Sitting at the bar within Legion, Victoria stirred the small straw in small circles in the center of her glass as she looked around. She had hoped she would spot Kazuki to get some advise but she knew he had a busy schedule. She didn’t expect him to just pop up and say “Your wish is my command” those days if there were any were gone. It was a shame she still missed a few tricks he had behind the scenes.
Taking a sip of the pop, that had at the beginning of the night been carbonated, now lay flat and lifeless within the small tumbler. She made a face at that fact and hadn’t realized that she had been sitting there for some time.
The music filled her ears as well as pound through her chest when those bass lines pumped through the speakers into the well dimmed room. She had been approached by a few guys, which after one look she turned down by merely stating in a dull tone that she wasn’t interested. It would have been nice if they seemed interesting but after living the life she has lived those average joes were dull and lifeless as her pop. And Victoria, liked to have fun, or at least have someone able to keep up.
Smoothing her long sleeve black dress she picked a piece of lint away from the hem that laid on her thigh and flicked it away. She appeared dark with her makeup to match, it seemed more as if she were mourning rather than going out to a party. If she would call this going out.
The sounds, the strangers. They were better than her empty, silent apartment. She found how fast she wanted to surround herself with people after being alone in her place. It was boring and her little fish, Blue wasn’t helping. It seemed that even a loner like her, liked some company sometimes, even if it was to sit at a bar, drinking pop and watching everyone else have a good time.
“Would you care to have a dance?”
Victoria barely looked before addressing she wasn’t one for the dance floor. But before she could object she seemed ushered onto the floor. The blue hair was a dead giveaway as Tak insisted on dragging her to the floor. With grumbling objections she tried to turn back towards the bar but it was too late and they were in the middle of the floor.
“Come on Vic quit being a stick in the mud.”
Just as he said it, the song seemed to end as another one, a slower paced song took its place. Tak stood there and held out his hands with a small pouty face that was accompanied by a grin which told her that if she didn’t he would force her to anyway.
“Shouldn’t you be hanging with your brother?”
Victoria moved in as Tak grabbed her hand and rested it on his shoulder, pulling her in as they slowed dance to the song. He rested his hands on the small of her back.
“O we did, and his girlfriend called. So I pretty much got ditched. So I figured since you told me where you were going to be I would see what this place was all about. And I have to say, the place is hopping. I can see that Mr. Big Shot found his way nicely into California.”
“Be nice Tak. And since you insisted, I guess I can use a dance partner.”
He took her hand once again, he moved in such a way that she did a slow spin and then again was ushered back into his arms.
“Yea, we can sign up for one of those reality shows on TV. Im sure we can blast them away with our awesome skills.”
He made a face at his own comment which made Victoria laugh. Tak being goofy to make her smile.
“Yea, Ok..You’ll be dancing alone in that case.”
“Ooo sounds like Im about to get ditched by my best friend tonight too.”
Victoria laughed as they continued to sway to the music.
“I seriously doubt that, if I tried, Im sure you’ll come after me again.”
“Damn right I will.” He laughed. “Your practically the only person I know around here. Maybe I should go on one of those dating sites or maybe those fast dating gigs? Think I look like a prospective kinda guy?”
“Im sure you’ll be beating women off by a stick.”
They both laughed.
Not hearing a sound Tak backed up and pulled his cell from the reaches of his pocket and flipped it open. Victoria stood back and waited as Tak plugged his ear so he could hear better.
“Yeah, I’ll come get ya, where you at?”
After receiving what he needed Tak looked at Vic.
“Blue needs me to come and get him, looks like his date just got cancelled. He got stranded on the other side of town and doesn’t have a money for a cab.”
Victoria started to move past Tak as if she was going to go with him but he stopped her.
“Nah you stay here, the night is young, you don’t wanna miss your chance at scouting out the room. But do me a favor, have some fun tonight.”
He leaned down and pecked her on the cheek.
“Just text me tonight when you get home so I know your home alright.”
Victoria nodded as he left her stranded in the middle of the dance floor.

