It was 9:07 Am and the sun was just beginning to peer through the dark glooming clouds who drenched the city in rain not less that an hour ago. Puddles filled the courtyard of Hircine High school. The few rays of sun that shown through the clouds only lit small glittering areas of grass, sidewalk, and water. It was dark and some what brooding, yet there was a calm about it. Almost as if it were the calm before the storm.
Roth walked along the flooded paths of the courtyard as students and teachers alike made there way to their next classes. Roth looked up at the glittering sun rays in the sky enjoying the peace and quiet usually interrupted be his loud and clingy brother Aaron. Luckily said brother had gotten a cold the week before and was told to stay out of school till he got some good rest. Roth looked around at the scenery around him for a place to sit and relax for the next few minutes before the warning bell for the next class arrived. He eventually spotted an empty bench over by a large tree and sat down and began to look back into the sky.
A large cool Autumn breeze flew by and blew across Roth's face as he closed his eyes and found an inner peace. Unfortunately this peace was soon interrupted by a combination of loud rap music and screams. Roth look over to his left to find a group of students harassing what seemed to be a young freshmen, or young sophomore couple. There were five men surrounding them, one with speakers blaring some sort of hip hop music, two of the wearing similar if not the same dark yellow hoodie, the fourth was most recognized by his bright orange beanie, and the fifth was only different by his towering height and defiantly seemed to be the leader of their group. Roth unable to watch such harassment waited a few moments to see if anyone had enough balls to confront them, and nobody seemed up to the task.
Roth lifted his body off the bench and walked over somewhat menacingly to the group of harassers until at least two of them noticed his approach. As Roth neared them he began to estimate the leaders height, Roth was 6'1 and this guy had at least 4 inches on him. Roth stood just inches away from their leader as he stopped. All five of them starred at the Philly transfer student as if he not only didn't belong there, but as if it were the devil rising from the earth. Roth stood over all but their leader, his long black and red hair flew wildly in the breeze as did hid coat.
"Well, well" Roth began rather quickly. "What do we have here, five upperclassmen harassing these two lowerclassmen. Now I may not be the best math student at Hircine High, but I think I know that these odds are very uneven." Roth began to remove his trench coat and throw it to the wet ground. The five began to stare him down but Roth stood there staring off at each one switching off every now and then. The leader began to step back and let the two in the dark yellow hoodies begin what was going to be a fight.
No words but actions came from the two as each one took a step for ward throwing opposite armed hook. A right going for the ribs, and the left his aimed at the jaw. Roth's immediate trained action was to block, Roth blocked the left hook with his right arm stretched up and straight, the second with his left leg using his thigh and lower knee to block the rib shot. After the blocks Roth grabbed the arm of the left attacker and pulled him in for a left jab headed straight for his nose which broke on impact. As the attacker with the recently broken nose lay next to Roth's feet the second lunged forward in a running tackle, Roth waited for the precise moment and grabbed the man's neck and used his left free arm to latch onto the back of his sagging pants, lift him up and slam him onto the ground next to his fallen comrade. A wrestling move known as the choke-slam.
"Well is that all you got to offer?" Roth stared into the leaders eye as the rival extended his right arm pointing at Roth gesturing for the other two to attack. The student with the orange beanie came first throwing a quick right forward kick to Roth's gut. The kick connected, but only because Roth let it. As the leg went to go down Roth grappled his leg and shifted himself to th it going across his chest with his left arm over the shin, and his right arm below the lower thigh. Roth twisted his body around 180 degrees using all his balance and threw the orange beanie wearing kid into the one with the speakers. This not only taking them down, but ending that god awful music.
"Well there goes your lackeys, so I guess it's just you and me now" Roth spoke boastfully as the four lay on the ground in pain. Roth then silently gestured for the couple to make their escape, but as the leader of the group notice their escape he pulled a switchblade from his pocket and grabbed the girl into his arm and the blade at her neck.
"Hey man, calm down there no damn reason to hurt her or anyone else around. I don't care if you have a personal grudge, or just damn bored, but if your gunna be a pussy and use that thing then keep it on me." Roth stared angrily into his eyes until her threw the girl down into the mud. Roth stood stiff in his position as the silent attack stared back at him with the blade being thrown between his hands.
