Same as before, folks. Fights take place shortly after your first. Same ring, same rules.

The first round had been over for Kyukaku in the matter of seconds. It wasn't that Xenarius was a push over, but more a perfect blend of skill and luck. Kyukaku had slipped into an effective hold and strike. Xenarius had put up a valient effort against him, but with one small mistake had ended up breaking his own arm. Though satisfied with his easy win, Kyukaku was less than happy how it turned out. He didn't like to seriously injure his opponents, especially good guys like Xenarius.
Regardless of his bittersweet victory, Kyukaku would emerge from the round completely unscathed, and with almost no energy depleted from the quick finisher. He still wore the same apparel from the last fight, as nothing had proven to hinder him so far. Kyukaku didn't know who is opponent was, or how tired he would be. Besides a name not recognized, that was all the information he had on the next stepping stone to gauging his ability to protect his classmates.
As such, Kyukaku began to lightly bounce on his toes as he cranked his neck side to side. Though getting the blood flowing and stretching his neck, the motions were actually habits of Kyukaku's anticipation. He found it hard to stay still in most cases as it was, and when he was the center of attention he couldn't remain still without becomming self concious of the eyes upon him. Hopefully Brad would show soon, before Kyukaku would be doing cartwheels to entertain the crowd in the meantime.

Winning was a huge surprise to Brad. Not so much the fact of the odds being against him... he was just surprised in general. The match itself wasn't really hard to begin with, and he had barely broken a sweat. Then again maybe this was because the match wasn't long at all and he had only won due to quick thinking and moving. Brad liked to think that he was a lucky son-of-a-bitch, because that was all it really came down to. HE WAS JUST LUCKY. End of story.
But now... here was the problem. Brad wasn't going to be facing some no-named fool a.l.a. Zack but... while he didn't recognize the guy by his full name, he KNEW that he had a weird name...
Kyukaku? Brad thought to himself. What the hell? With a name like that, I'd figure this guy would be a martial artist or something.
While Brad had been right in that assessment, he unfortunately didn't know this. And from what the Senior looked like, he certainly wasn't intimidating Brad. At least Brad was trying to be optimistic about the match. He also figured that Kyu would be tired after the last fight (which was untrue), and that he shouldn't expect much of a fight. Although this sounded more like forced optimism than anything else. For all he knew he was scared shitless, and he wasn't ready to admit it.
"Uhh..."
No way I'm going first. My first attack involves lunging the guy, and I can remember quite well how that usually turns out. 'Sides, gotta let this guy exert some more energy.
Cracking his knuckles, Brad let out another loud sigh. "Yeah..." Brad muttered out in the most positive and upbeat tone he could come up with (which made it sound like he was scared out of his mind. In the back of his mind, Brad was cursing at himself very loudly. "Uhh... w-whenever you're ready."

Kyukaku's eyes went to his opponent as he entered the ring, the bouncing of his feet gradually slowing to a stop as he swung his arms back and forth for a final stretch of the shoulders. Brad looked a little taller than Kyukaku, but also a little thinner. That probably gave Kyu the strength advantage, but who knew about the speed. Depending on how well versed the kid was, for Kyukaku was decently fast in his own acclaim. If the kid had no real training, it was possible Kyu would have strength, speed, and a technique advantage over him. But, you shouldn't put all your chickens in one basket, or they'll lay eggs. That's how the saying goes, right?
Kyu cocked an eyebrow as Brad spoke up, frankly seeming a little...pathetic. "Uhh, are you sure you're ready?"
Man, he doesn't seem like a fighter at all. Wait, this is the second round, meaning he had to get here somehow. Hold up, maybe he knows who I am, and he's heard I'm a pretty lenient guy. This must all be a ruse! I bet he's trying to get me to go in light for an easy attack, just so he can take me off guard! That tricky bastard, I'll show him!
Determined to not let his mastermind opponent outsmart him, Kyukaku burst forward. He jabbed out with his left hand, aiming right towards Brad's nose as he let out a kiai, a deep yell from the diaphragm. It wasn't something Kyukaku usually did, but he felt it would have the exact opposite effect Brad was hoping for (or in actuality might scare him even more). Immediately following his quick left handed jab, no matter if it hit or not, Kyukaku would pivot on his left foot, snapping his leg out from the knee and torquing at the hip to send a clean, quick and powerful right round kick to the outside of Brad's left thigh.