A groan escaped his lips as his fingers found the zipper to his jacket, the coat falling off his arms and being strung over a seat at the bar. Damien, while only 18, hadn't been questioned when entering, his looks giving him the appearance of a 25 year old. He didn't think that he looked old, but his face was generally care-worn, and his unusually stand-offish nature drew no attention, the minor not even blinking, fidgeting, or glancing at the people who may have cast him strange glances. He looked to the man behind the counter, requesting a tall glass a coke. He looked around himself finally, taking in the Dance floor with a smile. It had been so long since he danced.
He turned back, gripping the glass that the man set in front of him and taking a long drink. He wore a button up shirt-unusually formal for him, his deep blue jeans giving him a smooth mixing of both style and casual dress. He set his cup down, letting out a little after-drink exhale and wiping his mouth with a napkin, his thoughts lingering on that days events. Coming here was probably the best thing for him, Damien being unable to remember the last time he truly relaxed. He glanced around again, his gaze sweeping the dance floor, then the counter, the his sight catching on the side of a face he recognized. He frowned...where had he seen her before? She turned, aiming to refuse a mans advances before the guy pulled her onto the dance floor.
The Co-Principal of Hircine. He got a thoughtful look, a small smile coming to his face as he saw her laugh and enjoy herself. It was a drastically different change from the slightly uptight and cold professionalism she had shown him in the office. Sure, she had been kind, but she also made it clear that she was in charge. Seeing the female relax gave him a new view on her, and reminded him that he too could find a little enjoyment from life. He took another drink, looking back to the counter and back to her, eyebrows twitching slightly as the man with her walked away, giving her a quick peck before leaving her on the dance floor.
He watched the gentleman leave, then perked up his ears as the song changed. He hoped she didn't plan on leaving the dance floor. He would catch her hand, whether she stood in the same spot or made to leave, his face giving a small smile should she happen to look back at him.
"One song and thats it? You gotta be kidding me...c'mon." The smile would spread, his charming smile hopefully doing a good job of hiding his nerves. He wasn't sure how this would fly with her, dancing with a student, and truth be told he wasn't sure how it flew with him. Naturally, Damien was a serious individual when it came to serious matters, but it seemed to be a family trait to have fun whenever possible, an "activity" he had been slightly lacking in these days. He'd hopefully get the teacher to come have a song with him, and if not, well, he was a professional when it came to pressure.
He couldn't deny the slight attraction he suddenly got for the older woman, her laughter and relaxed attitude giving her a new light. He liked it. Be serious when you have to, but don't be afraid to have fun.
He had to tell himself that more and more these days.

As her eyes went to the face of the person who's hand was on her arm, they meet with the student she had meet previous in her office only days before. Her eyebrows moved in a questionable manner since this was after all a club and he was clearly to her knowledge underage special so late at night.
"Mr. Blaze, I would be inclined to ask why you have taken the liberty to restricted me from leaving the dance floor. But I'm sure you wouldn't have a good reason."
She let him keep her there as she mere stood there. It wasn't that she didn't want to dance, but dancing with a student when she was the Principle even from another school, was something even she knew wouldn't look good. She couldn't fraternize with students. Her position was at stake if she did.
"Please be aware that this is highly irregular and very unprofessional."
She tried to keep her voice from shouting which led her to lean in towards his ear as she spoke.

Damien tilted his head a little, giving her access to his ear as she spoke. She used that same voice she used in the office, only this time the facade wasnt going to faze him. It wasnt as though he was thoughtless and didnt care about what she said, it just sounded so strict. Being serious was fine, but right now it wasnt something he was inclined to hear. He turned his head toward her ear, replying with a small smile on his face.
"Professionalism is best saved for the job. I'm here to have fun." He would shrug. "Besides, its just a dance."
He didnt want to seem rude or childish- oh the contrary. He just didnt want to worry about what everyone else would think. He seriously doubted anyone in this club knew his face or would recognize him as a student. As previously stated, Damien was not well known among the students, and therefore he had the freedom to do what he wished without much gossip, at least to a point. Dancing with a student wasnt going to jeapordize her position if nobody even knew his name. He recognized none of the people present, and therefore had no worries as of now. It wasnt like he was asking her for a date- its just a dance. Unless she resisted, he would pull her body closer to his, making clear his intention to dance with her.