Roth took a quick look around to see the large crowd of students and some teachers forming around them. As soon as he looked back the man lunged forward in a stabbing motion aimed for his throat. Roth quickly reacted and caught the stabbing hand with his left and both men soon held each others fists with the blade trembling inches away from each face. This was now a test of strength whoever was stronger would slash at the weaker of the two's face, but Roth didn't have the desire to go to juvie.
Roth quickly spun to his left letting the blade slide down past his face and the owner of the blade fell onto the ground face first. Roth with his hands still holding the others ripped the blade from his hand and tossed it away into the grass. Quickly Roth mounted his back wrapped both hand under the armpits and under the chin and pulled up in a camel clutch straining the back and neck muscles of his victim.
"So...you gunna threat kids like that again!? Huh? Are Ya?!!" Roth yelled as he began to pull even harder. Suddenly he felt a strong blow to his head. A kick or low punch that almost rendered him unconscious. Roth released the man and stood up and stared into the face of his new enemy. Whether it was the fallen groups friend, another board phycopath, or some who didn't know the whole story Roth was ready to face his new opponent.

Shimizu sat looking up at the sky. It was a beautiful day out, even after a good morning’s rain. The sky began to clear and the sun began shining through, its rays covering the area, spreading warmth and comfort to everything it touched. The rays his him and he felt the slight warmth they brought and thanked the sun for such a hug. He started to close his eyes when he heard the familiar sound of people playing music and others harassing others. This time, though, it was different because a voice was heard he didn’t recognize. It seemed to be someone new and he waited to hear what would happen.
He didn’t have to open his eyes to know what the person was getting ready to do. Newcomers always fight and this was another one of those times. He couldn’t remember anyone new who came in without a fight accept for him. He heard the ruckus begin and the hooligans who were doing the harassing were now getting a royal beat down of the century. It was funny, yet boring all at the same time because it was the same thing over and over again. When he started to listen to the boy speak over and over again, it made his head start to hurt.
“Oh man another fighter who talks more than he fights. Give me a break god…. Please.”
Shimizu opened his eyes and peered over to the boy as he continued to fight, knowing no restraint at all. Even though the girl had a knife to her throat, show some restraint anyway. The man is a bad person for doing such a thing, but you could already tell that he was scared shitless so why keep it going. You know he would never fuck with anyone again after that so it would have been a good time to stop. He didn’t stop. Once he had the man on the ground it was time to make this little confrontation, gone wrong, stop. He looked down at him before bringing his right heel back and releasing it into the lower neck and skull of the kid before him.
His foot slammed into the lower neck of this person who seemed a bit out of his mind. He was obviously good at what he was doing, but at the same time was scaring the shit out of the various people around him and the two he was supposedly rescuing from the tyranny of upperclassmen. Whatever the case may be though, this had to end now or something was going to happen. Shimizu pulled his foot back from the head of the student who was almost knocked out by the sudden blow to the back of his skull. He stood back as the student rolled over, stood up and looked him as if he had two heads or four eyes. Shimizu didn’t take any kind of stance whatsoever.
"Did you have your bit of glory? Did you get your point across? You need to learn a bit of restraint. You need to resort to something else other than fighting no matter the circumstances. If you don’t, then you wont make it very far in this God forsaken place."
The students who had been beaten looked up at Shimizu, knowing his connections and scurried away with their heads between their legs. The leaders stood and back away without turning their backs, bowing slightly in respect. Shimizu bowed back before the two disappeared into the background of the school. Shimizu turned back to the boy who had beaten them shamelessly into pulps that used to be humans and waited for a reply.

A cool breeze flew over Roth once again as he began to rise from the ground after reciving a blow to the neck and head. Roth stood slightly dazed and analysed his surroundings to find the beaten thugs had gone and left leaving the most recent fight standing beofre him. Roth riased his left arm and wipped the drool from his chin a lower lip and then checked his head for blood. Luckily there wasn't anything exept for a bruise to remind him of this day for atlwast the next week.
Roth firmed his stance and stared straight into his opponents eyes. Roth could plainly see that he was older yet a lot smaller than Roth in height and mass. "Well that was a bit rude don't ya think?" Roth laughed slightly and began to crack his stiff neck and fingers. It wasn't intimidating, just a way to loosen the muscles. Roth pulled a little on his shirt to relif hom self of a cool sweat that began during his duel with the knife.