It was true: Brad was scared out of his mind. The deep yell that extended from Kyu's chest certainly wasn't going to help matters. His frightened nature didn't stop him from ducking away from the jab with ease, but he was too distracted to see his opponent's other attack. In fact he was so clueless that he had shifted all his weight to his left leg. The clean sweep to the back side of his thigh took Brad by surprise, nearly send him completely off balance. He stumbled away from Kyukaku, turning back to him after regaining his lost balance.
Holy shit... Brad thought to himself, his mind in a complete bind. There was nothing special about a kick, but that nearly sent me on my back... if he does anything fancy, I'll really be in for it. I've got to keep him from attacking. He was getting very frantic, despite the fact that the match had just started minutes ago. Therefore, he had no real time to think properly.
Brad leaped forward without any hesitation (nor any foresight for that matter), throwing a hook aimed right for Kyukaku's nose. Simple enough of an attack and Brad pictured him as someone who would be able to dodge a punch with ease. Of course he wasn't finished yet. Brad figured that Kyu wasn't the sort of person who'd do backflips whenever someone attacked him, and that was his logic.
Brad could have simply sent an uppercut, but that move would have been just too predictable. Instead, he brought his left arm backwards so that his elbow was pointing outwards. Then, still without any clear hesitation or time to think his way through it, Brad rushed forward. He believed he could at least knock down Kyu, since his mind didn't register the fact that his punch hit or missed. He also didn't take into account how Kyukaku could have dodged his attack and was in the middle of striking back. If that was the case, then Brad was simply walking into the attack like a fool.
Then again, could anyone blame him for being spontaneous with his attack?

(OOC: Assuming the hook was also from your left hand from the context. If I'm wrong, let me know.)
The jab was ducked easily enough, as Kyukaku expected. The leg kick landed, however, which was also what Kyu had expected. As Kyu's right leg started coming back, so did Brad with his own strike. As he came in with a left hook, Kyukaku dropped his weight by bending at the knees, ducking the strike as he weaved to the outside in the same way he did to Pain Killer in the last round of the Fighter's League. As the hook would come, it would go just over Kyukaku's head as he moved down and to the right.
As Kyukaku slipped the hook he'd push of his left foot, moving back and to the right 45 degrees. As he moved, Kyukaku's left arm would shoot inwards in a small hook, striking the stomach and sliding off. It stood a good chance of hitting since it was below both Brad's line of eyesight, and it was in sync with Kyukaku's dodge. If Brad's hook was sloppy and he overextended, Kyu would end up striking the floating ribs on the left side instead, causing more damage.
With Kyukaku in a 45 degree diagnol position from Brad, he'd have to change direction in order to continue his assault to try and bring Kyukaku down. However, immediately following Kyukaku's slip and hook, he would be springing back up into stance, sending a powerful right straight to the left side of Brad's jaw. With his left arm cocked back after the hook, he may find it hard to block the punch, as would he avoding it from his attempted charge.

