as it was squashed in his palm.
Dorothea spoke calmly.
“Maybe something rather unexpected. Something hidden from sight until the last possible second.”
She could feel her throat move against his palm as she let out a slight chuckle. A morbid grin on her lips as she dare not blink while her eyes stayed on him. Her lips then let out a dark whisper.
“Do it and I undo you.”
If he would glance down he would see something shiny in her hand. What normally would be dull was instead sharpened to a point and held against his shirt and would prick his skin should he move any closer. He was too close to be able to move quick enough with his other hand to rid her of her weapon and she was too fast if he would try. She held a metal pike no longer than the tip of her finger to her wrist firmly in her hand. On the end was a metal butterfly that was covered with brushed gold to make it shimmer. It was something reminiscent of a hair stick that one would use in a hairdo, something she is able to pass through security without a second glance.
She turned her head, his hand still around her neck, her face almost touching his as if they were going to share a kiss. This was in no regard a tender moment but from any onlookers it would just seem like two people having a very close conversation since neither would show any distress of anything different.
“Why don’t you be a good boy and not test my patience. I only wanted to play.”

With a raise of her hand, Dorothea confirmed Kuni's hypothesis. That is, at least the one that had to do with Ed. He was a big, dumb guard dog only waiting to be let off his leash. If he was a real man he would have jumped into action right away. But nope, the girl was in full control. His eyes turned back to the front as she began to speak up again. Kuni's brow furrowed slightly, being the only response to the girl before she giggled.
At her next response Kuni's eyes glanced down, the japanese student unsure whether he wanted to smirk or shout. Indecision brought indifference, however, and Kunioku kept his hand just as firm around her neck, providing change neither way just as his facial expression did. Kunioku paused for a few moments, not moving until she was finished speaking. He leaned in past her now, breathing into her left ear.
"Oh, but pet... this is how I play."
As he finished speaking his hand would slide down her neck, moving to her right shoulder and gliding slowly and gently down her arm. He caressed her hand as he followed the path, still moving slowly as he brushed the hairpin with his fingers, finally coming to the point as he pressed his thumb against it. Raking it down ever so slowly, Kunioku would cut open his thumb. He leaned back after, placing the thumb against his lips as he sucked the wound, staring down the girl a moment before dropping his hand.
"People's limits are only meant to be pushed. I'd be lying if I was to say I'm not extremely curious in seeing how far a girl like you could go."

She moved her tongue just under her top lip and then sucked on her bottom lip watching him as he nicked himself purposely. Dorothea smirked as she withdrew her hairpin, tucking it back into her back pocket in one motion as she kept her eyes on him. She was indeed intrigued. This Paragon student was the first to peek her interest since her arrival to Hircine.
"See now there begs the question. Because the way I see it. I should be asking if you are able to keep up."
Uncrossing her legs she knew she was playing with fire. It wasn't uncommon coming from her. She knew the stakes, but did he.
"Dorothea and the big lug behind us is Ed, and you are?"
She remained sitting her eyes studying him as she waited to see if he would introduce himself. By now Ed had rid himself of the juice box that now laid on the ground, his hands in fist and only a grunt when introduced.

"Oh, ho!" Kunioku threw his head back in laughter, amused by the blatant challenge from the girl.
"Is that so?"
Kunioku asked his question rhetorically, allowing his body to relax fully as he sat back. The moment of their tension was over, for the moment, at least. He was intrigued as well. There was little that got prolonged interest from the foreign student. There was Ein Gilsin, but that didn't prove to be nearly as entertaining as he had hoped. A shadow of his former glory, he suspected.
"Hide Kunioku. Question, do you always let your dog roam free without a leash? He could get caught by the dog catcher and put to sleep."
Kuni eyed Ed with a smirk, hoping to upset him. Though, the way he'd only grunted Kunioku was beginning to think he was some sort of retarded. Like that movie he once saw, Who's Eatings Gilbert's Grapes. Kuni was pretty sure the retarded boy was the one eating all the grapes, but never saw where it was revealed. On that note, Kuni never saw grapes either. What the fuck.