He had a point. This was casual sure, but when does it stop being casual? Her mind reeled as she couldn't help but fear that if she just had a dance that she would get caught by someone of some stature, or rather anyone that knew that this guy was a student. Course she could probably get away with the fact that it was just a casual encounter and she didn't want to be rude.
Her heart raced from her worry and as he pulled her closer and seemed to tower over her, she couldn’t help but reach back and make sure his hands stay in the proper places and well above her waist line. She now regretted her black dress. His hands touched the bare skin of her back and as if his fingers produced electricity her hairs on the back of her neck stood on end.
“Just don’t get any ideas..”
Victoria mumbled as her body stood tense. It was not like it was a moment ago with Tak. Tak was her friend and she could relax knowing there were no consequences. Here, this was different, it was hard not to be as stiff as a board as the music played smooth. Everyone around them not caring and moving to the groove of the music.
His age didn’t bother her it was his position. There were six years between them and she was used to more when it came to the Banger Boys as well as being Taks younger by eight years. She wanted to be so careful to protect her position. This was the only way of life she had chosen for herself and she didn’t want to loose it not when she knew she was doing so good.
As they moved, she always looked past him, never really looking at him as they danced. Her hands barely resting on his shoulders as if afraid to let them rest. She knew he could tell how tense and unnatural she was moving. She tried to force herself to relax, but it really didn’t matter much.

Damien would laugh, his voice clear and friendly. He would obviously keep his hands in the appropriate areas, he wasnt the type of guy to cop a feel at a dance. Hell, he hadnt even thought of anything regarding something along those lines. He just wanted a dance. He could tell she was having problems with this-it was plain in her movements, and by the look on her face. He would bring his body a little closer, speaking into her ear as the song continued.
"You can relax principal, it's not like i'm asking you to be my girlfriend. Its a dance. Don't worry, i'll let you slip away once its over." He would move back and wink, letting his body ease through the song until its end. He would allow her to move away, a small sigh coming from his lips before he cleared his throat and moved over to where she sat or went to, sitting by her or standing next to her, a calm and friendly look on his face.
"You look marvelous." Just a compliment, his eyes staying on hers, not looking her over as most males would do. Not that she wasnt worth that, Damien just thought it disrespectful.
"You'll have to forgive me, but taking my short history with you into account, i'd say you werent exactly the clubbing type. Perhaps there is a little...i don't know...Outgoing side to you that i don't know about?" He would offer a little smile, trying to get her to talk to him and be a little less tense.

(Ooc- it was dead at work so don’t mind if I start rambling lol)
Victoria stepped back and away from the student since he had no objections of her leaving the floor. She moved back towards the sanctum of her seat at the bar. Her glass of flat pop was removed and before she could mention with her finger up, another one was brought towards her. The barkeep was used to what she ordered, she had ordered it every time within the nights that she found herself here.
Hearing Damien’s words her eyes went to his face. She didn’t know how to respond at first but knew she had to keep it strictly platonic without leading him on. Her hands stayed rested, taking the small straw within her finger tips and moving it around the glass barely able to hear the clinking sounds from the ice swirling around the glass tumbler.
“Thank you...I don’t normally come to bars but its really the only place I can be in a large group of people without having to contribute.”
Course she wouldn’t say that she normally picks up strange men along the way sometimes. But that wasn’t for him to know. Her loneliness was not any of his concern and she wasn’t about to get personal with him. As she spoke next she leaned closer to him and said, a little low so no one could hear but him.
“There is a lot to learn about a person but I wouldn’t suggest doing it within a bar. You shouldn’t be in here, your not even of legal age and I shouldn’t have to lecture you on why there are laws on underage drinking.”
She had a bad reputation with alcohol and would lecture anyone that it wasn’t good for them. Her past seemed stained with the smell of booze and she hadn’t even took a sip. She knew what people could turn into when they drank. She knew the horrors it brought and to let an underage student stand in front of her in a bar at that late of night was strictly going against what she stood for.
Taking barely a sip she turned again and looked towards him as if she had a revelation, she spoke.
“Im not going to lecture. I shouldn’t have to. Your old enough to know what consequences there are for your actions. I am off the clock and therefore shouldn’t worry about no one but myself. So from this moment on, you will address me as Victoria rather than Principle and not Vicky, Vic or any other pet names associated with it. And I hope you know what your doing. If someone sees you associating with me specially since your from Paragon and I’m from Hircine. Your going to have a lot more on your plate to worry about then being underage in a bar. Specially since the damn board pitted us against each other like pit bulls in a dog ring. I can’t believe they did that.”
She shook her head and took another sip from her pop. By now she was talking more into her pop than towards him.
“If I didn’t know better I would say I was back in Varron and facing the school board of crooks. Its bad enough this world is full of egotistical, money grubbing maniacs it seems like I’m always finding my way to them. Thousands of miles between here and there and it’s the same bad stuff. Its enough to make you sick to your stomach to know there is no safe haven for anyone anymore. Money, money, money, that’s all any one cares about anymore.”
She placed her lips on her straw and felt actually a tad bit better after rambling like she did. She wouldn’t be surprised if Damien would excuse himself from her company. She had just now put out the ‘I don’t care right now’ sign, figuratively speaking.
Addressing him once again.
“Sorry, I kinda had that held in for a while there.”
She took a breath in and let it out slowly.

