”Listen to me my fellow students!!” It was lunch time. Students sitting at the benches outside, trying to get the best out of those last days of summer before everything turned cold and rainy. The fools sat around those tables ready to devour their food like nothing mattered in the world, but that was an illusion. You could see the fear in their eyes. You could hear it in their voices when they spoke. Would today, be the day Paragon invaded? Was it this very minute? Paragon had first attacked the school directly and then attacked the dorms in the shade of the night. Where stood the school captain in all of this? That was the main question. No reassuring words had been spoken and up until now, noone had told them anything. That was, until a 6 foot and 5 inches tall student with 230 pounds worth of muscle (a bit exaggerated) stood up on a table. It was his … or rather. My voice you could hear above the small talk of the students. Most of them would look up at this madman. Why did he speak to them in this angered tone? Why did he look them with these eyes filled with anger. My left hand was bandaged. A wound from the battle. I wore a simple black t-shirt and a pair of normal jeans. Some people began to whisper to their friends and other students came closer to this part of the school grounds to hear what the hell I was talking about. ”This school is in peril! My friends! We have a school captain who is slacking off! While we students fight and suffer from the attacks from Paragon! Their biggest attack thus far, caused almost 50 students to be beaten down! IS THIS WHAT WE WANTED WHEN THE WATCHERS LEFT US? No! At least the Watchers followed some sort of justice system you could understand and avoid breaking. BUT PARAGON! THEY BEAT DOWN WHOEVER WHENEVER! THEY DON’T CARE WHO YOU ARE!” There was a pause, more and more people were gathering at the sound of my words. Neither of them looked pleased, but I wasn’t here to have people who looked happy, I was gathering a mob of angry people. Their anger just had to be directed at someone or something. So, feeling like a second coming of Stern Mason, I spoke again. ”And you know who’s fault that is! No, not the system! THE FAULT IS THE CAPTAIN’S! He fail to protect us students! He fail to protect our dorm rooms! Simply put… HE FAIL AT BEING A CAPTAIN!” Such a powerful statement needed a pause to let it sink in, but I would not give them much pause. You should something something when the iron was hot. ”THAT IS WHY HE SHOULD BE REPLACED! Not by me! But by a student who saved all of you from being in a system that overstepped its authorithy. I am naturally talking about SETH CALLOWAY!” That was what my speech was all about. Pointing out someone else to lead and to put some heat under the masses. They were angry. I had all intentions to misuse their anger. I stood there on the table. I had turned the quiet lunch into a massive roar of people clapping, cheering and booing. A split school. In other words. A weak school. I think I can live without Varron…

Well this is... unexpected.Seth Calloway leaned against the nearby wall of the school, a small distance away from the courtyard commenly used at lunchtime. A cigarette hung lazily out the side of his mouth, in clear violation of the anti-smoking laws that required him to be further away from the school before lighting up. On his left, Tamara kept her constant vigil, accompanying him since he had started making appearances in public once more after his short transfer to Paragon, a trip that had been made simply to see for himself what sort of environment the Institute possessed. He had been severely disappointed. Since returning, he had been plotting as to what sort of action to take against Paragon and its principal, debating whether to use the School Captain's power against them, and so, had hired "Layla" to find information for him to better combat his potential adversaries. This apparent rally, however, was not something he had expected, not so soon, and certainly not without being something he had set into motion. Even as he scrutinized the man delivering the speech, he could hear Tamara voicing her concerns. "Maybe we shouldn't be here right now... someone's bound to notice us-" "Hey look! There he is now!" Before the gang leader could reply, it was obvious he'd already been spotted by one of those listening to the student's speech. He hadn't looked away from the one on the table, his face remaining simply curious, but it was becoming increasingly obvious the crowd was expecting him to say something. While cautious, of course, Seth had learned not to look a gift horse in the mouth so to speak, and much to Tamara's chagrin, pushed himself off the wall and strode amongst the benches and tables, speaking out as he did so. "Paragon has indeed become more than something we can simply ignore. We can't be too harsh on our current Captain, however, as it simply isn't physically possible for him to be present at every troublesome occasion. But then, that begs the question of what exactly our Captain intends on doing about these strikes? So far... nothing. I, for one, would like some sort of retribution, or at least an attempt to ensure it doesn't happen again." Having walked to where the student on the table was standing, Seth would look up at the man from up close, before continuing. "If it is what you all desire, then I will meet with the Captain again, and should he not have a satisfactory answer, take the Captainship from him, however reluctantly. With Hicine united under one banner, there is no way that Paragon and its psychotic inhabitants will be able to stand against us." At the sudden explosion of cheering, Seth couldn't help but smile.