"Judging from your face I can see that A: your ready for a fight, and B: you want me to shut the hell up, so since you had the first shot I guees it's my turn." Roth looked down to his left at the ground and the slightly up. Roth took his turn and came at his new opponent very fast and hard. Roth racialy assumed that his opponet would assuume a martial arts stance and planed accordingly. Roth jumped about a yard infront of his opponent and swung out both legs in a running jump kick aimed for his upper chest. A risky move but powerful if it hit.
If Roth connected his opponent would most likley get the wind knocked out of him, if it missed Roth would spin him self as he landed and make a push-up position on the ground on wich he would quickly rise and throw a left punch with the left side of his fist aimed at his opponent. After that the next move would belong to his opponent.

It was sometime around 9am when Pine entered the school grounds. It was a nice fall day here at Hircine and the breeze was light and cool. It reminded Pine of his old home north of the boarder. Usually by now it was much cooler than it was here but he was not going to complain about such things. There was no point to it because Pine hated the frigid Canadian winters as much as the next guy. He was happy that it would be much warmer here during the winter months than either New York or Canada and stayed cooler in the spring and summer. Thus were the advantages to living by a bay. The water made such things possible because it held heat and cold longer than any other natural surface.
Pine was yet again greeted by the signs of a fight. He watched two students, a male and a female, being harassed by five individuals listening to Rap music. Not only were they listening to it, they were blasting it so everyone else had to also. That is not to say Pine had anything against Rap music but if he wanted to listen to it he would turn it on himself. He was upset that such things were happening and it was not even lunch yet.
~Ignorant little punk-ass, wanna-be, wangsta, mother@#*$%!~ He thought to himself as the music began to irritate him. Pine was about to go beat the two boyfriends in matching sweaters up so they better understood the consequences of ruining his peace. Pine was sadly beaten to the punch and some six foot dummy.
This kid was a talker and decided to run his mouth and make himself recognized. That to Pine was a mistake, he would have hit them hard and fast from behind while the music was still loud. This way he could ensure that at least two of the boys would be taken out before the initial shock wore off and the group began to realize what was happening. No this kid had to do it the honorably stupid way and face his opponents. The last time Pine did such a thing he was granted the last scar on his face. The kid however had done well in dropping the two boyfriends with little effort. The fight looked like something you would watch on T.V. You know, one of those dinky wrestling shows that were so fake it ceased to be funny. Pine's concern turned when the largest student in a orange beanie pulled a blade.
It got even worse when he put the knife to the girls throat and hid behind her. See here is where Pine a logical individual would back off. The girls life was not worth the victory, it was an unfair trade. The wrestler seemed to ignore the fact someone could die and moved to attack the man. If he failed one of two things could happen: first, the student could cower and be taken down or he could slit the girls throat and she would die for someones pride. The fact he was scared made it a true 50/50 choice as scared people were unpredictable. The boy and the girl were lucky, he choked and she lived.
Pine was fuming now, how could someone play 50/50 with another life like that. It was purely idiotic and arrogant to do such a thing. Pine was moving in now, toward the scene of such a crime. His objectives were simple: take out the student that thought it OK to endanger another life to win, and stab the other student with his own knife so he better understood the consequences of his actions. Pine had not made it five feet before someone yet again beat him to the punch. Another student dropped the big idiot with a shot to the back of the head and neck. ~Oh for the love of God!!!~ His mind ranted as he was forced yet again to watch.
The new boy made the others flee in terror and the man with the knife bow. Pine was intrigued by such an act. Pine had no idea who this kid was but he was unsure of whether to respect him or to fight him. Sure he was bigger but so were 90% of Pine's opponents. Not to mention 90% of them met defeat at his hands back at Varron. That however was a different time and place, Pine would have to watch what was going on.
That was when he realized that the fight was about to take place between these two. For what reason were they to fight? There was a crowd around and everyone had seen part of what happened, this was just another pointless cock measuring contest. Pine muscled his way to the inner layer of the small crowd so he was acting as the ring. He would watch the fight and observe these two. He was sure he would meet one of them again and would probably fight. If he knew how they both fought, their size would mean nothing against him. The fight would be a fair one and there has not been a single person to have ever beaten Pine in a fair fight. Until then he would probably just point and make fun of them while they fought for some fun.