“If I was allowed to roam than your neck would have already been snapped before the first finger touched her.”
A deep voice thundered from the giant. In response Dorothea held up her hand as a ‘see he can speak for himself’ kinda gesture. She smirked as she spoke her voice the complete opposite from Ed’s.
“Ed here has a lot of dedication, restraint and discipline something you seem to lack. But I guess that is what is interesting about you. I always love a good challenge. It’s like having a new wild horse, and playing with them until they break. That sweet satisfaction when the life dulls in their eyes and the horse does everything at your whim.”
She smiled at the remembrance of her first wild stallion. And how she tamed it, named it and discarded it like all the others. The thrill is done once the training is complete. In a way Ed was trained but he wasn’t as disposable like some inbred horse. He was her work in progress, her molding coming to life like an artist has with clay. Her big, beautiful Ed. She just wanted to cuddle and stroke him just like a pet. Her dedicated loving pet.
“So I guess that just makes me wonder where we go from here, Hide Kunioku.”

"It's funny you presume to know anything about me. However, I will give you part of that. Still, restraint and discipline are only for those to be controlled. Those of us who know the game don't exactly have to play by the rules."
This time, Kunioku ignored Ed completely, not bothering to tilt his eyes his way as he spoke nor after. Ed's words, though independent, confirmed exactly what Kuni thought. He said "If I was allowed to roam..." yada yada blank threats. That meant he wasn't worth anything. At least, not to Kunioku. He might mean something here to the girl. Every Dorothea needs her Tojo. Er... Todo.
"Well, you can start by trying to tell me why I shouldn't rip out your dog's tongue. He can't seem to hold it, he might need help."
Despite ignoring Ed for that moment, he still remembered the threat. Of course Kunioku wasn't intimidated, or even insulted by Ed's assumption of being able to take him. It was the mere fact that he spoke after Kuni had already made up his mind that he couldn't. That meant Ed was pretending to be a mute, but really wasn't, and that made him a liar. Liar's were bad. In Kunioku's case, it was fine. In Ed's, he'd have to be punished.

“Only when you know the game do you know how to step around the rules.”
She corrected him, speaking in a matter of fact tone towards him.
“Even though you may step around them, there are still limitations that can be held to a certain point even if they are not considered rules. The fact that you came with or without the Paragon name you still came to do what you do best. Beat others for the simple joy of knowing that you can. What does that accomplish other than you, yourself are nothing but a beast in peoples eyes.
They will never understand you the way that I do. They will never understand the need to do the things you do like I do. They will just try to put you out like some rabid animal. Restraint lets them know you mean business. To know that this wild animal in front of me has more mental capabilities than they do. Why have an untrained animal go for the kill when you know that in the end it will only be a dead animal. Useless, worthless pile of hide.
She then paused as she once again have him a once over with her eyes.
“Course you are showing a little restraint but what will happen when you do feel threatened. Be assured that once you pass a certain point with my dear Ed there will be no turning back. You can only control a dog for so long before the dog will lash out and with Ed they will be not be superficial. Its their animal instinct and their right what they were born for.”
She then leaned in close moving into his personal area. Her voice above a whisper as her breath seemed to caress his ear.
“A natural killer is only a highly trained killer. There will be no stupid mistakes like what you have just encountered only moments ago.”

Kunioku stared past Dorothea with a disinterested far away look. He made enough eye contact to show that he was listening-- for some reason-- but kept it blank enough to show that he took nothing to heart. Slipping out a sharpened number two pencil from his front right jean pocket casually, Kunioku began twirling it from finger to finger in his right hand. Showing impressive dexterity in his hand, Kuni was beginning to grow tired of sitting still. Perhaps the twirling would take some of the edge off.
He sat there looking bored, continuing to sit back. Making no movements beside the twirling of the pencil, Dorothea moved in to speak once more, her breath pressing against Kunioku's face. Without moving his body, Kunioku's left hand whipped around from his waist to grip the back of her head, coming from her blindspot where she wouldn't see it, thanks to her habit of whispering in his ear. To the masses, it would like they were sharing a kiss. To those involved, they'd see her head cradled close, with the pencil point against the left side of her neck.
"You know nothing about me. You can't threaten something without fear, and to be without fear is to be completely free. Something you might not understand yet, but you will. You will my pet."
Kunioku whispered back in her ear, wanting her to keep from making any sudden movements. If she did, or went for the hairpin once more, Kuni would press the point in a bit harder, proving his, well, point.
"You played your entire hand early on, so its time for you to fold." Kuni spoke softly, intent of keeping her from moving, though the pencil would help that as well. Without fully turning his head, he turned his eyes back towards Ed.
"However, you've done nothing. Feel free to show me your cards, Jack."