This was getting out of hand.
Really, Alkaiser shouldn't have been surprised. As all of this had been happening he chose to stand idly by. His curiosity was stirred by Paragon, and thus he took a spectators position, waiting to see if the rival-campus truly posed a threat.
Much like before, Steve Barzahd allowed events to play out, watching as the crowd stirred over a proposed coup. Apparently, a radical mindset had swept Hircine in these times of trial. Paragon was indeed a problem, but to begin a rally like this was a tad extreme. The boy on the table was more than a tad extreme.
Who was he and why was he campaigning so hard for Seth? The curious Barzahd stood in the back, very visible due to the crowding of people around the men who were speaking. He seemed to be the only one who had turned a cynical ear, and one of the few who hadn't been stirred into support of the hypothetical change of power.
Barzahd believed that it was Hircine's place to rise above the level of Paragon, and allow their deeds to sour to a level of futility, at which time he would push for an attempt to open up diplomatic channels. That particular idea was by far the least popular of all, and one that he tended to keep to himself. Even he couldn't spin those ideals to appeal to the generally impatient population of Hircine.
Steve definitely had to do something to quell this unrest, or see his captain come under attack. At the moment, he just wasn't sure as to what.

New day, new people, new peril. It seemed there were forces here Pine had missed. A person who could be considered a leader was standing actually trying to rally the people into over throwing the school captain. The thought made Pine chuckle and the four former Genaht members at his back do the same. They all knew the score and what would become of such chaos if a coup would take place. Nothing good would come of this and no one was going to overthrow the Captain unless it was him.
Pine moved toward the crowd, then into it looking for a good place to stand and listen to all that was being said. According to this student Paragon had attacked Hircine and fifty students had been injured in the fighting. Injuries in fighting occur all the time, it is part of the natural order. What Pine could not ignore was the laxity in the overall defense of the school. These students were bullies and cowards not fighters and therefore; not able to properly fight the Paragon students on any ground.
Pine stopped moving at the sight of a familiar face, that of Alkaiser. So Victoria was not lying he really was here after all. Pine walked over and put a hand on Steve's shoulder giving him a good to see you nod before speaking. "Good to see you Steve we have much to talk about. Sadly right now I think it is time to shut these kids up don't you?"
With that Pine moved a little further up in the crowd and took a deep breath and yelled. "Is that so? You all really think it is the Captains fault?" Pine could see eyes dart back to him letting him know he had their attention. "I really hate to tell you this ladies and gents but it's not, the fault actually falls to all of us. The Captain hasn't really failed you, on the contrary you have failed yourselves.
I haven't been here long but when I look around I see fear and weakness; a matter I have already taken up with one of your principals after I put two of your fellow classmates in the hospital. You turn to a former Varronite to protect you and you in a way made the right choice. We former Varronites especially those of us that served in the gangs know how to fight we can fight beside you but we cannot fight for you. It is up to each and every one of you to dig down deep and find the courage to protect yourselves and the school from Paragon.
Also, you up there trying to incite the crowd, if your so adamant about deposing the school captain go do it yourself. Stop trying to play on others feelings and get them to do your dirty work for you." Pine took a deep breath and waited for a response from the student who started all of this. He and the other four with him kept eyes on the crowd waiting for someone to try something while hoping no one would.

(ooc: ack lol Pine snuck in on me)
The sound of clapping could be heard echoing the parking lot. Making students turn to face the sound. It would be as if the crowd was parted like the red sea as Seth's expected cheers faded into silence.
Victoria stood looking upon the crowd her hands clapping over and over. Her slim figure was covered in black as her jet black hair stood in spikes. She listened to the whispers. It was no secret that she was a past Varron student. Now she was the principle. She addressed her words the student that deemed it necessary to rise and make himself known. The student she had just met not too long ago.
"So you feel that you need someone else to defend you? That you need to be coddled like a small child because another student from a different school has, how do I put it politely... Kicked your ass. Now you come crying like an infant and try to raise your voice within my school. Its absolutely shameful to call yourself a Hircine student."
She then turned her eyes upon Seth.