Pine watched Roth (OOC: I'm using names to differentiate people) His first attack was ridiculous. Who would use such a kick in a fight while their opponent was still fresh for the fight. If that landed Pine would be impressed and if Roth lasted counter attack Pine would be extremely impressed. With a move like that he would not have to worry about fighting Roth. The man would beat himself before Pine was able to do the job himself.
"Idiot this isn't a wrestling ring!" He yelled but doubted it would mean anything to Roth now as he was already airborne. It was time to see what his opponent was made of.

The breeze felt a bit more stirring now that he saw the boy get up and ready himself for another encounter. Shimizu only stood and watched the boy. He was larger than Shimizu himself, but Shimizu had the upper hand. It wasn’t that he knew martial arts, but he was fresh and this kid had been in a fight for the past fifteen minutes with five guys. Shimizu hoped that the boy would reconsider, but that was met with dismay. Shimizu wasn’t here to fight, but now it seemed her would have to.
The boy in front of him dashed at him, low and hard. What was he thinking right now? He was larger than Shimizu, but he’s coming low and fast. Shimizu’s thoughts were interrupted when he saw the boy jump airborne and try to drop kick him in the chest. This was by far the most weird of things you could do in a fight if you had no clue what you were doing. Never leave your feet unless you know how to use them in the air. This was to be made apparent to the boy as Shimizu quick stepped to the right and turned to the left. The boy’s feet just past in front of him before his knees made the most perfect target.
Shimizu pushed out both arms in a frontal block straight to the knees of his opponent, knocking him far off course from his objective. He used his right leg to give him power as he then pushed, spinning the person like a top in mid air. For the crowd that gathered, this would look pretty funny, but for the boy who was in the air, it would be quite painful...that is once he hit the ground. He watched the boy fall and heard the voice of someone in the crowd make a nice comment for our airborne friend. The comment described this poor boys drop kick as a wrestling move. Shimizu had only heard of American wrestling and thought it stupid and boring.
Shimizu stood and watched to see if the boy would come at him again. He wasn’t up for fighting at this moment, but if the boy persisted then he would turn on that switch and show the boy how to really fight. As he waited he noticed that the crowd was getting larger and larger. Shimizu didn’t think twice at first, but this was pretty bad for him, especially if anyone who knew Shuya was here. Kempei Tai aren’t exactly supposed to be causing a ruckus, but at this school it was impossible not to. He turned his glance back once more to probably see the boy get up, his mind wishing that he wouldn’t.
‘Please. Don’t get up. This is for your own good. I’m not here to fight so stay down or at least stop this madness.’ The thought would hopefully make its mark on his opponent who could only tell his thoughts by the look on his face.

The brisk fall breeze lower in temperature as the rest of the school got colder as well. Roth's running drop kick was dodged when Roth realized he couldn't feel anything under his feet. Roth began to adjust him self by spinning so his head faced the ground, unfortunately as he did this his opponent had slammed both his knees with a great force which sent him wildly spinning a yard and a half away.
Roth tried to take control of his landing swinging his hand at the ground and shoving his finger into the loose wet ground. his legs moved in back of him and drag him further as Roth held onto the mud making five long lines before his feet landed. Roth now on all fours and his head down looked up to his opponent who began to speak. He told him that he had no wish to fight him. Roth reflected on the past 6 encounters and realized that the large crowd wasn't appealing for the two fighters who really didn't have a strong desire to stand out.
Roth caught up against his adversaries order and began to walk slowly to him in a very stoic manner. Roth kept walking up to him until he was about two feet away. Roth then bent over and picked up his trench coat which was surprisingly close to his fight. Roth threw the now dirty muddy coat on himself and once again came closer to the fighter. The both stood face to face with Roth having to look slightly down on him. Roth starred, and the smiled and assuring smile and held out his right hand in a friendly handshake for his opponent.
"No tricks." Roth began to assure his opponent that the fight was over. "If you don't wantr ot fight I can definatly see why" Roth began to jestre at the large crowd whoi had all escaped from thier classes. With the fight seeming to stopp that crowd began to boo and yell other comments. The only one Roth had made out was one about this not being wrestling, and from the crowd in the back Roth would have to disagree.