Damien smiled slightly, expecting the teacher in her to pop out and begin launching into a tirade about where he was, what he was doing there, and drinking in general, he smiled as she stated her name.
"As you wish, Victoria."
He didnt bother telling her he hated beer and liqour, He just laughed inside, letting her say what she wanted. Though he got a slightly interested look on his face when she began to talk on, moving into other things about the school, her past, and a lot of action she apparently went through in school, his stature remained the same. He didnt walk away, oh the contrary, he took a seat, resting one elbow on the counter and interlocking his fingers to give the impression hat he fully planned on remaining where he was, looking to the bartender to grab him his drink.
He took a little drink as the man set it in front of him, his eyes never leaving the face of the woman next to him. Victoria. Victoria Alexander. Interesting name. Had a nice ring to it. He watched the way she sat, the slight bit of confidence mixed with a little bit of loneliness and pride, yet also a bit withdrawn and not overly callous. Her words went to his brain, her voice soft and full, her body shapely, though he hadnt yet looked her over. He could tell by the suit she wore when he met her in the office days before, and by what he could pick up of her body now through his peripherals. When she stopped, apologizing for taking so much talking time, David grinned, setting down the cup after the drink.
"Don't worry about it, i enjoying listening." He casually flicked a hand, indicating he was going to continue the topic.
"I hope im not being to frank, but why are you here alone? You look like you should have a dashing man sitting next to you." A casual way of asking about a boyfriend? Maybe. But more like a dip into her personal life, if only a small one. After she would reply, he'd raise an eyebrow then change the subject, as he doubted she would want to continue it.
"I see....Whats Varron? A school?

The words dashing was far from what she had in the past few months or rather for the past few years. She thought she had one of those but wouldn't you know it he goes off and plays dead. So instead of answering his first statement she merely acknowledged by a smirk.
"Varron Academy was very similar to Hircine mixed with the problems from Paragon. They were a lil worse off. I was brought in when I was 17 still a minor. I was forced into a foster home and given the right to authorize scheduled fights within the student population. With the fights being handled away from the school. It saved the school time and money. Men with more power than they should have been allowed bets to be placed. it helped fund the fights but in the end it was nothing but cock or dog fights to them. They never cared about the students. I couldn't stand there and let them to continue on corrupting the school any longer."
She paused to take another sip from the straw.
"I took a stand against them and succeeded to take over the school within the two years I was there. Many terrible things happened. Things I wish I could take back. things I should have been able to prevent but in the end everything good in Varron seemed to melt away. And to make a long story short, I failed and the school closed. Its been more than three years."
Her mood seemed to instantly simmer to cold as she tucked her arms around her midsection. She didn't want to think about what happened back then. She didn't want to think of all the dead students that could have had a chance if most people weren't corrupt. But it was done and over with and she didn't want to see the same thing happen at Hircine.
"I don't want to talk about it anymore..."

Ah, so it came down to a personal failure on her part. He felt like giving her a hug, but didnt know that it would be very welcome at this point. Besides, he wasnt the type to casually hand out hugs, even if she was feeling down.
"I'm sorry... that sounds terrible."
He looked to her arms, his eyes flicking back to her face, his brain pulling a typical male move and registering the ample quality of her body, though it was just a faint thought, his eyes and face showing nothing but concern for her feelings. He wasnt, as stated previously, the type to give someone affection, but that didnt mean he was totally without feelings. He didnt like to see a woman heartbroken, or down about herself, and he couldnt help the inner Blaze within him. He got down off the seat and, touching her shoulder, would wait until she looked at him before giving her a charming smile, trying his best to grin away her unhappy memories.
"Hey, i may not be that dashing man, but i can try to be." He pointed with a thumb to the door. " How about we get out of here?" He raised his hands to stop her from trying to reject him because she thought it was some kind of pick up, or like he wanted to take her somwhere and sleep with her. "Don't worry, Don't worry, i'm only talking about going and getting some food, or catching a movie, nothing else." He would chuckle a little at her suspicion, and wait for her to reply, his eyes on hers. He didnt say he wouldnt take no for an answer- he wanted her to have fun and cheer up. A movie would give her something else to think on, and dinner would give them a much...quieter place to talk, where songs werent blasting around them, and voices werent constantly talking.
Not to mention ears constantly listening.