"And you. Your words are worthless when it comes to how things are run around here. Your merely a boy trying to act like a man. You have no power and thus are expendable."
She turned and addressed the crowd.
"Do not let these students persuade and belittle your intelligence. It is true that Paragon may cause trouble but do not rely on their words to save you. What this fellow student has said is true."
She gave Pine an approving nod.
"If you change leadership now you will only weaken. You must rely on each other and communication. Actions have been addressed and are in the process of being put into use. Varron and Hircine, there is no more line dividing us. Varron students are your allies not your enemies. If you fight among yourselves you will crumble and fall by your own hands."
She turned her eyes back to Seth with a piercing look.
"Your Captain is no more than a squad leader, helping and urging you along. If your going to defy him, you are defying me."

My eyes turned over this herd of people. I had never tried doing this with a group of people I did not know. Things had never gotten to that point in my old plans. I never really had cared for the opinions of other people. A mistake I wouldn't make twice ... or thrice... or whatever number I had reached. (I was a slow learner on some areas) But these people, weak, angry, afraid, a few words to describe them and how they felt, these people had the ability to change matters by sheer numbers. And when I heard one of them yell out louder than the rest, I turned my head and put a face on the name I had promoted. I had expected Seth to be nearby, but not for him to show up in person. And his words sounded good in my ears. I cheered with the rest of the crowd when he was done with his talking. On the inside, I was thinking matters through. I wasn't caught in some euphoria like the rest of these students. I lacked the ability to get into an euphoria over something as trivial as a smart boy.
But all good times had an end... This one had two. First, an old face I barely recognized, Pine. I knew because of some reconstruction, that he would not recognize me. If he did, those words would have been tens of times more hostile. But still, he appeared to be a fierce opponent of changing the captain. Before I could respond, another person appeared on the scene, this time, the person would be able to recognize me, it was the former School Captain at Varron, and now Principal at Hircine. Her words were more of a personal insult to me and I did appear a little angry at her words. But nothing I couldn’t contain. But this really was annoying to say the least. My smile faded away and left a neutral expression.
… A public debate. What I hate the most. Let’s see what we can make out of this up-tight guy…
”Let me ask you something before I answer your question. What kind of example does a shivering coward who hides behind the curtains while the people who trust him get beaten up by savages from another school, set? Answer me, what kind of example does he set?
On a second thought, don’t answer me. Because it is quite clear to everyone here, what kind of example that is. So how about you for once, get down from your high horse, and see that not everyone here are fighters. They’re students. Some of them are capable of fighting, true, but they come here to study and have a good time with their friends. Not to engage another school in some pointless conflict! Am I right!?” The students around me cheered on what I said.
”I am such a student. I do not come here to fight, if I must, I will, but my first priority here, is to study. So, I have no desire to have the title for myself. Not when someone like Seth is a better choice for the title.” I gestured with my hand at Seth’s position. I think I had made a good case for myself here and I felt confident to turn on the second disturbance. My eyes locked on Miss Alexander and I spoke to her directly.
”If memory serves me right, Miss Alexander, then I was among the few still standing after that battle. So, it is not fear that begs for me to get protection. It is my compassion that begs me to get protection. Not protection for myself, protection for the students in this school. Those who have been abandoned by your squad leader. What a great way to urge us forward. By leaving us to fend for ourselves?"

"And who did you inform to help come to your aid. Who did you go to after this had occurred. No one! You have taken this upon yourself and with that lack of communication will guarantee your failure to gain anyone to stand against the person we, the Principles have put into charge. Ask yourself one question. Who will listen to your complaints when there is no one around you. When the pillars, when the people who are able to defend this school are fighting where will you be. Will you be standing on the side lines?"
She made a fist and clenched it tightly.
"How can your judgment point anyone in the right direction when your judgment is tainted and you can't see the whole picture."
She threw her fist towards the ground as she looked sternly at the John Smith.
"If there happens to be any concerns regarding this matter it should be brought to me immediately and not addressed on a wooden table making a fool of yourself. This school needs communication not idiotic rantings. You want to be prepare for Paragon then you need to get your act together. You want to go astray then you will be going alone."

(Post order? What's that?)
Tamara's hands had clenched into fists at the two newcomer's arrivals. She was downright furious that anyone would dare speak against Seth, and had the Junior in question asked her to, she would have immediately taken a swing at either one, regardless of their position. In stark contrast to her fury, however, Seth watched with silent amusement, watching each person speak in turn before there was finally a gap for him to give his own input.