"So I can tell your good, and hopefully one day we can finish this but that's all up to you." Roth still held out his hand to see if his opponent would agree to his own terms and they could both go back peacfully, if he left Roth could go back about his buisness and check on the girl and boy to see if they had truley escaped, or if they were atleast no longer in harm. Roth may have had unconvetional methods, but they've never failed him once.

He watched the boy fly through the air before seeing him try to soften his landing, but to no avail. You could see his attempts to touch down softly in the mud, five lines drawn from the tips of his fingers digging deep into the muddy surface of the ground. His feet still in the air for some time came down on his toes and he continued to slide further before coming to a stop on all fours. His head was down at first, but it was slowly raised up at Shimizu, his eyes seeing his face and understanding fully what had just happened.
The boy got up and started to walk towards Shimizu. Shimizu didn’t make any movements that would spur his opponent on to anything and only saw him stop, look down, and pick up his coat, which he had dropped earlier. It was muddy and wet, but the boy didn’t care in the least. He swung it around and placed it on his body before taking more steps toward Shimizu, who was starting to get a little edgy. At first Shimizu thought he was going to try a quick one, but when his hand didn’t shoot out it was official. The fight was over.
‘No tricks’ was all Shimizu heard as the hand sat there waiting for a response. Shimizu relaxed himself and placed his hand into the boy’s hand and shook it firmly. He looked him in the face and saw the boy wasn’t much for fighting at this point. They both didn’t feel like making themselves more visible to the fighting crowd of the Hircine High School. That wouldn’t be good for business at all.
‘So I can tell your good, and hopefully one day we can finish this but that's all up to you.’ Shimizu smiled and shook his head. That would have to take place a long time from now. Unless something came up and it made him fight this wouldn’t happen again, even if was only a friendly spar. He didn’t like to do that kind of thing unless it was in a sanctioned event, which in Shimizu’s case was Tang Su Do. As Shimizu was about to talk he noticed something.
The crowd excited at first, turned into a restless crowd of morons who started to boo the fact that the fight may be over. No, it was over. This pissed them off to the point of a small riot happening. They started to throw bottles and trash at the two of them and a couple tried to make there way through the crowd to get another fight started. They wanted to please their brethren who were blood thirsty maniacs who only lived to see others in pain one way or another.
“Stop, I don’t want to hurt any of you, but if you persist I will fight back.” Shimizu looked over to the boy, not even yet knowing his name and waited for his reply. What was he going to do? At this point it was a bit late to keep us out of sight. Before any of the others could get close enough Shimizu made himself known. “I am Shimizu Kuribayashi, Kempei Tai Officer of the Royal Seal. If its possible we could be friends I need some at this point.” He said with a small smirk on his face, trying to be friendly.

The fight ended after one attack. Pine had to admit the wrestlers attempt to save himself was pretty admirable. Had he been a better fighter such a problem would not have come to pass, but everyone had to learn somehow.
Roth got up covered in water and mud. He proceeded to walk over and pick up his jacket not to far away to be struck by his opponent. His opponent however saw no reason to attack him and let him do what he wanted. He supposed the boy was more of a defensive fighter than an offensive one. Though uncommon at Varron or even here, it was something Pine knew well. It was safe to say that he had the marks to prove it.
Both boys shook hands and concluded the fight. Pine was slightly disappointed at the event but was glad he did not have to carry the loser to the nurse's office. This is what Pine was thinking when all hell broke lose in the surrounding group. It turned out that they were not only unhappy with the turn of events but that their mob mentality easily overtook them. The group was getting violent fast, and Pine had to do something before it got really ugly.
He spun around and was yelling at the group to calm down and get on with their day. He continued to do this until glass juice bottle hit him hard on the shoulder. Now Pine was forced to move into a defensive stance to protect himself and backed into the middle where the other two boys were standing. "Good job boys, you started a small riot. So either of you intelligent individuals have a way to remedy this?"

Roth looked up to the sky for a quick moment as the two shook hands. Roth had found that his former opponent was a lot more friendly than he had first thought, although he was never a good judge of character and almost always leaned on first impressions. As the two released hands he revealed his name to be Shimizu Kuribayashi, followed by a seemingly martial arts title that Roth didn't fully understand how to say. Roth looked once more at his once opponent to take in his name with his face. Roth then looked back to the small riot at hand.