Suave, very suave, Victoria couldn't help but think in the back of her mind when he offered to at least cheer her up. Who wouldn't feel down like she was at that moment.
Deciding to continue on with her 'I don't care anymore' frame of mind she slid from the bar stool and was probably going to do something she normally wouldn't do. She would take him up on his offer. Anything was better than sitting there having to shout and be bumped into by annoying drunk people.
She found her small jacket and held it within her hand.
"Okay"
And that's all it would take as she would follow him out of the establishment and out into the cool air. Once free of people, she swung her arms to place on her small jacket to shield her bare back from the cool air. Fusing with her hair in the back to poof it back up she turned towards Damien.
"Lead on Mr. Blaze. I will leave it up to you but again, no funny business."
She smirked again and tucked her hands into the pockets of her jacket.

Damien smiled, giving a little wink before walking with her to the door, grabbing his jacket as he passed without missing a step. He would put it on, the fur around the hood moving slightly in the breeze, Damien eagerly digging into the warmth as the cold night air bit them with its touch. He walked with her to his car, a 1967 chevy Nova, a beast of the road. Probably not the most attractive car for her to see...or maybe it was, if she was attracted to 750hp of non stop muscle. It was black, with a blower poping from the hood. He gave a small smile to her as he opened the door, for her, allowing her to take a seat inside before heading around to the other side and hopping in.
He couldnt help but feel a little aprehensive. This girl was older, and probably far more experienced then him in nearly every way. He had to remind himself that this wasnt a date, though a small part of him wished it was. It would be nice to have a date once in a while. He would fire up the car, the hard roar bringing the engine to life, his foot barely pressing the gass as he pulled out of the parking space. He would drive with one hand on the wheel, his left hand, his right on the stickshift as he looked over to her, a refreshed and excited look on his face.
"So, where shall we go for our date?"
He would laugh at the expression these words brought to her face, tearing away the tension the words would bring with ease. It was just a joke, and his laughing showed it was obvious. He was trying to lighten the mood a little, and by doing so hopefully get her to ease up a bit.
"We should go by your house so you can change." He would look to her from the corner of his eye. "I have a better idea, one that tops both dinner and a movie." He wouldnt tell her if she asked, though he felt it inevitable. When she did ask, or if she did, he would respond with: "Well, that i cant tell you. I can promise its nothing "funny" as you like to call it, and its all in good taste." Then he would wait for her directions to her place, if she gave them.

His laughter made her face at least give away some of the 'what are you talking about' look when he mentioned date. Sure she was over stepping her bounds right about now but it was far from a date. Joking aside she felt it was probably better to remain in her clothing rather than give her address to him. She didn't want to be rude but he was after all a student.
"I think I'll just stay as I am if you don't mind. I still have to keep some anonymity."
He was charming, but not that charming. She would insist that she was fine rather than wasting time to change into something more suitable for the mysterious activity ahead.
Looking at the interior of the vehicle she did a small sound as if surprised.
"I would have gauged you as a biker not a car enthusiast but I've been wrong before."
Placing her hands in her lap she sat kind still as she watched street lights pass one after the other. She wasn't much of a talker, never really was.
"So um, I hate to ruin the surprise but where are we going?"

Damien chuckled a little.
"Suit yourself, but its cold where we're going, and i figured you'd want a change of clothes." Now this sounded only a little wrong, but he hadnt meant it the way it sounded. He drove on, only smiling a little broader when she asked where they were headed He drove for about thirty minutes, going a little way out of town, about ten minutes from city lights. He would take a small road off to the left, away from an exit and directly away from the highway. It might look a little suspicious to her, but he had a relaxing attitude, and was obviously at ease and normal, as though this were nothing more then a drive. He would park, tree's not normally seen this far into Cali around them in full, Damien killing his car and giving Victoria a smile.
"C'mon." He would push open the door, getting out to reveal, directly in front of them a cliff face, though neither of them could see over the edge. He didnt know about Victoria's sense of adventure, or if she still had one after all she had been through, but he intended to find out. He would take off his jacket, and, as she looked over at him or if she did, would see him taking off his shirt, and then his pants, leaving his black briefs, Damien shivering a little from the cold, goosebumps appearing over his fine-toned frame. What the hell was he doing?
Meh, she'd probably ask, if she didnt start hitting him outright for doing that without telling her.
Then again, if she took a moment and asked him about it...she may actually find out what he was doing, and why he held that stupid grin on his face.