"If I may interject, for a moment. As I said before, there's no point in being too harsh with the School Captain, but the fact remains that he has done nothing to rectify our situation. I hardly see how pointing out the obvious is belittling our intelligence. However..."
Slowly, Seth would turn his head to look at the boy who had interrupted, spouting his own prowess as if he were truly something special.
"I suppose someone should explain to you a bit of history of this school. There were some Varron gangs here, but they didn't last. As I recall, one of the leaders even had his stiches ripped out of his mouth after a convincing loss. I hardly fear the remnants of a broken gang, and neither should the student body."
Rather than continue with his suspiscions, however, Seth would look towards the Principal instead, noting that she didn't seem much older than him either, much the same as Shuya had not. It was an interesting tidbit for him to file away in the back of his mind.
"And in your new position, it seems you've still not become familiar with every student, which is understandable. If you had, however, you would know full well just how seriously I take threats from someone from your position. MacMillan had an army behind him, and Revelation was able to tear him down, why would you be so eager to repeat his mistakes?"

"Okay, that's enough."
The voice, not overly loud or demanding, would still make its way through the crowd. Kyukaku would walk through the open glass doors into the courtyard, having just arrived a moment ago. He had only caught the last bit from the other Principal of the dynamic duo, and Seth.
Thankfully, Kyukaku was still very much aware of the situation. While the exacts words weren't there, Alkaiser had texted him telling him the basis. Some kid talking smack about the Captain and praising Seth. Was this just bad publicity? Hell, it wouldn't be the first time Kyukaku would be shown in bad light, be it an action taken out of context, or a complete frame-up.
Is this one of Seth's ploys?
Kyu couldn't help but ponder it. For all the annoyances Seth brought him though, there was no proof that he was actually plotting against him. Maybe Seth's plotting is to drive Kyu paranoid and make him think he's plotting against him. Well, if so, it was working. Whatever Seth's deal was though, he'd have to expose his intentions sooner or later. Until then, Kyu just had to stretch his patience.
"Let's try and avoid death threats, if you will." Kyukaku nodded towards Seth's direction, beginning to take the rumors of who killed MacMillan seriously. Kyukaku paused after making eye contact with Seth before he gazed over the crowd. He gave a brief nod to Alkaiser before addressing the crowd as a whole.
"So...a coup de'tat. In all these stories of my failures, has anyone tried to tell you what I have done?"
Kyukaku asked, shrugging his shoulders as he sucked up his ego. If there was one thing he hated more than to brag about what he's done, it was to hear of the dissapointment of what he hadn't. Today...he'd have to suffer through both.
"You might remember a graffiti incident, that I was not present for. Of course, that was also before I gained the title, but that's besides the point. I do the best I can to be there for everyone, but the truth is, I can't. I wasn't able to defend us then, because I was elsewhere. I was on my way to school when some Paragon students had jumped one of our on his way to school. When we got here, we saw the clean up. Him, myself, and two others who have now become my pillars, instantly went over to Paragon.
"So yes, I'm not able to prevent every incident, but I have stepped foot on those grounds, and I've attempted to rectify any misjustice. I will not, however, stoop down to that level. Its one thing to protect yourself, its another to seek vengeance. I'm not here to make excuses for things neglected to be brought to my attention, but I am here to ask you not to be so ignorant to assume the Captainship makes anyone all powerful, either."

(OOC: Shot coming from all sides...this will be interesting to try and sort through.)
~Double team me will you? We'll see how tough you giants really are when there isn't a crowd backing you~
The original instigator was right of course. His argument was good and logical as if he knew such opposition would come. Many of these students were not fighters nor did they have the heart to be. That only meant the school had to capitalize on what it did have. These students would have to find a way to fight for themselves whether they liked it or not. If the students wanted to survive they would have to fight back regardless of what they wanted. The sad part was that there was no way Pine would be able to make them see this. They were too pumped, too scared to listen to what Pine had to say, this was pointless. None the less he had to try.
When Seth mentioned the gangs it gave Pine an idea. Sure the comment about Ein and broken gangs stung slightly but the fact was... Pine could not justify an answer to that yet. It would come to him, of that he was sure. Before Pine could defend himself Kyu showed up.