"Alright, Shimizu, I'll be sure to remember it. My name's Roth O'Roak, transfer student from Mugen Hall." Roth looked over his shoulder at Shimizu and smiled once again. "I guess I can now call you my first official friend in this west coast adjustment, if you will." Roth then looked over back to the rioting crowd throwing all sorts of trash and other debris at the two peaceful fighters turned friends. The clouds dispersed and the chance for washing the crowd out was no longer an option. Roth heard boos and hisses through out with only a small fraction of the crowd trying to calm everything down.
Soon a student who Roth had been watching try to keep the peace came up to them after landing a glass bottle to shoulder. "Good job boys, you started a small riot. So either of you intelligent individuals have a way to remedy this?" The new student stared at the two of them as if he were the law asking for an excuse.
"Well your attitude aside you have a good point." Roth watched on as the crowd began to close in on them. All expert the ten plus peacekeepers were still chanting and booing them for there false hope of watching a fight. "Well with all this happening theres not much we can do. I could maybe try to scare them off, but that will only scare off the weaker ones away. The way I see it I can get rid of a little over half if you guys wouldn't mind blocking your ears for a bit." Roth tried to gesture his plan to scare them. It would be a loud simple yell across the courtyard which if focused probably would crack a few windows. Roth was almost born with the voice he has today. A deep low voice that never cracked in his lesser adolescence. Roth's Irish and small amount of Lithuanian blood made his size and his voice and if most weren't scared off they would be temporarily deafened and run off for the nurse.
"Or we could go with something a little less loud and destructive." Roth turned over to Shimizu. "You got anything?"

Shimizu looked into the crowd, turning into a small riot. It was just like in his country when they found that he was being used as a political pawn. The crowds then were not after him, but defending him. This crowd was hostile and they were wanting blood…preferably his and the other two who were with him for not fighting at their request.
‘What should I do now.’ Shimizu thought to himself. He didn’t want to lunge out into the raging crowd before him and plead. That would only make it worse for him and the others. He didn’t want to strike out at them because that would mean and open invitation to get his ass kicked. The only thing he would and could do was wait for one of them to lash out at him, then it would be all about self-defense and maybe they would fight amongst themselves for not being the first to throw a punch.
He waited and looked around, seeing who might be the one who would cause the riot to explode, but no one dared to step in and take the first shot at glory. It was as if they already knew what might happen and didn’t feel like fighting with each other. Shimizu felt like they were reading his mind word by word thought by thought. Shimizu couldn’t think of anything else, but to step forward and make him a target. As he thought and stepped, he felt the strong pressure from a punch hit him in the face.
That’s more like it. Keep swinging boys.’ He thought to himself again as he hit the ground with a thud in the sitting position. He rubbed his face and saw blood on his hand. He had a small double vision, but it cleared in a couple seconds. He looked up to who had hit him and they were wearing brass knuckles and this wasn’t good at all. If he got hit again with those on he would surely be knocked senseless and that would be the end of him for sure. He jumped to his feet and slowly got into a martial stance as a tiger.
“You want some now I see. Well then lets go.”
Shimizu stepped forward in a shuffle and threw a fast jab to the boy’s throat, which was wide-open territory and nailed him. Before the boy could react Shimizu stepped in once more, now throwing a hard straight right hand, sinking his fist into the left eye socket of the boy. He watched the brass knuckle-wearing thug hit the deck with a loud thud. He looked to see who was next, but still no one came. He wasn’t going to step out and get hit again. That was for sure, but he was proven wrong as he stepped back and a sharp pain came from his left kidney.
'Damn, not again.' Shimizu hit the ground and tried to limp up to his feet before falling to his knees in utter pain. He was, for now, incapacitated and that was bad. Someone could now knock him out without even trying. Shimizu tried to think of something to do but couldn’t. He reached up to his head and the blood was still coming. He needed help or he would go into shock. He looked over to Roth and hoped he could think of something better than get killed.

(OOC: yeah... it occurred to me that this post sucked so I did a little editing to it.)
~Well I guess I'm fighting then~ Pine thought to himself as he watched the Asian boy hit the ground after a punch to the face.