Brad really was expecting Kyukaku to easily dodge the hook from his left arm, but he wasn't imagining his opponent to slide away the way he did. In regards to this, there really wasn't anything to stop Kyu from connecting his blow to his stomach. It knocked the wind out of Brad, but he kept his composure and tried to adjust to the change in positions. This isn't the time to be thinking negatively. The fight isn't completely his, he just has the advantage. Jesus Brad, just focus on what you're good with! No more fooling around!
Luckily Brad looked back soon enough to notice Kyu getting back into a fighting stance. He had a very bad feeling that he was going to attack soon, and sure enough he was right. He ducked backwards, the strike coming so close to actually hitting the left side of his jaw. Adrenalin suddenly coursed through his body when his mind quickly realized his chance was there in plain sight.
Brad suddenly made a grab for Kyu's outstretched right arm with both of his hands, which most likely was going to connect since Kyukaku had left his arm out in the open without much else backing it up. Knowing this, Brad would tug against the arm in an attempt to force Kyu forward. He would then send his right knee flying straight for his opponent's defenseless chest, as violently as he could. This would probably throw Kyukaku into shock for a few seconds, giving Brad the time he needed to take the match for himself.
If he someone didn't get a good grip on Kyu's arm, then Brad would attempt to surge back as far as he could. Close quarters was not this style: he preferred to have a good outlook of the fight before he made any split second decisions.

Brad seemed to be a pretty adequate at evading at the right moment. He waited just long enough before moving back from Kyukaku's straight, so that Kyu's arm was fully extended. Because of this, Brad was able to grab his arm, even though Kyukaku was in the process of snapping it back. Thankfully, Kyu hadn't leaned into the punch, or Brad could really have pulled him around.
As Brad pulled Kyukaku's arm, Kyukaku took a step in with his left leg, crossing it behind his right in Kakadachi stance. While the stance would look as if he was off balance, Kyukaku was very much the opposite, as he moved into the pull with bent knees, lowering his center of gravity. As he stepped behind his right foot, the right foot would immediately be in position to chamber and snap out in a hard right side kick. The heel would strike Brad's solar plexus if the aiming was right, though with Brad moving inwards it was also possible it would hit just above into the chest.
With both of Brad's arms attached to Kyu's arm, he would be completely open to the attack with no hopes to block. This would also negate the Brad's knee strike, as the leg had greater reach than the arms, and therefore quite easily the knee. If hit just right, the power in Kyukaku's legs from years of karate could end the fight here and now. With Brad moving in at the same time, it also increased the chance of it landing, as moving in would decrease the already short amount of time to react.

Again Brad had left himself quite open to the attack Kyukaku sent his way, but this was what he had been hoping for when he took hold of his right arm. He had assumed that Kyu was losing his balance from the way he was standing, as any rational person in a tight situation would have gandered. Then again, he didn't expect the force from the blow to land into his chest, more specifically right near his Celiac plexus. It felt like a cross between "the blow didn't land at all" and "the hit sucked all of the energy out of his body", but the latter was what worried him.
He knees buckled as he gasped for breath, but he thought quickly about his next move. He couldn't leave too much time between attacks or Kyukaku would surely take advantage of the extra time. Overloading his opponent with a barrage of attacks was what did him in last time: Maybe they might work here! Kyu looked fast, but Zack appeared just as fast (not including the backflip he did).
He ducked his head under Kyu's arm, twisting it as far as he could in such a short time. Most likely his opponent wouldn't be able to break out of that since Brad wasn't going to let go of his only advantage anytime soon. Then, under the assumption that Kyu was off balance, Brad made a quick and satisfying kick to the back of his left thigh. Right after that he would send another kick to his leg. No real strategy was involved: Brad was just good at spontaneous decisions. Risky decisions that might cost him the match, no less. Then again, this was the reason he was in the tournament to begin with, so why should he abandon it now?