~Oh great, this is going to suck~
Pine as usual was not off the mark. Kyu was all about humility and reaching out to the students. He tried to capitalize on his failures by talking about what he had done right. Which wasn't really anything. This was going to back fire hard, and all Pine could do was watch. Victoria was also having her own troubles with the boy named Seth. It seemed this kid was an instigator worse than himself. He would have to talk to this boy later and ask him a few questions.
Pine shook his head and sighed deeply before turning back to the boy who started all this.
"Yeah your right most of these students don't want or know how to fight. Unfortunately, the students at Paragon do and I doubt they give a rats ass what you want. As for a high horse at 5'6 I don't see anything high about my horse. Not to mention I'm not the one instigating chaos in the school or standing on a table urging people to rise up. If anyone needs to get off a high horse it is you. I hate to tell you this but in Rome you better do what the Romans do. These Paragon students will fight you regardless of what you want, so you best stop crying about it or even more of you will end up in the hospital."
Pine turned to Seth and spit on the ground. "Back then as I am led to understand there was a private army here to keep order. No gang of any sort could stand up to that, if they could you'd be sitting under them right now. I never said you should be afraid of us but you damn well better listen to us because unlike most of you we know how to deal with students like those at Paragon. In all honesty if most of you don't want to fight you might as well allow us to come back and regroup. We cannot protect all of you, but organized we could do more damage to the Paragon students than we could scattered. Oh and Seth, if you want to argue what's best for the school in terms of combat..." Pine pulled out his dog tags for all to see. "Do what I did and join the army. As it stands not only do I have combat experience against the gangs here, I have what I learned there. I think that makes me the leading authority here on how to fight don't you?

OOC: Sorry for the summary guys, felt it was necessary. Understand that nearly all of this post will be Allen's thoughts on the replies instead of his own action, but this will just be a one time thing for the thread. Sorry, old Leon habits die hard.
IC: There's a key element about learning in a school with the Corporal Punishment System that always irritated the hell out of Allen Daughtry: everyone has an opinion, from the child prodigies and the genuine combatants to the liars and the maniacs. And half the time, their argument was for something entirely pointless. Today wasn't entirely different, but it was certainly a pain to hear, a sting quickly throbbing in Daughtry's frontal lobes.
To summarize and plant the freshly appointed Pillar into the situation, the junior scoundrel had been chomping down on a sandwich of some sort in the far corner of the courtyard's bench area, his shaded eyes staring out into the bright light of the clouds as he chewed, his arms covered in the signature leather jacket always adorned on him, a pair of dark blue jeans holding his wallet and other essentials, and a simple black tee shirt covering his chest from underneath his jacket as a pair of mahogany sneakers tucked across his feet. His blond spikes rolled across his skull in the usual fashion, and the tribal tattoo across his face was more notable than usual, thanks to a lack of overshirt.
He wasn't even half way through the turkey roast when some random Hircinian decided to turn a nearby table into a stage platform to give some loud and obnoxious political endeavor. Waving a bandaged hand about, he yelled on about a recent assault by the Paragonian thugs that left dozens of Hircinians wounded and recovering in the local hospitals, an incident that the new Pillar learned of just a few hours before. Yet, the absence of the Captain was suddenly twisted into some kind of failure by the angered man, as he demanded the school replace Kyukaku with some other fighter, a man named Seth Calloway.
Allen's hands dropped the sandwich in front of him as his shaded gaze pulled upward to focus on the show, his eyes glaring in observation as he listened intently the words spat and the name that was beckoned. Daughtry, having an insatiable thirst for information, recognized Calloway as the leader of Revelation, one of Hircine's former gangs from the incident that broke out last year. Yet, that fact alone didn't make sense; why would a student that fought at the attack from the Paragonians want the instigator of last year's riots as a Captain?
'He's more of an anarchist than an enforcer! Fucking twat, you don't know what you're talking about.'
Then, conveniently enough, the man himself showed his face nearby the table where the ranting youth spoke, and Allen immediately recognized him as the sophomore that had been taking gym lessons from his former tournament opponent, Kazuki Shinato.
Gritting his teeth, Allen planted his hands against the table to push himself upright, glaring back, 'You've got to be kidding me. That's Calloway? And he just happens to be here when some guy's endorsing him for the Captainship? There's something amiss here, no doubt...'
