*Before I had a chance to pay my part, Antonio had already handed over his debit card. I generally prefer paying for myself but I was too tired to care at this point. Wondering how this student was going to eat with that strange mask on, Antonio had already went into the bathroom to change his face.
When Antonio came out wearing a bandana and glasses, I couldn't help but smirk slightly. What a character. I shake my head at the sight of Antonio's disguise and begin walking to one of the tables inside. Indoors seems better for his sake.*
"Well since we are inside already," I reply simply.

"Well since we are inside already,"
"Ok then."
Antonio sat down and started eating. He was meeting new people really quick. It has only been a couple of months since he arrived at Hircine High. He was already having so much fun. He started wondering about what this guy does.
"So what kind of stuff are you in to? You probably know already just by looking at me what I like. Are you into fast cars, women and street fighting? Thats really the only picture I pick up around here when I hear people talk. There are some people who are interested in being themselves and I met a couple people like that already which is amazing. The school is big. There isn't anything wrong being yourself as odd it may sound coming from someone like me. I envy people who can be themeselves. I can't."

*It did not take long for Antonio to try and start conversation while I ate. These questions were always killers. I was not interesting. I was rather dull in fact. At least compared to what I have seen already. Well, lets get this wreck moving I suppose.*
"I read mostly, whatever topics briefly peak my interest at the time. Occasionally I find opponents to play chess or go with," I answer, "I fought at one time but not recently. For the most part, I spend my time alone. I usually just stay out of things way."
*Nothing special, that's how it is with me. Wasn't much to say against a person training to be a wrestler but I don't think I would look good in a mask anyway.*

Antonio finished up eating and he felt as if Tristram was not used to be asked questions like this. Judging from his looks, body language, tone of voice, the pace he was eating at, many other things, Antonio picked up Tristram as a very mellow kind of person. Mellowish and calm individual. It was a new sight for Antonio to meet someone like this because most of the people were either really outgoing in the school or they were just jerks. Tristram seemed very neutral, in between agreement and disagreement. He would try to ask better questions or just try to make the way he talks much more recognized by someone like him, just so he would feel better.
"I heard chess is somewhat similar to go. What is go? I have heard of it before as a game but I have never actually seen anyone play or tell me how it is played. I hear stories that people play days on end for money." Antonio said with a somewhat plain but interesting tone. He tried to match his tone with Tristram's just so he would get a better response out of him.

"That is no different from chess or any sort of game," I reply, "Anything that can be made into a tournament can have something to gain from it. Go is just another strategy game revolving around taking and maintaining territory. You can capture pieces just like chess but there are many more moves required to play Go."
*I was not sure why he would be interested in these games at all. Though combat has it similarities, I did not think a wrestler had much interest in such things.*
"The game has simple rules," I continue, "But, it is difficult to be called good at it. I do not believe many play the game around here, only met one in Varron that knew how to play at all."
*I push away my tray. I was done with my meal. My eyes remained on Antonio, seeing if he had anything else he wished to speak about.*

"Anything that can be made into a tournament can have something to gain from it. Go is just another strategy game revolving around taking and maintaining territory. You can capture pieces just like chess but there are many more moves required to play Go."
Gain? Sounded interesting. Tristram went on.
"The game has simple rules,"
" But, it is difficult to be called good at it. I do not believe many play the game around here, only met one in Varron that knew how to play at all."
As Tristram waited, and finished his meal, Antonio said:
"Oh! Almost forgot. I am having another shot at the LCFA title very soon. Hopefully this year I will be the LCFA west coast champion. I had to beat a guy, then fight the champion last time. I was really close to getting that title. But I think it was the fact most people I handed out front stage passes to that event, actually never went. If you are up for it just show up at the match. Here's a couple passes to front row if you can make it and bring family and/or friends."
Antonio gave a couple front row seat tickets to Tristram. He then waited for a response then continued:
"Wrestling isn't fake in terms of pain, there is no acting either. On usual nights where I just fight people, the higher ups usually say 'Ok he is going to lose, and you are going to win. Any questions?' Sometimes a guy might have an injury from a past match or from real life and they go 'Ok he is going to lose, and you are going to win BUT not locks on the left wrist, or no powerbombs or ddts. Any questions?' When it's a real match for thursday or just a special match they say 'Ok anything goes, either one of you can win. But one of you is going home. You decide. Any questions?' They don't even tell you how to fight, because the majority of the people think we practice this stuff backstage. Truth is we don't know what's going to happen until it happens. We only know the outcome."

*I accepted the tickets from Antonio and looked at them. I did not see how people in front row seats can affect him gaining a title or not. But, then again, I was never fond of popularity contests. It was an odd gesture, never been to such an event before much less had tickets to anything before. If I were to go, the number of people who would come with me would be small. And by small I am pretty sure it's just one. I made note of the date and time on the tickets and slipped them into my pocket.*
"Thanks."
*I continue to listen to Antonio's explanation of how wrestling works. It is either an act or it is not an act, simple enough. No different than most shows on television anyway with it's own risks of course.*
"Then I am sure it will be quite a show," I say calmly.
*I rise to my feet, picking up my tray. Pain shot through my calves which did not surprise me. That is what I get for running too much.*
"Well, shall we get going?" I ask.

"Well, shall we get going?"
Antonio relized Tristram's feet hurt so he walked. He wasn't sure if Tristram would want to run again, but he would run if that's what Tristram wanted to do. Antonio put his tray on the garbage can just like Tristram did. Antonio responded back with a question.
"Where should we go now?"
Antonio looked outside of Subway, and followed Tristram. Maybe Tristram was going to see someone or something. He was unsure, but he still followed. How could he still pick up his feet? Does he have some special kind of pain tolerance?

*I shrug slightly to Antonio's question. Did not know there was anything else. It was getting difficult to walk. The pain was annoying but it was the muscles feeling tight that made things hard. Eventually you can force yourself to walk normally though not without the searing pain followed with even more pain later when the body reminds you what you forced it to do. I sigh softly as I brush some of my long hair behind my shoulders.*
"I do not know," I said softly, "Perhaps I will just return to the dorms."
*I kept my eyes forward as I continued to walk, feeling my calves stretch with each step. Socializing for long durations was not something I had much skill in. Not exactly sure what Antonio is looking for in this conversation. I had no plans, I never do. So where else was there to go besides back to my room?*