Pine immediately began to think paper tiger. Paper tiger is what King called a person who could give a hit but not take one. It was clear the by could fight but if he couldn't take a simple punch... Pine was of course quickly corrected when the boy got off his ass and knocked his opponent to the ground. It was then a glint from his knuckles told the story of what really happened. Pine was now slightly impressed, taking a shot from a pair of brass knuckles wasn't pleasant.
Of course the feeling was quickly replaced by a sharp pain to the back of his head. Pine heard the crack of wood on bone as he was sent flying face first into the ground. "mmfph" Was all he could muster as he spat out a great deal of mud. He picked himself up onto his knees before the second shot caught him in the same place on the back of the head. Pine heard a familiar voice begin to taunt him as he lay there very groggy.
The voice belonged to Polly who thought he was a big man with the 2x4 swinging in his hands. "Polly you son of a bitch have a cracker and get the hell off my ass." Pine said as he rolled over and flung a full fist full of mud into Polly's face. Pine managed to get to his feet before a different person caught him with an elbow to the temple. Pine hit the ground a third time in 1 minute and decided perhaps he should lay there a little longer before trying to get up again.
His intention was to wait until Polly made ready for the second strike. He could hear the boy and the anger in his voice as he tried to remove mud from his eyes and mouth. Pine hoped that by the time Polly was ready to strike his double vision will have cleared. If not he was as good as dead laying there virtually helpless. How utterly embarrassing.

(OOC: Sorry for the long ass wait, I had tests in everyclass the week before finals and now finals =(. )
Roth looked on as Shimizu and the newest member of their little group began to fight the crowd. Roth didn't even know why he came up woth ideas when violence was the best and probably most fun answer anyway. Roth watched as the boy he didn't know be attacked by a man with a large piece of wood, and Shimizu take down another guy in one punch. Roth now knowing his role looked through the crowd for someone to take down preferably some large or strong to try to have the weakers members of the riot back off or stay out of the way untik the rest cleared out.
Roth scanned the crowd and found his younger brother Aaron running his mouth throughout the crowd along with Roth's older brother Brian trying toi calm him down. Roth looked over once more at Shimizu and the other seeing if they were alright on their own. Roth began to run over into the crowd. About 15 people seperated Roth from his brothers.
"If ya don't wanna get hurt move NOW!" Roth yelled at about half his shouting capacity. About two people moved away from Roth as he went to his brothers. Two rioters immediatly blocked Roth's path. Roth telling from their posture and actions they weren't well seasoned fighters. Roth put out his right foot and leapt forward while spinning driving a left horizontial leg into both of their unblocked faces. Roth spun another 180 or so degrees to land on his feet with his back facing the crowd. Roth turned to see only 3 people now blocking the three bothers. Roth jogged up to them to be sucker punched by a tall slim student to his left. Roth immeditaly spun to his right with the punch followed by stiffening his left leg and throwing a large right kick into the attackers jaw.
"Brian! Aaron! Help with this shit will ya?" Roth cried out to his brothers as two more student came at him. One came from behind locking in a full nelson rendering Roth's arms useless. The other charging from the front came at Roth with a large righ hook landing straight into Roth's jaw. Roth looked up seeing a left hook coming in for the kill. Roth quickly kicked the shin of the person holding him from behind with his heel and slipped out of the hold onto the ground as the oncoming left hook hit the exicutor of the hold. Roth got back up to his feet and planted a left knee on the man who shot both punches. Roth wrapped the man's hanging head with his left arm lifted the man's right arm over his head, grapped the back of his pants and supplexed him over onto his friend.
Roth looked up to find some of the rioters backing off and reentering te buildings while others closed in for the kill. Roth saw Aaron and Brian both throwing two other students to the ground while they came up to Roth. "Alright guys, follow me so we can meet up with the other two." Roth dragged Aaron behind him leaving Brain to follow since he was more able to defend him self. The three of them made it back to where the fight between Shimizu and Roth took place.
"Alright, guys. Take a good look at those two there" Roth pointed over to Shimizu, and then to the other who adressed Roth and Shimizu about the riot. "Those are the good guys, don't hurt them. I want you two to go help them out. Aaron you go with the stocky looking one, and Brian go help Shimizu. Tell them both to go and take out the largest threats in the riot and I'll go take out the smaller less threating groups by myself, got it?" Roth looked into both his brothers eys and found a nod of aproval in both. "good, I'll see ya when this is all over."