Yet, instead of speaking up and countering the words spoken, Daughtry decided that it was best to watch the reaction from the crowd for a while longer. So far, there were only a handful of angry - albeit ignorant or impulsive - Hircinians that surrounded the speaker and his chosen Captain, so their words seem to fall upon ears that desired them. This fact didn't last long, however, as another voice spoke up, one from the other side of the crowd, and Daughtry found himself nodding his head in dismay at the words shared by the unknown male student.
"Frak, he comes in here telling a bunch of pissed off students that the fight was their fault? Doesn't this guy know a thing about politics?"
Granted, Allen could sympathize with some of the man's argument, but he knew the means to which he pointed the facts were entirely doomed to fall on dear ears. Not only was he calling the empowered students involved in the make shift rally "weak" and "foolish," but he was bringing up the old blood of the Varronite and Hircinian division, seemingly suggesting that the Varronites were the truth warriors of the school and thought of as the guardians. This fact alone would bring failure to his words within an instant.
'Better get in there and redirect his words before he sabotages his own bloody cause...'
Then Principal Alexander arrived to try and belittle the two opposing students - Calloway and his mystery fan - with words of childhood and weakness and "inform" the other student body of their responsibilities by supporting the other man's (Pine) arguments. The fact remained that, thus far, Kyukaku's supporters weren't accomplishing the goal very well; they weren't giving the answer that the crowd desired. They were calling the two speech givers cowards and saying that the Hircinians - with their "Varronite" comrades suddenly glorified, helping to belittle them further - had to step up and take their own defense in their hands.
To say the least, Allen was feeling nervous that the affects of the rally would be solidified by its own opposition. In response, the mystery man went on to try and insult the Captain's supporters and try to break their own arguments by - interestingly enough - reminding them that the majority of the Hircinian student body were not, in fact, warriors or fighters at all, but common students hoping to be protected by an adequate leader. That fact alone was something of interest to Allen Daughtry, and something he intended to use for his own advantage. Yet, the Principal went on to argue against his acts and not his demands still, and brought up the fact that the student hadn't taken his complaints to her instead of yelling out loud - as if it mattered who heard the news of a coup.
'You've got to be kidding me. We've got a rebellion brewing and she's worried about the chain of command? Where the hell's Kyukaku when we need him...''
Calloway's response was interesting, though. He continued to emphasize his lack of opposition - unless necessary - to Kyukaku, yet then extended on the success of his own gang in breaking one of Varron's infamous gangs, then adding a threat to Alexander in regards to the clear reminder of his own gang's successes against MacMillan. That fact alone was important for Allen to use later, as a means to break down the Varron argument and to harm Calloway's potential as a Captain. Yet, his lack of ferocity towards Kyukaku was also important; that fact would help quell that crowd when their demands were finally settled.
At last, Allen heard the familiar tone of the Captain himself, and his newly appointed Pillar gave a sigh of relief. Turning on his heel to listen to the senior's words, noting the advantage in his attempt to quell the problem of his inability to fight everywhere, and even using the graffiti incident as an example, but still not solving the problem at hand: granted, Kyukaku was making himself out to be a human in a leadership role, and pointing out the pessimistic attitude of his opposition, but he was still not solving the problem. He was merely countering a few reasons why the crowd wanted him gone in the first place. And that merely opened the opposition up to countering that Calloway, with his gang, could be everywhere.
Of course, then one simply had to remind the crowd of the Watchmen months, but that was beside the point.
And of course, the apparent shorty - 'Five foot six? Holy shit...' - countered the random opposition in such a typical means of trying to counter the insults, of which Allen immediately saw the need to speak up and, at last, answer the demands put forth. Daughtry's tactic: take the elevated man's demands for the Pillarship to defend the student body and answer with Calloway's point of cooperation between the Hircinian fighters, and to take shorty's plan of fighting back by building the "wall" of guardians to assist the Pillarship in defending the student body, so that they could return to their lives of normalcy. To counter act the opportunity for Calloway's entitlement to the Captainship, Allen would remind the crowd of his tendency to divide the school against the staff with anarchy and chaos - traits of the Paragonians - and to emphasize on Kyukaku's own traits of courage and determination to remind the crowd that he was the right man for the title.
Now to business.
Beginning to walk through the crowd now, his shoulders slipping through hordes of individuals, his legs bringing him closer to the man that spoke of war, Allen Daughtry - Pillar of Hircine High - allowed himself to bellow out a few breaths of obnoxious laughter as he came closer to the man that was half a foot shorter than him, allowing his hands to clap together and his shades to cover the false glee in is cerulean eyes.