As he relieved himself of his clothes Victoria stood there with a absolute dumbfounded expression trying to figure out what he was doing. It wasn't 80 or even 70 degrees. It had to be at least 50. Back in her home town that was still warm but now, her body adjusted to the west coast and it was a bit nippy.
She laughed as he stood there waiting for her to follow suit.
"I'm not that crazy. I may be a lil free spirited at times but I know when to say no and if Im thinking what your think I know there's gotta be water down there somewhere...They call it winter for a reason."
She bit her bottom lip. It seemed as if he was giving her that look that told her that she needed to just go with the flow. The fact that she didn't have the same pleasure as him in wearing the appropriate attire under her dress.
"Turn around or close your eyes."
Making sure he wasn't peeking she turned and looked around. They were completely alone. Looking at him one more time she glared slightly to make sure before taking off her jacket and pulling the black garment over her head. She revealed her black satin under garments and her tattoo peeked around on her right side. Placing her clothes more delicately on the hood of his car. She tried to cover what she could by holding her arms around her.
"So now what?"

Damien grinned, keeping his eyes away from her until she spoke, then turning around, once more keeping his eyes on her face, showing her he had respect for her and wouldnt just make her get naked for no reason. He grinned, thinking to test his little game further.
"Close your eyes."
He would give her a look of 'you can trust me', waiting for her to do so. He was no freak or anything, It wasnt as though he was gonna start molesting her or some shit. He was the type to hurt people who did that. Hurt them badly. After she did so (since he wouldnt say another word until she did it, just keeping his mouth closed), he would take her by the hand, lead her to the edge of the cliff and...Push her over. She would fall about twenty feet, hiting the water smoothely, the heat from the largeish lake immediately giving her body warmth. He had found this place by accident, and knew that from here, nobody could see them. There was a small trail to the right of the cliff from the lake that led back up to the car, Damien leaping after her when he saw her hit the water.
He would land a ways in front of her, laughing after he broke the surface. "What a BLAST!" He would say, laughing again. He would look at her face, whether he make-up was smudged or no, and give her a little giggle and a wink.
"You flew marvelously, for a principal."

'What am I doing?' She kept asking herself over and over in her mind. But she did as he asked taking off her heels before letting his hand take hers.
Her body shivered from the breeze that crept up her spine. It was either that or the fear of not knowing what was just beyond the cliff. She knew it dropped off but she didn't know how far.
as he nudged her forward she opened her eyes to see blackness, there were no lights to illuminate her way which made her heart race but it was too late. The ground under her feet was now gone and the air rushed around her. She gasped sucking in her breath.
She hated heights and yet she now finds herself falling from a cliff into god knows what. She only hoped she could trust him.
Feeling the rush of a warm liquid hit her skin from the tip of her toes to the end strands of her hair she clawed her way to the surface. She was right in her guess. She was now in water, warm water at that.
His entry splash made her quickly turn.
"Flying, Ill show you flying"
She started swinging her arms splashing him with waves of water as she let out a laugh. Sure she was scared at the fall but she wasn't going to let him have all the laughs.
Victoria stopped as she seemed to calm down now that her heart wasnt doing a 100 meter dash.
"Heh, the waters warm?"
Looking around her eyes were still getting adjusted to the dark.