Kyukaku didn't know how, but Brad took the kick to the chest, wasting no time after the initial impact before moving back in. In order for Brad to move under Kyukaku's arm, it meant he would have to wait til Kyu's leg would snap back down, otherwise he would have to awkwardly move underneath or around Kyu's leg. Assuming he would not only be able to move until Kyu's leg was back, and that it would make movement for him only more difficult if he didn't wait, this seemed the likely time.
This would apparently seem as if Brad could possibly turn the match around, as he had Kyukaku's arm in his grasp. However, the logic Brad didn't learn last time was that Kyukaku may not have the use of one arm for the time being, but as long as he didn't Brad didn't have the use of either of his arms. Because of this, Brad would find it much harder than he had thought to slip underneath Kyukaku.
Pivoting on his left foot, Kyukaku began to turn towards Brad. Due to his pivoting, the twist Brad put on his arm would still be inconvenient and somewhat awkward, but not painful as his arm would line back up with his shoulder. At the same time, Kyukaku's left hand would go to the back of Brad's head, pushing downwards. While this wouldn't stop Brad, it would cause his head to poke between his own arms, as well as slowing him down from changing his momentum slightly. As Kyukaku would force Brad's head down he'd lift his right knee, slamming his knee into Brad's head.
Kyukaku would try and push Brad's head down enough to aim his strike to hit the forehead of Brad, rather than smash the cartilage of his nose. Although Kyukaku wanted to finish this quickly in order to have more of an advantage over his opponents, he already felt bad enough about the circumstance which had broken Xenarius' arm. Kyu wanted to win, but he didn't want to mangle his opponents. Even tricksters like Brad Kavanagh!

That kick to the center of his chest did more damage than Brad let on. Deep inside he was finding it almost hard to breath, but he masked this with the fact that he was panting heavily to begin with. Maybe it was just him, but Brad was beginning to suspect that he was exerting way too much energy for his own good. It hadn't been fifteen minutes into the match and already he was breathing through his mouth in the most tired of fashions. He was also starting to lose his grip on Kyu's arm and gripped even tighter.
This was about the same time when Brad noticed that his head was positioned much further down than he was planning to. Before he knew what was happening, he found that Kyukaku had sent his right knee flying for his forehead and connected perfectly.
Brad's head shot upwards, letting out a yelp of pain. It wasn't the pain that made him cry, but it had more to do with the shock of it all. He wasn't paying attention well enough and he had just walked into the attack. He felt completely dizzy, his knees shaking even more as he had trouble remembering what had just happened to him. Without even starting to think about it, Brad felt himself almost fall over flat onto his back.... but that's when he came up with a plan. It was certainly going to hurt when it went through, but it was about the only thing he could do at the time.
He let himself start to give way, both of his hands clamping tightly down onto Kyukaku's arm. He began to fall towards the ground, feeling his feet nearly tip over, but just as he was about to completely fall over he tugged at Kyu's arm again. He slid one leg back away from Kyukaku in a attempt to get out of the way (so Kyu wouldn't end up landing on him). Brad knew exactly what was going to happen: If Kyukaku lost his balance then he would go tumbling down to the ground along with Brad. Sending the fight to the ground was about the only way he was going to stay in the match. If Kyukaku still had all the room in the world to kick then Brad wouldn't have a chance in hell.

The knee connected fully, Brad whipping back from the attack. Kyukaku would have assumed that he was falling unconcious from the attack, and that could have made Brad's counter work. However, the fact that Brad had yelled out in pain meant Brad was still somehow concious. That fact, in addition to Brad still having a grip on Kyukaku's arm meant that he wasn't quite finished yet. As Kyukaku put his leg down, he pivoted to fact Brad once again, this time on his right foot.
As he pivoted, Kyukaku snapped out his left leg in a high front snap kick. Once again, since Brad had both arms occupied, he would be completely open to attack. Kyukaku's heel would come up between Brad's arms, smashing into the bottom of his chin before snapping back down just as quick as it came up. His left foot would step immediately down after the kick, moving into Brad's pulling momentum. In the case Brad was still concious and holding his arm, Kyukaku would turn his right hand in small clockwise circles, attempting to get loose as he brought his left hand down in a hammerfist on Brad's right wrist to break the hold once and for all.
"You're pretty damn stubborn. I'll give you that!"

A good fight, admittedly, but Kyu's technical style wins out for this match here. Sorry Brad, maybe next time. Good fight though, guys....
Kyu wins.