"Army? Well my my, we're saved! Thank Heaven, when war is upon us, be thankful, for the Spartan is here! Now that we have one soldier, let's see how many more we have!"
Stopping a few feet from the shorter man and his red headed companion, Allen Daughtry nudged a senior nearby him and sent a mocking salute to his gawking and awestruck attention, Daughtry's body stern as he acted as some kind of officer, "You sir, what's your rank?"
The brown haired upper classman stared in bewilderment, unsure of how to respond, "I... um..."
"I said son, what's your RANK!" Daughtry barked in his face.
"Rank? What are you talking about? I have no rank!"
"Hmm... what about you son? And you? What, you don't either?!" Allen continued, his demeanor held as a drill sergeant, before he finally dropped the act and let his face hold a cold eye as he glared back at the first supporter of the war and pointed at him with determination.
"Case in point. The rambling guy on the table wins, you lose. In this crowd of at least a hundred Hircinians - since the Varronite clique is dead, get over it - you'll only find a handful of students that are not only capable, but willing, to fight the Paragonian thugs. You call for a war that can't be fought; we don't have the numbers to treat this like the Battle of Gettysburg man, I'm sorry. So take your dog tags and stick 'um back in your shirt, there's no place for them right now."
Dropping his hand and keeping his shaded gaze on the man for a while longer, Allen nodded his head and turned his attention back to the crowd, "No... Mr. Table here is right: this crowd can't fight, that's their choice, they're not to blame for it. You can't expect a draftee to stand up against those who have bathed in blood like our neighbors, and it only helps to bring more numbers against us than we need. So none of you get that bright idea; we're not going to commission an army. This isn't a war. Not yet."
Pressing through the crowd and kicking himself onto a table, Daughtry now stood at the same height as the speech giver, yet instead focusing his attention on the crowd, not the others. He wasn't interested in a debate; he was only there to quell the crowd.
"You want to be safe from the Paragonian fools? Fine, that can be done, but don't go thinking the Principal can save you! Don't go thinking that Seth Calloway, the man that gave you the terrible riots and anarchy of last year - which, might I remind you, is very similar to the way our friendly Paragonians act - is going to save you with his gang that would become much like Revelation. No! Turn to the man that has helped you so far, and will continue to help you! Turn to Kyukaku and his Pillarship, because we'll give everything we've got to save this school from harm!
"But here's the problem: there is no way four men can fight against dozens, perhaps even hundreds, of tested fighters from a school where they're encouraged to lust for bloodshed. And there's no way we can lead a solid offense against them, so I make this proclamation: if you support Kyukaku's Captainship and his chosen Pillars, then you'll be saving yourselves! Because, right now, at this moment, I ask that any fighters here at Hircine High that feel strong enough to break down those charging Paragonians to come stand by me, because today, I will start a group known to this school as 'The Vanguard', an order of Hircinian fighters that will battle against any Paragonian that tries to fight us! Those of you who wish to continue your classes will have the able opportunity, but those of you who know the need I have for your fist and foot, then step right up and join me, and I promise you, we'll give those goddamn Paragonians something to fear!"
Waving his arm in the air, Daughtry concluded, "Offense is not an option, so let's build up a defense that those ignorant men could never break! If we stand united, with Calloway and everyone else beside us, then you'll all have the chance to live your lives in peace! So how about it? Join the Vanguard, or stand behind it! Those are your options!"

"So this is the guy that's been doing my job while I've been gathering...He seems surprisingly well-suited for such work. It's a travesty that I haven't made his acquaintance yet.."
Alkaiser eyed over the other pillar. This Allen Daughtry that he had come to know through rumors was making an awfully good first showing. Being able to communicate among a group of people without an open ear among them was quite the feat, even for an orator such as Barzahd.
Steve finished sizing up Daughtry, and then looked at his old buddy Pine. There was no doubt that Pine was someone whom Steve greatly respected, but his power was wasted at times by his misguided beliefs and inability to rally others to his cause. Steve definitely hoped that Pine would agree and move behind Allen.
Kyu had shown according to Steve's text, which was a huge luxury to the loudmouthed pillar. It's amazing how much more people listened when his friends were around. Besides that, Seth Calloway was around, attending his own rally. Having his own personal herald could come in handy, but at the same time ass-kissing was an offense that could often land you face first in a gym locker around this school. It was definitely a weird situation.