Damien grinned, laughing as she splashed him. This was unexpected. She was...flirting? No, just having fun. He wasnt about to let his mind get the better of him. He didnt splash back, instead laughing and covering his face with his hands. "Okay okay, i surrender!" He would chuckle until she stopped, bringing his hands back down as he looked at her. He drifted in the water, thier bodies a little bloser now. He flushed red, unable to help the small glimpse downward and through the water he just happened to get. 'shit....you told yourself not to look down dumbass!' "Umm...yeah, the waters superheated by cracks under on the bottom. Comes up through the earth i suppose."
He cleared his throat and looked toward the edge of the bowl of water they were in, turning back to Victoria and nodding with his head.
"Here, follow me." He would swim toward the edge, grabbing the small embankment and leaning over. The wall over the embankment was high, and he had to stick his arms way above the surface to grab it, pulling himself up with ease and looking out, a smooth smile coming across his face at the view. Then he would look down, realizing that not only would she be getting an inprint of his ass to look at, since his clothes were wet, but that she couldnt see a thing, the girl being far too short to grab hold of the sides.
He would fall back into the water, reach down, grip her sides, and lift her up to the wall before she could react, his powerful muscles making the task more than simple for him. Instead of sitting there and checking out her butt (which he happilliy took a glimpse of), he went beside her and pulled himself up again, wiping off his face with a smile. They could see the entire city laid out below them, and the stars ran off into the distance, the lights below reflecting off the hillsides.
"Gorgeous, isnt it?"

Following was the easy part, trying to look over a ledge that was far out of her reach no. Victoria turned her face slightly to the side as she took a side glance as he raised out of the water. She quickly diverted her eyes away once he came back down with a splash only to feel hands move to her waste. Her body lifted with the strength of his arms.
“Hey wait what are..”
Her eyes hit what he had once seen. The palms of her hands rested on the earth as her eyes swept over something beautiful.
“O wow...”
The city sparkled with all the lights as it laid silently before them and the stars above. There were no yelling, no car horns, no sounds except for nature. Victoria could make out a few of the buildings that she knew, she could see so much and it took her breath away. It sort of reminded her of when she first came to the city. Her first glance at a new beginning. It seemed so surreal then and now it was just the same.
She had come a long way. She was on the streets having nothing, taken in by two strangers as if an abandoned animal. Gave her a job, put her on her feet and now she’s principle with her own place. She never thought things could happen this way. That there still would be something positive in her life to look forward to.
Her eyes seemed to cloud with tears as she kept her eyes on the horizon. Feeling drops of water move down her spine from her short hair.
“I never thought I could come so far. But I seem to keep moving forward without realizing it. Having guardian angels along to way to help pick me up when I was down. It seems so much like a dream. Like I could wake right now and be back in those horrible places in my nightmares.”
She swallowed hard trying to hold back her tears, her emotions.
“Through the bruises and broken bones, it never really mattered about me, in fact it was never about me. It was always what I stood for. Knowing that I would fight my way through life to protect those that couldn't protect themselves. My parents probably never had my life style in mind when I was an infant, they probably figured I would be something important. Something that could make a difference without the violence.”
She brought her hand towards her chest, her fingertips pressing against her flesh, her ink. She blinked more rapidly to stop herself from crying.
“Guess parents really never get a say so, or at least in my instant, they never had a chance.”

He wasn't looking at the view, but instead resting his chin on his hands, eyes on her. He would give her a smile when she spoke, this one being a smile of satisfaction. Job well done Damien. He Would look away a second after she looked at him, IF she looked at him, eyes going back to the surrounding city. He was musing something over in his mind, wondering whether or not to tell the female. Was money a factor to her? Probably. Was to most people. But he hoped it wouldn't be as he lowered himself into the water, not looking at her body but instead taking a deep breath, telling himself to calm down. Why was his heart beating so fast? He didn't like her like that. He was attracted to her, definitely, but nothing more then that.
He would sigh once she came back down into the water, looking over at her with a slightly sad smile, looking down into the water as though he was lost in thought. Then the air of sadness would pass and he would take her hand, speaking softly.
"Take a deep breath."
Then he would dive down, heading to the bottom of the lake. They weren't on the deep side, the bottom only being about fifteen to twenty feet below them. Fish would swim around them, small ones, most of them flying deeper into the darkness which led to the far lower parts of the water, their shivering hides shining as they moved. On the bottom would be what appeared to be sand. Upon closer inspection, she would see a small layer of Pears, about the size of beads, layering the bottom, sparkling. He would grab a handful, hold it out in the water, and put it in her empty hand. Then he would swim back up, gasping in sweet oxygen, putting back his hair our of his eyes.
Once she emerged he would look in her hand with her.
"Their everywhere at the bottom, and are a lot bigger the deeper you go." He would say it smoothly, like it was nothing, though he knew there was millions of dollars worth of pearls at the bottom of that lake.
"They come up through the vents that heat the water. I'm not sure how, but some are big, like the size of my fist." He chuckled a little. "I think its stunning, and love to dive down there sometimes and just look at them, and at the small bits of wildlife swimming in the deeper parts.