Dorothea’s eyes would shoot to Ed in a ‘don’t you dare’ gesture. He knew the look well in stood completely still, it didn’t stop him from clenching his fists until the fingernails embedded themselves into his palms. It wouldn’t be hard to grab Kunioku's face and squeeze.
“Do it.”
She looked wildly at Kunioku as she directed the words at him, her lips curling into a sadistic grin. She knew he was capable but didn’t stop her from egging him on.
“I have the Joker my dear Hide Kunioku. The other four cards are irrelevant and therefore you barely scratched the surface with me.”
Her body was still, not fighting or going against him. She did however take her finger tip and run it down his arm, the same arm holding the pencil pressed against her neck. Feeling the pencil tip push a little deeper.
“My sweet spot is just to the left so if your going to do it, you better do it right and better aim for the jugular. I wouldn’t want to ruin your pretty shoes, but if you insist.”
A dark chuckle escaped her throat as she kept her eyes on him. Challenging him to murder her in front of the Hircine school population was suicide. He wouldn’t make it out alive. The schools were on the rocks and it didn’t matter who the student was wether it be her or some little freshman. They would band together to take out the Paragon student. They would bludgeon him to a pulp and it would be a slow death. Such sweet sorrow and irony.
“All it takes is one little scream and then you know what will happen? You will die.”
Her lips continued her devious grin waiting for what would happen next.

Well, thanks to Dorothea's foresight or simple controlling nature, Kuni wouldn't have the immediate pleasure of maiming the retard. Kuni hoped he'd reach for him, which he'd put the pencil threw his hand. But oh well, Kuni would just have to kill him in a later point in time. THAT was something he really hoped he'd remember to do. So much escapes his mind these days.
Kunioku's eyes sharpened up on Dorothea once more as he came out of his thoughts. The way she talked, did she really think Kuni wouldn't do it? As she began to move her arm, Kuni dug the pencil in a bit harder, just enough to draw blood to show he wasn't a bluffer. She was speaking as if she welcomed death. Something about the way she did it though...Kunioku wasn't quite convinced.
"Don't play, temptress... I'm at the peak of my "restraint and discipline" right now by not shoving this through your pretty face." Kunioku gripped harder with his left hand, pulling her hair back just a bit with a sharp tug, only to vent some immediate physical frustration.
"It seems like you aren't getting this...here, let me make it simple: I came here as blatantly as possible, took down two of your students during the middle of your lunch break, and not one student has done anything in retaliation. Do you really think I fear any repercussions? That's why your student body is pathetic. They fear me, and therefore do nothing. Just like Ed fears disobeying you, and you fear not being in control. Sorry Dorothea, but I'm here to insist that this isn't Kansas anymore."
The second Kunioku finished speaking, his left hand would shove Dorothea's head to her left. Serving as a simple distraction, the pencil would move from her neck and stab just below her shoulder into her arm, Kuni using the push of her head to propel his run in the other direction, a maniacal laugh emanating as he through back some final words for contemplation as he made his exit.
"We could have been great together! Let me know-hahahaha- Let me know when you want to continue this conversation again!"

The attack was quickly noted as she would tuck in her arm closest to her body leaving the pencil to scrape across her flesh through the fabric of her shirt. The pencil tip was not dull by no means and fresh blood would start to ruin her cashmere sweater. Watching him make his un-dashing getaway she then turned the focus towards her arm which Ed had already removed the pencil that poked through. She hit his hand away as he tried to take a look at it.
She was pissed more about her shirt than she was about the attack or the scratch that was on her arm.
“Go get me something to wipe this up with and something to bandage it. Now”
She said sharply as Ed moved along. She wasn’t done with Hide Kunioku. O no, not by any other means. You can bruise the flesh and crumble the bones. But you wouldn’t mess with Dorothea Rich and her favorite cashmere sweater. She was the one playing the games not some lowly, primitive man.
Picking up the pencil with her blood staining the tip she looked at it before looking towards the empty spot where he was last seen as if he would pop out again.
“You will hear from me again. O yes and next time I will listen to your screams.”
With her grin spreading from ear to ear she took the pencil in both hands and snapped it like a twig. O there will be blood and it would not be her own. Hide Kunioku has only just scraped the surface with this delicate flower.
-End-