To top it all off, co-principal Alexander was there. Her ability to settle the students was definitely an ineffective one. Mouthing off to the new authorities before they even had a chance to get under Steve's skin wasn't the greatest plan he had ever come up with, but Allen sure deserved some support for his cause.
So that was it, in black and white. One pillar vehemently campaigns for his stance, and another is the first to back him. Alkaiser steps to his side, finally revealing himself to all who were to busy to take notice of him at first. He crosses his arms and puts on his best tough-guy face.
"Hey, I'm Steve by the way."

Having arrived only shortly before the captain of Hircine High had shown up to the scene himself, Nobuo Yamamoto was at loss as to what was happening. Not that it mattered; judging from the contents that came out of a few select students' mouths, whose voices took precedence over the low, angry murmurs and occasional shouts from the crowd, it was some kind of debate, some political drivel that the Japanese student couldn't hope to comprehend, even if he had been present during the beginning of all this talking.
Nobu was drawn to the crowd when he exited the school, munching on a banana, hoping to enjoy his lunch period outdoors. The mass of bodies was cheering, and curious as to what was going on(who wouldn't be attracted to a cheering crowd of people and a solitary figure on a lunch table?), Nobu made his way toward all the commotion, tossing the empty peel of his banana off to the side.
None of the faces, with the exception of Hircine High's vice principal, and later, the school captain Kyukaku, were familiar to the Japanese youth. He stood there, arms crossed over his chest, expression, grave as always, as the clash of politics occured before him. From what he managed to gather from all the talk going on, there was some intention of ursurping Kyukaku's title coming from the taller, black-haired student, and tied into that was the Paragon-Hircine conflicts that have been on the rise as of late. The mere thought of the Paragon Institute caused the Japanese student's hands to curl into fists. However, it was not necessarily out of anger; Nobu had realized after the graffiti incident that this feeling that welled up inside him was not anger, but the desire to fight. Whenever Paragonians came to mind, so did the notion of fighting, a process which has been hard-wired into the Japanese warrior's mind.
Another face that Nobu recognized made itself known once he spoke up, causing the Japanese student to perk up, his eyebrows rising in curiosity but his face remaining stoic. The shaded blonde began speaking, and once he got excited enough, hopped up onto the bench to rile up the rest of Hircine High's population. Nobu pushed his way through the crowd and approached the bench on which the blonde was standing on, much like several other Hircinians willing to fight against the Paragonian threat.
Playing defense, like the blonde made it seem like his intentions were, was not part of the Japanese warrior's vocabulary. If anything, he was going on the offense, even if he was the sole attacker in the whole thing. He knew he wouldn't be, though; Allen had propsed to Nobu himself that he could count on his support against the Paragonians in a discreet, offensive manner. However, that was before a second(or was it third?) assault by the students of the Paragon Instute was made on the grounds of Hircine High. Would Allen simply abandon his plans for 'The Blades'? Those questions and more would have to asked later, in private. For now...
"I didn't know you were a politician, Allen," Nobu quipped, hopping up onto the bench and taking a stand next to the taller blonde, causing the bench to become a bit more crowded than usual with three bodies now on the tabletop. Turning to Allen as his arms found themselves crossed against his chest once again, Nobu said in an almost monotone manner, "I take it you're already aware of my view on this matter?"

Victoria had enough. She didn’t want a fist fight or any other arguing to occur. It was bad enough that she didn’t break it up as soon as she got there. But she wanted to address the students that the school was doing something about the problem with Paragon. But it seemed as if it went on deaf ears.
Watching as the School’s Captain made his own entrance and has said his own words on his behalf. She felt that this gathering needed to be put to an end. Reaching to her side she pulled out a small two way frequency radio. Flipped it on and pushed the button.
“Please bring security around.”
Looking over the crowd. She didn’t want to play the bad guy and not be understanding. In truth she wanted to be trusted and able to have students come to her with their needs. But teenagers will be teenagers and will do anything they want. Even if their judgement or minds were clouded. “Okay! If I may have your attention and I will not say this twice. If you are not the Captain or a Pillar, You have roughly..”
She looked behind her at the security men who were entering the courtyard.
“Ten seconds to clear out. If you are still standing here or putting up a fight to remain here. You will be having a one on one with me personally as well as being accompanied by your parent or guardian.”
She put her hands on her hips and watched as some of the crowd began to disburse.
“Five seconds!!”
She shouted.
